As the title suggests, Goddess Mythos is technically a prequel to the Legend of Zelda series. It deals with the lead up and eventual events of The Great Demon War and explores the life of the first Chosen Hero and the nature of the White Goddess Hylia. Set shortly after the events seen in the first reveal trailer for the sequel to Breath of the Wild, where Zelda is seen falling down a seemingly-bottomless pit. Zelda awakens and attempts to make her way back to Link and the surface above, but is caught in a strange detour along the way.
