The group got nervous. They were going to be attack by those nasty vines and die because the tree was going to suck all the nutrients that they had.

''These vines are going to eat us!'' Scream Nami

''I can cut them.'' Said Zoro

''No idiot if you cut how we are going to get out of here!'' Said Sanji annoyed.

''We can go back where we came from!"' Said Chopper nervous.

''Look, the entrance that we came from is gone!'' Said Lannion in horror.

''Crap!' Scream Franky preparing to use his cyborg powers.

''We are trapped!'' Scream Usopp in horror.

The group was now trapped and it looked like the vines were ready to attack and drain them from all of their nutrients.

''What do we now?" Asked Chopper.

''I don't know.'' Said Gilda

''Don't you guys have a super pirate move to save us?" Asked Don

''We can't try anything because someone might get hurt.'' Said Sanji

''Oh no.'' Said Anna.

''We are going to get dry up.'' Said Ray.

''don't say that!'' Scream Usopp, Chopper and Don in horror.

The group felt nervous and not knowing what to do. However there was one person there that wasn't nervous at all and it was Emma. She didn't look all that scared but she was calmer than most people.

Robin noticed that and she knew that the girl had something in mind.

''Emma what is it?" Asked Robin

''I read about this before.'' Said Emma.

''What?!' Asked most of the group

''Ray, this thing is ´´the snake of the something!´´'' Said Emma.

''What kind of dumb name is that!'' Scream Franky.

''It's all on Mr Minerva adventure book! They are really guiding us after all.'' Said Emma showing the book of Minerva.

''So this book has the information about these things?" Asked Nami.

''Yes, I read it a while before we start our journey.'' Said Emma.

Robin took the book out of Emma hands and started to read it quickly. She tried to make the most sense with all this new information and she wanted to get out of this place.

''Its makes sense Emma. The snakes represents these vines and if we use what Minerva did we can get out of here.'' Said Robin.

''You read pretty fast!'' Said Emma amazed at that.

''You get used to it.'' Said luffy.

''Emma, Robin what are you talking about it?" Asked Nami

Ray then remember what Emma told him about the book of adventures. What Minerva did against the snakes was crazy but it kind makes sense in the situation that they were right now.

''Contact.'' Said Ray.

''Huh?" Asked Chopper

''What are you talking about?" Asked Sanji.

''These things attack if you move too fast. It's like something blind, the movement around its only form of vision without any movement he can't attack anything.'' Said Ray.

Emma, Ray and Robin marched towards the vines and while everyone was nervous, they were totally calm.

''Look, its fine.'' Said Emma.

The group all saw that the vines weren't attacking them anymore. They did not understand what was understanding the situation at the moment.

''Can someone explain me what is happening?" Asked Zoro

''I got it! Movement, what Ray was describing is that if we don't touch the vines we are fine.'' Said Nami.

''Nami is right. The only roots that will actively come towards us are the ones coming from the wall. But look! They can't attack us anyway if we don't touch them. As long as we don't touch, the speed of these roots won't be affected at all. It's not scary at all.'' Said Emma all calm.

Robin just smile on how quick in coming up with a plan Emma is. She would make a great member of the Straw hats pirates.

''So its ok as long we don't touch the one in the walls. This is easy, I wasn't scary at all.'' Said Usopp still shaking his legs.

''You are still shaking.' Said Gilda.

''Listen up! Right now, our plan is to climb this trunk up to the ceiling as initially planned. We have to make our way up there before the roots from the wall reach us. But I know we can do it, you all have tiredly clumbeding skills back at home as for you pirates I guess you all can climb as well.'' Said Ray.

''Sure we can.'' Said luffy.

''Can we really do this?" Asked Chris

''If you guys keep doubting yourselves then you will never be free. You need to stop being afraid of everything, I know things haven't been easy for you all, but you all of you need to move forwards and trying to find the place that you need to go.'' Said Luffy

The kids were silenced by the words of the straw hat boy, he looked so easy going but he was telling the truth. They managed to escape the orphanage, leaving so many behind and probably causing the death of the woman that they used to call mother. Now that they are free they need to be brave and fight any enemies that they might come across.

''Luffy is right, we need to trust ourselves and not be afraid. Let's start climbing right now.'' Said Emma.

The kids and pirates start doing this. Hearing Ray and Emma instructions they were able to climb the vines with no problem, sure some of them were nervous but the calm ones were able to talk them out of it and keep going. It wasn't easy but they managed to climb all the way out.

Later

Soon they reach the top and they were back where they were a few minutes ago. Joy was now on their faces as they though they have escape that nightmare scenario.

''We did it!"' Said Emma all happy.

The kids and pirates were all super happy that they were now free from that horryfing trap, althoguht they were still on a place full of demons they were at least not a close space with vines ready to kill them.

''Oh yeah!'' Said Usopp

''I told you guys that we could make it.'' Said Luffy.

''Yes you were right Luffy.'' Said Don

''We are Super!' Said Franky doing his signature pose.

Emma was now super happy, her brothers and sisters were now safes and they were now calm. The pirates were trying to make them feeling calmer and trying to cheer them up.

''Emma, I have a question to you.'' Said Luffy.

''Yes.'' Said Emma

''I am going to make you make a choice.'' Said Luffy.

The girl didn't expect that so far Luffy was a happy go lucky guy and he didn't give a vibe of someone who talked serious, Emma trust them but then again she meet them just a few hours ago.

''What is it?" Asked Emma

''Do you wanna go find this Minerva right now? Or do you wanna go to our ship to rest and sail way from here for a while?" Asked Emma

The girl felt a little pressure, while most of the kids were talking with each other, ray, Don and Gilda were listening towards this talk.

''Hey there what that hell are you doing? You can't just give her some big choice if we move forwards or we go to your supposed pirate ship.'' Said Ray angry.

''Its her choice.'' Said Zoro.

''Why is she getting the big choices?" Asked Ray

''Well she is kind of leader of the group. That's the vibe we got from her.'' Said Usopp

''What am I?" Asked Ray pissed.

''Calm down Ray.'' Said Gilda.

Luffy was still looking at Emma with a serious look, if she wanted to go forwards towards Minerva or go to the ship.

''Your ship?" Asked Emma

''Yes, its big enough to be like a home and we have all kinds of room. But be warned once we set sail we might not come back here for a while. So what is going to be? Go forwards or go away for a while?" Asked Luffy.

Emma was now a bit nervous, she looked for Ray for guidance, but the boy just had enough of all that crap and decided to let Emma make a choice for once, if the ship was big enough to house them they could take a break.

''Your choice Emma.'' Said Emma

''We believe you.'' Said Gilda.

''Yeah, just follow your heart.'' Said Don.

The girl took a deep breath and made her choice.

''I want to find Minerva.'' Said Emma all serious.

''Is that what you want?" Asked Luffy.

''Yes, although I would like to rest and eat some warm food I don't want leave my quest right now. We worked so hard and we don't want to leave right now, we want to keep going until we find Minerva and find a way to save everyone from those farms!'' Said Emma all serious almost crying.

The girl looked so serious to the point of breaking someone heart, Luffy just stand there quiet and gave him a quick answer like always.

''Ok then let's do this.'' Said Luffy with a smile.

''You are not going to leave us?" Asked Emma confused.

''no. We are friends and you guys clearly need help. Besides I can't let kids be alone against giant monsters, you can count me and on my crew to protect you all.'' Said Luffy.

''So you all are going to stay?!' Asked Don in shokc.

''Of course captain orders.'' Said Nami.

The kids all heard the news that the pirates were going to stay with them, they were all in so much joy. They felt safe having these strong people with them and keeping them away from those monsters that would love to eat them.

''Mister Luffy you will protect us?" Asked Chris.

''I am going to do my best! No matter what kind of monster that appear I will kick their ass in all kind of forms!" Scream Luffy

''Yeah! You are the best!" Said most of the kids.

''Is ok for me to touch your swords?'' Aske Dominic

''Hey leave me alone brats!'' Scream Zoro scaring the kids.

''don't worry kids, this marino won't hurt you all. He is dumb enough to kill a fly.'' Said Sanji making sure the kids were all calm.

''I heard you idiot!'' Scream Zoro

''Once we settle for dinner I will make a warm and comfortable meal for you all.'' Said Sanji with a smile.

''What if you are poisoning us?" Asked Ray

''I would never do something like this.'' Said Sanji all serious.

''Sanji is a serious cook. He would never do cheap tricks like poison food or something like that.'' Said Usopp.

''Why would I waste good food with crappy poison. It's just an idiotic move.'' Said Sanji.

''We are going to make sure that you are all safe. Just stay with us and nothing bad will happen.'' Said Nami.

''Yes! We are super pirates so no dumb demon will be dumb enough to mess with us!' Scream Franky.

Robin just laugh at that.

The kids were all jumping with joy. Most of the young were aall happy that they would be safe and the others felt a bit nervous for having these weirdos with them. Emma, Ray and Norman worked hard to save everyone and now they were letting these newcomers to help on their way to a promised Neverland.

''So we are going to be with these weirdos?'' Asked Ray

''Yes, I feel safe already. If they are that strong than we have no other choice.'' Said Don

''I trust them Ray, so this way we can keep going forward.'' Said Emma.

''Is a little cold, should have brought a coat.'' Said usopp now feeling a bit chilly.

''Yes, but we could use these leaves as some kind of coat.'' Said Zoro

Then luffy turned to Emma and asked her one more time.

''Hey Emma, what is the name of the guy that we are looking for?" Asked Luffy.

''William Minerva.'' Said Emma.

Luffy then just smiled and pumped his arm into the air.

''Ok, let's find this Minerva guy everyone.'' Said Luffy all

''Yeah!" Said the kids, Usopp and Chopper all happy

Most of the group were all happy except for Ray who didn't fully trust Luffy and his group to help them in this journey.

''I am going to regret this every day.'' Said Ray

Note: This chapter doesn't have the best writing and I skipped most of the climbing part, but that isn't import. Next chapter will be something I was looking forwards which is the first encounter with a demon and the difference of forces. I didn't felt much ideas to write in this one, I hope to get more idea later and make this as epic as always.
