Gwen uses her powers on a laser lance Kevin kept and tracked where it came from showing an elevator and a guard, Kevin sneaks up and punches them "you hit him to hard!" Gwen says "not him, it!" He says removing a mask showing it was one of those aliens
They frown and go down the elevator and gasp as they see a massive ship "how do we get in?" Gwen asks as Ben puts on the mask and turns into one of the aliens and Kevin and Gwen hide in a cart as Ben drives it
They find a big room and find the laser lances and Gwen destroys them and they see a big white alien with four red eyes walk up "what are you doing on my ship low life vermin?"
Ben frowns and slams down on the omnitrix turning into a massive dinosaur around 12 feet tall and nudges Gwen and Kevin signaling them to run "I'm not leaving you!"
Kevin frowns and grabs Gwen "don't argue with him" "but-" "tennyson can handle this!"
Ben looks at the alien and charges at him and punches it's face as it looks "pest! You dare touch me!" It says as it punches back and pins the alien to the wall, Ben then bites its hand hard and the alien lets go "Vermin! You've infected me! Plus you've discovered my ship, I'll have to sterilize the area!" He says as he throws Ben out of the ship before being caught by Gwen "Ben! Are you alright?!"
He nods and slowly looks up as the ship was taken off and he suddenly grows to around 60 feet and grabs on it as it flies, he spots a laser turn on and approached a hospital and he growls then slams his hand into the ship and rips out as many wires as he could, the laser thankfully turns off but his grip slips and he falls and lands making a massive crater as the ship crashes into the side of a mountain
Ben groans as he turns back and for some reason still felt pain even though before he didn't keep the pain when he transformed back
Gwen and Kevin run up and look at him as he bandaged his leg "you're still hurt?" Gwen asks as Ben nods slowly and Kevin frowns "hell of a fall tennyson, lucky you didn't break your back"
Gwen frowns and looks at Ben "do you want to keep doing this?" She asks as he nods slowly and then looks to Kevin "thanks, we couldn't have don't this without your help"
He frowns "you still won't make it without me" Gwen blinks "wait...does that mean you still wanna help us?" She asks as he sighs "I'm saying I made a promise...I'm following this through to the end"
Ben looks and puts his hand out and Gwen puts hers on it and Kevin smiles softly and puts his on hers and Ben looks "...it's hero time"
Kevin smiles "there's the phrase I remember, since the omnitrix is in the red I'll drive you both home, school is tomorrow"
Gwen nods and they get in and go home
hours later*
Ben slowly walks into his math class physically and mentally exhausted and sits down trying to not fall asleep "nice watch, is it new?" A girl asks and he blinks looking around until he spots the Asian American girl who sits next to him staring at him and he nods slowly
She smiles softly "get it at a mall?" She asks softly and he shrugs nervously not used to people that weren't bully's talking to him and she frowns "been meaning to ask are you alright? You never speak and we've been in the same class for a few months now"
Ben frowns and she looks "shy? Guess I can understand, when I first started playing tennis my nerves were always shot" Ben raises an eyebrow and she smiles "oh I play tennis occasionally...wanna invite to my next game? It's free to watch"
Ben thinks for a second then shrugs and nods since getting to know someone might help his mentally and she smiles "cool, it's near the park after school, if you have friends you can invite them to"
Ben nods slowly and softly smiles, maybe he just got a new friend, probably not though considering his tennyson luck
After school he invited Gwen and she invited Kevin so they could get to know him and he decided to join since he had nothing better to do
The girl noticed him and smiles and waved softly and Gwen noticed "so why'd you decide to come here? Actually trying to interact with people?" She asks as Ben looks at her in confusion and she chuckles "just happy you seem to be trying to make a friend"
Eventually the girl he now knows is Julie from the scoreboard wins the game and he claps softly as Gwen smiles and decides to walk up to the girl "congratulations" she says and Julie looks "thanks, you know the boy in the green jacket?"
Gwen nods "his names Ben, he's my cousin, I'm shocked he interacted with you and even watched you game, he hasn't talked to anyone in awhile"
Julie nods sadly "I've noticed, he never speaks in class yet he seems like he's nice, wonder what happened to make him so shy"
Gwen mentally cringes but shrugs as Julie frowns "well I hope he's alright, oh I know when I go to school and hand him a note pad so we can talk"
Gwen thinks for a second "that might actually work, he does text normally and doesn't seem shy when he does"
Julie smiles softly "that's good, maybe I can be his friend, he always seemed nice at least to people that aren't jt and cash..."
Gwen frowns "they still bully him? When will they grow up?" Julie shrugs "don't know, all I know is a lot of people are sick of them, they aren't even scary when when your alone with them..."
Kevin walks up "hey are we going or am I gonna have to leave without you?" He says annoyed and Gwen sighs "fine, let's go, see you later Julie"
Julie smiles and waves goodbye as the three leave and Kevin sighs "I don't understand the appeal of tennis, you just wack a ball over and over" he says as they get in his car and drive away
Ben frowns and sighs then suddenly they hear a beeping from Kevins pocket "call?" Gwen asks and Kevin frowns "I don't have a smartphone, or a cellphone for that matter..."
She reaches in "your plumbers badge? What's it doing?" Kevin looks over "seems to be a message, or an sos...might be gramps or a plumbers kid"
Ben raises a eyebrow and Kevin sighs "plumbers give their kids badges if their part alien so they don't get accidentally deported, it's better than a passport"
They nod and eventually find a hole in the side of a building with the words ice on them, the hole seemed to have been burned open with extreme heat and Kevin frowns "unless gramps had a level 4 blaster or fire sword on him this was something else...something dangerously hot"
Gwen frowns "I don't remember any of his plumber gear being extremely hot, at least when fired, the strongest blaster he had wasn't that wide either..."
They enter it and see a plumbers badge on a table and Gwen frowns "it's been abandoned..." she says craving it and Kevin frowns "most plumbers won't lose their badge unless it's important, definitely a kid..."
Gwen frowns "think someone found out he was half alien and got scared?"
Kevin nods and looks around than at Ben "hey go have fun with your girl friend, me and Gwen can handle this"
Ben blushes madly
