May Zedong-

Weapon: Sharp Aim: sniper rifle/ax with an ax blade on the underside of the stock.
Personality/History: When you think of the boys of Team BRNZ, what comes to mind is that even from a crowd of their peers in Shade. They somehow can stand out. You would think the same for the only female on the team. But the shy sniper doesn't stand out that much at all.
May was raised in northern Vacuo by her two dads. She was the only daughter of six kids with five older brothers. Even though this was Vacuo, the Zedong family was caring. Maybe a little too much.
May's family was a bit overprotective of her when she was younger. Growing up, she had a hard time making friends. What also didn't help was that her brothers threatened bodily harm to anyone who hurt her. At first, it was cool that she had her squad of bodyguards. But, it quickly became annoying when she got older.
One thing that gave her some fulfillment was hunting. Due to her family living far from the nearest village, the Zedongs got most of their food the old fashion way. According to her dads, May's the best sharpshooter in their family. But, with her Sniper rifle, she was a force to be reckoned with, saying she inherited her talent from her grandparents. They were the snipers defending the Vacuain border during the Great War.
After helping some passing Huntsmen take out several Grimms during an attack, she's inspired to become one herself. But this part of her life almost ended in tragedy.
During a mission to clear out some Grimm from a village. May didn't realize a Death Stalker was approaching from the south, and her roost was the closest. The Stalker took her by surprise, almost tearing May to shreds, and left her in critical condition. May's screams signaled her team, and they took down the Stalker. Particularly Brawnz by embedding his claws in the creature's head, using his semblance, and blowing it apart. In the aftermath, May was rushed to the infirmary and laid up for almost a month. Though she made a full recovery, she ended up losing her sight in her left eye.
May was depressed and had trouble adjusting to her new lack of depth perception. Her lowest point came when she overheard some Huntsmen suggesting to her team about replacing her, saying she'll hold them back. But to her surprise, the guys refused and vowed to prove it. With her team and her family's help, May regained her lost skill and confidence. Proving she won't hold her team back. Just for safety, she added a retractable axeblade to Sharp Aim's stock in case of more surprise attacks.
Hobbies: Shooting games, animal watching, and Hunting
Semblance: "Fumetsu no Kusaragi aka. Immortal Chain'' May get a good look at any living thing. She can take possession of its motor controls and make them stand still or attack its comrades. She can affect anything 30 feet from May. (Based on the Semblance given to her by ArcofUA in SugerCrash.) It's also what I think it can do from what Arc described. It might change with more info.

Ok, May was fun to write. I see why she gets more attention then her teammates.
You know, The way this May losing her eye is based on how she lost it in one fic I read. In the comments of said fic they mentions how having May have lose her eye when she was little is cliched. So having her go through this while part of her team would help bring them together. Closer than most teams at Shade.
