ATM: Seth and the God Girls – The Black Tower
Seth and the God Girls suspect that the dark force surrounding WWE HQ has something to do with Stephanie McMahon but ATM rally around the DX family knowing that it was worse than Shawn and Hunter expected.
Chapter Twenty Five – Locked Out
Greenwich, Connecticut
At an auditorium nearby, Cheyenne Michelle along with Jeff Hardy and Aurora Rose Helmsley took up space in the empty building, while everyone had been told by law enforcement to go home and stay out of downtown Greenwich. Bray Wyatt had caused havoc by causing his underground tunnel to cause a semi earthquake and downtown was a mess.
That certainly wasn't the worst thing that was about to happen in Greenwich as Cheyenne, Aurora and Jeff Hardy were about to find out.
"Play Cheyenne!" Jeff Hardy said and he ran outside the auditorium and waited for the snake to return. As expected, Cheyenne's musical skills attracted the evil snake back to the surface. No-one was around to see it but Jeff and he knew just how to handle it.
"Return to your normal size and return to your family!" Jeff commanded the snake and the creature convulsed and violently wretched. Jeff covered his face as the snake vomited up the bodies of strangers that had been in its belly.
"Oh my God," Jeff said recognizing some of the people and he called water from Heaven and washed them clean with it as the snake returned to its normal size and slithered away back to its family.
The water washed the stomach acids from off the of the bodies of Finn Balor, Kenny Omega and Kendrick Alexander and some of the professors that had been mauled by a demonic Ra-Ra. Aurora ran out of the auditorium to see what was going on and when she saw Miss Alexander she flew towards Jeff in a hurry.
"We have to get her out of here, she's been with Bray Wyatt, if she gets anywhere near us she could contaminate our spirits the way Bray contaminated her," Aurora said as Miss Alexander, Finn and Omega stood to their feet.
"Its too late for that Aurora Rose Helmsley," Miss Alexander called up to Hunter and Stephanie's daughter, "we're not going anywhere and neither are you,"
Aurora realised that Miss Alexander had contaminated Balor and Omega and most likely the professors with her.
"We need to get back to Cheyenne, back to the auditorium now!" Aurora said and she flew with Jeff back into the auditorium where Cheyenne was playing and locked themselves in. They went to Cheyenne who was still playing beautifully but when she saw them she stopped playing.
"What's wrong, did you handle the snake?" Cheyenne asked them.
"The snake's long gone but now we got another problem," Aurora said.
"The snake swallowed Miss Alexander, Finn Balor and Kenny Omega and some Harvard professors and we think they've all been infected by Bray Wyatt's poison. Bray Wyatt's like a zombie bite; once he hits you with that Mandible Claw you become just like him,"
Cheyenne realised what they were saying, "So we can't let them in here or they might infect us," she said.
"There's a chance they won't be able to infect us because we're DX kids but that's not going to stop them from trying to get in here. Miss Alexander knows we've got DX jewels but what she doesn't know is that I gave my jewels to ATM," Aurora said.
"So did I," Cheyenne said. "So they'll be wasting their time if they come after us,"
A loud bang came from outside and Aurora turned to the sound of Miss Alexander, Finn Balor and Kenny Omega trying to get inside.
"I think they want to hurt us and send a message to our family, use us as bait to get ATM to turn over the DX family jewels to them," Aurora said and Cheyenne's jaw tightened.
"They can't hurt us Aurora; we're DX kids. Its been a long-time but I think we're going to have to go out there and kick some a**," Cheyenne said. "I'll use my Incredible Strength, Ro, you can use your weather power and Jeff you can fly us outta here when we're done fighting,"
Jeff Hardy shook his head, "We can't leave, if we leave, Miss Alexander will infect the whole city. She's already infected her fellow Harvard professors. Bray Wyatt is using that tunnel to fill people with poison so that he can control their minds. If we leave we'll abandon the people of Greenwich and Bray will have complete control over Connecticut, that's what he wants isn't it? He wants to take over Connecticut o that he can control WWE from the base! By tomorrow everyone here will be under his control so we can't leave, we're Christians, we have to fight back and that means, locking Miss Alexander, Finn and Kenny in here so they can't escape until we get help from ATM,"
"Sounds like a plan to me, do you have anymore of that Beauty Sleep tea from Alexa Bliss? We can put them all to sleep until ATM get here," Cheyenne said.
"We don't need that stuff you can put them to sleep with your music, it's a spiritual weapon," Aurora said and the banging from outside got louder. "Play Chey, Jeff and I will fight them down until they surrender to your music!"
Cheyenne sat up straight and played her heart out while Aurora and Jeff Hardy ran towards the auditorium doors and pulled them open.
"In the words of my friend Sting – IT'S SHOWTIME!" Jeff Hardy cried as Miss Alexander, Finn Balor, Kenny Omega attacked him and Aurora. Jeff locked them in so that nobody could get inside. As Cheyenne's music thundered from the piano, Jeff wrestled Finn and Omega while Aurora threw Miss Alexander against the auditorium walls with her weather power.
"Is it working, are they getting weaker?!" Cheyenne called out.
"Yes, keep playing!" Jeff called back as Finn and Kenny started to get tired.
"Its working, keep it up Chey!" Aurora added as Miss Alexander threw a punch that didn't land and instead she ended up on the floor, sound asleep. Finn Balor and Kenny Omega soon joined her with the Harvard professors and Jeff and Aurora grabbed Cheyenne and ran out of the auditorium, locking Finn, Kenny and Miss Alexander and her fellow Harvard professors inside the auditorium so they couldn't escape.
"Great job Chey now let's go to New York and tell everyone what happened before its too late!" Jeff said and they took flight and headed East to join ATM and the rest of the DX family.
Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York
Hunter and Shawn having not seen Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Charlotte, Becky or Alexa Bliss backstage came outside to find out where their top Superstars were. Seeing them in a standoff with Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon outside the building was not how they wanted this night to start. The show was about to start and the Superstars needed to be inside right now so Hunter and Shawn made their presence felt.
"This is going to have to wait, we've got a show to do," Hunter said to Shane and Bray Wyatt before turning to the Superstars, "I need you guys inside right now,"
The Superstars left and went inside. Sasha shared an uncomfortable look with Shane McMahon who smiled at her proudly.
"I'll see you after the show Sasha," he told her and Seth pulled his arm across Sasha protectively while Roman shot Shane and Bray Wyatt a warning look along with the God Girls.
Hunter articulated what they all wanted to say to them.
"If you go anywhere near Sasha, you're both dead," he said to Shane and Bray Wyatt.
"Now Hunter, let's not make empty threats. You might have been able to kill my father's legacy but you will never be able to kill me and you sure as Hell won't be able to kill Bray Wyatt," Shane bragged.
Shawn tapped Hunter on the shoulder, "Let's go, we've already given these two jerks way too much of our time. Let's go to work," he said and Shane snickered as DX turned to leave.
"Don't worry boys, I'll be running MSG soon and you can find a nice retirement spot somewhere underground. So enjoy your show at MSG, it will remind you of the good old days when you're reminiscing about the past. We'll be just fine and by-the-way Hunter, so will Sasha and Seth. They don't need you, they never did and it won't be long before they both realise that," Shane said but Shawn stopped Hunter from responding and motioned him towards the building without pause.
Shane's face hardened as DX left him with Bray, "Ready to take over the world?" Shane asked Bray Wyatt.
"I've been ready for years, DX have no idea what they've gotten themselves into," Bray Wyatt replied and Austin Theory approached them. "Remember what we talked about Theory, after the show, you go on your date with Carla McCool and follow through on the rest of the plan,"
"Yes sir, I'd do anything for a McMahon," Austin said before going inside and making sure no-one saw him taking to Shane McMahon.
Shane and Bray laughed together, "Once Austin infects Carla, getting those DX jewels will be like taking candy from a baby," Bray said confidently.
"Well, as long as that baby isn't my grandson Abiyah, that's one tough kid, I don't think I could take candy from him and if Roman Reigns thinks he's getting custody of my grandson he's got another thing coming. As far as I'm concerned, Abiyah Rollins is a McMahon and he will carry out our prestigious legacy,"
"Don't you worry about Roman, I'll take care of him. I know how to keep the Big Dog down," Bray Wyatt said and he stroked the head of Ra-Ra, the Rollins Arabian Oryx that was now under his control. "I have a Big Dog of my own,"
"That's a cat," Shane replied and Bray Wyatt laughed.
"When I'm done with him, you won't be able to tell the difference," Bray said and Ra-Ra growled as Wyatt's hypnotic poison coursed through its Arabian veins.
The DX family and ATM were about to face off with Shane and Bray Wyatt and it was going to make the MSG show look like a garden party. But like every party, there were bound to be a few uninvited guests show up and Edge and Stephanie McMahon were about to add some names to the guest list. There was already and article scheduled to go out about the McMahons and DX family tomorrow courtesy of the Damsels of Destruction, but what was about to happen was going to create a headline nobody saw coming.
Greenwich, Connecticut
The reporters reviewed the cover story for tomorrow's release, the photos sending chills down the editor-in-chief's spine.
"And we're one hundred percent sure this is happening over the auditorium, WWE HQ and the old McMahon family compound?" he asked his staff who had taken photos of all three buildings.
"Yes sir, all three buildings are connected to the DX family," the reporter replied. "Cheyenne Michelle, a world class musician, is daughter of Shawn Michaels, who works for the WWE with Hunter Hearst Hemsley, who lives at the old McMahon Compound, now called the Sandbox,"
The editor stared at the photos of the auditorium, WWE HQ and the Sandbox, as all three buildings were surrounded by some kind of black fog. Reports of the fog had come through earlier in the week but because it had disappeared, the media decided not to cover it. Now the black fog was back and it was not going away.
"We can't ignore this, the DX family has brought this blackness to our beloved city, we have to get rid of them and this article will ensure that the people of Connecticut turn against them. They will have no choice but to leave and take this black fog with them wherever they go!" the editor said and he looked out of the building as the black fog from the auditorium spread through the air, darkening the whole of Greenwich causing the residents to freak out.
"Wait-a-minute, what are the people doing?!" the reporter said as the people started to dig holes in the ground until the underground tunnel that Bray Wyatt had been occupying for months was exposed.
"They're all going underground!" the editor said as the people left the streets and went under the surface. "Where are they all going?!"
"I'll find out!" the reporter said grabbing his cell-phone but there was no connection. "The black fog must be cutting out phone signals,"
"What have DX done to our city?!" the editor said not knowing that DX weren't doing this. "Shawn Michaels and Triple H are going to pay for this. We need to get those McMahons back in power ASAP and after this article runs, I guarantee they will be!"
As the sky fell with black fog spreading all around, the time was fast approaching for ATM and the DX family to stop Shane and Bray Wyatt in their tracks. Once the story of the black fog and the underground tunnel from Greenwich, Connecticut reached the world, that was going to be easier said than done.
