Dean paced back and forth worrying about Cas' call. It was almost time for him to come home and he hadn't heard anything from his mate. He was about to call Cas when he heard keys in the doorknob.
"Cas!" Dean shouted and ran to the door and pulled his mate into a hug the second he saw him.
"Hello to you too." Cas chuckled but returned the hug.
"Are you hurt?" Dean asked and gave Cas the once over and let out a whimper when he saw the bandage around Cas' arm.
"Hey, I'm okay. I promise." Cas reassured him.
"Did you get shot?"
"No. I was blocking the robbers way out of the store so he tackled me and we went through the glass door." Cas explained.
"Oh my god!" Dean gasped and went to inspect Cas' arm.
Cas hissed and pulled away a little. "It still hurts babe, be careful."
"Sorry." Dean mumbled.
"It's alright, it's just a few stitches." Cas pulled Dean into another hug.
"Why do you have to be a cop." Dean whined and held Cas tighter.
"To protect you and others." Cas gave Dean a small squeeze and let him go. "Where's Henry?"
"Charlie took him for the night. She wanted a Henry sleepover."
"Oh. Okay."
"Is that alright?"
"Yeah, as long as Henry's okay with being away from us so soon."
"I'm expecting a call in the middle of the night." Dean shrugged.
"Let me go change then let's go get some food. I don't feel like cooking and I'm sure you don't either." Cas suggested.
"Alright, I'll be here."
They went to the next town over to an authentic Mexican restaurant they both like. "Cas, what's going to happen to Claire?"
"Oh, uh I think Amelia's parents are coming to get her tomorrow… Why?"
"I was just curious. I may have hated Amelia but I feel bad for Claire. She had no idea what was going on and she's probably so confused and devastated."
"Yeah. Poor thing."
"I want to do something for her." Dean said after a few minutes of silence.
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know… Can we set up like a trust fund for her or something? I mean I have plenty of money left from the settlement."
"I- that's very thoughtful of you Dean." Cas was taken back at the suggestion.
"Can we talk to Amelia's parents some how?"
"I can see if I can't arrange something at work tomorrow. How much are you wanting to put in this fund?"
"I don't know… Like $100,000? Then she can pull it on her 18th birthday."
"That sounds good. I'll set something up with her parents and let you know."
They enjoyed the rest of the evening and went for a little walk in the park next to the restaurant before going home. Once they were home they checked in on Charlie and Henry and locked up and shut lights off before heading up the stairs.
"So, about you going undercover… When do you leave?" Dean asked on the drive home.
"A few days after our cycle." Cas said quietly.
"That's like in 3 weeks!" Dean gasped.
"I know. If it wasn't I'd be leaving sooner." Cas explained.
"What happens if I don't get pregnant and you're gone and my heat starts?" Dean asked.
"I've already discussed that with the captain. He said if I am gone that long they will allow me to come home for that time but I'd probably have to go back when it's over."
"Then catch the son of a bitch." Dean frowned.
Cas let out a chuckle, "I'll try my hardest."
Dean was quiet the rest of the way home, his brain going through every possible scenario of what could happen.
"Dean?" Cas asked once they were home and upstairs.
"Hmm?"
"I can hear the gears turning in your head."
"I'm sorry. I'm just over thinking things as usual."
"It's going to be okay Dean." Cas reassured him for the hundredth time.
"I know but damn it what if something happens? I can't loose you Cas. I can't." Dean said and tears fell down his cheeks.
"Nothing is going to happen to me, or you, or Henry."
"Benny is going to be my 'inside man'. He's going to be able to relay things to me from home."
"I guess that makes me feel better." Dean sighed and sat on the edge of the bed Cas moving to sit next to him.
"It's going to be okay."
"Whatever you say." Dean sighed and rested his head on his mates shoulder.
"Novak, the captain wants to see you." Officer Barton relayed the message. Cas had been taken off patrol so no one would recognize him when he went undercover, hopefully.
Cas knocked on the captains door and poked his head in, "you wanted to see me sir?"
"Yes, come in." Cas closed the door and sat down.
"You leave in a few weeks, I want you to go up to the 3rd floor and talk to detective Meredith, and detective Shaw. They'll be your partners in this. I want you to meet with them every shift your on starting tomorrow until your leave. You guys need to get your cover story down and details down. No need to wear your uniform for the next few weeks."
"Oh, okay. Thank you sir."
"You're welcome. Have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow morning."
"Yes sir."
Cas grabbed his things and headed home. This was becoming more real to Cas now as it approached. He knew Dean was a nervous wreck and he was starting to get nervous himself. What
if something did happen. What if the guy he's looking for catches on and goes after his family? Is he making a huge mistake taking this on? Maybe, maybe not.
Cas pulled into the driveway next to Mary's car. The closer to the door he got the more he smelt whatever was cooking inside.
"Papa!" Henry yelled once Cas was through the door.
"Hey big guy!" Cas smiled and picked Henry up.
"Did you catch any bad guys today?" Henry asked and Cas let out a chuckle.
"No, not today."
"Darn. You'll get them tomorrow."
"Thanks for the pep talk buddy." Cas grinned and set Henry down in the dining room.
"Hey babe. Just in time." Dean smiled and pulled the last bit of fried chicken out of the pan.
"Good. I'm starving. It smells amazing."
"Go change by time you get back down everything should be ready."
Cas said hi to Mary and Sam as he made his way back through the dining room.
"He looks tired." Mary said quietly.
"He's stressing about the undercover job. He thinks he's hiding it but he's not. He's real restless at night." Dean explained as he started making gravy from the chicken drippings.
"You don't think he'll back out of this do you?" Sam asked.
"No. He's determined about finding this guy."
"Are you doing okay?" Mary asked.
Dean let out a sigh, "I have moments. I'm terrified about him going. I'm going to miss him so much when he's gone… We still haven't figured out what we're going to say to Henry."
"I'm sure you'll handle things well. Sam and I will be here to help you, as always." Mary said and gave Dean's arm a squeeze before she and Sam went to set the table.
Cas came back downstairs just as Dean put the gravy on the table.
"Smells so good." Cas groaned and gave Dean a quick kiss before sitting in his usual spot at the table.
"How was work?" Mary asked Cas.
"It was alright, I'm on desk duty for now until well you know." Cas said glancing over at Henry, who was focused on his chicken leg.
"That must make work days slow. I'd hate that." Sam frowned.
"It's not too bad actually. Sure I would much rather be out in the field, but I go where I'm told."
"I had someone give me an offer for the youth center today." Dean said after a few moments of silence.
"What? It's not even finished yet." Cas was the first to speak.
"I know. I don't even know who it was I just got an offer from some guy. He came into the building and looked around for a minute."
"How much did he offer?" Sam asked.
"About the same I paid for." Dean shrugged. "I told him it wasn't for sale."
"Was he upset?" Mary asked.
"No, I don't think so… He gave me his card and said 'in case you change your mind.'"
"That's weird." Sam mumbled.
"Very." Cas and Mary agreed.
"What about you Henry? How was your day?" Cas asked.
"It was good! I finded a frog outside and I played with Lucy at grandmas."
"What did you do with the frog?" Cas asked.
"I poked it with a stick and it hopped away." Henry frowned. "I wanted to keep it but daddy said no."
"Yeah, yeah. Mean daddy I know." Dean rolled his eyes and reached for more chicken.
They finished up dinner and got things cleaned up before Mary and Sam left for the night. "I'll see you guys soon. Love you." Mary said giving the boys a hug.
"Bye grandma, by Sammy." Henry said hugging their legs.
"Bye Henry." Mary and Sam laughed and ruffled his hair.
"Let me know if you need a ride to the Roadhouse tomorrow after school!" Dean yelled after Sam.
"I will!"
"What do you want to do now?" Cas asked scooping his son up and hanging him upside down by his feet.
Henry yelled and giggled. "Put me down!"
"I want to do things that aren't suitable to do in front of our son." Dean said so suddenly that Cas almost dropped Henry on his head.
"Papa!" Henry shouted.
"Sorry buddy." Cas apologized and set him down and cleared his throat, "what kind of things?"
"Things that we did to make him." Dean whispered and pointed to their son who was now jumping on the couch.
"Ahah. I'm sure that can be arranged but we can't leave him unattended." Cas said shifting from foot to foot.
"Well of course not. I say we tire him out as soon as possible so he'll sleep hard." Dean said getting closer to his mate and leaving a trail of kisses along Cas' neck.
"Dean. You need to stop other wise we are going to seriously scar our child." Cas groaned.
"But you taste good." Dean whined and licked Cas' jaw.
"Okay! Pillow fight!" Cas yelled and practically ran from Dean and fake tackled Henry.
Henry giggle/screamed and hit Cas to get him off. "Papa you squishing me!"
Cas was about to apologize when a pillow smacked him on the side of the head. "Ow, Dean."
"You said pillow fight." Dean shrugged and swung at Cas again. Then more gently hit Henry with it.
"It's on!" Cas play growled and hit Dean back with another pillow while Henry ran to get the smaller pillow he uses when he lays on the floor and when to hit his papa and daddy in the legs. They aran around the living room for about an hour and half before Henry called it quits.
"Daddy I tired." he whined.
"Okay buddy let's get you ready for bed." Dean picked Henry up and thew a wink in Cas' direction.
"No I want papa."
"Okay, papa can do it, but I want my hug and kiss." Dean said.
"Night night daddy, I love you." Henry said and gave Dean a big hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"I love you too. I'll see you in the morning."
As soon as Cas took Henry, Dean went to freshen up in their bathroom. He thought about laying naked on the bed but then remembered that he bought new panties. He quickly put them on and crawled to the center of the bed.
"He's out. He was asleep before-" Cas stopped mid sentence once he noticed Dean on the bed. Especially what Dean was wearing. "New underwear?"
"Uh huh." Dean grinned. He had ordered these online. They were a deep green that was see through along the hips and along the butt but had the top connected with a criss cross pattern of ribbon. "Do you like them?"
"Very much so." Cas said still staring.
"Then why are you over there and still dressed?" Dean asked rolling over and waved his butt in the air.
"Good question." Cas said quickly stripping his clothes and making his way to the bed. Dean rolled back over onto his back, his cock already stretching against the fabric.
"You're so fucking hot." Cas groaned and dove in for a kiss. They made out for a little bit exploring each others bodies and slowly grinding their hips together.
"More Cas. More." Dean whimpered.
"As you wish." Cas responded and left a trail of kisses down Dean's chest and stomach stopping at the top of the panties. "I won't rip these ones. I promise." Cas chuckled and nipped at Dean's hip bone before slowly pulling them down his legs. Cas tossed them over his shoulder and started kissing back up Dean's legs, leaving bites on his thighs he kissed around Dean's dick teasing his mate a little bit before taking him in his mouth.
"Oh fuck." Dean gasped and gripped the bed sheets.
"I want you to come from this, then from me opening you up and then once or twice on my cock."
"Oh my god." Dean groaned and bucked up into Cas' hand.
"Is that a green?"
"So green." Dean huffed.
"Good." Cas went back to work while Dean whimpered above him.
"Fuck I'm close already." Dean whined.
"Then come. You have more orgasms coming."
"Shit. Shit, shit shit!" Dean panted and came down Cas' throat.
"That's one." Cas grinned and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand.
"Give me a second." Dean gasped and Cas just sat back and slowly stroked his cock.
"Wanna suck your cock." Dean said moving to his knees.
"After you come again and you're open." Cas said and directed Dean to move so his ass was up in the air. Dean was dripping with slick so Cas licked a long stripe picking up as much slick as he could with his tongue.
Dean moaned and pushed against Cas' tongue. "You taste so fucking good." Cas moaned and slowly pushed a finger in along with his tongue.
"Fuck! Yes Cas more." Dean moaned and gasped when Cas' hand landed on his cheek.
"Quiet." Cas growled. "I only want to hear whimpers and moans unless I ask you a question."
"Yes sir." Dean moaned and arched his back giving Cas more access.
Dean was a whimpering mess by time Cas had three fingers in. "You wanna come?" Cas asked smacking Dean's ass.
"Yes! Please!" Dean begged.
"Then come." Cas growled and instantly found Dean's prostrate.
"Yes!" Dean practically shouted and came for the second time.
Cas flipped Dean around and got him up before shoving his cock into Dean's mouth. Dean happily went along with it only to push Cas back a little bit when he got too rough. "Sorry." Cas mumbled and Dean just waved him off. Cas pushed Dean back and asked him if he wanted to present or if he wanted to be on his back.
"Back. My knees are hurting." Dean rasped and moved up the bed with Cas following. Once they were situated Cas lined up and slowly pushed in.
"Now you take it slow?" Dean teased.
"Just you wait." Cas huffed. He slowly pushed in and out a few times before setting a brutal pace.
"Oh my god." Dean moaned and hooked his ankles around Cas' waist and clung to his arms.
"Got one more in you?" Cas huffed after a while.
"Uh huh. Gonna come." Dean moaned.
"Good. I'm close too." Cas grunted. "I'm going to flip you over." Cas warned before pulling out and flipping Dean over and pushing back in.
"Please. I gotta come Cas." Dean begged.
"Come baby. I'm right behind you." Cas groaned pushing his knot in and locking them in place.
"It's been a while since it's been like that." Dean said once they were able to catch their breath and relax.
"Sorry. Was it too much?" Cas asked.
"No. It was good." Dean reassured his mate.
"Okay. Good." Cas yawned.
Dean fell asleep almost instantly but Cas stayed awake until his knot went down. He carefully pulled out and snuck off to the bathroom and drew a hot bath. Once it was full enough he gently woke up Dean.
"Dean. Come on, we need to get cleaned up." Cas whispered as he shook his mate's shoulder.
"No. Go 'way." Dean mumbled.
"I've got a bath ready I'll do everything, you can just relax."
Dean sighed and lifted his arms indicating Cas to pick him up.
"Now I know where Henry gets it." Cas chuckled and picked Dean up bridal style.
"You're too good to me Castiel Novak." Dean whispered.
"I beg to differ. And it's soon to be Castiel Winchester thank you very much."
"Mhm." Dean grinned and placed a soft kiss on Cas' neck.
As promised Cas carefully washed Dean off and let him sleep lightly against his chest. "Do I need to dry you off too?" Cas teased.
"No, I can do it. You need to clean up as well. I'm going to switch the sheets real quick." Dean said and laid there for a few more minutes before getting out. Cas joined him right as Dean finished making the bed. They got under the covers and both were out instantly.
