Varie was in the Simulator doing an exercise.
J.D., Aylene, Lincoln & Linka, Laney, Lisa, Lily, Sakura, Fu, Ino, Minato, Kushina, Naruto, and Naruko were in the control room.
When the Simulator was activated, Varie found herself in the Leaf during the reign of the 3rd Hokage, while Kushina was in the Academy.
"The Leaf was not very big back then," Varie said. "I hope I can find Kushina and help out."
Varie was at the Academy when she noticed a group of kids tease a young Kushina through the window.
"Tomato!" shouts one kid, "That's your new name!"
"From now on, your name is Tomato!" shouts another kid.
Varie was appalled by those kids' immaturity. "Some kids are so stupid."
Kushina was furious and grabbed a kid. "Who are you calling, Tomato? Now you listen here, I hate tomatoes just as much as you ya know!"
She tossed the boy around like a rag doll before pulverizing more boys.
"Whoa," yelled Varie. "Kushina sure has an explosive temper. I got to help her."
Hours later, Kushina was running through a forest of Cherry Blossom Trees, facing a Genin, and his little brother was one of the boys she beat up.
Varie swooped in from nowhere and slashed the Genin apart, killing him. She gave the boy a nasty glare. "You'd better run if you don't want to end up like him."
In fear, the boy screamed and ran.
"What a wuss," Varie remarked.
Varie looked at Kushina and extended her hand to her. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah," Kushina answered. "I'm all right."
"You must not like it when they treat you like that," Varie observed.
"No, I don't," Kushina replied.
"I'm going to help you," Varie declared. "I'll explain everything along the way."
Varie opened a portal that led into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
In less than 36 hours, Varie trained Kushina in everything she knew and more. Kushina grew more powerful at an accelerated rate. When it was finished, Kushina was forever changed. She had red angel wings, long red hair, a more muscular build, fox ears, and nine flaming fox tails. She carries a powerful sword on her left hip, knows Ki, Spirit Energy, and numerous Jutsu, and has infinite Chakra. Her outfit has been changed to a red battle dress, green ANBU pants, and black shoes.
"Kushina, you look incredible," Varie remarked.
"Yes," Kushina replied. "It was all thanks to you, Varie. Let's go destroy this Sasuke in the future."
"With pleasure," Varie responded.
A portal appeared, leading to the moment Naruto, Shikamaru, Choji, Kiba & Akamaru, and Neji was about to leave to retrieve Sasuke. With them was Satsuki Uchiha, Sasuke's twin sister.
"Let's go," Varie commanded.
Varie and Kushina jumped through the portal and landed next to them.
"Who are you two?" Naruto asked.
"Some friends," Varie said, snapping her fingers.
Naruto changed in an instant. He was much stronger than before, and he had Fox Ears, Orange Angel Wings, 9 Flaming Fox Tails, black and orange clothes, and an IQ that was higher than that of a Nara. He even had the physique and strength of a god.
Naruto declared, "I feel incredible. I now know why my parents did what they did. Kushina, you are my mother from a long time ago."
"Yes, Naruto," Kushina acknowledged.
Kiba was shocked. "What!? Naruto this woman is your mother!?"
"Yes," Naruto replied. "She's my mother from her days at the Academy. My real name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, and I am the son of Minato Namikaze, the 4th Hokage, and Kushina Uzumaki, the Red Death. My parents made the ultimate sacrifice to save the village from the 9-Tails. They were actually forced to sacrifice themselves due to a rogue Uchiha. The entire Uchiha clan minus Satsuki and Mikoto are to blame for my parents' deaths. The Uchiha are nothing but a bunch of selfish, greedy, thieving monsters that only care about power and their delusional ambitions to destroy the world."
"Naruto, that's horrible!" cried Neji.
"How can the Uchiha be that evil!?" Choji questioned.
"They just are," Satsuki explained. "I may be an Uchiha, but I am not easily lured into darkness. To be honest, I despise everything my clan has done. It's been poisoned with evil since the time of the Sage of the Six Paths."
"That's insane," Kiba exclaimed. "The Uchiha is a clan that's been driven to extinction."
"That's right, Kiba," Varie answered. "The Uchiha are a menace to the entire world. Satsuki and Mikoto are the only two exceptions."
"Yes," Naruto responded.
"Mikoto was my best friend, and the Uchiha's actions and evil took her away from me," Kushina explained.
"I know," Satsuki admitted. "I'll never be able to forgive them for that."
"Well, let's head out," Varie suggested.
"Wait!" yelled Sakura.
Sakura had arrived. "Wait. Naruto, you've got to know something."
"Lady Hokage told us everything," Shikamaru explained. "I'm sorry, Sakura, but I can't take you on this mission. I know you tried, but even you couldn't convince Sasuke, could you?"
"I'm sorry, Sakura, but Sasuke is now a Rogue Ninja and a danger to all of us," Naruto explained.
"We have no choice but to force Sasuke to come back dead or alive," Varie explained.
Satsuki reacted by saying, "So be it if we have to fight my brother.
"I'm sorry, but there isn't anything else you can do for him," Shikamaru explained.
"I'm sorry, Sakura," Varie said, "but he went to Orochimaru of his own free will, and for that, he must answer for his crimes."
Sakura was crying.
"Poor girl," Kushina uttered.
Sakura was in tears. "Naruto, this is a once-in-a-lifetime request. Simply bring him home. Please bring Sasuke back to me! I did everything I could. I tried, but I couldn't stop him from leaving the village. At this point, only one person can stop him. There is only one person who can save him. It's all up to you, Naruto."
"I can't let Sakura keep living this lie," Varie said in her head, "Those words will forever haunt me and my family for many generations to come." She commanded Naruto telepathically, "Naruto you have to help her."
"I know, Varie," Naruto replied, telepathically.
Naruto walks up to Sakura. "Sakura, I know you care about Sasuke, but your love for him is a lie. Let me show you."
Naruto places his hand on her forehead and shows her everything he has done for her. He saved her from bullies, transformed into Sasuke and complimented her on her forehead, saved her from Gaara's rampage, and saved her from drowning in the Land of Tea, among other things.
Sakura was shocked. "Was that all you, Naruto?"
"I love you Sakura," Naruto uttered. "I love you more than life itself, and I will never give up on you because you are the most beautiful, smart, and amazing girl I've ever known. I've never thought of you as a useless girl, and I believe you're an incredible kunoichi with the potential to be the most powerful girl in the world."
Sakura was stunned to hear all of this and burst into tears as she hugged Naruto. "Naruto! I love you! Thank you for helping me in opening my eyes! Sasuke is a monster! He is evil!"
"You're welcome, Sakura," Naruto replied. "I'll be back. I promise."
"You'd better be back soon," Sakura warned. "I'll make you a Ramen feast."
Naruto smiled and kissed her on the forehead. "I've always wanted to do that. I'll be back."
Naruto returned to the team, ready. "Let's go."
"Let's roll!" Varie ordered.
Varie, Kushina, and Naruto spread their wings and flared their auras, and everyone took off. Sakura stood there watching as they left.
Sasuke was in a barrel, and the Sound 4 had strengthened his Curse Mark.
Varie and Kushina smashed through the roof of the Sound 4's cabin, grabbed the barrel, and flew out.
"So long suckers!" Varie yelled.
Naruto arranged his hands in a triangle. "TRI-BEAM!"
A yellow blast of Ki fired from his hands and exploded with incredible power.
The explosion could be seen from the Leaf.
When the smoke cleared, all that remained of the cabin was a smoldering crater.
"Is that it for them?" Shikamaru asked.
"Yes, their energy signals have vanished," Varie confirmed. "Let's go."
They flew back to the Leaf in a hurry. When they arrived at a field, they were stopped by Kimimaro Kaguya, the last surviving member of the Kaguya Clan.
"Kimimaro Kaguya, I presume?" Varie asked.
"That's correct," Kimimaro replied.
"I've heard a lot about the Kaguya Clan," Kushina explained. "They can change and use their bones as weapons by channeling their Chakra into them. They were a savage and fierce battle-hungry and war-loving clan who tried to show off their ferocity by attacking the Mist. But they were completely outmatched, and they were all eliminated."
"That is crazy," Kiba replied. "I had no idea a clan like that even existed."
"That does sound crazy," Naruto commented.
"You all heard right," Kimimaro replied. "My clan was savage and barbaric. We enjoyed every second of the fight. But I only fight when it's absolutely necessary." He coughs violently.
"Oh man!" cried Varie. "That cough doesn't sound good. Are you all right?"
Twenty seconds later, Kimimaro stops coughing. "I have a terminal disease that is attacking my lungs."
"Let me see if I can help," Varie offered.
Varie sends a wave of water at him, engulfing him in a ball of water, and she discovers a disturbing and sickening source.
"Oh man," Varie exclaimed, "Orochimaru injected him with a lethal poison that is slowly destroying him."
"Orochimaru poisoned him!" Kiba exclaimed, shocked.
"Yeah," Varie replied. "I'm going to get it out of him."
Varie made the water pull out a strange purple liquid, then she took out a jar, let the poison fly into it, and sealed it.
"There. Now to heal him."
Varie's water healed Kimimaro completely, and when it splashed back down, Kimimaro was on the ground.
Kimimaro got up and he can breathe right again. "I, I can breathe again! How did you do that!?"
"Water is an extremely powerful and purifying force," Varie explained. "I found this in you." She hands him the jar. That was not a disease you had. It was a lethal poison that was destroying you. You would have died in less than an hour if I hadn't gotten it out of you."
"That's some deadly stuff," Naruto noticed. "Kimimaro, how long have you been sick with this?"
"Probably two years," Kimimaro estimated. "But I am forever in your debt and I will go with you to the Leaf and tell you everything you want to know about Orochimaru."
"You will?" Kiba asked.
"Yes," Kimimaro responded. "After finding out that I've been poisoned by Orochimaru, I'll gladly sell him out and tell you everything."
"We greatly appreciate that Kimimaro," Satsuki replied.
"Yeah," Choji agreed. "Thank you."
"Uh, we have bigger problems," Kushina says, pointing to something. "Look!"
They all notice that the barrel Sasuke was in was shaking, and it burst open, releasing a purple light and purple smoke, and out came Sasuke, who was laughing maniacally.
Sasuke made a break for it.
"He's getting away!" shouted Varie. "After him!"
They all pursued him, and 45 minutes later they arrived at the Final Valley.
"The Final Valley," Naruto explained. "The very spot where our village's founding fathers, Hashirama Senju the 1st Hokage and Madara Uchiha, fought with everything they had."
Kiba remarked, "I never imagined we'd be fighting Sasuke here.
"Yeah," Kushina agreed.
"I've never been here before," Neji admitted.
"There!" says Varie, pointing at something.
They notice Sasuke standing on Madara Uchiha's statue.
"That's him all right," Naruto confirmed.
"Leave this to me," Varie commanded. "If things go south, I want all of you to help out."
Kushina nodded. "Right."
"You got it," Naruto replied.
Varie flew over and confronted Sasuke. "Sasuke! Where do you think you're going?"
When Sasuke turned around, Varie noticed that he had black flame marks on his face and that his left eye had a black sclera and a yellow iris.
"What are you doing here, girl?" Sasuke asked.
"We've been sent to bring you back," Varie explained.
Sasuke noticed Kushina, Naruto, Shikamaru, Kiba, Choji, Neji, Satsuki, and Kimimaro hiding in the trees.
"She sent you all, huh? Like I already told Sakura, It's over. Just leave me alone."
Varie didn't show any emotion.
Sasuke chuckles maliciously. "Look at yourself. You look like you're ready to snap."
"I'm not intimidated by your taunts," Varie retorted. "You're just a bunch of talk, and that shows you're nothing but a true coward."
When she said that, Sasuke was angered. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?!"
Then Varie answered, "You heard me. Sasuke, I don't understand you. Why are you leaving the Leaf? It is your home."
"Why should you care what I do?" Sasuke questioned. "It is my concern, not yours. I have my own path to follow now, and neither you nor anyone else can steer me from it. I'll tell you this much: my days of playing ninja with you kids at the Leaf Village are over."
"You're overconfident, Sasuke, and that'll be your undoing," Varie warned.
When Sasuke turned around, Varie teleported and punched him in the face, sending him violently splashing into the water.
Sasuke came to the surface, furious.
"You're a coward who just runs away from his problems, and that is a sign of a truly powerless fighter," Varie continued. "You're just as pathetic as the rest of your clan was when Itachi killed them."
When Sasuke heard that, he became enraged and jumped out of the water, landing next to Varie and attempting to punch and kick Varie. But she deflected all of his blows, punching him in the stomach with great force, kicking him in the face, and sending him crashing into a nearby wall.
As soon as Sasuke stood up, Varie fired an energy blast at him, which caused the wall to explode with incredible force.
When the smoke cleared, Sasuke was considerably weakened and severely burned. His bones were protruding from his legs. Sasuke was suffering from severe, agonizing pain.
Varie landed next to him, and he looked at her with rage.
"What a waste of my time," Varie added. "Let's go, Sasuke. It's time to answer for your crimes."
Varie bound him in water and restrained him.
One hour later, they returned to the Leaf, dropped Sasuke off at the hospital, and filed their report at the Hokage's office.
Not a single detail was missed.
"I see," Lady Tsunade responded. "Good job to all of you. Kushina, it's great to have you back."
"It's good to be home, Tsunade," Kushina replied.
"I hope Sasuke gets what's coming to him," Kiba said.
"I have a feeling he will," Shizune predicted. "Sasuke is now an S-Rank Traitor, and he will be severely punished."
"I'm glad," Varie remarked. "But we also have some matters concerning the council. Primarily, the Civilian Council and Danzo, Koharu, and Homura."
Varie went over what's been happening over the last 13 years and Lady Tsunade was outraged.
"This is unacceptable!" screamed Lady Tsunade. "ANBU! Call a council meeting. It's time I set everything straight."
Lady Tsunade summoned the Civilian Council and executed Danzo, Koharu, Homura, and the entire Civilian Council for treason. Mebuki, Sakura's mother, was spared because she had no involvement in their crimes. Danzo referred to the entire village's shinobi as a cancer that needed to be eradicated, and he claimed that everything he had done was for the good of the village. But no one believed him. Koharu and Homura revealed that they were the true masterminds behind the destruction of the Hidden Eddie Village, manipulating the Rock, Mist, and Cloud villages into launching the joint attack that resulted in its destruction and the scattering of the Uzumaki Clan. This horrified and outraged the people of the Leaf, and Danzo, Koharu, and Homura were named the ENEMIES OF THE 5 GREAT NATIONS, the ultimate traitors and threats to the entire planet.
Varie, Naruto, Kushina, and the Genin were named the ultimate heroes of the Five Great Nations and received the Land of Fire's highest honor: the Emerald Star of the Will of Fire.
After training Sakura, Naruto, Ino, Kushina, Tenten, Hinata, and others, Varie joined the Leaf with the Leaf Village on Lake St. Clair. Satsuki, along with the young Kushina, was now one of Naruto's wives. Sasuke was now completely paralyzed, and his shinobi career was over. The Evil Sasuke is now confined to a wheelchair for the remainder of his life, and he has been subjected to a variety of humiliating pranks and more. Evil Sasuke Uchiha was now the ultimate laughingstock of the Leaf Village.
The exercise ended and Varie received a hero's welcome, and the group entered the kitchen for a snack.
