Miles away on a place called Duel Academy.

A spy is keeping an eye on some corruption on the island in the Staff quarters. One person caught his eye and it was Dr. Vellian Crowler. He was going through all of his files when he came across a nasty scheme.

"So he wants to get Jaden and Syrus expelled just because he's a sore loser? I'd better call the boss."

4:45 AM. J.D's Mansion.

J.D. was sound asleep at his mansion when his laptop buzzed.

"Huh?" J.D. uttered groggily.

He notices that his laptop is buzzing. "I wonder what's up."

When he pressed a button, it was his friend Charlie Nottingham who answered. Charlie is a friend of his from computer club and he is a master in spying and espionage for good.

"I found some disturbing information on a man here at Duel Academy," Charlie explained.

"What have you got, Charlie?" J.D. asked.

"He kidnapped Alexis Rhodes, and Jaden was able to defeat her captor in a duel at the Abandoned Dorm and rescue her. But I found out that Dr. Vellian Crowler is planning to frame both him and Cyrus for the crime and get them expelled for it."

"Good work, Charlie," J.D. replied. "You go tell Alexis and Bastion and wait for further instructions. I'll send you more information as soon as I get it."

"You've got it, boss," Charlie replied.

As soon as the screen he was using to make the call went dark, J.D. entered Duel Academy's security system and combed through the island's past twelve hours' worth of security footage. He hit pay dirt.

"Bingo."

He forwarded the information to Charlie.

Duel Academy

Charlie received the information and proceeded to the Obelisk Blue Girls Dorm. He knocked on Alexis' door.

Alexis answered it. "Yes?"

"Alexis, I'm sorry to bother you, but your friends Jaden and Cyrus are in big trouble," Charlie explained.

"What's up, Charlie?" Alexis asked.

"Dr. Crowler is behind your abduction in the abandoned dorm and plans to frame Jaden and Syrus for it," Charlie explained.

Alexis gasped. "That's crazy!"

Charlie nodded in agreement. "Yeah. He wants to get them expelled because he is a sore loser. He also sent that fake love letter to Syrus, telling him to meet him here."

"I knew there was something bad about that man!" Alexis remarked. "Thank you for telling me. I'll go get ready, and then we'll go to the office."

Charlie said, "Okay." "Just to tell you. I am a spy that was planted in here by my boss and one of my best friends J.D. Knudson."

"J.D. Knudson?" Alexis asked. "The world's most famous billionaire hero?"

"That's right," Charlie replied. "I'll explain everything."

8:00 AM.

In the duel auditorium, Charlie, Bastion, and Alexis were watching Jaden and Syrus's duel against the Paradox Brothers.

"Are you sure Crowler is behind all of this, Charlie?" Bastion asked quietly.

"Yes Bastion," said Charlie in a low voice. Through a radio watch, he communicates with J.D. "Boss, are you here?"

"I'm right across from you," J.D. explained.

J.D. winks at Charlie when he notices him.

"Roger that," Charlie stated. "When it's Jaden's turn, we reveal everything."

"Copy that," J.D. replied.

When it was Jaden's turn, J.D. stood up. "STTOOOOPPP!" he screamed.

The whole stadium was silent.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but this whole duel was planned and set up by a madman's plot to get even!" J.D. remarked. "You've all been deceived!"

Alexis rose to her feet. "This whole duel is a fraud!"

Bastion also stood up. "Yes. It was all an elaborate set-up!"

Charlie stood up as well. "That's right! We have definitive proof that Dr. Crowler set this whole thing up and lied about everything. Could someone just turn down the lights for a moment?"

Jasmine, Alexis's friend, did it.

"Thank you, Jasmine," Charlie smiled.

A holographic image from Charlie's watch appeared and projected everything they discovered, and the entire class and staff gasped in shock.

"This whole thing was a revenge plot concocted by a sore loser named Dr. Vellian Crowler," Charlie explained. "You can turn the lights back on, Jasmine."

The lights turned on.

"Is this all true, Crowler?" Chancellor Sheppard asked.

"Of course not," Dr. Crowler replied nervously.

"I disagree, and I am very disappointed in you, Crowler."

They all saw Seto Kaiba enter.

"Seto Kaiba!" yelled Jaden.

"That's Seto Kaiba!" says Alexis.

"He's the President and CEO of Kaiba Corp., as well as the Superintendent and Owner of Duel Academy," Bastion explained.

"J.D. and Charlie showed me everything and called me over," Seto explained. "I'm glad he did."

J.D. and Charlie walked over and greeted him.

"Hello Seto," J.D. greeted him, "and thank you for coming out."

They shake hands.

"My pleasure, J.D., and thank you once again for helping me realize what an arrogant jerk I was," Seto replied.

"I'm glad I could help," J.D. replied.

"As for you, Crowler, you're fired, and you're also going to prison for a long time," Seto told him. "Get him out of here."

Kaiba's men appeared and arrested Crowler.

"No!" yelled Crowler. "Jaden, you did this. I will destroy you if it is the last thing I do!"

J.D. retorted, "Not while I'm here, you won't.

They take him away.

"Sheppard," Seto began. "I will be launching a thorough investigation of this facility for the next 3 weeks to see if there's any more corruption among the staff. Classes are canceled until then."

"Yes sir, Mr. Kaiba," Chancellor Sheppard replied.

"Thank you for your help, J.D," Seto added.

"You're welcome, Seto," replied J.D.

Seto Kaiba leaves

"J.D., Charlie, Jaden, Syrus, Alexis, and Bastion, could you all come with me into my office?" Chancellor Sheppard asked.

20 Minutes Later:

They are in his office.

"First of all, Jaden and Cyrus, I'd like to apologize for putting you both through this," began Chancellor Shepherd. "We were all fooled by Crowler's lies."

"It's okay, sir," Jaden responded.

"I forgive you, sir," Syrus replied.

Chancellor Sheppard smiled. "Good. Now, Charlie, how did you find out about Crowler's corruption?"

"That's easy, sir," Charlie replied. "I'm a spy working for J.D. He's not only my best friend but also my boss."

"Yes, sir," J.D. replied. "I have my own spy organization. I call it the Alpha Spy Watchers Club, or ASWC for short. We keep an eye on the world's most powerful figures to make sure they don't cause any chaos, and if they do, we gather as much information as we can about them and expose them with the latest in cutting-edge technology, espionage skills, and tactics, stealth, and martial arts."

"I see," Chancellor Sheppard responded. "That's quite a network."

"I agree," Alexis replied. "That's really cool."

"That's awesome," Bastion remarked.

"That's cool," Jaden commented. "J.D., do you duel?"

"Unfortunately, no, I don't," J.D. answered. "I just collect the cards."

"That's okay," Jaden replied.

"Also, I have to warn you all," J.D. added. "There is an evil organization out there called the Society of Light, and their goal is to destroy the entire universe."

They all gasp.

"Why do they want to do that?" Alexis wondered.

"They worship a malevolent celestial entity called The Light of Destruction, whose ultimate goal is to destroy all life in the entire universe," J.D. explained. "This Light has been responsible for numerous unholy calamities over the centuries, such as wars and dictatorships. An evil Cult Organization was formed to worship this dangerous force. It's called the Society of Light, and its leader is Sartorius, a fortuneteller. His goal is to help the Light of Destruction in brainwashing the entire planet. But he has no idea that he is about to destroy the entire planet."

They all gasp.

"So the entire world is in great danger?" Jaden asked.

"Not just the world, but the entire Universe," J.D. explained. "For countless eons, the battle between darkness and light has raged on. It was a fierce battle between the Gentle Darkness and the Chaotic Light. Jaden, your ancestor the Supreme King, was capable of wielding the power of the Gentle Darkness and destroying the Chaotic Light. Let me show you."

He placed his hand on his head, and Jaden saw his ancestral past. He saw what he was destined to do. He saw the card he first had, Yubel, transform into the card he had as a child. The card that he sent into space. He even saw that Yubel was back on Earth and is looking for him.

"So I was destined to stop the Light of Destruction from destroying everything?" Jaden asked.

"Yes," J.D. confirmed. "It's a dangerous task, but I can help you do it."

"Thank you, J.D," Jaden replied. "You guys want to help me out?" he asked Syrus, Alexis, Bastion, and Charlie.

"I'm in Jaden," Syrus declared.

"Me, too," Alexis responded.

"Count me in, too," Bastion responded.

"I will gladly help out," Charlie replied.

Chumley, Blair, Jasmine, Mindy, Zane, Chaz, and Professor Lyman Banner arrived, as did Tyranno Hassleberry, Jim Crocodile Cook, Adrian Gecko, Axel Brodie, and Jesse Anderson.

"We'll help, too," Chumley added.

"I will help my friends," Blair stated.

"Count me in, too," Jasmine responded.

"Me too," Mindy added.

"I will help as well," Zane responded.

"Don't get used to me helping you slackers," Chaz warned.

"I will gladly assist you as well," Professor Banner answered.

"We are stronger together!" Tyranno declared.

"That's right," Jim replied.

"I will help you all," Adrian stated.

"Me too," Axel responded.

"Let's go, partners!" Jesse shouted.

"All right," J.D. said. "We are now the Army of the Gentle Darkness, and our mission is to stop the Society of Light and destroy the Light of Destruction. This is going to get intense." He senses something." Uh oh!"

They rush to the window and notice that the Obelisk Blue Dorm is completely white.

"What happened to the Obelisk Dorm!?" screamed Mindy.

"It's all white!" cried Jasmine.

"I sense a tremendous power, and it is evil," J.D. declared. "They're here. This is it, guys. First, we have to find Yubel. Get ready, Society of Light! The Darkness is coming for you!"

"YEAH!" was the unanimous response.

They searched the entire island for Yubel and discovered the pod she was in, with only her left forearm remaining.

"Whoa!" cried J.D. "She had a nasty crash on re-entry."

"Yubel, I'm so sorry," Jaden apologized.

J.D. said, "I got this," and then chanted an Incantation. "Guyistona Nagnifri Tokadestras!"

From his hands, he unleashed dark lightning that completely resurrected her.

"I'm fully reborn!" Yubel declared.

"Yubel, it's great to see you again," Jaden remarked.

"Jaden, we're finally reunited," Yubel stated.

"Yes," Jaden replied. "The Light of Destruction has come and we have to stop it."

"We are the Army of the Gentle Darkness, and we are going to destroy the Light of Destruction once and for all," J.D. declared. "I'm J.D. Knudson."

"I'm Charlie Nottingham."

"I'm Alexis Rhodes."

"I'm Bastion Misawa."

"I'm Tyranno Hassleberry."

"I'm Zane Truesdale."

"I'm his little brother Syrus."

"I'm Chaz Princeton."

"I'm Jesse Anderson."

"I'm Axel Brody."

"I'm Jim Crocodile Cook."

"I'm Adrian Gecko."

"I'm Jasmine."

"I'm Mindy."

"I'm Blair Flannigan."

"And I'm Professor Lyman Banner."

"Pleased to meet you all," Yubel replied.

"Yubel, we have to work together to stop Sartorius and the Society of Light," Jaden explained.

"The Society of Light is an evil cult that worships the Light of Destruction, and they're going to destroy the entire planet and the entire Universe if we don't stop them," J.D. warned.

"Yes," Yubel replied. "I was chosen to be Jaden's guardian and protector so that I could help him in getting ready to fight the Light of Destruction. I'll gladly help you all."

"We appreciate it," J.D. remarked. "Now this battle is going to be rough. We must evacuate the entire island."

"Good thinking," Jaden commented.

"Let's go," J.D. commanded.

Chancellor Sheppard's office.

"So we have to evacuate the island?" Chancellor Sheppard asked.

"Yes, sir," J.D. replied. "This battle is going to get extremely ferocious, and we don't want anyone caught in the crossfire."

Chancellor Sheppard nodded. "I understand. I'll evacuate the school at once."

"Thank you," J.D. expressed gratitude. "Let us know when everyone but the Obelisk White Dorm has been evacuated."

"Will do," Chancellor Sheppard replied.

They leave and take refuge in Alexis' dorm room.

The alarm had gone off.

On the PA, Chancellor Sheppard announced, "Attention everyone, the entire school is under attack by a terrorist organization. This is not a drill. Repeat, this is not a drill. Everyone evacuate the island immediately!"

1 hour later.

The last of the boats had left.

On J.D.'s walkie-talkie, Chancellor Sheppard announced, "J.D. everyone has been evacuated except for the White Obelisk Dorm."

"Excellent," J.D. replied.

"Be careful, guys, and J.D., good luck," cautioned Chancellor Sheppard.

"Thank you," J.D. murmured before putting the walkie-talkie away. "All right. Army of the Gentle Darkness, let's move!"

They all run to the White Dorm and burst through the door. But, the entire dorm was empty.

Jaden said, "There's no one here."

"Stand your ground, everyone," J.D. commanded. "I sense that Sartorius is expecting us."

"Sartorius?" Yubel asked.

"He's the Society of Light's leader," J.D. explained. "He will stop at nothing to destroy the Earth. Stay with me."

They silently look around the dorm for him.

J.D. concentrated, his energy-sensing powers activated, and looked for his signal like a radar. He found his signal in a room at the far end of the hall.

"His energy signal is in that room at the end of the hall," J.D. whispered. "Follow me."

They tiptoe quietly up to his door.

"If he's a fortuneteller, won't he be able to predict our arrival?" Alexis asked quietly.

"Yes, but my energy is preventing us from being detected by him," J.D. muttered.

"Very clever," Syrus whispered.

When they arrived at the door, J.D. counted down with his fingers 3.. 2... 1.

J.D. kicked in the door, and they found him.

"Sartorius, so we meet at last," J.D. stated.

"J.D. Knudson, how nice of you to join us," Sartorius remarked. "Now I can make you see the light."

J.D., Charlie, and the crew flare up an aura of pitch black darkness around them.

"I don't think so," J.D. responded. "The Darkness has come for you."

J.D. fired a Force blast, causing Sartorius to crash through the wall and outside.

They all saw him floating in the air, surrounded by pure white light.

"You all ruined everything!" yelled Sartorius.

"And we show no remorse in doing so," J.D. added. "This is a battle as old as the universe itself. The battle between Light and Darkness. Let's go get him, team!"

They all flew towards him, and the Battle for the Fate of the Universe had begun. J.D. punched Sartorius in the face, knocking him to the ground. Mindy teleported and kicked him in the back, causing him to fly into the air. Mindy then fired a blast of dark energy at him, which exploded and sent him crashing into a rock on the ground. With a sweep of her arms, Jasmine slashed Sartorius while launching some darkness blades. When the dust settled, Sartorius's back was covered in painful bleeding gashes. Sartorius stood up, the ground shook, and he was uppercut by a surprise attack from Jim.

"How did you like that!?" Jim asked.

Sartorius, who was in the air, was furious. "I WILL KILL ALL OF YOU!"

J.D. said, "I don't think so," and then he cupped his hands to the side. "KA! ME! HA! ME HAAAA!"

He fired a black Kamehameha Wave and Sartorius fired a blast of white light, and the Kamehameha Wave overpowered it and hit Sartorius in the bottom of his body, blew it to smithereens, exploded, and blew him into the dorm, where it exploded.

Sartorius screamed in pain and vomited a large amount of blood. When the smoke cleared Sartorius was in a crater and was half the creature he used to be.

"That's it for him," Syrus declared.

"Everyone lets..." began J.D. 'Wait, look."

They saw the Light regenerate his body, and when it was finished, he got up, enraged.

"You haven't beaten me yet!" declared Sartorius. He let out an enraged growl. "You wretched brats!" How dare you!? He screamed out in rage and fury. "HOW DARE YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUU!?"

Sartorius then unleashed the full extent of the Light's evil power, bulking himself up to gargantuan proportions in a massive explosion of insane rage and fury. Sartorius had gone insane with rage, fury, madness, hatred, and evil. He flew up to them and attempted to land a punch or kick, but he was too big. They were easily dodging all of his attacks.

"He can't land a punch on us," declared Zane.

"Yeah," J.D. replied. "He may have power, but he can't catch us."

"He's too bulky," Charlie observed. "His size is slowing him down."

"Let's attack him together!" shouted Alexis.

They all fight as one, landing numerous punches and kicks on him, completely overwhelming him with force and power. Massive shockwaves were emitted from their punches and kicks, and they could be heard all the way from Domino City.

The battle was so intense that it shook the entire Universe. When they stopped Sartorius was on his last legs and they weren't even in the least bit exhausted.

"It's over Sartorius," J.D. declared. "You're finished. Everyone together!"

They all cup their hands to the sides. "GENTLE DARKNESS KAMEHAMEHA!"

They unleashed a massive black Kamehameha Wave that completely obliterated Sartorius and destroyed the Light of Destruction in an instant. The blast was launched into space and dissipated harmlessly.

They powered down and landed on Duel Academy Island.

"We did it, everyone," J.D. said. "The Light of Destruction has been completely destroyed."

"Good Riddance," Jaden murmured.

"Yeah," Alexis agreed.

"That takes care of that boss," Charlie stated.

"You said it, Charlie," J.D. replied. "Well done."

"We sure did it, guys," Jesse added.

"Yep," Axel replied. "It's done."

"The Darkness has won," Jim declared.

"It sure has," Yubel added.

"Yep," J.D. replied. "But we lost the Obelisk Blue Dorm. Nonetheless, the Gentle Darkness has triumphed after all these years."

"Yes," Yubei answered. "But there are more evils out there, and we must always be ready."

"Yeah," Jaden agreed.

"We have to be ready for anything," J.D. stated.

J.D. later offered to have Jaden, Yubel, Alexis, Jasmine, Mindy, Syrus, Chumley, Bastion, Chaz, Tyranno, Professor Banner, Zane, Blair, Adrian, Jim, Axel, and Jesse move to Detroit to live in his mansion with all of them, and they accepted. They now live in one of J.D.'s guest houses, and he built a teleporter that takes them to Duel Academy. It was perfect for them.
