J.D., Varie, Lincoln, Laney, Lola, and Lisa were all in the Simulator.

Aylene, Jeri, Jessie, Tamao, Moka, Kurumu, Eddy, Luan, Luna, and Lana were in the control room.

When the Simulator activated, they found themselves on a building in the middle of a huge rainstorm. The town was completely under water.

J.D. widened his eyes. "Whoa!"

"My gosh," Varie said, shocked. "What is going on?"

"It looks to be severe flooding caused by the storm," Lisa explained.

"We're in the movie Rock-A-Doodle!" cried Lola. "This is one of my favorite movies."

"I've never seen this movie before," Laney confessed.

"I have," J.D. admitted. "It's one of my favorite movies from my childhood." He points to something. "Look."

They saw a toy box with a sail on it, which contained a kitten, a dog, a magpie, and a mouse.

"That's Edmund," J.D. explained. "A boy transformed into a kitten because of the Grand Duke of Owls."

"We have to help them," Laney declared.

"Yeah," Lincoln agreed. "But where are they going?"

"They're going to the city to look for Chanticlear," J.D. explained. "A rooster with the power to raise the Sun with his crowing. From what I remember Chanticlear lost his ability to crow because of a mean rooster sent by the Duke. The Duke used his magic to make it look like the Sun was rising on its own and the farm made fun of him because of it."

Lincoln widened his eyes and said, "That is pure evil."

"That is," agreed Varie. "We have to stop the Duke at all costs."

"We will," J.D. assured them. "First, we have to find Chanticlear and help him remember how to crow.

Lola nodded In agreement. "That's right. And no owl will stand in our way."

"Affirmative!" agreed Lisa.

Varie frowned as she heard something and said to everyone, "Listen."

They notice 5 owls heading to the toy box and hear an owl humming Ride of the Valkyries.

"Let's go!" commanded J.D.

They spread their wings and flew to the owls, punching their beaks in.

"Leave them alone, you overgrown chickens!" J.D. shouted.

Varie: Here's something to Brighten your day,: Varie declared and she put her pointer and middle fingers on her eyebrows. "SOLAR FLARE!"

A blinding white light as bright as a thousand Suns shone directly in their faces and incinerated them.

"Nice one, Varie," complimented J.D.

"Great one, guys," Patoo exclaimed. "We owe you one."

"You're welcome, Patoo," J.D. replied. "Edmund, let me help you return to your human body." He chants an Incantation."Metogataska Nestiniro Krysoton Mortus!"

He fired a beam of rainbow light at Edmund, and he reverted to his human form. A boy with blonde hair and he had his pajamas on. Patoo, Snipes, and Peepers were shocked.

"He's a little boy!" gasped Snipes.

"Edmund, I was wrong," Peepers admitted. "I'm so sorry."

"It's all right, Peepers," Edmund reassured her. "Thank you, J.D."

"You're welcome, Edmund," J.D. replied.

"I wish I could be human, too," Peepers added.

"If that's what you want, Peepers," J.D. said, chanting an Incantation. "Nagitantum Naurito Kestiga Mortum!"

He fired a beam of rainbow light at Peepers and she became a beautiful young girl.

Edmund was instantly smitten by her, as was Peepers, and they fell in love in an instant.

"Let's get you all to the city and help you all out," Varie suggested.

Edmund smiled and said, "Thank you."

Varie created a water bubble and lifted the toy box over an aqueduct area, where they could see the city. It was a beautiful sight for them to see. All they had to do now was to find Chanticlear. That was going to be challenging.

They searched most of the city and discovered that Chanticlear is now a huge music sensation.

"So he's called The King?" J.D. questioned. "This is going to be tougher than we first thought. But now that the Duke's owls are no longer pursuing us we can make sure that we can get him back to the farm uncontested."

"That's true," agreed Laney.

"So how are we going to get to him?" asked Lincoln.

Edmund spoke up and said, "I have an idea."

Edmund wrote a note to him and it said that they were sorry. They signed it from Patoo, Snipes and Peepers.

They ran into Goldie Pheasant and handed her the note so she could deliver it to him.

"So what do we do now?" asked Edmund.

"We wait," answered J.D.

Two hours later, they discovered that Chanticlear had received the note.

J.D. grinned. "Perfect. He got the note. He's getting into an argument with Pinky. Lets go!"

They all jumped down and crashed through the roof window.

"This picture is canceled!" declared J.D.

"Yeah!" agreed Snipes.

"It's over for you, Pinky!" shouted Peepers.

Chanticlear glared at him. "I'm through with you Pinky. I'm going back home."

"This studio is your home and you ain't going nowhere," Pinky retorted.

"He is!" Lola yelled and fired a blast of fire and sets part of the set on fire.

Chanticlear tugged on Goldie and said, "Come on. Goldie, come on."

They ran out of the building as fast as they could.

"Stop those guys!" screamed Pinky.

A group of strong frogs on motorcycles chased them down.

J.D.'s eyes lit up and he told everyone, "I have an idea. Lets hijack Pinky's helicopter."

Lisa shouted, "Brilliant! Let's go."

They flew to the copter and took off.

"Let's modify this baby," Lisa said, smirking.

Lisa used her technokinetic powers and modified it into a science-fiction style fighter jet.

"Lets go," ordered J.D.

They took off for the farm and arrived in two minutes. They were hovering over the farm while Varie lifted all of the flood water and dumped it far away in the ocean.

"All the water is gone," Varie told them.

J.D. nodded and said, "Excellent. Weapons online. Target the Duke's castle mountain."

"Roger that," answered Lisa.

Laney flips a switch. "All weapons are locked and loaded."

"Okay," J.D. said narrowing his eyes and then yelled, "Fire!"

Laney pressed a red button, launching a laser and five rockets at the mountain, which exploded and brought it crashing down.

"Direct hit!" shouted Laney.

"Great shot, Laney," J.D. said.

"Confirmed," agreed Lisa.

"We're not done yet," Varie explained. "Here comes Mr. Dark Bird himself!"

We saw a big bird and it was the Grand Duke of Owls.

J.D. narrowed his eyes and said, "The Grand Duke of Owls."

Edmund shouted, "That's him! He's the one that turned me into a cat!"

"So he did!" Patoo yelled, glaring at him.

"I can't believe this guy!" uttered Snipes.

"The Duke!" shouted Chanticlear.

"He is really bad," declared Goldie.

"He's pure evil," added Lincoln.

"Lets land and fight him," commanded J.D.

They land near the barn and take a position.

"I know it's wrong to appear like this, but are you ready to fight for your life?" questioned the Grand Duke.

"It'll be your last when we turn you into fried chicken," J.D. threatened.

"Lets dance," Varie said.

J.D. shot a fireball at him, which burned his feathers.

Chanticlear was trying to remember whether or not he had ever crowed when he suddenly remembered how to crow and jumped into the air and crowed.

"COCKADOOOOOO! COCKADOOOOOOOOO!"

As the Sun rose, a beam of light pierced the darkness and struck the Duke.

The Grand Duke screamed. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

He spun around quickly and shrunk down to the size of a Canary.

"I got this," J.D. assured everyone.

He put him in a birdcage and made him his prisoner.

J.D. remarked, "You're now going to pay for everything you've done," and added, "Dukey," before smirking at him.

They all laugh at him.

The Sun was free to shine once more, and life on the farm returned to normal.

They discovered Edmund's farm is 10 miles northeast of Warren, Michigan. That is quite close to them.

Edmund attends the same school as Lincoln, Laney, Lola, and Lisa. Now Peepers does as well.

They finished the exercise and took a break. The Grand Duke is now in Lucy's Room as her prisoner.
