It all starts with J.D., Varie, Lincoln, Linka, and Laney bringing in the groceries.
"Thank you for helping us carry in the groceries, J.D.," Lincoln remarked.
"No problem, Lincoln," J.D. replied. "Having a big family means lots of food and more."
"Yep," Linka agreed.
"We have a lot of mouths and stomachs to feed in a big family," Laney added.
"You said it," Varie said.
They get to the fridge, unload, and put all the food away.
On the floor, J.D. spotted a box of popsicles. "Hey, popsicles."
"Yep," Lincoln agreed. "New groceries means a fresh box of popsicles."
"Neat," commented J.D.
"Can I have a watermelon?" Laney requested.
J.D. reached into the box and pulled out a watermelon-flavored popsicle, which he handed to Laney. "All right, Laney, here you go."
Laney: Thanks J.D.
"Can I have Cherry?" requested Varie.
J.D. said, "Sure," and reached inside to retrieve a cherry-flavored popsicle. "All right, here you go." He hands it to her.
"Thanks," replied Varie.
J.D. reached into the box and pulled out his favorite flavor. "Strawberry for me."
"New groceries means a fresh box of popsicles, and that means I get the one and only Grape," Lincoln explained, pulling out the one and only Grape Flavored Popsicle. "Do you want to share it with me, Linka?"
"Sure," Linka answered.
But just as Lincoln and Linka were about to unwrap the grape popsicle, they heard the girls approaching.
"I call dibs on Grape!" Lori declared.
"Nuh-uh!" replied Lana. "It's mine! I can literally smell new popsicles."
"Uh-oh!" cried Lincoln.
"Quick, let's hide!" Laney ordered.
They hide in the living room as Lori, Carol, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Shannon, Lucy, Lana & Lola, Penny, Lisa and Lily come in.
"The Grape is gone!" gasped Leni.
"Dudes, I found shoe prints!" Luna shouted.
"I smell J.D., Varie, Lincoln, Linka, and Laney!" Lana yelled.
"Run!" screamed J.D.
Lori, Carol, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Shannon, Lucy, Lana & Lola, Penny, Lisa, and Lily are armed with pitchforks and torches, like an angry mob out for blood.
Lola notices them escaping. "GET THE GRAPE!"
"You'll never take us alive!" shouted J.D.
J.D., Varie, Lincoln & Linka, and Laney are rushing all over the Loud House of the Knudson-Loud-Anderson super mansion and have made it safely outdoors.
"Where did they go?!" questioned Lori.
"I want that grape!" Luan declared.
"Guys, if they see us with this grape popsicle, they'll kill us," J.D. said quietly.
"I know," Laney mutters. "I wish we could all share it, but there are only two popsicles of each flavor."
J.D. murmurs, "I've got an idea," and then he whispers the plan into their ears.
Varie remarked, "That's brilliant."
"We have the only grape in the box Lincoln, and your sisters want it," J.D. acted.
"Yes," Lincoln replied. "We'll get away from them and eat it in the upper atmosphere of the sky above the city."
"Come on, girls!" Lori shouted.
Lori, Carol, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lana & Lola, Lisa, and Lily spread their wings and carried Leni, Shannon, and Penny with them. They took off into the sky.
"The coast is clear," J.D declared. "Let's go."
They went back inside to finish their popsicles.
"That was pure genius, J.D.," Laney added.
"I know," J.D admitted. "An angry mob is too focused on one thing to worry about another."
10 minutes later.
Lori, Carol, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Shannon, Lucy, Lana & Lola, Penny, Lisa, and Lily came in and spotted them on the sofa watching TV with popsicle sticks on the coffee table.
"Hey girls," J.D. greeted. "What took you so long?"
"You all ate the popsicles including our Grape!?" demanded Lori
"That's what you get for fighting over it," Laney answered.
"So, to avoid any violence," Varie explained, "we sent you on a wild goose chase by pretending we were up in the sky enjoying our popsicles."
"Sorry girls," Linka said.
"Better luck next time," Lincoln added.
J.D. continued, "But I have something for you all. Wait here."
He went into his room, opened a freezer, and took out a box of grape popsicles. He slides back down, and the girls notice that he has grape popsicles.
Everyone yelled, "GRAPE POPSICLES! " except Varie, Lincoln, Linka, and Laney.
"It's my own secret stash," J.D. explained. "I have a freezer full of hundreds of boxes of grape popsicles."
They run after them, but J.D. stops them.
"Uh, uh, uh! Wait." They come to a complete stop. "You must all promise to stop fighting over the only grape flavor in the box. I know you like grape, but you act like a bunch of wild animals when it comes to it. So, please, can't we all just share?"
"Oh, J.D., you're right," Lori murmured. "We literally get so out of control over some petty stuff like food and more."
"We promise, dude, we'll share," Luna added.
"We promise and then next time all the popsi..." Lola began and then Lana nudges her to stop. Ow. We promise."
"We promise," Lisa replied.
"Good job, girls," J.D. said smiling, as he held the box up to them. "Help yourselves."
Everyone grabs a grape Popsicle, then they all sit on the couch and watch TV.
"Thank you for helping us, J.D.," Luan added. "We were completely out of control back there."
"Don't mention it girls," J.D. replied.
"In the Knudson-Loud-Anderson House, we all have do what we can to survive and get the grape," Lincoln said to the viewers.
"And always have a secret stash available just in case," J.D. added to the viewers.
