Dad called me, Ochaco, and Tenya to go meet with the development team for our costumes.

Ochaco, Tenya, and I walk along as Tenya and Ochaco talk and Tenya says, "Ah, I see. You're focusing on making your own body float."

Ochaco nodded and says, "Mm-hm. If I increase my mobility, I can use the martial arts I learned from my internships even more. What are you doing?"

Tenya says, "It's quite simple. I want to reduce Recipro's drawbacks. I plan on asking the development studio to improve my radiator."

Ochaco says, "Oooh."

Tenya turns to me and asks, "What about you, Cara?"

I say, "Mine is a little more complex unfortuantely. It looks like my ultimate moves will end up involving using multiple Quirks at once. I'm already good at using both fire and ice at the same time so it's my other Quirks. Only bad thing is I'm still developing Quirks so it's hard to know what to do with that. I'm going to ask the development studio on help to allow me to use Elven Features a bit more because of my need to touch the ground to do it. But I also want to see about getting different goggles so it doesn't just block people from seeing where I'm looking with Erasure but maybe so it can help me detect plants to use and maybe a few more features in the goggles too. Definitely staying with my color theme though. But I also need to see if I can maybe get some skin to show on my legs to make it easier to touch the ground to allow me to use Elven Features."

Tenya says, "Smart."

Ochaco comments, "You really think these things through well." It's silent for a minute as we walk until Ochaco says, "Oh! Hey there, Deku!" I look up and see Izuku is in front of the development studio's door. Ochaco runs forward ahead of Tenya and I continuing, "I was just wondering where you were!"

Tenya says, "Don't run in the halls!"

Of course Ochaco ignored him continuing forward saying, "You here for costume improvements, too?"

Izuku finally turns and says, "Oh, Uraraka."

Izuku is blasted back a bit from an explosion going through the door of the development studio and I wonder what happened as Bakugo was in Gym Gamma still. Tenya and I caught up to Ochaco and Tenya and Ochaco gasp at seeing Izuku blown backwards. Quickly grabbing ahold of my Capture Weapon I try to grab Izuku out of the air to avoid him smacking into the windows but something else grabbed him first.

I hear Mei Hatsume from the smoke saying, "Ow, ow, ow, ow, owie, owie, ow."

Power Loader coughs slightly and says, "Ya know, you shouldn't try to mix everything you can find in the lab together like that."

Hatsume chuckles and says, "Failure is the mother of invention, Mr. Power Loader. Thomas Edison said something like that once." Hatsume coughs herself. Hatsume continues, "Even if something I make doesn't work like I've envisioned it, that doesn't mean it's a waste of time."

Power Loader says, "You almost blew up the entire design studio! Will you please open your ears and listen to me for once? Hatsume!"

The smoke is clearing and I see why Ochaco is making a semi high-pitched noise that annoys my sensitive ears.

Hatsume says looking at Izuku who is under her, "Hey. When did you get here?"

Izuku opens his eyes and he automatically sees Hatsume's breasts and starts acting funny.

Ochaco exclaims quietly with her eyes wide, "Boobs!" And I feel sorry for Ochaco as I know she has a crush on Izuku.

Hatsume says once she's standing up, "Oh, sorry about the sudden explosion. It's been a while, huh? Class 1A, right? Uh...Yeah, I forgot all your names already. Well except for Cara here but she's in here a lot."

I roll my eyes at her.

Izuku not looking at her says, "Uh, Izuku Midoriya. H-"

Tenya says loudly, "I'm Tenya Iida! The man you tricked into being a walking advertisement during the sports festival."

Hatsume turns to him and says, "Never heard a' you." Hatsume turns around quickly and says, "Well, I'm busy developing new babies, so, bye!" She walks away.

Izuku reaches out to her and says, "Wait, a second, please! I wanted to ask Mr. Power Loader about," she stopped dead as he continues, "improving some elements of my costume."

Hatsume snaps her head back and says, "Wha...what...what?" She goes really close to Izuku's face saying, "You can count me in!"

Power Loader says, "Hatsume! It's fine for you to be in and out of the studio all day since you're in the dorms. But if you stop following my instructions and keep running wild in here...you're banned."

Izuku says looking at Power Loader, "Um. Hello."

Power Loader says to us, "I heard from Eraserhead. You're here to upgrade those costumes for your new moves, yes? Come in."

Tenya and Ochaco look at each other and I easily walk in since Power Loader is a hero I trust personally.

Izuku stepping in says, "Ooh! This looks like a top-secret lab!"

Power Loader says looking at the other three with me, "Now. Hand over your instructions, please. They should've been with the case your costume was delivered in. I have a license to make costumes, so I'm allowed to do some mild tinkering with those that were made out-of-house. For small changes and repairs, I can simply report what I altered to the design company. They'll do the paperwork for me. But, for major changes, we'll have to fill out an application and ask the design professionals to make the adjustments for us. After that's completed, the government will make sure the new costume meets certain standards. When approved, it'll be sent back here. And we work with the best design agencies available. So there's usually just a three-day turnaround."

Izuku says, "Uh, well. I was wondering if there was a way I could reduce the strain on the ligaments in my arms. Is that hard? Or possible?"

Power Loader says, "Hmm. Let's see, Midoriya. You mainly fight with your fists and your fingers. In that case, I should be able to do something for you pretty fast."

Ochaco giggles and says, "Deku, that's awesome!"

Izuku nods looking at her and says, "Deku, that's awesome!"

Hatsume says, "Yes, yes, I see the problem."

Ochaco says, "H-Hatsume. What are you doing to him?"

Hatsume says, "I'm feeling out his muscles. Oh, my, your body's much more muscle-y than it looks."

Izuku shrieks and I don't blame him.

Hatsume says, "Don't you worry. I've got just what you need." Hatsume puts some armor similar to Iida's on Izuku and says, "My very special baby. The power suit!"

Izuku says, "Okay."

Hatsume continues, "This high-tech darling can read muscle contractions and support your movements. Meet my baby number 49!" She laughs.

Izuku looks towards her and says, "Um. But I really just need support for my arms."

Hatsume says ignoring him, "Program Start!"

It starts moving and Izuku says, "Holy whoa. This thing is amazing!" It keeps turning and Izuku continues, "Wait. No. I take it back. My spine! It's twisting me in half! Oh, god, I'm gonna die."

Ochaco asks, "Are you okay?"

Hatsume pushes a button and says, "End program. Looks like I made a mistake or two in the limit calculations. That's my bad."

Izuku's out of the costume and holding his back on the ground with Ochaco over him.

Ochaco says, "Oh, my gosh, are you hurt?"

I mutter to Power Loader, "You need to get a handle on her."

Izuku says, "I came in asking for some kind of arm brace, and instead my body almost got pretzeled."

Hatsume says, "Now that I think about it, I could use this suit as a capture item."

Tenya goes sneakily over to Power Loader and whispers, "Sir. I was wondering if you could improve the cooling devices in my legs."

Hatsume turns slightly and says, "If that's what you're in the market for." She puts something on his arms and says, "Try this baby on!"

Tenya asks, "How-?"

Hatsume continues, "It's an electric booster for radiators that can coolify anything that gives off heat! Sweet baby number 36."

Tenya says, "Hatsume, there's nothing wrong with my boosters. And why my arms?"

Hatsume pushes a button and says, "Booster. Go."

Tenya goes up to the ceiling and I mutter to Power Loader, "She ain't touching my costume."

Tenya says, "Hey!"

Izuku and Ochaco say, "Iida!"

Finally the thing is taken off and Tenya's on the ground with Izuku and Ochaco over him. Tenya says, "My Quirk is in my legs, you madwoman."

Hatsume giggles and says, "Yeah, I know. But you don't understand. Come on, it's so brilliant. If you're wanting to cool down your legs, then why don't you just run with your arms instead!"

Izuku gasps.

And Power Loader starts yelling at her saying, "Stop messing around! I will banish you, you know!"

Tenya yells, "What in the world are you talking about?!"

Hatsume says, "Violent!"

I look over as Izuku seems to have a brilliant idea. Izuku gasps again and says, "Hold on. Maybe."

Power Loader says, "Sorry, guys. I'm trying to get her to look past her own devices."

Tenya says quietly, "I'm not sure that'll even happen."

Ochaco nods and says, "Same."

Power Loader turns to her and says, "But y'know. If you all are aspiring to be heroes, then you should treasure your relationship with her. You'll need her once you've been made pros. Look in the corner." I look over and see a bunch of items that she's made. Power Loader continues, "That pile of junk? Those are all the support items Hatsume's made since starting school here. She's always inventing, even when school's not in session. I've seen many support course students in my career, but I tell you, this girl is something special. She's kinda like the Cara of the support course."

I smile slightly at that as he's right she is special.

Izuku says walking forward, "She made all of this in such a short time? That's nuts."

Hatsume giggles and hums as she works on something else.

Power Loader says watching her, "'Common sense is a collection of prejudices acquired by age 18.' That's something Einstein said. That girl is unafraid of failure. Constantly thinking of new ideas and trying them out. Innovators are people who don't feel chained down by existing concepts."

Izuku gasps and mutters, "Wait. I think I get it. It's so simple." He gasps again. Izuku says loudly now, "I understand! Iida! Cara!" Izuku goes over to Tenya and I and continues, "Please, there's so much I want you to teach me!"

Tenya goes backwards with Izuku following and says, "Uh, wait, what are you talking about? You want my help with your training? We haven't made any progress on our costumes yet."

Izuku steps back and says, "Oh! That's right!"

Ochaco says, "Whoa! Your face totally lit up just now!"

Izuku says, "I was just realizing something. Oh, I never asked, are you changing part of your costume?"

Ochaco says, "A little, I don't wanna feel sick anymore."

Hatsume pops up behind her and says, "Oh, you don't say." Ochaco jumps as Hatsume tries to give her something and says, "In that case, you've gotta try this out!"

Ochaco says, "Why do I feel like it's about to explode?" Ochaco, Izuku, and Tenya all try to get away from Hatsume as she walks towards them.

Hatsume says, "Just handle this baby with care, or..." The barrel starts smoking.

Ochaco says, "What is that? Smoke?"

Izuku and Tenya say together, "You'll kill us!"

The cabinet they were by explodes. Hatsume laughs and says, "Work in progress."
