Yoarashi says, "Great to meet you, UA students. Please excuse me!" And he walks away with the rest of Shiketsu High students.

Sero says, "Hold on. Is anyone else confused here? This guy says that he loves our school, but, he turned down his chance to enroll when it was offered?"

Mina says, "Yeah. What a weirdo."

Dad having been watching him walk away turns back to the class slightly and says, "Maybe, but he's the real deal. After all him and Cara did tie and you know how good she is. Keep an eye on him."

All the sudden I hear Ms. Joke say loudly, "Eraser? Cara?" Dad and I both tense up at her voice and turn to glare at her. She continues, "I'd know that scowl anywhere! I saw you on TV and at the sports festival. But it's been a while since we were this close in person."

I look at Dad and see he is not thrilled at all and I wonder about the history between them. I just know I don't like her much personally as she is way too nosey.

Izuku says, "She looks familiar."

Ms. Joke now only a foot in front of Dad says pointing between the two of them, "Let's get married."

Dad says, "No."

I say, "Hell no. I don't want you as a step mom."

Mina laughs looking excited for some reason.

Ms. Joke turns around laughing and says, "Ha, ha! You're a real laugh-riot, buddy." She keeps laughing.

Dad says, "As usual, you're impossible, Joke."

Izuku all fan-boy says excitedly, "Oh, that's Ms. Joke! The smile hero! Her Quirk is Outburst! She forces people around her to laugh, which affects their ability to think and keeps them from being able to move. Her fights against villains are always full of insanity!"

Ms. Joke gives a thumbs up and says, "Come on, imagine it! If I was your wife, you'd have a future full of constant laughter."

I mutter, "I'd move out early for sure."

Dad says, "That sounds like an actual nightmare."

Ms. Joke laughs more.

Tsu says, "It seems like you two are close."

Ms. Joke says, "Our agencies were near each other. As young heroes striving to make a difference in the world, a mutual love bloomed."

Dad says, "No, it didn't. You are nothing like Akira."

Ms. Joke points at Dad and says, "I do miss your quick retorts. You're my favorite person to tease, future husband."

I mutter to Dad, "Can I please use Sensory Deprivation on her?"

Dad says, "No," to me and then turns back to Ms. Joke, "So, Joke. If you're here, then that must mean..."

Ms. Joke says, "That's right." She turns behind her motioning them forward and says, "Over here, everyone. This is UA."

The guy in front says, "Oh, whoa. It really is Class A!"

The girl next to him says, "Wow, that's so amazing. I've seen them on TV before."

Ms. Joke turns back to Dad and says, "Second years from Ketsubutsu Academy. This is Class 2. They're my students."

The guy from the front grabs Izuku's hand and says, "Hey, I'm Shindo! Seems like UA's had a lotta trouble this year, musta been tough for you."

Izuku says stunned, "Uh, yeah."

Shindo moves to Kaminari's hands and says, "But even so, you're all still aiming to become pro heroes, despite those hardships." He moves to Jiro saying, "It's wonderful!" He backs up a bit and says, "Hearts full of fortitude. I believe that's what every hero in the world needs to have."

Izuku mutters, "He's too nice."

Kaminari mutters, "This charming pretty boy's gonna steal our girls." I roll my eyes.

Shindo turns to Bakugo and says, "And Bakugo. It must've been hard for you what with that whole kidnapping incident."

Bakugo says, "Huh?"

Shindo continues, "You have an especially strong will, don't you? Today, I'm gonna do my best to learn from you. I really hope you don't mind."

Bakugo smacks his hand and says, "Stop pretending. What you say doesn't match the look in your eyes."

Eijiro says to Bakugo, "Hey, man, don't be so rude!" He turns to Shindo and says, "Sorry, he's just like that."

Shindo says, "It's fine. It proves how tough his heart is."

Bakugo says, "Tch."

The girl runs up to me and Shoto and says, "Hey, Todoroki! Can I have your autograph? You were so cool at the sports festival."

Shoto says, "Uh..."

The boy behind her says, "Seriously? Stop fangirling."

Mineta goes up behind her and says, "I'd be happy to sign somethin' for ya."

Dad having turned to us says, "Hey. Get your costumes and head to orientation." He starts walking away continuing, "There's no time to waste."

We all say, "Yes, sir!"

We start walking forward and Jiro says, "It's weird. I always forget we're famous to other schools."

Kaminari says, "Oh, yeah, we're basically celebrities when it comes to hero course students." I hear Ms. Joke gasp at that. Kaminari continues, "No pictures, please!"

Mr. Joke says towards Dad, "Wait, hold on. Did you not warn your kids, Eraser?" She sighs again as Dad just walks away not saying anything.

We went and got dressed and went in the room for Orientation it is literally packed with people to take the Provisional Licensing Exam and this is only one of the three locations.

Izuku says looking around, "Look at this crowd."

Ochaco says, "There's so many."

A guy on a microphone groans and I remember him from before. He says, "Okay then. Let's do this exam thing. I'm from, uh, the Heroes Public Safety Commission. Name's Mera. My Circadian Rhythm is so screwed up. Ah, man. I've been swamped lately and I haven't gotten much rest. We're too short staffed. I'm so tired. With that confession, I'll now begin orientation."

Izuku mutters, "Maybe someone should give this guy a break. Before he passes out."

Mera continues, "So, about the content of this license thing. Basically, 1,541 examinees compete in a free-for-all exercise or whatever we're calling it this year."

Sero says, "Seriously? That's not a lot of info."

Mera says, "See, we've got a lot of pros around, and since Stain was arrested, many people've expressed doubts about the status of heroes in society."

Izuku mutters, "He must be talking about Stain's convictions. The idea that most pros aren't worthy of the name 'hero'. That the only things they're after are fame and fortune. The Hero Killer is still affecting our world."

Mera continues, "But, when you really think about it, getting paid makes sense. If you're going to risk your life to save someone, why shouldn't you ask for a reward, huh? That's just the way the world works. God, I could use a coffee. Anyway, whether they're in it for compensation or out of a sense of duty, we've got too many heroes working together in the streets these days to keep villains at bay. Honestly, the time between when an incident begins and when it's resolved is ridiculously short. You are all here trying to receive your provisional licenses, so you'll be swept up in this tiresome mess yourselves pretty soon. Those of you who don't have the speed, frankly, just won't cut it. Which is why that's what you'll be tested on."

The screen behind Mera flashed with Number to pass 1st Test 100 People. Mera continues, "The first 100 students to fulfill the requirements will pass today. With only one exception in the crowd but she already knows her rule." I know he's talking about me. I have to finish the same goal before the 100th person to continue on and I don't count in the 100 people if I pass.

Momo says, "There are over 1,500 people taking this test. I thought they said that about half of us would be passing."

Tsu says with her finger on her chin, "This mean...it's actually less than ten percent who'll get a license."

Jiro says hugging herself, "Oh, man, I'm getting way more nervous."

Mera says, "Well, the world can be pretty crappy. I suppose I should say something about luck. So, anyway, here are the basic rules." He pulls out a target and ball and continues, "The examinee will put three of these targets on his or her body. They can go anywhere you want as long as it's an exposed area. So no soles of the feet or armpits. Each of you will also have six of these balls. The targets are programmed to light up whenever they've been touched by the balls. If all three targets light up, you're out. Oh, and the person who lights up your third target will get credit for your defeat. You get through this round by taking down two people. Got it? Good."

Izuku mutters, "It's similar to the entrance exam. But going against people will be a lot harder than robots. We're given exactly enough balls for us to pass. Although, I guess you could always try to steal the third target from someone else after they've hit the first two. So it's even harder than the entrance test."

Mera says as people grab boxes, "What else? Uh, I guess we'll start passing out the targets and balls. Then, you'll have a few minutes to get situated after we open."

Shoto asks, "'Open'?"

I look up as I get ready for the dome to open above us remembering it from before when I took this exam and I poke Shoto and point upwards as there is a rumbling that now comes through as it starts to open. I hear Izuku gasp. The sides fall down with a thud.

Mera says, "I'm sure each of you have different terrains that you like or want to avoid. Use your Quirks well and do your best. Or not. Whatever."

Izuku mutters in shock, "This is so unnecessary."

I look up in the stands and see Dad sitting a couple seats away from Ms. Joke.

Mera continues, "Yes, I know, it makes for a great reveal, doesn't it? And for what? So much sleep lost for this. Hopefully some of these kids are fast and we get this over with. Until then, I'm gonna rest my eyes."

I hear Ms. Joke say, "Eraser, your fly is down!"

I hear Dad mutter, "Why is it that I can't find a moment of peace and quiet in my life?"

Ms. Joke says, "I can't believe you still have 21 students! It's unusual for you not to have expelled someone. You must actually like your class this time. I mean besides Cara as I doubt you'd expell her."

Dad says, "Not really."

Ms. Joke laughs again and says, "Don't be embarrassed. That's so like you! Please date me."

Dad says, "Shut up."

Ms. Joke laughs more and then sounds serious, "But really. You know what's about to happen down there. And yet, you didn't mention a thing to your class."

I put my targets on. One on the front of my left thigh, the second one on my stomach just below my belly button, and the third is on the front left of my shoulder. I know for them to hit my targets they have to be facing me and with my flexibility I feel like I can easily dodge them only bad thing is it makes it impossible to use Shadow Wolf because my targets would not be accessible. We stay grouped together as most classes run.

Izuku mutters, "If the first people to finish win, then no one will go after their classmates. The best way to win is to team up with people whose powers you already know." Izuku all the sudden calls to us saying, "Everyone! Stay close together, we'll fight them as a group."

Ochaco says nodding, "Mm."

Tenya says, "Got it."

Bakugo says, "Yeah right. This isn't a field trip." He goes walking away from us.

Eijiro says running after him, "Idiot. Wait up!"

Izuku says, "Kacchan!"

Tenya calls, "Kirishima!"

Shoto all the sudden says, "I'm going on my own, too. You can come if you want, Cara. It's hard for me to use my power safely when a big group's around."

I watch as he goes but I stay with the others. Izuku calls, "Todoroki!"

Mineta says, "Midoriya, there's no time. Let's go!"

Izuku looks down at him and says, "Uh-" But then nods.

I hear Ms. Joke say, "Every year, the test is different. But one thing's always the same. It's kind of like a tradition during the licensing exam."

We run forward and Izuku says, "I don't think it's a good idea for them to go off on their own, though."

Mineta asks, "How come?"

Izuku says, "Think about it. Everyone already knows what powers we have."

Ochaco asks, "They did research?"

I say, "No. UA broadcasted something that showed our powers."

Tenya says, "I see. The sports festival!"

I hear Ms. Joke say, "Most of the students who compete in the provisional exam have pretty equal footing. Except for one school. UA comes in at a severe disadvantage. Because the top school's sports festival is broadcast across the country showing off not just your students' Quirks, but their weaknesses and fighting styles, too. Kinda funny, isn't it?"

I focus as Izuku says, "The other schools have probably figured out the same way to win that I have. This is going to end up being a battle between schools. With that in mind, first, it's likely they'll gang up against Quirks they know."

Mina says, "Does that mean?"

Jiro says, "Don't tell me."

I say, "We're targets."

A buzzer beeps and an announcer says, "The first test will now begin."

Ms. Joke says, "If you like your class this year, then you should have warned your students about all this. We've seen it time and time again in this exam."

I look up seeing Ms. Joke's class coming at us. I say loudly, "Heads up."

Ms. Joke continues, "UA is immediately crushed."

Izuku says, "I knew it."

Shindo says, "I saw you on TV. That power of yours also destroys your body." I smirk knowing they'll be surprised on Izuku anyway. Shindo throws his ball as does the rest of his class and he continues, "Well, I can't say I'm above taking advantage of that!"

We all run forward and I throw my own balls easily hitting a person on all three targets at once and I know I can't watch all my classmates while also worrying about my own. I watch as Izuku uses a kick and sends a lot of balls back at them.

I hear Dad say, "So you think we'll be taken out? I don't really see a reason why I should've warned them. I doubt anything would've changed if I had. They're still going to have to overcome this, either way."

Tokoyami says, "Dark Shadow!"

I watch as Dark Shadow takes out many balls saying, "Got it!"

Ochaco makes herself float away from the balls.

Sero says, "All right!" and releases a lot of tape grabbing many balls.

Mina shoots acid dissolving many balls.

Momo having created a triple shield helps shield Hagakure, Tsu, and herself.

Tenya yells as he runs forward.

Mineta having creating a whip with his balls off his head says, "Take this!"

Shindo says, "Oh?"

I hear Dad in the stands say, "Real heroes could turn this situation around. Besides, if they become pros, they'll face villains who already know their Quirks. Perhaps at UA, we look a little further ahead than other schools."

Izuku mutters, "This can work! I've got my Shoot Style. And everyone else's powers have grown, too. Our intensive training paid off."

The girl that I had hit all three targets on looked down as a beep sounded and said, "Aw! Dang it! I'm hit!"

Izuku calls to us, "We've got this, you guys! Show them what UA can do!"

We all yell, "Yeah!"

I smirk looking forward to this as my classmates were definitely ready for this.
