Attention all readers! If you are looking for Pokemon fanfiction that follows the storyline of Ash Ketchum and he has non-canon Pokemon, then my Pokemon fanfiction is not for you. I follow the franchise! So that means, I will be using the Pokemon that the creators in Japan use for the games as well as the show. Am I going to use any of the Alolan, Galarian and Hisuian forms of certain Pokemon throughout my fanfics? That depends on if Ash and Jordan catch any Alolan and Hisuian Pokemon as well as if I chose to write the Galar region. If you don't like that I'm not going to be creating and using non-canon Pokemon, then you may go search for Pokemon fanfiction writers that do.

Narrator: We find our heroes stranded at Porta Vista, the only town on an island with ferries to the mainland.
Jordan: We had fun. And I have good news! The second Pokémon egg hatched while we were here too.
Narrator: Really? What did it hatch into?
Jordan: Yep. It hatched into a male Nidoran and I decided to give it to Ash as a late birthday present.
Narrator: How thoughtful.
Jordan: I know and he's happy about it.
Ash sighs as he lies on his back.
Narrator: It seems like our friends have missed the boat. It'll be a long three hours until the next ferry. By the way, Jordan, how's the teaching going?
Jordan growls in frustration as Meeko pats her in the shoulder: Its getting there. We're slowly working on it.
Meeko: Rio, Rio.
"Pika. Chu Chu!" said Pikachu, pointing out to the water.
"Huh?" said Misty, confused as she turned her attention to the water. "Oh, look. It's a Horsea. How cute."
"It's really cute." said Jordan, seeing a little seahorse Pokémon in the water.
"Huh? Where?" said Ash, sitting up. "Hey! I'll just get Dexter to tell me about it."
"Horsea, a dragon Pokémon. With this unique Pokémon species, thousands of eggs hatch every spring and then the male raises them himself." said Dexter.
"It looks like it's injured." said Brock.
"Huh?" said Ash, taking a closer look at Horsea and sees that it had a black eye.
"Horsea." said Horsea.
"Poor Horsea." said Jordan, feeling bad for it.
"And there's no Pokémon Center around here." said Misty and takes out a Pokeball. "I know what."
"Horsea…" said Horsea, then spits out some of its ink, drawing in the water. "Horsea, Horsea."
"It's saying something." said Ash.
"We have to take care of its wounds first." said Misty. "I'll capture it in my Pokeball."
Suddenly there was a boom in the harbor as a nearby boat splits in two. "Oh, no! The boat!" shouted Brock.
"Look out!" said one of the men aboard the boat.
"I wondering what's happening." said Ash.
"We've got to act fast." said Misty. "My water Pokémon can help those people. Staryu, Starmie, Goldeen, go!"
"I didn't know you can do that." said Ash as all three Pokémon went out into the water.
"Don't just stand there, go look for a boat to help them." said Misty.
"Right." said the boys.
"Aye, aye Misty." said Jordan as she, Meeko and the boys ran to get a boat. Staryu, Starmie and Goldeen reached the men and starts taking them to safety. "This way!" Misty said to her Pokémon. "Carry them all to our boat!"
"Goldeen." said Goldeen. In the distance, Horsea was hiding, whimpering as it sees the action unfold. "It's terrible. Terrible!" said one of the men.
"He seems like he's paralyzed." said Ash.
"Hey, what happened to you out there?" asked Brock.
"The boss. I've got to tell the boss what happened." said the man. Under the water, several Pokémon gathered.
"I'm the boss. Nastina." said Nastina, introducing herself to the quartet who yelped. "I understand that you helped to save the men on my ship. Thank you very much. (Laughs)"
"You're very welcome." said Ash, nervously. "I wonder if you could give us a ride to the mainland."
"Please." said Jordan.
"Hm! You don't think you're going to get away that fast do you?" Nastina asked. "Not till you see my new resort."
"Resort?" asked Ash and Jordan.
"It's not finished, but it'll be spectacular." she said, taking look at the model of her resort. "The world's biggest luxury resort."
"Is that it out on the ocean?" asked Misty.
"Yes that's it." said Nastina. "That's Nastina's paradise, a super luxury hotel, the hotel to end all hotels. It'll have hundreds of luxurious suites, surround by the world's most beautiful coral reef. But only if those Tentacools stop interfering with construction."
"The Tentacool?" asked Misty.
"I get it." said Brock. "The Tentacool paralyzed your sailors."
"Because of those Tentacool, all the tourists have been staying away from here." Nastina tells them. "I don't know why such despicable creatures even exist."
"Did you say despicable?" asked Misty.
"I would say something about this, but I don't want to be rude." said Jordan.
"Riolu." said Meeko.
"They're disgusting, you can't even eat them. And they're hurting my profits." said Nastina. "I was hoping the four of you might be able to help me take care of my little problem. Do you have the skill to handle a Tentacool extermination project?"
"Huh?" they said.
"Of course, I'll pay you well." she said, showing them a mountain of food.
"Whoa!" said Ash and Brock.
"Humph." said Misty.
"Um…" said Jordan, looking between Misty and the boys.
"If you succeed, you'll get world class, all you can eat luxury dinners for one year, $1 million in cash, and vouchers for free stays in the hotel." said Nastina, showing off the vouchers.
"Yeah!" shouted Ash and run towards the curtain but was stopped when the curtains closed.
"First you have to exterminate the Tentacool, every last one, then I'll pay the reward." Nastina said to Ash.
"That's disgusting!" Misty shouted angrily before walking away.
"Misty." said Ash as he, Jordan and Brock went after her.
"(Growls) There's a girl who can't be bought." said Nastina.
"Hey, wait up." said Ash as they left the resort.
"What are you so mad about?" asked Brock.
"Doesn't that old woman make you sick?" asked Misty.
"She gave me the creeps." said Jordan.
"Well, she's not really my type but…." said Ash.
"She wants to destroy the Tentacool." said Misty.
"Huh?"
"And they're all so cute." said Misty, getting teary eyed.
"They're cute?" asked Ash, getting out Dexter.
"Tentacool, a jelly fish Pokémon. 99% of its body is made up of water." said Dexter.
"Interesting looking Pokémon." said Jordan.
"Ugly." said Ash.
"I guess ugly is in the eye of the beholder." said Brock.
"If Tentacool are attacking humans, then there must be a very good reason for it." said Misty.
"Do you really think so?" asked Ash.
"Of course." said Misty. "Tentacool are so squishy and soft when you hold them, and they call the pretty red spot on their heads the ruby of the sea."
"Who calls it that?" asked Brock.
"Well, I call it that. It's my name for it." said Misty.
"Must've been saved by a Tentacool when she was my age." muttered Jordan.
"Probably has." Ash muttered in agreement with his sister, before turning his attention to Misty. "When you talk about water Pokémon, it's like you get a different personality."
"I don't understand why you can't see their charm." said Misty. "Water Pokémon are so beautiful and have such depth. (Sighs) Like that Horsea we saw. It was a talented artist."
"Makes me wish that I could draw something like that." said Jordan.
"Art? You mean that ink it spit out of its mouth?" asked Ash.
"Chu Chu. Chu!" said Pikachu, sitting in a life preserver with a drink.
"Riolu. Olu!" said Meeko, swimming around as Horsea chases her.
"Horsea." said Horsea, giggling.
"Horsea!" shouted Misty as they see the small pool coming into view.
"Horsea!" said Horsea, giggling as it sees Misty.
"How do you feel? Are you okay?" she asked the little dragon Pokémon.
"The super potion seems to be working." said Brock as he, Ash and Jordan caught up to her.
"Thank goodness." said Misty, picking up Horsea.
"They're really communicating." said Ash.
"Horsea?" asked Horsea.
"Horsea still sounds worried." said Jordan.
"How can you tell?" asked Brock.
"On occasion, Jordan has been able to pick up the emotion." explained Ash.
"Huh? What is it?" asked Misty, ignoring her friend behind her. "What are you trying to say?"
"Horsea." said Horsea.
"Say didn't that picture it drew look like a Tentacool?" asked Ash.
"Yeah, it did." said Jordan.
"Maybe it was telling us about the Tentacool and why the ship was sunk." said Brock.
"Is that right, Horsea?" asked Misty.
"Sea, sea." said Horsea, nodding and whimpering.
"Citizens of Porta Vista, listen up!" said Nastina over the megaphone.
"Nastina." said Ash.
"Effective immediately, I am recruiting volunteers to exterminate the Tentacool terrorizing the town." she said.
"Exterminate?" said an angry Misty.
"I will award $1 million dollars to anyone who can exterminate the Tentacool." Nastina continued. "Isn't Nastina generous?"
"She would do anything to destroy them." said Brock.
"Over my small body!" shouted Jordan.
"Anyone who wants money….I mean, wants to help the development of our town, come to the yacht harbor immediately." said Nastina
"Huh, she expects to get people to destroy the Tentacool for money? How ridiculous." said Misty.
"I wouldn't do it if my life depended on it." said Jordan, crossing her arms.
"Oh, it's ridiculous to them." said Ash. Horsea jumps out of Misty's arms as she and the others get trampled on by the people of Porta Vista. People clamored around the oncoming tank.
"All right, which one of you is going to win the $1 million reward?" Nastina asked the people and suddenly a rose hits the tank. "Huh?"
Ash and Jordan climbed onto the top of people's head. "Oh, who is that?" asked Nastina, looking at the incoming boat.
"Prepare for trouble."
"Make it double."
"To protect the world from devastation…"
"To untie all peoples within our nation…."
"To denounce the evils of truth and love…"
"To extend our reach to the stars above…"
"Jessie."
"James."
"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light." said Jessie.
"Surrender now, or prepare to fight." said James.
"Meowth! That's right!" said Meowth.
"Hey, they got a lot of spunk." said Nastina.
"That's a new definition of 'spunk'." said Ash.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"How many does this make?" asked Brock.
"Altogether….seventeen." she tells him.
"Riolu." said Meeko, seeing the tick marks Jordan make in her book.
"They'll never stop." said Misty.
"Team Rocket does like keep coming back for more." said Brock.
"To be honest, I can't wait to cash in at some point." said Jordan.
"Look at that hair." said Jessie, taking a real good look at Nastina's hair.
"Disaster." said James, then yelped as Nastina shot something at them from her tank.
"I don't need your beauty tips!" Nastina shouted at them. "I need to get rid of Tentacool!"
"It's a very distinctive style. Just don't shoot." said Jessie, standing back up.
"You mean dis-stink-tive." Meowth said, popping up.
"Oh, we're terribly sorry." Jessie said, ignoring Meowth.
"Yes, very sorry." said James. "Please leave your little Tentacool extermination project to Team Rocket."
"Kiss ups." muttered Jordan.
"This crew might just pull it off." said Nastina.
"We sure will, Nastina." said Jessie.
"Sounds good." replied Nastina. "If we exterminate the Tentacool immediately, the million bucks is yours. Isn't Nastina generous?"
"Yes, we heard you the first time." said Jessie.
"Just get the dough ready for us." said Meowth and Team Rocket takes off.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Ri." said Meeko.
"This is not going to be good." said Jordan.
"They're disrespecting the ocean." said Misty.
"Huh?" said Ash, seeing Misty's sad eyes.
"We're going to make a million." boasted Meowth.
"Just for getting rid of some jellyfish." added Jessie.
"And it's going to be so easy with our…" James said.
"Super-secret stun sauce!" all three of them shouted.
"We'll just pour it into the ocean all over the Tentacool." Jessie said, repeating part 1 of the plan.
"Then we'll catch them and open up a fish market." said Meowth, revealing part 2 of the scheme.
"And we'll make even more money." said James, stating the final part of the plan.
"There's nothing like making money." said Jessie, dreamily when suddenly the boat was caught by something. "Mm? What?"
"Why are we going back?" asked Meowth. James looks over the edge and sees a thousands of Tentacool in the water.
"(Yelps and stammers) T-t-t…" stammered James.
"Tentacool!" shouted Team Rocket.
"What are they?" asked a man.
"All of those are Tentacool?" asked Ash.
"There must be thousands surrounding Team Rocket." said Jordan.
"Get the stun sauce! Get the stun sauce!" Meowth cried out as he kicks Jessie.
"We don't have enough of it." Jessie tells him.
"There must be 10,000 of them!" said James. A Tentacool stuck its head out of the water, a red beam came out of its jewel and destroys the boat, causing Team Rocket to scream. The barrel of stun sauce went through the air and crashed on top of the Tentacool, causing it to evolve.
Everyone had started screaming. "We super-sized it!" screamed Jessie as the Pokémon wrapped its tentacle around Team Rocket as well as random buildings.
"This is impossible." said Brock. "Even at its greatest height, a Tentacruel shouldn't be more than seven feet tall."
"Tentacruel, a jellyfish Pokémon, an evolved form of the Tentacool." said Dexter. "Its numerous tentacles serve as a powerful weapon. It is known as the gangster of the sea."
"You know what? Someone should count the tentacles so that it can be updated to Dexter." said Jordan.
"I agree." said Ash, looking at the Tentacruel. "That must be the gang leader."
"Oh, no!" said Misty. "Tentacruel's in trouble!"
"How dare that thing crush my hotel!" screamed Nastina. "Commence fire!"
As she and her cronies fired, the rubber bullets didn't faze Tentacruel, who then growled at Nastina. "Leave my hotel alone!" yelled Nastina, but was shocked into silence.
"Tentacool! Tentacool! Tentacool!" said all of the Tentacool walking past her.
"We've got to try to protect Tentacruel." said Misty as Ash and Jordan pull her away.
"Misty!" said Jordan.
"But there's going to be a tidal wave!" exclaimed Ash.
"Ah!" she screamed as they pulled her away. As Tentacruel closed in on Porta Vista, people screamed as a vast tidal wave rolled in. "Tentacool! Tentacool! Tentacool!" said the Tentacool, who were now in the water.
"Oh, thank badness we survived." said Jessie as she and James were hanging on a pole of a building.
"We're high and dry." said James.
"It's a good thing we grabbed onto this pole." said Jessie. "It should be safe to climb down now." As they both looked down, Jessie and James noticed that they were very high up from the ground. "Help!" they screamed, whimpering.
Tentacruel threw a construction piece at the amusement park. "Oh, it's a good thing I just got that insured." said Nastina, looking through a pair of binoculars. "That's the last straw, Tentacruel! I'm coming after you!" Suddenly the water washed her away.
In a building not far away from the city, Ash, Jordan, Misty and Brock were with the people watching Tentacruel destroy everything. "So this is what that Horsea was trying to warn us about earlier." said Brock.
"I don't understand." said Misty. "Why would they do a thing like this? Now everyone will be against them."
"Pikachu, do something." said Ash as Tentacruel entered Porta Vista and destroyed a building.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu and recoils against its trainer.
"You're right." said Ash. "There's no way you could battle against something that big."
"Riolu!" said a frightened Meeko, covering her eyes with her paws as she turns into Jordan.
"It's okay, Meeko." said Jordan, holding her in her arms.
"Just leave this to me." said Misty.
"Wait." said Brock. "Up there."
"Huh?" said Misty, turning back around. In the tentacle of Tentacruel, they recognized Meowth. "It's Meowth." said Jessie.
"Meowth has abandoned us." said James, then takes out a rose. "Oh, it's a Tentacruel world."
"No time for drama. Let's get out of here." said Jessie and another tidal wave washed them away. A Tentacool appeared and placed its tentacles on Meowth's head.
"We are Tentacool and Tentacruel. Hear us now." said Tentacruel, using Meowth so its voice can be heard. "Humans have destroyed our ocean home, and now we will have our revenge." Tentacool destroyed the buildings from the ground, causing Ash and Jordan to gasp.
"Tentacruel's using Meowth as a puppet." said Brock.
"I can't believe what I'm seeing." said Jordan.
"Rio, Rio." said Meeko.
"Now we will begin to destroy your world, your home, as you have so cruelly tried to destroy ours." said Tentacruel. "And not one of you has the right to complain about it."
"Their homes must've been where the hotel's being built." said Ash.
"That's right. The coral reef." said Brock and Misty gasped
"That's what Horsea was trying to tell us earlier." she said. "I should've understood what it was trying to say. And I call myself a water Pokémon trainer."
"Don't beat yourself up about this, Misty." said Jordan. "You did your best."
"Rio, Olu." said Meeko. Suddenly, people screamed as a tentacle came down on the building they were in. "Horsea. (whimpering)" Horsea called out to Tentacruel, who then turns around. "Horsea."
"It's too late, Horsea." said Tentacruel. "No matter what you think, we cannot turn away. We must teach humans the pain of having homes destroyed."
"Horsea." said Horsea, shaking its head.
"A spineless attitude like yours will only allow humans to be more cruel and inconsiderate in the future." Tentacruel tells Horsea.
"Horsea." said Horsea.
"So you say we're the spineless ones?" Tentacruel asked. "For that you must be punished!"
"Horsea!" cried Horsea as it was splashed out of the water by Tentacruel.
"Oh no!" said Jordan.
"Horsea!" Misty cried out.
"Grab him, Pidgeotto!" said Ash.
"Pidgeo!" cawed Pidgeotto as it grabs the now injured Horsea, taking it over to Misty.
"Horsea." said Misty as the Pokémon was placed in her hands.
"Good work, Pidgeotto." said Ash as Jordan rubs its head. Horsea whimpers in Misty's arms. "I'm sorry, Horsea." Misty tells it. "You got beaten up, and you did it all for us humans. Thank you."
"Horsea." said Horsea.
"Pika, Pika, Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You want to try your luck?" asked Ash.
"Chu."
"Rio!" said Meeko.
"You too, huh? Good." said Jordan.
"All right full attack power now!" shouted the brother and sister.
"Squirtle!"
"Squirtle."
"Bulbasaur!"
"Bulbasaur."
"Butterfree!"
"Free!"
"Pidgeotto!"
"Pidgeo!"
"Meeko!"
"Riolu!"
"Squirt!"
"Squirtle."
"Raya!"
"Dratini!"
"Starmie, Staryu and Goldeen!" shouted Misty.
"Get ready, Zubat!" shouted Brock.
"Zubat!" said Zubat. Pikachu and Meeko were sitting on Pidgeotto's back while it carried Raya.
"Pidgeo!" said Pidgeotto as it dodged Tentacool's attack and Pikachu jumps up.
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu, releasing a thunderbolt.
"Hey, Pikachu, don't let the Tentacool get any closer to us!" Ash cried out. "Send them back to the sea!"
"Dratini!" shouted Raya, giving Tentacool an intimidating look.
"Riolu!" shouted Meeko before growling at Tentacruel.
"Great job, Raya! Awesome, Meeko!" shouted Jordan.
"Bulba, Bulba, Bulba!" shouted Bulbasaur. People around them cheered as the Pokémon sent them back to the ocean. Ash looks over his shoulder. "Huh? Hey, where's Misty?" he asked.
"I don't know. I'm not her keeper." said Jordan, shrugging her shoulders.
"You are all Pokémon." said Tentacruel. "Why are you battling to save the destructive humans?" Tentacruel then tries to knock Pidgeotto out of the air as it knocks Bulbasaur and Butterfree. It then knocks Starmie, Staryu and Goldeen. Misty pants as she climbs up a ladder.
"Zu!" said Zubat as Tentacruel hits it.
"Ah, Zubat!" said Brock.
"Squirtle." said Ash.
"Though you are Pokémon, if you take the human's side, you are our enemy." said Tentacruel.
"Pidgeo!" cawed Pidgeotto.
"Pika! Pika, Pikachu!" Pikachu pleading with Tentacruel. "Pikachu, pika!"
"(Grumbling)" said Tentacruel, turning to Pikachu.
"Kachu!" said Pikachu, then points back to the tower, towards Jordan.
"Riolu, Rio!" screamed Meeko.
"Pikachu's reasoning with it?" questioned Brock.
"And with Meeko as back up. Who knew that Pikachu would be a negotiator?" asked Jordan, surprised.
"I'm counting on you, Pikachu!" shouted Ash.
"Pika, pika, chu. Pikachu." argued Pikachu.
"(Grumbling)" said Tentacruel.
"Chu! Pika!" said Pikachu as Tentacruel continued to grumble.
"Pikachu. Pika!" Pikachu shouted at Tentacruel.
"(Grumbling)" said Tentacruel, angrily.
"Pika, pika, pika, Pikachu!" screamed Pikachu.
"Please stop, Tentacruel." said Misty stopping the Pokémon in its tracks, causing it to look up at her. "Please, take them all back to the ocean!"
"Misty?" asked Ash, Jordan and Brock.
"Pikachu. Riolu." said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Please listen, Tentacruel. This is enough!" Misty tells Tentacruel. "We humans understand that we've hurt you." Tentacruel grunts as it turns its head to the side and sees that everyone is frightened. "We won't destroy your homes anymore. We're sorry, so please…"
Tentacruel sees her seriousness and honesty behind her words as it brings Meowth forward. "If this happens again, we will not stop." warned Tentacruel. "Remember this well."
Tentacruel throws Meowth towards the amusement park, knocking into the pink Ferris wheel. "Meowth. Where am I?" Meowth asked.
"For the moment…" said Jessie.
"We've got our feet on the ground." said James before he and Jessie groaned.
"Tentacool! Tentacool! Tentacool!" said all the Tentacool, heading back into the ocean with Tentacruel not far behind. Out of the rubble, Nastina appeared.
"You think you can get away that easy, do you?" she asked Tentacruel and takes out a bazooka. "Take this!"
It hits Tentacruel in the behind, causing it to give her the Tentacruel evil eye. "I'll capture you, throw you in a tank, and charge admission." said Nastina with the bazooka still in hand and fires a couple shots. "Eat lead, squiddly!"
"She doesn't get the message, does she?" asked Ash.
"No she doesn't." said Jordan. "All I can say is, whatever Tentacruel does to her, she deserves it whether she likes it or not!"
"Let's go!" said Brock as they ran for it.
"Come on, you big jellyfish." said Nastina as she keeps firing. "I'll show you. Whoa!"
A squirt of ink was blasted in her face. "An overgrown squirt!" Nastina said, looking at her face in the mirror.
"What's wrong with you, Nastina?" Misty asked. "Don't you understand? What you're trying to do is wrong for everybody because it hurts Pokémon and humans."
"Horsea." said Horsea in agreement.
"You stuck up little brat!" shouted Nastina. "Huh?" She looks up and sees Tentacruel standing behind her, glaring. "Tentacruel?" asked Misty.
"Horsea." said Horsea as Nastina laughs in glee.
"Well, Tentacruel, glad to see you're wising up and coming over to my way of thinking." she said to Tentacruel. "Now, why don't you and me go into business together?"
Tentacruel had a better idea and knocks her as far away as possible. "Whoa!" she screamed once she was in the air.
"Uh…" said Brock.
"So long!" said Ash.
"See you never!" shouted Jordan.
"Mm." said Misty, sticking her tongue out. "Huh? Oh."
Tentacruel was heading back to the ocean. "Goodbye, Tentacruel. We'll remember." said Misty.
"Horsea." said Horsea. The people of Porta Vista were rebuilding as the sound of a hammer was heard. A woman who looked exactly like Nastina was hammering away.
"Whew. Huh?" she said as she looks up at the sky as Nastina screams and lands on her, causing the project she was working on to fall.
"You shouldn't have drop in on me like this." she said.
"I thought that's what cousins are for." said Nastina.
"Eesh." they both said. A ship's horn blew as it sails away from Porta Vista.
"It's kind of weird, but Tentacruel turned out to be okay." said Brock.
"Yeah." said Jordan.
"You're right." said Ash, then turns to Misty. "So, Misty, you still think jellyfish Pokémon are cute?"
"Sure do." she replied, causing the boys to groan. "But right now Horsea's the cutest Pokémon of all. Come on, Horsea."
"Horsea!" squealed Horsea, coming out of the Pokeball.
"Horsea, you're my Pokémon." said Misty as she catches it in her arms and does Ash's pose.
"Wait a minute. That's supposed to be my pose." grumbled Ash.
"I know, but I've always wanted to try it out for myself." said Misty, giggling.
"That's a good idea." said Brock. "Next time, I'll try it."
"Looks like you started a trend, Ash." teased Jordan.
"Oh, why don't you guys just think up your own poses, okay?" he asked.
