Sherlock had always enjoyed a good crime scene. That one could only be described as a nightmare. Fog was obscuring everything and it had nothing to do with the local weather. The East Wind takes us all in the end, but Sherlock had not seen this coming. One Shot.

This is isn't a true 'East Wind' fic, as it's just a drabble, but it fits in this universe. It's from John Watson's perspective. John deserves a whole story, but I'm still fleshing it out, so this'll do John Watson isn't taking the death of his best friend very well at all It takes place kinda after the second fic, "To Absent Friends". You don't have to read it, but it helps

Sherlock and John were young when they met but soon became good friends. Through the years they are there for one another. A story where two friends become more. There is fluff, love, some angst and apples. :-)

Between the hug and the birthday cake, John Watson made yet one more deduction, that Sherlock Holmes had gotten one thing wrong about him.

This is the second of my 'East Wind' fics. It's from Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade's perspective. Lestrade takes it upon himself to break the terrible news to Mrs. Hudson, hoping to lessen the grief that John Watson is already going through. It takes place just after the first fic, "Brother Mine". But you don't necessarily have to read that first.
