This is a response to KCS' 221b challenge, however in this case I've adapted it for the BBC Sherlock universe as opposed to the Doyle universe. These are mini fics exploring the lives of Sherlock and John - canon additions, AUs, and everything in between.

My take on Sherlock's inner monologue/turmoil before and during the tarmac scene of His Last Vow. "My brother whisked me off promptly and kept me locked up while he negotiated a plan that might end with me not being put to death. I found myself not understanding what the difference is: dead or alive, I still don't have you." One-shot songfic. Canon and HLV compliant.

Some time after of HoB: Sherlock has been attacked. He had decided before to show John he trusts him but he struggles against his own old behaviour-patterns of refusing help. Finally, he faces the situation - or maybe he's just too much out of it to really resist. Doctor!John, no First Person POV but almost entirely from Sherlock's side.
