Hello.

So few of you asked me if I would be adding other Characters. Yes and No.

While it would be cool, I don't plan on adding any of the other Smash fighters into the story. Other Animal Crossing Characters? POSSIBLY. But I don't plan on adding anyof the other fighters. The other fighters might be MENTIONED, but other than that, no.

Now on with the story!

Villager blinked his eyes open from his sleep. He looked over to his alarm clock and saw that it was 8:30 am. Today, he had classes and about 30 minutes till they started. Villager yawned and stretched before he got out of bed and got dressed into his School Uniform. Surprisingly, they had one his size.

Villager looked around his decorated dorm room. His bed was in the corner while the bookshelf was in the other. He decorated the place with a bunch of potted plants as well as his Nintendo Switch on the shelf next to the bed.

After he got ready, he noticed that 25 minutes had already passed and his classes started at 9:00-

"Wait, did you say 9:00?!" Weiss's voice said.

...uh…

"It's 8:55, you dunce!"

...WAIT, WHAT?!

(Idk what music to put here)

Villager quickly grabbed his needed things and bolted out the door. He saw that he wasn't the only one running late as he caught up with Team RWBY and Team JNPR.

RWBY, JNPR, and Villager ran through the courtyard, into the school building and into class with only a few seconds to spare.

Now, most people at Beacon would probably be bored out of their minds when sitting in a classroom for an hour. Villager on the other hand was excited. He never learned anything about Remnant before, so hopefully this'll be something new, fun and exciting for him!

"Monsters, Demons, prowlers of the night." Professor Port began. "The creatures of Grimm have many names. However, I merely refer to them as prey! Haha!"

Professor Port cleared his throat after nobody laughed at his Joke before continuing. "Uh, and you shall too after graduating from this prestigious academy. Now as I was saying, Vale, as well as the other 3 Kingdoms, are safe haven's in an otherwise treacherous world. Our planet is absolutely teaming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces. And that's where we come in."

Villager thought that he was going to learn more about Grimm, until Professor Port went on telling a Story about his past life. This wasn't really what Villager came for…

He looked over to see Ruby, doodling something on the back of her paper. She had drawn a crude picture of Professor Port.

Villager rolled his eyes, Real Mature.

He snapped out of his thoughts when Professor Port continued. "A true huntsman must be dependable, honorable, strategic, well-educated, and wise!"

Villager saw Weiss with a very ticked off expression. What's got her cheerios boiling?

"So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" Professor Port asked.

Weiss immediately raised her hand. "I do sir!"

"Well then, let's find out!" The teacher replied as he looked over at a rumbling cage. Inside it was a Grimm that resembled a Boar. And according to the Grimm chart at the front of the class, it was called a Boarbatusk. "Step forward, and face your opponent!"

Weiss then got changed into her normal fighting outfit and readied her sword.

"Go Weiss!" Yang cheered.

"Fight well!" Blake added.

"Yeah, represent Team RWBY!" Ruby said.

Villager did his cheering Reaction. (I forgot what it was called sorry)

"Ruby, I'm trying to focus!" Weiss said bitterly.

"Oh, sorry." Ruby replied.

Sheesh, seriously, what's her problem?

"Alright, let the match...Begin!" Professor Port said as he chopped the lock off the cage and the Boarbatusk came charging at Weiss. Weiss blocked it's horns with her sword and dodged before the Grimm could counter.

"Hang in there Weiss!" Ruby cheered.

Weiss then used her semblance to get inclose before going for a strike. But the Boarbatusk caught and hooked her sword with its horns. It then made Weiss let go of her weapon and the Grimm threw it across the room.

"Hoho! Now what will you do without your weapon?" Professor Port said.

Weiss ran past the Boarbatusk and retrieved her weapon.

"Weiss! Go for its belly!" Ruby said. "There's no armor underneath-"

"Stop telling me what to do!" Weiss snapped.

The Boarbatusk then curled up into a ball and started to do an attack that reminded Villager of a certain Blue Hedgehog that he knew from Smash. The Grimm launched itself with it's spindash at Weiss. Weiss blocked the attack with a Glyph before jumping on another Glyph. She then launched herself at the Boarbatusk, killing it.

"Bravo, Bravo!" Professor Port said. "It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true huntress in Training!"

Something was going on between Ruby and Weiss. Hopefully, the teachers will take notice of it soon.

"Now then, I have one more! Would anyone else like to have a go?" Professor Port asked.

Sure, why not. Villager raised his tiny hand, luckily, the teacher noticed it.

"Alright then, come on down!"

Villager then got changed into his normal Red T-Shirt with blue jean-shorts. He readied his Net.

"And Begin!" Professor Port said as he released another Boarbatusk.

Villager waited for the right time to strike and instantly Caught the Grimm in his net. He then threw it upward and quickly swapped to his Vaulting Pole. Taking Ruby's advice he thrusted his Vaulting Pole straight upward and impaled it.

Everyone, even the teacher, who was so surprised that you could see his eyes under his bushy eyebrows, was absolutely flabbergasted. Villager took out a Boarbatusk that was bigger than him with a Vaulting Pole, on his own, and in less than 10 seconds!

"Uh…*Ahem*. Nicely done!" Professor Port said. "Now I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today! Be sure to cover the assigned readings, and stay vigilant. Class Dismissed!"

Weiss walked away with a sour look on her face.

"Sheesh, what's with her?" Jaune asked.

Villager thought that was a good question.

Luckily, that evening. It seemed that Ruby and Weiss made up, so Villager didn't have to worry about anything anymore.

The next day, Villager and his classmates were taking Combat class. A boy named Cardin Winchester absolutely destroyed Jaune in a fight. Luckily, Ms. Goodwitch stopped the fight before it got out of hand. "Cardin, that's enough."

Ms. Goodwitch stepped forward before continuing. "Students, as you can see, Mr. Arc's aura has now dropped into the red." The screen above showed pictures of Jaune and Cardin, with Cardin's aura level in the green and Jaune's in the red. "In a tournament style duel, this would indicate that Jaune is no longer fit for battle, and that the official may call the match." She then looked at Jaune. "Mr. Arc, it's been weeks now. Please try to refer to your scroll during combat. Gauging your aura will help you decide when it is appropriate to attack or when it is to move to a more...defensive strategy. We wouldn't want you to be gobbled up by a beowolf, now would we?"

"Speak for yourself…" Cardin said as he picked up his mace and walked away.

Villager was taking mental notes about everything Ms. Goodwitch said. In other words, when your aura is high, you can do whatever strategy you want. But when your aura is low, it would be smart to go on the defensive.

"Remember everyone, the Vytal Festival is only a few months away." Ms. Goodwitch said. "It won't be long until students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale. So keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale."

Villager had heard about the Vytal Festival. He was excited! It was like a huge Smash Tournament! Villager always liked competing in one of those.

Villager was snapped out of his Daydreaming Reaction, when the school bell rang. Villager looked to see Jaune with his head down.

And soon, lunch time came along. Villager grabbed his two Pizza slices along with a small fruit bowl and joined his friends at a table, who were listening to Nora tell a story.

"So, there we were, in the middle of the night…" Nora began.

"It was day." Ren corrected.

"We were surrounded by Ursai." Nora said.

"Beowolves." Ren corrected.

"DOZENS OF THEM!" Nora yelled, making Villager jump.

"Two of them." Ren said, calming him down a bit.

"But they were no match, and in the end, Ren and I made a boatload of lien selling Ursa skin rugs!"

"She's been having this recurring dream for nearly a month now." Ren sighed.

Play Animal Crossing New Leaf OST 12PM.

Villager did his Delight Reaction and clapped at the story.

"Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all day." Nora said.

Villager seized his clapping when he noticed Jaune looked a little down. "Jaune, are you okay?" Pyrrha asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, why?" Jaune said, snapping out of his trance.

"It's just that you seem a little...not okay." Ruby said.

"Guys, I'm fine." Jaune replied. "Seriously! Look." Jaune said before holding a thumbs up and a smile.

Some noises caught Villager's attention. He looked to see Cardin and his team laughing at and Bullying a girl with long brown hair and Bunny ears.

Oh yeah, Villager forgot bullies were a thing.

"Jaune, Cardin has been picking on you since the first week of school." Pyrrha said.

"Who? Cardin Winchester?" Jaune said. "He just likes to mess around, you know practical jokes!"

It doesn't LOOK or SOUND like any practical jokes Villager heard before. They weren't very funny if that was the case.

"He's a bully." Ruby said. Villager did his anger reaction, agreeing with Ruby.

"Oh please, name one time he's 'bullied' me." Jaune said.

His friends named the time where Cardin smacked books out of Jaune's hands while walking past him. The time when Cardin activated Jaune's shield and made him stuck in a doorway. Also the time where Ms. Goodwitch was explaining lockers, Cardin shoved Jaune in one of them, and blasted him out of the school.

"I didn't land far from the school." Jaune said, trying to reassure them.

"Jaune, you know if you ever need help, you can just ask." Pyrrha said.

"Ooh! We'll break his legs!" Nora chimed in.

"Guys, really! It's fine." Jaune said, picking up his tray. "Besides, it's not like he's a jerk to me, he's a jerk to everyone!"

"Ow, that hurts!" A voice said. They looked to see Cardin and his team still picking on the poor brown-haired girl with Bunny ears. Cardin was pulling on her ears. "Please stop."

"I told you it was real." Cardin said, laughing.

"What a freak." Skye said.

Something snapped in Villager when he saw what was happening. With the Anger Reaction on his face, he marched up to Cardin and his team.

"Hm? What do you want?" Cardin said. "Buzz off."

Villager pointed to the bunny-eared girl.

It took Cardin a few seconds to put the pieces together. He and his team made the big mistake of bursting into laughter. "What? You want us to stop? And what are you gonna do about it, shorty?"

Villager then did something unexpected. A little thing he learned from one of the other Smash fighters, Incineroar. But he also added his own little thing to it.

Villager used Scary Face!

It's Super Effective!

"W-WHAT THE?!" Russel exclaimed.

"T-This isn't over short-stack!" Cardin said before he and his team fled.

After scaring off Team CRDL, Villager walked up to the girl they were bullying.

"U-Um…" She began. "T...Thank you...for helping me."

Villager gave her a reassuring nod. He then showed her his name.

She smiled. "I'm Velvet, nice to meet you Villager! See you around!" Velvet then walked away. Villager waved goodbye.

Villager, with a content smile on his face, walked back to his table. When he sat down, Team RWBY and Team JNPR looked at him with shocked faces. Villager ignored them as he munched on his food.

"...WHAT WAS THAT?!" Yang exclaimed.

Villager looked at Yang with another Content smile, which only made Yang creeped out.

"What...exactly did you just do?" Ren asked.

"Whatever it was, it gave Team CRDL quite the scare." Weiss added.

"Atrocious." Pyrrha said. "I can't stand people like Cardin."

"He's not the only one." Blake said.

"It must be hard to be a Faunus." Yang said, leaning on her hand.

Villager once again saddened at the thought that, whether they were a human or a Faunus, people here just couldn't get along. He wished it was more like his hometown, where humans and Animals lived in peace and everyone got along.

Blake noticed his saddened look. "You okay?"

Villager looked at Team CRDL.

"I know." Blake sighed. "It really is depressing isn't it?"

Villager nodded. It really was.

(End Music)

Later that afternoon, Villager and his friends were taking Remnant History Class with a man named Professor Oobleck.

And Let Villager tell you, this man drinks WAY too much coffee.

"Yes! Yes, prior to the Faunus rights Revolution, while popularly known as the Faunus war," Professor Oobleck began as he zoomed around the room. "Human kind was quite adamant on centralizing the Faunus population in Menagerie." He took a sip of his coffee before speeding through the lecture again. "Now, while this feels like ancient history to many of you, it is imperative to remember that these are relatively easy events. Why the repercussions of the uprising can still be seen to this day!"

Villager's hand was starting to hurt from writing so fast. He was struggling to keep up with Oobleck.

"Now, have any among you been subjugated or discriminated against because of your Faunus Heritage?" Oobleck asked.

Villager looked over to see Velvet looking at him. Villager nodded with a kind smile before Velvet was one the people who raised their hand.

"Dreadful, simply dreadful!" Oobleck said. "Remember students, it is precisely this kind of ignorance that brings violence."

Villager resisted the urge to glare at Cardin.

Professor Oobleck took another sip of his coffee. "I mean...just look at what happened to the White Fang!"

So that's why the White Fang were so violent, it was because of other people that made them that way. Villager hoped something like that never happened in New Smashville.

"Now which one of you young scholars can tell me what many theorists believe to be the turning point in the third year of the war?" Oobleck asked.

Weiss raised her hand. "The battle at fort castle."

"Precisely!" Oobleck exclaimed. "Now, who can tell me the advantage the Faunus had over General Lagoon's forces?"

Cardin then flicked something at Jaune's head, waking him up from his slumber of boredom. Oobleck took notice of this.

"Ah, Mr. Arc! Finally contributing to the class. So, what is the answer?" Oobleck asked, zooming up to Jaune.

"Uh...the answer…" Jaune began. He and Villager looked to see Pyrrha making circles over her eyes, trying to give Jaune a hint.

"Uh...Binoculars." Jaune answered.

Villager: watch?v=aY76yGkYSpY

A few people laughed. "Very funny Mr. Arc!" Oobleck said. "Cardin, do you have the answer?"

"Well, I know it's a lot easier to train an animal then a soldier." Cardin said.

"You're not the most open minded of individuals are you Cardin?" Pyrrha asked.

"What? You got a problem?" Cardin said.

Were we gonna have one? Villager looked at him with a yellow glint in his eyes.

"Ms. Nikos, Mr. Villager, do either of you have the answer?" Oobleck asked.

Villager raised his hand and showed him what he wrote down on his paper. "Correct! The answer is night vision. Faunus have nearly perfect eyesight in the dark!" Oobleck said. "Would anyone else like to add anything?"

Blake raised her hand. "General Lagoon was inexperienced and ambushed the Faunus in their sleep. His massive army was outmatched and the general was captured. Perhaps, if he paid attention in class, he wouldn't be remembered as such a failure."

Villager: watch?v=eKqXClznmFQ

Cardin stood up with an angered expression. Oobleck stopped him. "Mr. Winchester, please take your seat."

Jaune giggled to himself.

"You and Mr. Arc can both see me after class for additional readings." Oobleck said. Jaune sighed. "Now, moving on!"

After Class…

Villager and Pyrrha saw Jaune get pushed by Cardin while walking out of class. They both helped him up.

"You go on ahead, Villager." Pyrrha said. "I'll handle this."

Villager nodded and headed to his next class.

The next day, Villager along with the other students were on a field trip in the Forest of Forever Falls. The entire forest had red leaves and sap everywhere. It was kind of beautiful.

"Yes students, the forest of forever falls is indeed beautiful." Goodwitch said. "But, we are not here to sightsee. Professor Peach has asked you to collect samples deep within this forest. And I'm here to make sure none of you die while doing so."

Villager heard some noises behind him. He turned to see Jaune carrying a box of Jars and another box that made a weird buzzing sound.

"Each of you is to gather one jar of red sap." Goodwitch said, holding a jar already filled. "However, this forest is filled with the Creatures of Grimm. So be sure to stay by your teammates."

Since Villager didn't have any teammates, he decided to stick with Pyrrha. She was really kind as well as good at fighting. That and because Jaune decided to go and do his own thing for some reason.

"You will rendezvous here at about 4:00. Have fun!" Goodwitch said before everyone split up.

"C'mon buddy, let's go." Cardin said while pulling Jaune away from his team.

Wait, why was Jaune working with Cardin? Villager thought that Cardin had been a huge Jerk to Jaune. He tapped on Pyrrha to get some answers.

"Don't worry about it." Pyrrha said. "Jaune's doing just fine." She said sarcastically. "Let's go get some sap."

...What was going on?

Villager, along with Nora, Ren, Pyrrha and Team RWBY were all collecting sap. Villager even asked if he could get 2 jars so he could take one home with him as a souvenir. Professor Peach gave him the OK, and now he was collecting 2 jars of sap.

"What's going on?" Jaune asked.

"Payback." Cardin said simply, looking at...

"Pyrrha…? Villager…?" Jaune said.

"That's them. Know-it-all, thinks she is so smart. And that Villager… tch, don't even get me started on him." Cardin said. He then pulled out a box filled with Rapier wasps. "Alright boys, old Jaune here managed to round up an entire box of rapier wasps. And now, we're gonna put em to work."

Jaune awkwardly laughed before Cardin Continued. "Now, according to the essay you wrote for me last week, these nasty things love sweets. I'm thinking it's time we teach them a thing or two." Jaune and CRDL stood up. "And you're doing it." He said, shoving the jar of sap into Jaune's hands. "Either that, or I'll have a chat with Goodwitch and you'll be on the first airship out of Beacon."

Jaune gulped and prepared to throw the jar.

Villager was in the middle of collecting sap, when he and his friends heard a roar. Villager did his surprise Reaction.

"Did you guys hear that?" Ruby asked.

Just then, Team CRDL minus Cardin came running by.

"Ursa! Ursa!" Russel cried.

"What? Where?!" Yang said, grabbing Russel by his shirt.

"Back there, it's got Cardin!" He replied.

"Yang, you and Blake go get Professor Goodwitch!" Ruby said.

Pyrrha turned to Nora and Ren. "You two, go with them. There could be more." Ruby, Pyrrha and Villager then readied their weapons.

Villager, Pyrrha, Ruby and Weiss arrived to see Cardin getting mauled by an Ursa. It was probably because of some red sap that Cardin had on his chest. That was what the Grimm was after.

The Ursa was about to slash at Cardin. Until Jaune came and blocked it with his shield.

Weiss readied herself for battle until she was stopped by Villager.

Villager knew he hadn't any idea what was going on between Jaune, Pyrrha and Cardin. But he did know that Jaune wasn't really the best at fighting. Pyrrha nodded at Villager and let him fight the Grimm on his own.

Jaune pushed the Ursa back with his shield before slashing at it with his sword. The Ursa then tried to punch Jaune, only for him to roll out of the way. The ursa then swiped the ground, but Jaune jumped. But then the ursa did another swing, knocking Jaune out of the air. After he got up, Jaune ran at the Grimm again only to be met with the same fate.

Jaune got up, took a deep breath, and tried again. Villager covered his eyes, but kept peeking out of a small space of his hands..

Jaune's shield began to glow a weird color and the next thing Villager knew, the Ursa was decapitated.

"Uh, what?" Ruby said, confused.

Villager was confused as well, doing his Curiosity Reaction. What did Pyrrha just do? He saw Pyrrha's hand glow the same color as Jaune's shield did.

"How did you…?" Weiss said.

"Well, Ruby has her speed, you have your glyphs, Villager...I actually don't know what he has." Pyrrha said. Oh yeah, she hadn't seen Villager's pocket ability yet, has she? "My semblance is Polarity."

"Woah, you can control poles." Ruby said.

"No, you dunce! It means she has control over magnetism!" Weiss snapped.

"Magnets are pretty cool too." Ruby said as Villager sweatdropped.

Pyrrha then began to leave. "Hey, where are you going?" Weiss said.

"Yeah, we need to tell them what happened!" Ruby added."

"We could. ...Or, we could keep this our little secret." Pyrrha said as Jaune sheathed his sword.

Jaune helped Cardin off the floor. "Holy Crap, Jaune?" Cardin said.

"Don't you ever mess with my team, my friends...ever again." Jaune said. "Got it?" He then walked away.

WELL, whatever THAT was, Villager decided not to think or speak of it ever again. Back home, Villager always talked to Tom Nook, Timmy and Tommy, Blathers, Isabelle and all his other friends if he needed help or was struggling with something. He didn't see any reason he or anyone else, like Jaune, couldn't do that here in Remnant.

So I was originally planning on getting a Chapter of this AND A Persona in Time out this weekend. But, laziness got the better of me, unfortunately. Next weekend, perhaps I'll try to get a chapter of that out.

Consider leaving a review on this chapter!

See you next time,

Farewell for now!
