Carrie kept her eyes closed as she concentrated her mind, Master Yoda and Windu observed her as they stood in the Courtyard of the Temple, Carrie herself felt herself hear voices in her head as she meditated.

"She seems to have a promising start." Noted WIndu.

"Hmm, But still troubled, Her mind appears to be." Said Yoda, Stroking his chin curiously.

Carrie didn't exactly hear them. She just kept her eyes closed as she focused on her meditation, Doing her best to drawn out her surroundings as she attempted to become one with herself. It was… slow going to say the least, She then heard Voices, Ones she desperately hoped to forget about.

"Plug it up! Plug it up!"

"Crazy Carrie, Crazy Carrie!"

"And God made Eve from the rib of Adam, And Eve was weak!"

"Mama Stop it!"

"You know the Devil never dies."

"Let me help you Carrie."

"Look what you turned me into."

"I've been hurt my whole life!"

Carrie suddenly gasped out loud as she woke up, And landed flat on her butt suddenly, Master Windu and Yoda were at her side.

"Are you alright?" Asked Windu.

"I… I think so." Said Carrie.

"Hmm, Feel a connection did you?" Asked Yoda.

"I…" Carrie hesitated for a moment. "I felt Memories… Coming back."

"Be mindful of your Emotions young one." Said Windu. "They will cloud you often."

"Master Windu." Said Yoda. "Alone, Would you leave us, Speak with the young one Privately I will."

Later, Carrie and Yoda were in his Chambers, They were just like her Chambers, Nothing of Value inside and it had a good View of the City, With all the Flying Futuristic Cars, Which the Jedi called Speeders flying around, Though Carrie's focus was currently on Master Yoda.

"Troubled you seam." Said the Old Master. "A big adjustment this must seem, yes?"

Carrie didn't know how to respond at first. "I suppose so… Master, I've only been here for six days already and… I just… Suddenly, I don't know what's what anymore." She didn't want him to know about her past."

Yoda looked at Carrie with a soft expression, Feeling the stress and discomfort coming from her through the Force, Choosing his words Carefully, Yoda placed a consolidating hand on Carrie's Shoulder.

"A great adjustment, This must be yes." He said. "But not alone you are, As you may think, Trust in the force you must."

"What will that do?" Asked Carrie.

"Just trust in the force." Said Yoda. "Now, go you may, Until your next Lessons, Get a bottle of… Juice, I must."

"Okay." And Carrie left Master Yoda's chambers.

After that, Carrie made her way to the Jedi Archives, Recommended to her by Master Ki Adi. It was an Interesting place, Just like a library which comforted Carrie a bit, Bringing some comfort to her with the familiarity.

The books however were still strange to her, Instead of the leather and paper in most books, These books (Or records as the Jedi called them.) told many things, Stories of days long ago, Maps of the known Galaxy and a few others, evan the geography and history of the many planets of the galaxy, Carrie loved this place the most in the Jedi temple, Her earlier heisitence seaming to have gone away as she delved into a new world.

"Any help there Dear?" Asked Madame Jocasta as she came over, Carrie looked up.

"Oh no, Just studying is all Madame." She said, "If you don't mind I'd like to take a few of these back to my chambers for study."

"Of course my dear." Smiled Jocasta. "Take as many as you like."

Carrie took some Holorecords and made her way out of the Archives, She toured down the large halls of the Temple, Passing other Jedi as she did, Alien beings big and small, She than found her chambers and went inside.

She placed the Holo books in front of her as she sat down, And found one story that particularly intrigued her.

It was the story of Revan and Malek.

She unfolded the story and activated it.

The Jedi Civil War.

Carrie suddenly felt she wished she hadn't opened this, But she was still curious about this "Jedi Civil War."

"Sith Infiltrators." Said a rough but soothing voice. "We are now certain that the sith empire began laying the groundwork for its return, As far back as the Jedi Civil war, In fact ti;s clear that the Origins of the Jedi Civil war were not as simple as we once believed, The sith emperors first representatives to return of republic space are well known names."

Two menacing looking men were shown now that made Carrie shrink at their fierceness.

Darth Revan and Darth Malek, Revan is now remembered as a legend, A great hero of the Jedi order, But that was only after his redemption."

"After his redemption?" Thought Carrie.

"Revan and Malek first rebelled against the Jedi Council by ignoring orders and assisting the republic during the Mandolorian wars."

Carrie wondered what Mandolorians were.

"Revans success in defeating the Mandolorians caused the Council to question it's orders, But none realized how far Revan had already fallen."

"After their crushing victory on Malachor v, Revan and Malek chased the Mandolorians into deep space, It was their on dromund Kaas they encountered another enemy entirely, The Sith Empire reborn."

Carrie felt a lump in her throat, The word Sith seaming to send a chill down her spine.

"We know nothing of what transpired when Revan and Malek met the Sith Emperor. One thing is certain, When they returned, They did so on behalf of the Dark side."

"The Fall of Revan and Malek to the Dark side was complete, They weren't servants of the Emperor, But they still referred to themselves as Sith and made plans to apparently make their own Empire, One that they thought would secure the Galaxy against the Real one, To this end they sought out the maps leading to an ancient Weapon called the Star forge, A great war machine constructed by the Rakata more than 25 decades ago, With The Star forge at their command, Revan and Malek built a complete army at their disposal, Enough to crush the Republic in a few short years."

"Fortunately for us, Malek's ambitions for power (And getting his Jaw cut off in a fight with Revan.) Drove him to betray his Master, He attacked Revan ship and left him for dead."

Carrie was shocked.

"The Jedi found Revan wounded and uncoinces, After much debate, The council made what might now be seen as a morally controversial decision, to undo Revans memory and retrain him as a Jedi."

"With the help of Jedi master Bastila Shan and War hero Carth Onasi, Revan recovered his old Identity, Than the three of them along with several other allies tracked down the Star forge and defeated Revans old Apprentice."

Carrie hadn't made a move the entire time.

The Jedi Civil War ended, The star forge destroyed And Revan not only redeemed but celebrated as a Hero for all time to come…"

The Record then shut off and Carrie put it to the side. She had learned about the Dark side, yes, But what exactly was Sith? She heard a knock at the door break her train of thought.

"Y-Yes?" She asked.

Master Plo Koon appeared at the door, His masked facial expression unreadable, But Carrie felt slightly more at ease.

"Afternoon young one." He said. "Read anything interesting?"

"Oh Yes, Master." Said Carrie. "It's all so fascinating to read about, or listen to at least, Can I… ask you something?"

"Perhaps as we talk along the way." Said Master Plo. "Your next lesson is being prepared."

Carrie followed Plo down the Halls, And talked to him as he suggested.

"So I was listening to this story from Ages past." Said Carrie as they walked along. "About two Jedi named Revan and Malek and something called the Jedi civil war."

"Ah, That Volume." Said Plo knowingly. "Anything interesting from that?"

"Well, Just a bunch of stuff I didn't understand." Said Carrie. "Especially some group called Sith, What are they?"

Plo Koon suddenly went silent and they both stopped.

"The Sith…" Said Plo Koon. "Were the ancient Enemy of the Jedi, Spanning from thousands of years ago, And that is all I will say for now, You are not yet ready to learn the full history."

"Y-Yes Master." Said Carrie.

The two continued on their way and entered the room they came to, As they Entered, Carrie looked on in slight awe as she found herself in a small circular room, Almost like some Auditorium, With an Elevated Platform in the center. Ki Adi Mundi stood Consulting a Droid as it handed him a Small Cube

"Ah Padawan." He said Coming down to Carrie leval as the Platform lowered. "You're right on time, I hope you had enough time to prepare."

"I just had time to myself." Said Carrie.

"Oh, did you now?" Asked Ki Adi. "Well, Sorry cut relaxation short but Jedi training waits for no one."

"Okay." Said Carrie. "So what's today?"

"You've probably learned much about the Galaxy by now." Said Ki Adi as he levitate a Holocron in his hand and pushed into Carrie's hand.

"And now you will learn a bit more." He added.

Carrie couldn't help but smile.

To Be Continued.

So how do you like this story so far? Let me know how this Chapter was handled, I originally was going to introduce either Aayla Secura or Anakin and Obi-Wan in this scene but… I decided against it, sorry.
