A/N: What's good yo! It's nice to be back with a new chapter for this story. I noticed there was a lot more attention to it thanks to the last chapter, and I guess that means I'm doing something right. It was written with A Revelation in mind, and even though these stories are unconnected, you can view Chapter 2 as the "hot sex" that Trish had thought about at the end of A Revelation Chapter 1. Them breaking the bed was also a reference to them doing it in the lemon flashback of that story, as well as their confession under Mallet Island in the cutscene flashback. Despite this, this story diverges from A Revelation starting here and will be from now on its own thing. Its much longer, better paced, own thing with a slightly less strict adherence to the games, but still closely following them.

You see, A Revelation was originally written without a clear intention to post it anywhere. I just wanted to write the first chapter's scenario, and it was the only one I'd written with only a vague idea on where I could take it from there. I didn't want to write it for too long, so keeping it short and simple seemed like a good idea. But this? This has much more interesting topics and ideas I want to tackle. A stronger focus on Dante and Trish's relationship, a detailed look into their past, their family with their daughter, and of course some more meta commentary on the fandom's thoughts on all of these. I hope to make it worth your while.

Ring ring! Ring ring!

"Devil May Cry. Uh huh. Alright. We'll be there. The customer has the password."

"Great. Let's rock, babe."

Dante and Trish readied their weapons, ran out the office, boarded their motorcycles, and rode out into the night. Another night, another job. So far, things have been turning out well for the couple. Neither wearing helmets, they caught a few glimpses of each other as they rode at top speed. Dante's heart jolted every time he saw the wind blowing through Trish's long hair, trailing behind her. Trish blushed a little at seeing how dashing Dante looked on his own bike, admiring his cocky smile, the way his own hair blew in the wind, and how he smiled back at her.

The place wasn't far, being an office building about ten minutes away. Dante grinned as they neared it. This was going to be a piece of cake.

As they approached the area, they took in the ugly sight. The building was infested with demons. Multiple Beelzebubs were crawling up the walls and in and out of smashed windows. Several were crawling around in the parking lot.

"Ew, bugs," Trish groaned.

The demons turned to look at them.

"I guess that makes us the exterminators," Dante said. The Beelzebubs all fluttered their wings and swarmed at them.

Trish grasped the Sparda and hurled it away. It caught the first demons rushing at them in its path, spinning and slicing them to pieces. Dante and Trish withdrew Ebony & Ivory and Luce & Ombra, respectively, and fired away. The demons dropped like flies as the devil hunters made short work of the swarm.

Dante gripped Rebellion and leapt into the air, slashing away in the midst of the crowd. Stabbing Rebellion into the back of a Beelzebub, he managed to steer it as it flew out of control, twitching and buzzing around in pain. As the demon madly crashed through the others, Dante pulled out Ivory and fired at any that his ride brought him to.

"Whoohoohoohoo!"

Looking down, he saw Trish gracefully spin in a circle firing with her guns pointed out from either side of her, clearing some space. A demon launched itself at her, but she raised her leg to meet it, kicking it and bringing it to the ground beneath her foot. She charged her fist with lightning, holding still for a few seconds before she punched the ground with all her might, creating an electrifying impact that eliminated everything around her. She caught Sparda as it returned to her and swung it around her in a grand sweep, finishing off with a clean cut.

Dante, meanwhile, shot the demon he was riding and turned upside down in the air, twirling violently as he rained bullets down below him. Holstering his guns, he grabbed his sword again and brought its blade down on the final Beelzebub's head, splitting its head wide open as he brought it down to earth.

"Nothing to it," Dante smirked cockily. Trish smirked too, sashaying over to him. She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him hungrily. He met her with an open mouth and an eager tongue.

"Mmm. Mmmm," Trish moaned suggestively as their tongues met and wrapped around each other. Their saliva mixed in their mouths.

As they pulled back, a thin string of it connected their bottom lips. Trish looked up at him with desire.

"I love you, baby," Dante sighed.

"I know. Let's get going, shall we?" She turned and headed for the entrance.

"Hmph. Killjoy," Dante muttered. He smacked her ass for good measure.

"Ohh!" She moaned.

It had been three days since their first night together, and five since they'd first met, but no one would have been able to tell given how close they were acting. Ever since Dante fulfilled his promise to her that night, they'd adapted to each other very quickly. The days were spent waiting for jobs, eating pizza, having sex, and showing her around town. The nights were spent doing the jobs, showering, having sex, and discussing replacing the bed. Was it really possible to be this in love, this quickly?

Trish had been registered as an official person and a devil hunter not long after she arrived home. A lot of legalities, money, and pizza boxes were thrown around, much to Dante's frustration, but a quick display of her powers and saving some very important officials' lives was enough to get her what she needed. There were not a lot of devil hunters around, and they needed all the help they could get. That also helped fast-track Trish into getting licenses for her weapons. Dante couldn't describe the immense relief he felt when Trish revealed that she'd kept the Sparda and had brought it with her off the island. He felt it was only natural that he give her Luce & Ombra as well. With everything cleared out the way, they were officially devil hunting partners.

"Hello?" Dante called out once they entered. The first floor was an utter wreck, with multiple tables and chairs overturned or destroyed. There was no one in sight.

"This is Devil May Cry! You said you were hiding in the first floor, right?"

A woman peeked her head out from behind the reception desk. She looked terrified, but relaxed a bit when she saw them.

"Ah! Yes! That's right," she stood up and dusted herself off. She walked over to them, fearfully looking around.

"We killed all the bugs if that's what you're worried about," Trish offered.

"W-well, yes, but that's not all," the woman said. She straightened herself. "There will be more. The demons kept coming, one after the other until there were too many to count. Most of my coworkers got away, but the others..." She struggled not to cry.

"I'm sorry," Dante said.

She shook her head. "Some may still be alive. I saw them being taking down to the basement in one piece. I have hope, but..."

"What's your name?"

"Lana Harper."

"Alright, Lana. You need to get to the police station the next block over. Trish here will escort you. Once we're done, we'll call you."

"B-bu-but-"

"You'll be safe. I promise."

"And the others?"

"I'll get them out too."

"Al-alright."

"I'm coming with you," Trish said to him in a low voice.

"Not until you get her out of here."

"But-"

"No buts. We may be devil hunters but we're also protectors of the people. We need to make sure she's safe."

"...yeah. I know. We still need to get paid, after all."

Dante glared at her. Trish smirked.

"Oh, lighten up. I was just kidding," she laughed. She held her pistols up in a shrug. "I'll be right back. Just don't do anything without me."

She led Lana out of the building. "Follow me."

Dante turned around to face the dimly lit hallway leading to the back. He couldn't detect any demons in any upper floors, but could feel something from below. He gripped his guns. Something was off. It wasn't just demons down there...

Trish returned soon after, walking into the office nonchalantly.

"Shall we?"

Dante smiled. "Let's go."

They headed into the hallway with their guns drawn. The closer they got to the basement, the stronger the feeling was. When they turned the corner, they hit a dead end. Standing in front of them was a door bolted shut, with no other way down.

"Alright," Dante said. Grabbing Rebellion, he swung it down and sliced the door handle clean off, sending it flying and unlocking the door. He kicked it down the stairs it was hiding and descended.

As they walked down the dark stairway, they could hear a loud warbling from beneath. It didn't sound organic, rather it sounded like magic. As if multiple spells were being cast at once. The stairway started to light up with purple light the farther they descended.

"This is definitely black magic," Trish spoke up from behind him. "It's not just some summoning spell. It's far more powerful."

"I knew there was something off. The demons are being brought here, but by who?"

Once they got to the bottom, Trish wrinkled her nose in disgust. The place reeked of bodily fluids. And those fluids weren't of human nature, either. Several of the office's employees were encased in gooey sacs all over the basement. Their eyes were closed, but they had looks of discomfort on their faces. Who wouldn't when being stuck inside demon bugs' eggs? They could see in the distance a Beelzebub skitter over the inert body of a male employee, squeezing some goo from its backside all over him. Soon, the man was encased in the sac and was carried off to the side, where he lay next to a female employee. Dante shook his head in disgust. He wanted to break open the sacs right away, but still had to investigate the magic user.

They walked further into the basement to see a giant purple portal hovering in the air, with demonic runes written on the ground in a circle beneath it. Standing in the center of the circle was a woman chanting in some forbidden language. As she finished her incantation, five more Beelzebubs emerged from the portal.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The woman turned around in surprise as the demons she just summoned dropped around her, disintegrating as they died. Dante and Trish lowered their guns.

"Sorry, but we got a call about a bug infestation. Gotta do our job, you know," Dante said nonchalantly.

"Ah, if it isn't the son of Sparda himself," the old woman smiled. "And the former servant of Mundus, too. It's an honor to meet you." She had wrinkly skin, crooked teeth, and a hunch. Her voice was raspy, her hair was white, and she looked far more frail than she really was. The only thing missing was a cloak of some kind. Instead, she wore a janitor's outfit.

"Trust me, the feeling's not mutual. I don't like to hurt old ladies, but you seem to be the cause of the problem here, so you're gonna have to step aside."

"And leave my work unfinished? Oh no, I can't do that. I can do anything but that. My job is vital for my lord's return, it would do him no good to only be able to stick his eye out of this portal."

Dante raised Ivory and aimed it at her face.

"I wasn't asking."

The hag ignored him. She turned her back to him and looked back up at the portal, putting her hands on her hips.

"Do you ever think about the future, son of Sparda?"

Dante didn't lower his gun. Trish looked at him.

"It's exciting, pondering the unknown, deciphering signs that point to what is yet to come. What if this were to happen, or that? How would that change us as people, and how can we prepare for it? Thinking about the future can leave one daydreaming for hours, fantasizing about it and hoping it will come soon."

She turned around. "Or it could leave one insane. If one were to be able to tell the future, he could control his own fate. He could lead a life full of pleasures, tranquility, or power. He would be able to control not only his own fate, but everyone else's. He would be obsessed with what it means to be right or wrong, good or evil, content or ambitious. He would never stop thinking about it, with the process going through his mind again and again and again and again and again until he's dead, his mind having left long before his body."

The hag chuckled, reading Dante's unimpressed face. "I know what you're thinking. Indeed, I am insane. In the humans' point of view, that's all I ever was, the batty old janitor who talked to herself all the time and didn't give a damn about the rest of the world. 'Margaret is crazy!' they said. 'She'd be in a retirement home if she wasn't so good at cleaning.' they said. Well, nothing they said ever mattered. Because I am the one who will show them the truth. That the future is doomed, and there is only one way for us humans to survive."

Dante laughed and shook his head. "You part of a cult, granny? Every guy that's ever said that had some weird devil worship going on. May or may not be related to having daddy issues."

"No," Margaret said in a low voice. "I'm all alone, working tirelessly to save the world. You may have done so just a few days ago, but you only gave it a moment's rest. I've seen the future, son of Sparda. A glimpse, mind you, but a clear one all the same. In the future, there will be war. Multiple sides of conflict, and mass devastation. There is no way on earth we can survive that. But in hell? There is a way in hell. My lord showed me the way when he reached out to me. I know more than anyone that this is the only chance we have!"

"And that is?"

"Bringing hell on earth. Once my lord steps foot on this land, he'll be able to channel my witchcraft and bring forth his entire clan! As we summon more and more demons, we'll have an army! The human world will have nothing to fear once we have our guardian angels to protect us!"

"They're the farthest thing from angels," Trish said. "I think it's time for that retirement home."

"Ah, it's too late for that. My lord is already almost here. Once he feasts on the sacrifices I laid out for him, we'll get right to work. Attack!"

Instantly, another swarm of Beelzebubs appeared, swirling above Trish and Dante. While Trish charged her shots at them with lightning, Dante advanced on Margaret with Rebellion.

"Eeeyah!" He thrust the blade's tip at her, but a large hand suddenly grabbed him and lifted him into the air. He looked down to see a Nobody had been lying in wait for him. The demon clenched its hand, attempting to crush him, before throwing him roughly onto the ground.

"Dante!" Trish called out to him.

"I'm fine! Deal with the bugs!"

Dante stared down the Nobody. It laughed, dancing on its hind legs. Suddenly, it lunged. Dante rushed forward to meet it, slashing downward to deflect its hand. He fired a bullet into its head. It bounced off the demon's mask, but stunned it regardless. Getting into a stance, Dante growled as he charged up the Rebellion. Letting go, he swung the sword forward, expelling shockwaves from the blade several times, cutting through it until it fell over. Weakly, the demon reached for an exploding eyeball. Just as it was ready to throw it, Dante shot it, and it exploded right in the Nobody's grasp, killing it.

"Ha!" Trish rose into the air, delivering two rising kicks charged with lightning. In the air, she was instantly swarmed. Tapping into her demonic powers, she activated her Devil Trigger, surrounding herself in yellow energy. She started spinning violently, becoming a blur as she became an electrical storm, destroying everything in her path. The Beelzebubs flew into her zone only to get electrocuted to death.

She dropped down next to Dante, who was now firing at another Nobody. Trish could see a third one coming her way, so she stood back to back with Dante and fired at it.

"We've got to reach the old hag!" Trish yelled over the gunfire.

"These things won't leave us alone for that!"

Dante and Trish switched positions. He knelt and turned the other way, shooting at Trish's Nobody. Trish put her foot on his leg and shot at Dante's. She then lifted her leg and kicked it over Dante's head, who ducked. Standing up, the two had swapped places.

"Let's do it, just like we practiced!" Dante yelled.

"Oh Dante, I thought we agreed to do that in bed..."

"Whu-Trish!"

Trish laughed again. "Just messing with you baby."

Dante shook his head. "You drive me crazy, you know that?"

"Good thing you like it crazy."

Both getting into a stance, Dante and Trish threw their swords into a Round Trip at their respective demons. The swords spun and shredded at the Nobodies, locking them in place. Jumping into the air, the two devil hunters fired a bullet straight into the demons' open mouths as the demons stared up at them, piercing through their throats. They dive kicked diagonally, and kicked them straight in the head, breaking their necks. Landing on their feet, Dante and Trish reached their hands out to catch their swords without looking as they returned.

"Let's go!" Dante yelled.

Dante and Trish ran at Margaret, who had been busy chanting a spell. It was clearly taking a toll on her. Her voice was breaking, her skin appeared to be shriveling, and she seemed paler than the moon. Dante fired a round at her back, but she swiftly turned and swatted it away, still chanting. Her eyes were bleeding. She had a ghastly smile on her face, mad with excitement for what was to come. She finished with a grand gesture, bringing her hands up into the air.

"You're not helping anyone by doing this, granny," Dante said.

"When will you learn?" Margaret laughed. "Do you think I would do this for my own pleasure? This fucking hurts!"

"That demon you're summoning is lying to you! You can't trust a devil!"

"Once I save the world, everyone will!"

Something started to poke out of the portal, which was starting to lose stability.

"He comes! My master is finally here!" Margaret shrieked.

The ground was shaking, and Dante and Trish were struggling to hold their ground.

"I've done it! I saved the world! Soon, the war between the humans, devils, and-"

SPLAT!

The giant demon fully emerged from the portal, and with it being so high in the air, dropped straight down and promptly landed on Margaret, crushing her underneath it.

"That's going to leave a mark," Trish muttered.

"You're telling me."

Standing in front of them was a giant eyeball creature. It had a fleshy base that it sat upon, with tentacles sprouting from behind it. It stared at them unblinkingly.

"Well aren't you a beauty?" Dante aimed Ebony & Ivory. The demon instantly reached out its tentacles to block as Dante pulled the triggers. The bullets bounced off, leaving the eye intact, but slightly harming the tentacles.

"What the hell is this?"

"It's a Macrophage. Its eye can tell the future and predict all our attacks."

"Seriously? That's lame."

"It's not all that powerful, though. It can't predict the outcome of the battle, just what's going to happen. The few times it can look far into the future isn't much. Like the hag said, all she could see was a glimpse."

"Wait, so she wasn't completely crazy?"

"For all we know, she was. This demon isn't known for being trustworthy, and it clearly didn't care to keep her alive, so I doubt it wants to bring its brethren here. All the stories I've heard of these things influencing humans always ends with the human's mind breaking. Not much comes of it."

The Macrophage fired a beam from its eye, forcing Dante and Trish to separate and jump in different directions.

"How do we kill this thing?"

"You need to get behind its eye, where it can't see you. That's its weak spot."

"What's the catch?"

"It's highly responsive. Now that it knows what we want to do, it'll try its best to stop us from doing it."

Another tentacle lunged at Dante. He smacked it away with Rebellion.

"I've got a plan."

Trish leapt into action, firing Luce & Ombra rapidly, trying to bring down its defenses. While some of the tentacles blocked the eye from danger, others were still able to make out where Dante was. Running around the Macrophage, Dante dodged any that came his way, shooting them if need be, and jumped onto the platform the eye was sitting on. He brought his sword down on its back.

The Macrophage appeared to scream in pain, reeling suddenly. Dante was jerked off it as it squealed, reaching for its back with its tentacles.

"Is that it?" He asked.

"Well..."

The Macrophage had had a neutral expression up until then. It now had an absolutely enraged glare as it turned to them.

"You have to hit it harder, or else it gets mad."

"Why didn't you say so earlier?"

"Where's the fun in that?"

Dante once again shook his head and chuckled. He loved this woman.

The demon roared as its tentacles stretched, punching Dante right in the gut. As it tried to pull back, Dante grabbed onto it and was flung into the air. Letting go, he rained bullets downward again. As the demon blocked, Dante landed on top of its tentacles and tried to stab its back. Another punch landed, this time on his own. With Dante being sent flying into the wall, Trish jumped into action. She hurled Sparda at it, forcing it to keep blocking. Somersaulting over, she landed behind it and started to charge her fist. Once ready, she delivered a punch straight in. The demon wailed, flailing and throwing Trish off as well.

Before she could fall on the ground, Dante jumped up and caught her. Zipping right back onto the platform, Dante set her down and withdrew Ivory.

"Shall we?"

"Let's."

Drawing Ombra, Trish held her gun next to Dante's, aiming the finishing blow.

"Jackpot!"

BANG!

"EEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKK!" The Macrophage squealed one last time, shaking violently. Dante and Trish leapt off, rolling on the ground and holstering their guns as the demon shook and collapsed, dead.

"Guess he didn't see that one coming," Trish said.

Dante snorted. It wasn't funny at all, but the fact she thought so was.

All around them, the demonic influence disappeared. The magic circle faded away and the egg sacs containing the employees burst, freeing everyone inside and waking them up. The final Beelzebubs hiding in the shadows fell from the ceiling, dropping dead.

Dante sighed contently, putting his hands on the back of his head.

"Mission accomplished."

...

The hostage civilians were overjoyed to be alive. Rushing up the stairs and outside, they cried with joy. After evacuating everyone, Dante stuck around in the basement to make sure there weren't any remnants of Margaret's witchcraft lying around. When he came back upstairs after determining nothing was there, he was treated with the sight of Lana running back to the office at top speed. She jumped into the arms of a male employee, crying and blubbering.

"I'm so glad you're safe!" She cried.

The man cried too. "I thought I'd never see you again."

"Oh Blake..."

"Lana..."

The two stared into each others' eyes for a moment, before slamming their faces together in a passionate kiss. They paid no mind to the demonic goo all over Blake.

Trish raised an eyebrow at them before shaking her head and looking away. Dante chuckled and turned away too.

"You know, that was us just a few days ago," Dante said.

"I wasn't anywhere near that mushy."

"Well, you kind of were."

"Be quiet." Despite the way she acted, Trish couldn't help but feel warm inside watching the couple reunite. She felt immensely happy that she could share in that feeling, with her own lover right next to her.

"Thank you so much for coming," Lana approached them. "I don't know what I would have done if everyone here died. I can't imagine life without my husband."

Blake hugged her from behind. "We are in your debt. I don't know how to repay you."

"Well, we usually have a price depending on the crisis level," Trish said. "For something like this, I'd say...five thousand dollars? We did stop a demon invasion, after all."

Blake and Lana's faces dropped in horror.

"Trish!" Dante dragged her behind him. Smiling awkwardly at the couple, he said, "Don't mind her, she was exaggerating."

Trish shook her head, but had a sly smirk on her face.

...

Once they were paid the price they agreed on, Dante and Trish headed home. Hitting the shower, they were left with their thoughts as they washed up.

"Is something on your mind?" Trish asked when she noticed he was absentmindedly scrubbing her back repeatedly.

"What? Oh, no." Dante knelt and started scrubbing her behind and legs.

"There is. It's what that old hag said, isn't it?"

Dante sighed, stopping. "I usually don't listen to whatever demonic worship people spout out. But what she said about the world ending again...it freaks me out. I wasn't sure I'd be able to beat Mundus back then. I didn't show it, but I was scared. The only reason I went all out was because I thought I had nothing to lose."

Trish looked down at him. "Dante."

"And what would happen if he returned? I joked about it, but now I'm starting to think it was all just luck. How the hell do I prepare for something like that?"

"Dante!"

He stopped, looking up at her. She cupped his cheeks and pulled, bringing him up so he stood in front of her.

"This isn't like you, you know?"

Dante smiled faintly.

"Remember what I said? There's no need to worry, because the world has us. Whatever comes our way, we can handle it. You defeated Mundus, who can stop you?"

"You're right. Yeah, this isn't stylish of me at all," Dante chuckled. "Thanks, Trish."

"Any time."

Once they finished showering, they sat downstairs, relaxing. Trish sat on the desk upright and chewed on some pizza, moaning slightly. Dante sat back, reading a magazine. Looking over at her, Dante saw that she was fidgeting slightly. Something was off.

"Is something on your mind?" Dante asked her this time.

"Hmm?" Trish swallowed down the cheese. "No."

"Come on, Trish. You don't look relaxed in that sitting position at all."

"I'm fine."

"Say the first word that comes to mind when you look at me."

"Sex."

"Hmm. I guess nothing's out of the ordinary after all," he dove back into his magazine.

Trish sat there, fidgeting even more. Being put on the spot like that, she was feeling even more uncomfortable. What ticked her off was that Dante wasn't looking up to check on her at all. He was busy ogling the supermodels in the magazine.

She set her pizza down, looking around the office. Everything looked normal. Dante flipped a page. She tried ignoring that, looking at the walls and the disheveled ground. Maybe they should clean up.

Dante flipped to another page.

Turning around, she ripped the magazine out of his hands and tossed it away. Glaring into Dante's smug face, she grabbed it and pulled him into a deep kiss. She aggressively sucked on his lip, intending to leave her mark on him.

"I knew you were in heat."

"When am I not?"

She crawled over the desk and straddled him on the seat, kissing him again. They moaned happily as they filled the air with slurps and pops. Lifting her up, Dante carried her to the stairs and up to their bedroom. Still kissing, Dante opened the door and walked in.

Dropping her onto the still destroyed bed, they eagerly started stripping. Shrugging off his jacket, Dante got to work on his shirts while Trish worked at his pants. Once he was shirtless and his dick was proudly hanging out, Trish untied her corset and allowed Dante to attack her breasts, squeezing them and kissing her nipples. She moaned as she grabbed his head and kept him there, feeling moisture soak through her panties.

After sucking on both tits, Dante pulled free of her grasp and pushed the rest of his clothes off, leaving himself completely naked. Trish pulled down her pants and took off all her accessories until she was left only wearing boots. Dante's breathing quickened at seeing her like this. He attached his lips directly on her vagina, sucking on it and pulling the folds into his mouth.

"Oh!"

Dante's mouth filled with her arousal as he continued to please her down there, feeling her throb against him. Trish's hands reached down and held his head in place, fingers curling through his hair.

"Mmm. Ohhh. Ohh...I love you Dante."

"Mmm..." Dante murmured. He gently released her lips and started working his tongue inside of her.

"Ah!"

He started licking around, feeling her tight muscles clamp around his tongue. More hot liquid splashed onto it, and a burst of flavor was sent right into his mouth. Reaching as far as he could inside her, he trailed it tantalizingly over her soft walls.

"I love how your tongue feels inside me," Trish cooed.

Giving her one last lick around, Dante brought his tongue up to her clit. Tonguing it repeatedly, Trish started twitching and moaning loudly. Feeling the sensitive nerves shoot off fireworks in her head, Trish started losing control. She brought her hips up, wanting to feel even more of him. She started humping his face, moaning out. Clenching her eyes shut, she turned her head onto its side in the pillow, her arousal at an all time high. Dante's tongue touched her so quickly, so pleasurably, that when he started to suckle on her clit, she let go. Screaming, she convulsed, cumming hard. Dante opened his mouth and drank up everything she gave him. Swallowing down her cum, he stayed there, giving her a few licks as she continued to orgasm in his mouth. Eventually, she cooled off, the last of her juice dribbling out of her hole.

Dante leaned up to kiss her. Trish welcomed his tongue inside her mouth, moaning freely as she tasted herself on him. She loved how they shared her release, mixing it with spit. As they pulled back, another string of saliva connected their bottom lips. Bodily fluids coated their lips and chins.

"I love you," Trish gasped.

"Me too."

Dante started rubbing his dick across her moist bottom lips, coating it in lubrication. Trish moaned and gasped, staring into his blue eyes. Dante stared back, not breaking eye contact as he continued to move his hips up and down until he covered it in her juices. Rearing his hips back, he lined their genitals up together, then pushed in.

"Ohhhh."

"Ahhhh."

He set up a rhythm, steadily but passionately humping into her. Trish thrust back, their hips meeting each time. Pleasure exploded through their loins and in their minds as they once again became one. Rocking into her, Dante laid his chest on hers, enjoying the way her large breasts and erect nipples were squashed against him. Trish circled her arms around his neck, hugging him, and wrapped her legs around his waist. He could feel her boots touch his backside, keeping him in place. Dante leaned down and kissed her again, softly making love to her despite their aggressiveness in the beginning.

Spearing all the way in, he touched the end of her tunnel with his tip, setting off a mind-blowing experience for them. They'd been having sex every night, and through the days as well since they first did it, but they could never get enough of each other. Every time they made love, they discovered something new about each other and themselves, never dulling the experience. All the things they already discovered were quite pleasurable on their own, so each time they had sex was like doing it for the first time all over again. Their sex life could never get boring if this kept up.

Picking up the pace, their humps increased in number and fervor, wet slaps and passionate moans ringing out in the dark bedroom. Pulling out of the kiss, Dante stared into her face. All this time, he could never think of anything else when looking at it. There wasn't a single moment when he'd suddenly wake up and fall back in horror at what he'd just done with it. Every time, he could only think how lucky he was to have it in his life, and what things he could do it in the future. This only turned him on even more, and his thrusts became more violent, rocking into his lover from above.

"Dante! Dante! Dantedantedantedantedante!" Trish started saying his name. He loved it when she did that.

"Trish! Oh, Trish!" With that, he finally came, feeling her vagina squeeze him tight, forcing his cum out of him. She came at the same moment, and hot liquid fired away inside of her, rewarding for her hard work. They fell limp, Dante still lying on top of her and lodged deep inside of her, resting as his essence shot out of him and coated her inner walls. Trish could only close her eyes as she felt their combined releases mix inside her again.

Panting, Dante kissed her unresponsive lips. He pecked, smooched, and licked her beautiful red lips, reminding her who loved her and who would always be there for her to give her another pounding if she so needed it. Trish took his kisses, understanding what he meant by them. The couple eventually separated, falling asleep and letting their bodies finally rest from the night's activities.

"Ugh," Dante groaned. He turned in bed, throwing the half of the pillow he wasn't lying on over his ear to drown the sound. He really didn't need to deal with that right now.

Ring ring! Ring ring!

"Dante, go get that," Trish ordered.

"Why should I?"

"I got it last time."

"We were both wide awake then. That doesn't count."

Ring ring! Ring ring!

Trish turned away from the open door and went back to sleep. As the ringing continued, Dante figured he might as well get up and deal with it. He was closer to the door, after all. Getting up, he put on some pants and a shirt. Looking at the clock, he saw that it was already 9:47. Yawning as he walked down the stairs, he plopped into his chair and picked up the phone.

"Devil May Cry."

"Parfait," a man said on the other end.

"Password accepted. What can I do for you?"

"Please. You have to help me. I'm a priest. There are demons crawling around multiple churches every night, terrorizing us!"

"Oh yeah? Keep going."

"So far, they only attack whenever we try to officiate a wedding. It all seemed like a coincidence at first, but it's been happening every time a couple stands at the altar, and the wedding gets ruined, and the couple would usually split apart."

Dante listened to the priest intently.

"Now people are less willing to get married for fear that same fate would befall them. They're also becoming too scared to come to church. We are falling apart, can you please help us?"

Dante nodded to himself. "Sure thing. Where's the place?"

Once he wrote down the coordinates, he confirmed the meet up time and hung up. He suddenly heard the sound of high heels clicking against the stairs. He looked up to see Trish, who was still only wearing her boots, walking down it, rubbing her eyes. Dante's cock twitched.

"Mmm. What's going on?" She asked groggily. He stared at her large breasts.

"Dante."

"Hmm? Oh yeah. Get dressed, babe," He picked her up and speedily carried her up the steps.

"What? Why?"

"We've got another job."

"This soon?" Trish yawned again.

"It's important," he carried her to the shower, where they hurriedly washed up. Once they were ready, they got into Dante's car and drove off.

"A church?" Trish asked again.

"Yep. We can't let the demons ruin worship time, or any more weddings."

Trish sat back in her seat, mulling over his words. During her so far brief time in the human world, she'd been learning to adapt to their mindset, and what their values were. While Dante had scolded her on occasion for caring more about killing demons and having fun than saving the people, she knew that he was right. The more time she spent around them, the more personally she took the cases. But that didn't mean she couldn't have a little fun doing it. Dante clearly did.

Still though, she looked out the window and crossed her arms. Killing some demons to protect the people? Sounded like a piece of cake.

A/N: There we go, a filler episode of sorts to show off Dante and Trish's partnership. The Macrophage was based off the removed enemy from the first game, which is described to be an eyeball creature that'd drop from the ceiling and turn into a skeletal fish thing that'd slither on the ground. I didn't know how that'd work, so I decided to only focus on the eyeball part and took inspiration from the Giant Eye in Goblin Slayer. It looked demonic enough.

I'd also like to apologize for this announcement. Starting with the next chapter that features Vita in it, I will be pronouncing her name as vee-tah, the way it's meant to be. I went with vai-ta originally because of the term vitality, which is your health bar in game terms. But its use in La Vita Nuova has it pronounced the former way, so I'll be going with that. I know it's random and sudden, but fortunately she's only been in one short chapter so far. Until the next chapter, take care.
