Agent BM: Thx
FinntheJediPrince1025: You're about to find out
After getting some time off, asking Mr. Grouse to watch the pets, packing their bags, and picking up Lori from college, the Louds went to the airport.
"I can't believe we're going to New Orleans." said Lori.
"But whatever happened to Old Orleans?" Leni asked.
"The "old" Orleans, Leni is in France. When the French came to this country they called it, "New" Orleans." Lisa explained.
"Oh."
"So does this Mr. LeBlanc have any kids, Dad?" Luna wondered.
"Yeah, they have three kids." Lynn Sr. answered.
"Only three? Wow things must get boring in their house." joked Luan.
"I can't wait to see what kinds of sports they have there." Lynn mentioned.
"I'm not sure what I'd like to see there." Lincoln said.
"I'm really looking forward to getting there." Lucy piped up.
"You are?" questioned Lana.
"New Orleans is one of the most haunted cities in the country. It'll be full of haunted places and ghosts."
She even cracked a smile.
"I hope I get a window seat on the plane. Those are the best seats." Lola said.
"Seats, seats." Lily giggled.
Finally they got to the airport, parked Vanzilla in long term parking, and went inside. After checking in, and putting their suitcases in baggage hold, they went to their gate.
"Now kids, this is going to be a two and a half hour long flight, if you feel like you've gotta go to the bathroom do it while we're still here." Rita instructed.
"Okay." most of the kids replied.
Even though they were a little annoyed at their mom telling them to use the bathroom, they did anyway. After a while of waiting, it was time to board the plane. When it was the Louds turn, they knew they couldn't cluster together so they found different spots.
Lynn Sr., Rita, and Lily sat together. Lori, Leni, and Luna sat in a different row. Luan, Lynn, and Lincoln sat together. Lola, Lana, and Lisa sat together, with Lola getting her window seat. The only one who was sitting alone was Lucy.
"Lucy, sweetie, are you okay sitting by yourself?" Lynn Sr. called.
"Don't worry, I'm fine." Lucy assured.
Once everyone was on the plane, the door closed, the flight attendants gave the safety instructions and demonstrations, told them to switch their devices to airplane mode, and then it was time for take-off. The plane rolled down the runway, and then took off into the sky.
"Whoo, I love take off." Lincoln said.
"Attention passengers you are now free to roam the plane, and we'll be coming around to take orders for refreshments. Enjoy the flight to New Orleans." a flight attendant announced.
And so that's what the Louds did, they ordered some snacks and drinks, and relaxed.
Two hours and thirty-five minutes later the plane had landed in New Orleans, Louisiana. After getting the clear to leave their plane, they all got off, and regrouped at the gate.
"Well here we are, New Orleans." Lynn Sr. announced.
The kids looked around, the New Orleans airport wasn't that different than the one back home.
"Come on, we better get to baggage claim." Rita informed.
They went down got their bags, and Lynn Sr. called Joseph.
"Okay, he's in waiting area." he informed his family.
They went there, and Lynn Sr. saw a man holding up a sign that read, Louds. This was Joseph LeBlanc, he was around Lynn Sr. age, had dark skin, short black hair and beard, and he wore a red shirt, black pants, and brown shoes.
"Joseph."
"Lynn."
The two man shared a hug.
"You remember my wife, right?"
"Hi, Joseph." greeted Rita.
"Rita, great to see you again."
"And here are our kids." Lynn Sr. introduced.
The kids all said, "Hi" and "Hey".
"It's nice to meet you all. Now let me see. This is Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lincoln, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, and Lily." Joseph said.
"Wow, he got us in oldest to youngest order." Lincoln replied.
"Come on, the ride's outside." Joseph ushered.
"Is there a bus we can take to your house?" asked Lynn Sr.
"No, bus, but I did rent a ride big enough for us all." Joseph explained.
They went to the parking lot, and came up to a van, much larger than vanzilla.
"Wow, is this your car?" asked Lori.
"No, I just rented it for your visit." Joseph told her.
Then they all got in, and the kids were really impressed by it.
"Wow, these seats are really comfy." Leni observed.
"And they don't feel sticky." added Luna.
"Or soggy." Luan mentioned.
"They're not springy either." Lynn piped up.
"And they're not slouchy." Lincoln mentioned.
"Everyone all buckled up?" asked Rita, as she fastened Lily into her car seat.
"All ready." Lucy piped up, startling everyone.
Then Joseph started the van, and drove away from the airport.
