'Jinx.'

There came a whisper. An eerie, whispering echo in her head.

It wasn't the voices, Jinx could tell.

It was someone else, someone she knew since the start of becoming Jinx and Powder falling down a well.

'Jinx.'

The whispering echo came again.

"No!" Jinx yelled; gatling raised as she glared at the emptiness around her. Ignoring her sister Violet and the Enforcer that came with her, Jinx looked out into the openness. "I told you I would handle this! It's my problem!" She yelled angrily, pressing the trigger and unleashing a volley of brightly lit purple coated bullets. She hit nothing, but that wasn't the point. It was a way to ward off who was calling her.

"Powder?" Violet called softly, worried, more worried than ever before. There was a look, a strange look on her younger sister's face. Despite the change her younger sister went through, Powder was still in there crying out for her. The closeness they shared only moments ago before Caitlyn showed up, it was enough for Violet to see just how hurt her sister was.

'Jinx.'

"I know you!" Jinx/Powder said, shaking her head, "you said I could trust you, right? You said you would give me some time with my sister!" again she fired randomly somewhere she heard the voice echo in the deep smog.

"Jinx!"

This time the voice was gruff, she turned and saw him. Without batting an eyelash, she turned and fired, but all she hit were wooden crates.

"Powder, what's wrong?!" Violet asked worryingly.

Jinx ignored her. "I know you'll kill Vi before she gets a chance to explain, you told me so yourself remember! But I don't want her dead, I just want..." Jinx paused mid-sentence, unsure of what she would have said. After beating up Sevika and leaving the message behind in bright paint, Jinx left to find her long lost sister after the disaster that ruined her years ago. Maybe that was why she kept that flare? Somehow Jinx/Powder knew that her sister was still out there.

Jinx and Powder, even if was only in her mind and belief, Violet was still their older sister and they both loved her.

"Whatever we have, I won't give her up, not to you" Jinx whispered, lowering her gatling and shook her head, staring at the emptiness.

Saying those words, made her chest ache. But that sinking feeling Jinx had in the pit of her stomach, all of it went away when something had disturbed her senses.

There was something heavy in the air. A feeling that was felt by all three of them.

Violet and Caitlyn shivered. In their mind, what they felt was evil.

"I'm hurt Jinx, I didn't know you had that little bit of faith in me?"

A voice broke the short silence, somehow, someway, a person sitting on the railing with one leg crossed over the other. That person sat behind Jinx.

Silently, Jinx met the masked face of her lover, the titled "Demon" of the Undercity.

He was a man dressed in a large black trench coat with a grey fur collar decorating it, the coat was zipper-less, where anyone could see his black clothing underneath and the tattered blue-grey scarf wrapped around his neck. The loose end dangling down showed a unique symbol on it - nine reddish-brown circles of varying sizes atop a larger green-grey circle, black baggy pants and open-toed black boots. Knowing his style, Jinx knew underneath the long sleeves of his coat he had on elbow-length black fingerless gloves wrapped in reddish-brown studded belts just as those same belts wrapped around his shins.

What stood out the most was the white porcelain mask he had on. Fox came to mind when describing the shape of it, but its features were much sharper, something he referred to as a Kitsune.

Jinx could tell his focus was on her, and only her. But that mask made it so hard to understand what was going underneath it sometimes.

Even if they had a special relationship, that wouldn't stop her from trying to put blow a few holes in him, but he would easily shrug those off. She'd dare use some of her special grenades, but somehow, he'd replace himself just before they'd bite into him.

"You promised you wouldn't come, Menma" Jinx murmured. She wouldn't forgive him for this. She decided to take off those training wheels and make this bold move in contacting her sister - even when doubts seeped into her mind about the idea.

Seeing him appear out of nowhere startled her a little, but seeing as Powder knew the masked man, a small part didn't know how to feel about that. Could Powder have been followed? Was he another of Silco's men? Possibly if Powder knew the guy. But for some reason, the two seeming to talk low enough just between them, there was this odd feeling in Violet's chest. The hardened prisoner gave a look, a thin brow raised from the way her sister was looking at the strange masked man.

Violet crackled her knuckles. Violet had the deep, deep yearning to punch and pummel her fists into that masked bastard's face.

Behind her she heard the slump form of Caitlyn falling back, Vi stared back a little shocked to see the strong cupcake she met was looking towards the pair like she'd seen a ghost.

"You said you trust me in doing this on my own" Jinx gave a tired sigh. Things really weren't going the way she thought they would.

"I do trust you Jinx" Menma said, gently brushing her long bang away from her eye. Her bluish-purple eyes stared up at him, his weird display of affection showing. "But I can feel everything you're feeling, and I just wanted to know why" that's when he looked up and saw the pink-haired sister Jinx always seemed to talk about - more than even she realized.

"So, you're Violet" Menma said aloud, walking around the crazy bluenette as he stared down the older sister of Jinx.

"And who the hell are you?!" Violet asked, a grave tone in her voice.

"The Demon of the Undercity" Caitlyn whispered in shock. Violet heard her, but that didn't stop her from raising her fists.

Jinx stared back, hands on the trigger of her gatling in case he tried anything.

The masked man stared before he answered, and what he said made the hairs on the back of Violet's neck stand up.

"I'm the guy that's dating your sister."

If any of you have noticed the small pattern, three of these chapters contains only a small glimpse of either characters like Menma and Naruto. The first chapter has Naruto and Menma as brothers and they end up in the League of Legends universe for freedom. The second chapter is Naruto who has a disfigured, demonic right arm - different from most ideas. And the third, is a Menma story where he is Jinx's lover.

Crazy and Hate Incarnate. A combination that's has a whole lot of wrong.

Anyway, please review and I will also add that one last idea one-shot chapter will be posted. After that, I will make a POLL for anyone to vote and decide which of these one-shot chapter deserves to be a full story.
