After the initial awkwardness of Harry and Rose standing there either side of the doorway, Rose stepped back after a few moments and signaled for Harry to come into her bedroom. He was holding a book in his arms, "I thought you were dead…" he told her slowly, Rose couldn't help but think that he was looking at her like he had recognized her. "You have mum's eyes…"

Rose gulped as she felt a sharp pain of – well she didn't even know what this feeling was. "I do?" she said softly, "how do you know?"

Harry gave her a small smile and opened the book that he was holding, Rose moved closer and looked at it. She could see photos, just like the one at the Weasley's they were moving. She looked closer at the photo he was showing her, it was them…the four of them. "I didn't even know you existed until a few weeks ago.." Rose told Harry a matter of fact, "Dumbledore told me you that you stayed with your…" Rose let out a little cough and corrected herself, "our aunt and uncle….That must have been nice?"

Harry let out a small laugh, "As nice as potions with the Slytherins.." Harry smiled at her, Rose politely smiled back at him, really not understanding if this was a good or bad thing. "It wasn't" he told her.

Rose and Harry must have spent hours talking about everything, Harry told her all about his years at Hogwarts, how he had fought Lord Voldemort in the first year, flew a stolen car from the Weasley's and flew it into Hogwarts. Rose couldn't help but smile, her and Harry were just like two peas in the pod – apart from the fact that she hadn't stolen a magic car but just a normal one and, in her defense, she had returned it back to its owner – but that was a story for another time. Harry spoke about the Dursley's and the Weasley's and Rose had told Harry that she had spent a few weeks with them and Hermonie learning the basics for school.

"So do you know what house you are in yet?" Harry asked her, Rose shook her head no.

"I don't even have a wand yet, let alone house." Rose laughed, "It's not too late for them to say actually we don't want you."

"Don't worry Rose, I will make sure that you have everything you need." Harry told her, squeezing her hands reassuringly.

Days had started to go by, and Harry was true to his word, he had shown her where to get money out of her vault and that was the most interesting experience she had ever gone through. Goblins – and they were so rude. But she couldn't help but let out a small smile when she remembered the shock on the Goblins face and the whispering of 'Rosalie Potter' going around the bank.

She had managed to get everything she needed including a wand and an owl that she called Gandalf. Her and Harry spent almost every last minute of the day with each other and she wouldn't have believed it, but she liked having him around.

It was two days before they were due to go to Hogwarts and Rose had woken up extra early and slipped a note under Harry's door to say she had gone out to look around and would be back in a few hours. She knew he wouldn't be up for another few hours, but she was desperate to explore Diagon Alley without her famous brother – she noticed how people would stop and stare at him in the street. The thought of this filled her with fear and dread, would this then happen to her when people realized who she was? The girl who vanished- it didn't have the same spin as they 'the boy who lived,' but this was completely a different new ball game.

Rose looked around the street, and finally settled on going into Flourish and Blotts. She was looking at the books, taking it all in when someone bumped into her. "Watch where you're going," came a cool icy tone, Rose looked up and saw that a pale blonde boy in a black suit scowling down at her.

Rose scowled back, "I think you will find you bumped into me," she rolled her eyes at him and turned back to the book that she was looking at.

"Do you know who you're-" the boy was about to say, but Rose interrupted him by snapping the book shut and placing it back on the shelf and staring at him.

"I am not talking to you," she told him, "you are talking to me….well were," Rose turned away from him, flicking her hair behind her and getting ready to walk out of the shop.

"Wait," the boy told her, "I haven't seen you before in Hogwarts, I would have recognized a girl as pretty as you" He nodded towards the parchment Rose was holding in her hands.

"That's because I haven't been to Hogwarts, I've transferred this summer," Rose told him, looking at him and could see he had some sort of smirk on his face, this caused Rose to chuckle, "does that line work on all the girls?"

His smirk faded slightly, "only on the girls who know I am and how influential my family are," this guy quickly recovered his smirk and composure.

Rose shrugged, looked him up and down, "but yet here you are, by yourself influencing me to leave the bookshop. Did the bookshop upset your family if you're spending the day making their customers leave?" Rose smiled up at the boy and gave a slight laugh which in fact made the blonde guy chuckle slightly.

"Rose," She introduced herself, sticking out her hand to him

"Draco," he told her taking her hand and shaking it, "Draco Malfoy."

'That's just effing brilliant' Rose thought to herself, "Do you have a surname?" Draco asked her impatiently,

Rose shrugged, smiling whilst walking away from him and just said over her shoulder "that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

Rose was making her way back to the Leaky Cauldron pondering on her thoughts on if she had suddenly started a friendship with the enemy. Well not a friendship, but Draco had definitely tried to flirt with her and she had carried on the conversation. She knew herself that she didn't fancy him, but for some reason his utter arrogance intrigued her – there was definitely something there that he didn't want the rest of the world to know and being the nosey girl she was – she needed to find out what skeletons were locked away in his wardrobe.

Rose was so lost in her thoughts that she only snapped back to reality when Harry called her name as she walked through the door. She looked at him and saw that he was with the familiar red head family – the Weasley's who were clearly back from their holiday and Hermonie was there. Rose smiled at them all and made her way over to them, "Rose my dear," Mrs Weasley said beaming at her and pulling her in for a hug and squeeze, "its so good to see you again."

"You too Mrs Weasley," Rose said returning the smile, "how was Egypt?"

"It was lovely, and so good to see Bill," Mrs Weasley pulled away, she then turned her attention back towards Ginny and both Ginny and Rose gave each a bright smile.

Rose walked towards where Harry, Ron, Hermonie and the twins were sat. Fred pulled out the seat between him and George, "for you Miss Potter," he winked at her and Rose smiled at them and sat down between them. Was it weird that she had missed the twins in the few weeks they had been apart? She could smell their familiar scent of sandalwood and she could definitely smell the slight tinge of gunpowder in there too. Rose raised an eyebrow at Harry who just laughed at her,

"I couldn't wait to tell them," Harry told her – Rose was about to respond to Harry when she was cut off by Ron and Hermonie arguing over their pets as Crookshanks jumped at Scabbers and all three of them moved from the table.

Rose turned her attention back towards the twins, "So miss Potter," George said beside Rose getting her attention and leaned back towards Fred to look at George.

George mentally smiled at his brother who appeared to only slightly turn a shade of red with Rose pushing her back against Fred, "when were you going to tell us that you were the girl who vanished?" he wiggled his eyebrows at her, "you'll be this years celebrity."

"Probably around about the same time you were going to tell me what you've been making to smell like gunpowder," Rose smirked at George and turned her attention back to Fred and moved away to face him, "and after you've shown me the photos you took."

"All in good time my lady," Fred laughed, "but first you need to tell me who is who?" he finished, getting out two polaroid photos from his pocket and showing Rose.

Rose took the photos from Fred and studied them very carefully and frowned, "this is easy," Rose looked up at Fred, "they're both you."

George was laughing beside her and Fred looked at her in shock, "how do you do it?"

"It's not that difficult to tell you apart" Rose told him

Rose could see George shaking his head beside her, "mum, can you tell Rose which one is me?"

Mrs Weasley comes over and looks at the photos and ponders for a few moments and goes "it's this one dear," Mrs Weasley smiles at her and before anyone could tell her any different Mrs Weasley draws her attention to the Mr Weasley and Harry and notices they are in a conversation over in the corner which seems to have caught her attention.

"So does this stop you from being mad at me for not mentioning my full background?" Rose asks turning her attention back to the twins, they both laugh at her and put their arms around her shoulder,

"We could never be mad at you," George told her

"Plus when we leave Hogwarts and you've changed your name, it wont even matter." Fred countered.

Rose laughed, "And what am I changing my name to?"

"Weasley" Both Fred and George said,

"You just need to pick which one," George told him

"And like i said, i am the better looking twin," Fred chimed in.

Rose rolled her eyes, "i'm not choosing," she laughed at them

"Then guess you're stuck with both of us," Fred told her and George nodded.

"Well talking of being stuck, how about tonight you guys meet me in my room and tell me all about your experiments with explosives and i will provide the fire whiskey."

"You're on," Fred and George told her cracking a grin that made Rose's stomach somersault.
