Rose sat there silently after what had happened with the dementors, Lee and Angelina had told her all about the dementors and how they are from Azkabam. Rose noted that the twins both looked concerned over her after what had happened. She gave them both reassuring smiles and turned her attention back to the window – she couldn't stop replaying the woman's screams in her head.

"Hey Fred," Rose whispered quietly to him, shuffling herself closer to him so that no one else could hear, "did you hear screaming?"

Fred frowned and looked at her, "no I didn't," he shook his head. Rose nodded at him and gave him another reassuring smile and went back to staring out the window.

Fred and George both shot a glance to each other and shuffled themselves slightly closer to Rose so that their arms were touching hers – trying to offer some subtle reassurance. It was very clear to both the twins that Rose had noticed at all and was too lost in her own thoughts.

As expected it didn't take long for all the gossip to start and Rose soon heard gossiping going between the compartments that Harry Potter had fainted. It also didn't help that a second year had come into their compartment to say that the famous Harry Potter had collapsed. Rose mentally groaned, she had completely forgotten about Harry.

"I'm going to check on Harry," Rose told the twins, "I will be back soon." She made her way down through the train looking through the compartments to try and find him.

"And then he fainted…" a girl with dark hair was saying by the door of a compartment, "Potter - what an absolute tosser." Rose watched as this girl and the compartment laughed. Rose frowned at the girl and obviously sensing her presence the other girl turned round and Rose made eye contact with the pug faced girl. "What do you want?" She scowled.

Rose rolled her eyes, she hated girls like these - those ever so nasty clicky girls who think they are gods gift. "Trying to get past," Rose told her, "but as you can see you're taking up the all the room." Rose gave her a smirk and shoved past her as this pug girl went to speak - shutting her up as she semi fell into the compartment. Rose refused to turn around, she knew she needed to keep walking through until she got to Harry. She sighed deeply, fighting back some of the memories of her younger years. No - she wasn't going to take a trip down memory lane just yet.

Rose finally made it his compartment, she saw Harry sat on the floor, with Hermonie and Ron crouched beside him and an older gentleman opposite him. "Eat this it will make you feel better," the older guy said passing him a piece of chocolate - a weird sense of familiarity filled Rose as he spoke.

"Harry are you okay?" Rose asked finally stepping into the compartment, "I heard you fainted. That wasn't you I heard screaming, was it?" Rose already knew it wouldn't have been Harry – it was a female voice she heard screaming – but she needed to check. Maybe they could have told her something that the others didn't know.

"No," Harry told her, he ran his hand through his hair trying to catch his breath, "you heard it too?"

"But there wasn't any screaming," Hermonie told both Rose and Harry looking between the two. Rose went to say something but stopped as she watched the older guy now stand up and walk towards her, he looked terrible - his robes were shabby, he was pale, but something was odd about him. Rose looked into his eyes and could see that this wasn't his usual look, he had looked like he had seen a ghost.

"Here," he snapped a bit off his chocolate off and passed it over to her, "eat this, it will make you feel better."

Rose took it, "thank you," she said quietly to him - still maintaining eye contact trying to figure out why this man seemed so familiar to her.

"I'm going to write ahead to Professor McGonagal to make sure she is aware of what has happened." He slipped past her and started to make his way up the train. Rose glanced over to Harry and glanced back at where the guy was going too - 'screw it' she thought to herself and chased after the guy.

"Excuse me," Rose said approaching behind him, quickly adding on the "sir," and when he turned round, she gave him a small smile, "I'm really sorry to bother you, but do I know you?" Rose moved a strand of her hair behind her ear, "it's just you seem really familiar. Which is odd because well, I wouldn't - unless you went to adopt an abandoned kid." She let out a small chuckle and tried to not swallow herself up. She was doing it again, she was rambling and trying to make jokes.

"No, I'm sorry I don't think you do," the guy said who was looking rather uncomfortable.

He looked like he wanted to leave and was getting ready to turn around when she blurted out, "I'm Rose Potter," and awkwardly extended her hand out to him, this took him by surprise, and she watched as the colour drained out his face but quickly recovered.

"Professor Remus Lupin," he reached out and shook her hand. They awkwardly let go, "I should really send that owl," Professor Lupin told her before turning round and walking towards the front of the train. Rose made her way back to Harry's compartment,

"Rose," Harry looked at her, "shut the door behind you, we have a lot to talk about." Rose nodded shutting the door behind her and listened to Harry telling her all about what Mr Weasley had told her and what had happened with the dementor.

They soon arrived at Hogwarts and Rose had been so lost in her conversation with Harry, Ron and Hermonie that she only had the small window to change into her robs. Luckily she saw the twins carrying some of her luggage out and she ran over to them on the platform, "thank you, thank you, thank you," she said to Fred and George, she stopped in front of them panting slightly, "I had completely lost track of time."

"Love, don't worry about it," George told her, "plus it looks like Hagrid is looking for you and you don't want to get these wet."

"We've got them," Fred told her.

Rose turned towards where Hagrid was standing, "First years, this way." His voice boomed, "ah Rose, you're this way too. Come on now."

Rose could feel everyone's eyes on her as she walked through the Great Hall with the first years and Professor McGonagall. She could hear muttering from the four tables, a lot of guys were staring at her – but Rose carried on looking ahead of her. There was a long table in front with Professor Dumbledore and what she expected was other members of the teaching staff. However, curiosity got the better of her and she started looking around, she smiled to herself as she looked up at the ceiling and remembered what Hermonie had told her about it being enchanted. She rolled her eyes slightly because she could just imagine her coming out with that on her first evening walking through the hall.

Rose looked over at what she could assume was the Gryffindor table as she saw Harry, Hermonie and the Weasley boys. They all gave her a smile and she gave a small smile back. She then looked over at the other side of the hall and saw Malfoy who made eye contact with her and smirked, he was sat with a group of boys and a dark haired girl she had shoved on the train earlier and she was definitely glaring at her. She watched as the girl grabbed hold of Malfoy's arm and Rose just smirked at them both.

"Ah," Dumbledore said at the stand, "we have a special addition to the sorting ceremony this evening." He peered down at Rose through his half moon spectacles and smiled at her briefly, "we have a new student joining the 5th year students who will be getting sorted before our new first years." This caused the whole hall to erupt in hushed whispers – though they were already whispering it was now just louder hushed whispers. Rose took a deep breath, she needed to remember that this was just like walking into any new situation and she needed to remember that her peers would definitely smell fear if she let it show.

Professor McGonagall stepped up towards the old looking hat that was just placed on the stool in front of them, she picked it up and cleared her throat, "Potter, Rosalie." The whole hall burst through hushed whispers, you could hear pick up random parts of conversations 'Potter' and 'it can't be, could they be related?' Rose chose to pay them no notice, she flicked her hair over her shoulders and stepped up towards the hat and sat down facing the hall- she could see all the different tables muttering and gossiping.

The hat was placed on her head, and it started to speak and the whole hall went silent. "Rosalie Potter, eh? Didn't think I'd ever see the day. Especially after your brother joined us. This is very interesting…."
