Rose was running as fast as she could. They were after her and it didn't matter how quickly she ran, what direction she went - they would always appear. She was running down a hallway and she could see a door right at the end. She could feel tears prickling her eyes as fear started swallowing her up on the inside. She had finally made it, she grabbed the door handle and tried opening it - it was locked.

"Fuck!" She shouted, slamming her fist on to the door. She turned around as quickly as she could but they had already closed in. She was trying to figure out who they were, they were all cloaked and laughing at her. "Please don't," she started to sob, "no, no, no," she continued shouting it as they got closer and closer and closer.

Rose gasped for air as she woke up, covered in water. "What the fuck!" She screamed sat upright - she was staring at Angelina, Katie and Alicia, behind them stood Hermonie who was looking particularly guilty holding her want and Ginny.

"You wouldn't wake up," Hermonie quickly said lowering her wand and putting it away.

"You were shouting in your sleep," Angelina said sitting on the bed next to her, "we tried waking you up but you started sobbing. Hermonie and Ginny came in when they heard your shouting."

Rose could feel her face turning red with embarrassment, "here," Ginny said passing her a towel to try herself. Rose took the towel and smiled at her weakly, trying not to let the embarrassment show. "Don't worry, when we came in we put a silencing charm on the room. I think it's only us who heard." Ginny patted her hand.

"I'm so sorry," Rose was finally able to say.

The girls all smiled at her, "you don't need to apologise" Alicia told her, "we put up with Angelina's snoring and that's way worse." She said winking at her and Angelina slapping her friend on the arm with mock hurt.

Rose made her way down to the common room, trying to forget that dream. As she made her way down she saw Hermonie sat on one of the chairs and she instantly stood up as Rose approached, "I thought we could walk to breakfast together." She said quickly smiling at her.

"Thanks Hermonie," Rose said walking alongside Hermonie out of the common room, "you're a good friend, terrible liar." Rose laughed looking at her, "what's your ploy?"

Hermonie looked shocked, "how did you?" She shook her head, "look, your dream. Have you ever had dreams like that before?" Rose shook her head, wanting to hear where Hermonie was going with this. "It's just I think you should speak to Professor Dumbledore about it, it seems really strange that you had this dream and you and Harry have Sirius Black after you and now this is happening."

"Look," Rose said quickly as they approach the Great Hall quicker than expected, "I will consider it, but please don't say anything to Harry just yet. He's only going to worry."

Hermonie didn't have a chance to respond as Harry had approached them by the doorway, "Rose!" Harry said smiling at her, "do you have a minute?"

"I'll catch you up," Rose said to Hermonie and followed Harry out of the hall and outside onto the courtyard.

"I just wanted to check that you're coming to the quidditch match tomorrow?" Harry asked her smiling.

"Of course," Rose said smiling back at him, "how are you feeling now?" She paused for a moment, "you know - since traingate?"

Harry seemed to pause for a moment, "fine," he said quickly, "it's just the Slytherins that are making a big deal out of it. Especially Malfoy."

"Just ignore them," Rose said, "plus when you beat Hufflepuff tomorrow, they will be too busy worrying about themselves."

Harry then told Rose what happened in Tawnley's divination class and all about the grim. Rose could feel her body stiffen up - she hadn't expected much - honestly she didn't, but was Harry going to have every single year followed by some sort of drama and was she now going to be linked in with it. She desperately wanted to tell him about the dream, she was trying to find the courage too when Harry gave a small smile and started speaking on a new topic, "so you know that Hogsmeade is in a few weeks?" Harry paused, "and we're not able to go."

Rose frowned, "what do you mean we can't go?"

"Well our permission slips aren't signed. Which means I thought we could hangout?" Harry asked hopefully and Rose felt a tinge of guilt swarm over her.

"Sorry Harry, but I'm allowed to go," Rose said and she saw Harry's face drop.

"But you don't-"

"I have no guardians," Rose said quickly interrupting him. "I spoke to Professor McGonagal about it a few days ago and sh said as long I didn't go round shouting I was Rose Potter she would allow me to go." Rose brushed some strands of hair behind her ear, "but if you want I can hang out with you instead?" She quickly added in trying to make Harry feel better.

Harry shook his head, "no it's okay!"

Rose was about to protest to her brother but she saw him tense up and scowl, she turned round and saw Malfoy walking down the corridor staring at them, crabbe and goyle walking behind them.

"Hi Draco!" Rose smiled waving at him, she watched Draco's face seeing it change to a smile and then quickly turning into a frown looking away from them both. Rose laughed and turned her attention back to Harry who was now frowning at her, "what?" Rose asked innocently, "if him and his family are really that evil, then the phrase keep your friends close and your enemies closer is quite a fitting role here." Rose winked at Harry heading back to the great hall.

Another day was over and Rose had snuck some food out from dinner that evening from the great hall. She would be making her way back to the Gryffindor common room shortly as everyone thought it would be a great idea to play truth or dare. Fred and George had mentioned it to Lee, and obviously he told Angelina who then told Katie and Alicia who then of course ran with it and now it was a big thing. The Gryffindor quidditch team were at their final practice currently before the big match tomorrow so Rose took this chance to take some down to where she had seen Paddie last and hope that he returned and she could give him some food again.

Rose had just sat down by the tree when she saw the Paddie walking out from the bushes. The dog approached her and Rose smiled, "hey Paddie," she greeted the dog scratching behind its ears, "I've got some treats for you." Rose dived into her bag and got out the food from the great hall and watched Paddie eating.

"You know Paddie," Rose said positioning herself a bit better against the tree and looking out across the lake, "we are just like each other, out there in this world alone."

A hour had gone by and Rose had found herself spilling her soul out to this dog. She had spoken about some of her troubles adjusting to this world and how she thought she would always be living in some sort of shadow of her brother - he knew so much about their parents and she knew nothing. He was the boy who lived and no one had even come for her until recently. She didn't even know where she was going to go at the end of the school year.

"You know Paddie," Rose said turning her attention onto the dog and looking at him, and Rose honestly thought the dog was listening to her, "Harry came to me with all these photos. All I had is the one same memory that flashes to my mind. The one where my mum falls to the floor and I come crawling out from under my bed, screaming and crying for her. Then he finds me, and then it goes black." Rose closes her eyes and leans her head against the tree, whilst she does this she feels Paddie nudging his head against her hand and placing his head on her lap. She lets out a small smile and gives him a reassuring stroke. "What happens if this Sirius Black gets us, Paddie? I heard he was his most loyal follower - Harry told me about what happened in Divination. What if I lose him too?"

Rose could feel her eyes starting to well and she quickly shook her head, "Paddie I need to go, I will come by tomorrow, promise." She said quickly giving him fusses, "you're such a good boy!" She told him standing up and grabbing her bag and making her way to the Gryffindor common room.

Rose was sat in a corner of the common room, she was sat with Angelina, Katie and Alicia waiting for the boys to come downstairs from the dorm.

"Hi Rose!" A couple of first years said walking past her and Rose smiled and said hello back watching them as they walked off.

"Why are first years saying hello to you?" Alicia asked amused. It's not like she was against it, and everyone in Gryffindor house were friendly but usually a lot of the years just stuck to their years.

"Oh, i erm, saved them from Parkinson." Rose said, waving and smiling at another group walking by waving at her, "them too! Turns out she has been terrorising them and I put a stop to it. Just call me captain America!" He then did a small salute and winked and the girls looked at her confused,

"captain what?" Katie asked, frowning along with the other two girls.

"You know the comic?" Rose asked slowly, "have you guys never heard of it?"

"Muggle reference?" Angelina asked and Rose shrugged,

"I guess it must be." Rose said, turning her attention to Fred, George, Lee and Oliver Wood walking down the stairs to meet them. Rose had met Oliver a few times briefly, but hasn't actually had a proper conversation - it had been more just likes of telling Harry to stop talking to me as he needed to get to practice and the next time it was for the twins to put me down and to stop distracting his quidditch team.

"Look here comes your boyfriend," Alicia nudged Katie nodding towards Oliver.

"He's not my boyfriend." Katie said, nudging Alicia and trying to get her to be quiet.

"But you want him to be," Angelina smirked and Rose saw Katie's face blush with embarrassment.

Rose smirked, "well I have the best idea." She turned to the girls and winked.

The game of truth and dare had been going on for a few rounds. Nothing particularly exciting had happened, mainly because Angelina, Katie and Alicia kept picking truth and one of them would ask them a truth that wasn't too strenuous. Angelina had been asked who she thought the hottest boy was in school and she picked Cedric Diggory, with this Lee looked furious but quickly recovered. Alicia had admitted her dirty secret was a muggle girl band that would play in secret. Fred and George both played dares who Lee told them to put some dungbombs down in the dungeons. Oliver was dared to not mention quidditch for the rest of the evening.

"This is so boring," Rose groaned, "Katie, truth or dare. And I swear if you don't pick dare I'm just going to stop playing." She laughed and Katie groaned,

"Dare," she said begrudgingly and one of the girls went to give her a dare but Rose stopped them,

"I dare you to snog Oliver for 2 minutes in the broom cupboard." Katie went to protest, "no," Rose said quickly, "you picked dare. You have two minutes."

Rose watched as Katie and Oliver walked over to the broom cupboard, "you're so bad," Alicia whispered into Rose's ear. Rose grinned and looked over to Fred and George who were grinning mischievously.

Oliver and Katie came back looking a little flustered but were definitely grinning from ear to ear.

"Right Potter," Oliver said grinning, "truth or dare?"

"Dare!" Rose said confidently.

"I dare you to test out the new potion George and Fred have tried created." Oliver said,

"No way!" George said

"Yeah, only we try out the products," Fred chipped in.

Lee was trying to cover up his laughs and the girls including Rose looked confused.

"First off, is this potion going to make me be sick?" The twins shook their heads no, "am I going to get anything horrible like boils or anything like that?" They shook their heads no again. "Is it going to have a permanent effect?"

The twins shook their heads no again, "the effects should only last a maximum of a 12 to 24 hours. Maybe less," Fred said.

"No physical effects just emotional," George added in.

Rose nodded taking it in, "well I never say no to a dare" Rose stood up, "where is it?"

Fred and George both stood up, "it's in our room." Fred said looking worried.

"Come on," George said walking up the stairs and motioning for Rose to follow.

"Don't look so worry," Rose whispered to Fred, "I know your stuff won't kill me."

"Oh and George," Oliver shouted over before they went into the dorm and the three of them looking over, "you need to be the one who gives it to her."

George, Fred and Rose went into the dorm and Rose sat on the edge of the bed watching George. He bought out a small vile which held a pink liquid in and passed it over to Rose. She took the cork off and it smelt like sandalwood, oranges and gunpowder. "This smells so nice," Rose hummed taking another sniff.

"What does it smell like?" Fred asked curiously

"You guys," Rose said shrugging, "okay I'm gonna take this now. What exactly is this gonna do?" She took a twig and downed the vile.

"It's a love potion," George said quickly, so quick in fact that Rose had almost missed it.

"What?" Rose said angrily but after a few moments all anger disappeared, and she felt this overwhelming state of happiness fill her.

"Rose?" Fred asked which got Rose's attention and she looked over to him, "are you feeling okay?"

Rose nodded, "yeah I feel great Freddie. Have you seen George?"

"I'm here." George said hesitantly and Rose quickly looked in the direction of George's voice. That's when she felt the overwhelming sensation of love hit her when she saw him. He was literally the most attractive boy she had ever seen.

"George!" Rose practically shouted with exciting and she lunged from the bed wrapping her arms around his neck, before he could say anything her lips crashed down onto his.

When Rose woke up the next day she woke up in a wave of panic. She sat bolt right in bed when she woke up and realised she wasn't in her dormitory with the other girls, she was in fact in the hospital wing.

"What the effing hell happened last night," she mumbled to herself and that's when the flashback happened, she had kissed George. She sat there for a moment frozen trying to desperately rack her brain for any other memories of last night. She remembered the dare and made a mental note that she would be having a word with Wood. She remembered holding onto George in the common room and telling him how much she loved him and not letting go off him.

'Oh god,' Rose cringed at herself, everything else went a bit hazy and she couldn't picture things perfectly only snippets - she felt mortified, but one flashback of last night stood out. Fred's face through all her memories was angry and then he shoved Oliver Wood but before she could even dive any further Madam Pomfrey came rushing in.

"Ah Potter, you're awake!" She said hurrying to the side of the bed and placing a jug of water beside her, "how are you feeling?"

"Groggy," Rose said honestly, "weird." She finished off not sure on what exactly had happened.

"Well it's a good thing your brother and his friends bought you in," she said, "you had been given a love potion and by all counts they were furious. Anyway, you should be fine so you're welcome leave."

Rose nodded, but before she even moved the doors opened and Harry had come in. He had a facial expression of a mix of anger and concern. "Are you okay?" He asked Rose and she nodded, "I could have killed Wood and the twins. Wood should have never have suggested it and they shouldn't have gone through with it."

"Harry," Rose said cautiously, "the twins tried to talk me out of it but I said I would take it. Granted I didn't realise what it was until I had it." She paused for a moment, "how bad was it?" She could feel her whole body wanting to swallow itself up and never be seen again.

"Not that bad," Harry said honestly, "George got me, Ron and Hermonie to take you down to the hospital wing whilst he calmed down Fred,"

"What do you mean calm down Fred?" Rose asked, the flashback of Fred shoving Oliver Wood.

"Fred hit Wood," Harry said pausing for a moment before adding the next part, "Wood had argued with Fred and George after you had taken the potion that he had done them a favour - it was clear that they fancied you and now he helped sort out the problem and that they could finally focus on quidditch."

Rose could feel her stomach knotting up and she could feel her anxiety rising - making her stomach feel terrible. She continued to sit there staring in silence at Harry who then continued talking, "Fred had said he had no right doing that, and George got angry too and Oliver then got defensive saying well she's finally picked one-" and before Harry could say anymore, Rose threw up all over him.
