"You guys felt that right?" Homura asked the rest of the Crimson Squad when she arrived back at the hideout. She saw that everyone else was on guard, weapons in hand.
"Homura-san, glad to see that you've made it back safely." Yomi told her before pointing her sword at her neck. "If it really is you?"
Homura wasn't surprised by her actions. With disguise technique possible this was the right procedure. If she didn't do that Homura would've gone on a lecture about it.
"What is Homura's favorite food?" Yomi asked her.
"Meat." Homura instantly responded. Not hard enough. Nothing hard enough for someone to know, especially if they were from Hebijo.
"How does Homura-chan feel about Asuka?" Haruka asked her. It was a good enough question if if was the first one.
"She's my rival, and I'm the only one allowed to beat her." Homura responded instantly. Harder, but again, nothing that they couldn't find out.
"What was the name of the guy who treated us to dinner last week, and what was it?"
"Ren Amamiya and Yakiniku." Harder, but not hard enough.
"Try to do a comedy act." Hikage asked else then had a look of understanding on their faces.
Homura then struck a weird pose where her arms were behind her back pressed together and she was on the ground with her body completely straight. A perfect pose of a shark if she do say so herself. Truly one of her best poses. So hurry up and laugh. When she heard no one laugh she assumed that something was wrong?
'Why aren't they laughing!?'
"Good. It's you." Haruka said with a sigh ofn relief.
"Yeah, no one else other than Homura would try to do that." Mirai said in agreement.
"Yeah, completely Homura."
"No one else but Homura-san." Yomi added.
"What?! How was that verifying anything!?"
"Anyways, there was a Shinobi here." Yomi said, ignoring Homura's current fuming attitude.
"The real problem is where they came from though." Hikage pointed out. "They can be two good Shinobi sparring or a good and evil Shinobi fighting their own battle."
"Anyway, I'm not sure about going into town alone though." Haruka told them. "We should probably go in pairs when we leave out."
"Though our hideout's defenses would be weakened." Homura pointed out to them.
"Maybe we can set alarms in the woods." Mirai suggested.
"No." Hikage denied. "We don't have the resources for them, nor the time to set them up in this situation."
This situation is truly becoming a pain for them. What can they do in this situation?
"ARGGHH! That's it! I say we take the fight to them!" Homura said in irritation. She then started
"If we kick their asses hard enough, I'm sure they'll forget everything about us!" She said to them.
"Wait a minute. Haruka, do you have something that can help?" Hikage asked her.
"Oh, I think I might." Haruka then walked over to her area. She then pulled out half a dozen bottles filled with a questionable blue liquid in them. asked
"It's designed to weaken enemies while also inducing hallucinations in them. Anything they see while taking this would make their words doubtful." Haruka told them.
"So we drug them?" Yomi asked, summing up what they would do.
"How can we get them to drink it?" Mirai asked though.
"Oh, Mirai-chan, this medicine can be used on them regardless of whether they drink it or not. Putting on their skin is just as effective as drinking it in any scenario." Haruka informed them.
"Okay, so we'll each get a bottle to use against any enemy we meet." Homura decided.
"Though one thing to know. An entire bottle will work for one whole day. One drop should work for half an hour."
"Okay. Everyone got that?" Homura asked them. Everyone then nodded towards her.
"Now what's for dinner?"

"I've confirmed various things." Wang Pai told his students after returning to their temporary hideout. The girls were busy doing various actions such as repairing whatever damages and scratches were on their weapons and cleaning them up.
"What about the leader?" Yumi asked him. Ren Amamiya knowing about them being here would definitely be a bad thing for them in this situation..
"I've returned him home after knocking him out for a bit." Wang Pai told them calmly. "He's probably certain that it's a dream now."o
"Good." Yumi said with a sigh if relief.
"In my opinion, he's most likely someone who's reawakened his family Shinobi abilities after generations." Wang Pai told them.
This surprised everyone there. That was possible?
"They can be lost?" Minori asked him, asking the question that was on everyone's minds.
"There are cases like these, where after three or four generations Shinobi abilities are suddenly reawakened in a youth. It's a rare occurrence, but it has happened before." Wang Pai told them. "It's not surprising that you haven't heard of it before."
"But I doubt he's an evil Shinobi for various reasons." Wang Pai informed them.
"One, he was surprised by the Shinobi Kekkei." Wang Pai told them. "Not just by the appearance of it, he was confused by the very nature of it. Like he's never seen it before at all. That's not the reaction of someone that is an Evil Shinobi. More like the reaction of a complete and utter civilian."
"I see." Yumi said in response. Feeling odd feelings of relief and disappointment.
"Two, his Tenshin appeared the very moment he arrived in the kekkei." Wang Pai told them. "This is obviously not normal."
How could that happen?" Murakumo asked him. She's never heard about this sort of thing happening before.
"He's most likely a result of experimentation in his ancestry." Wang Pai told them. "One that most likely went wrong."
"It's a good thing we didn't attack him immediately." Yozakura said with a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, that, like, would totally get us kicked out, at best." Shiki told her sisters. "You alright Yumichi?" She then asked her leader who was acting a little weird at the moment. A
"Oh? I'm fine." Yumi told her, doing her best to mask it from them. He's not an evil Shinobi, but how can they be sure that he's just?.
Right now Yumi was wandering around. Her day to watch over Ren Amamiya was finished.
But she wasn't watching where she was going and bumped into someone, falling on the ground herself.
"I'm sorry." A voice said to her. Yumi then looked up and was shocked to see who it was. And it was someone who she didn't expect to see at all right here and now.
It was her target. What was he doing here!? Didn't she just see him walk the other direction!?
"You alright?" Ren asked her, not knowing what was going on though her mind, reaching his hand out towards her. Yumi reached out for it, lifting her up. Yumi knew that he was handsome, but looking at his unbruised face up close was quite different. Yumi then felt her cheeks get slightly hotter. Yumi then started freezing herself in order to calm down. Yumi then noticed that his body smelled of coffee beans and that his atmosphere was calming to her.
"Oh? You're a fan of the Phantom Thieves too?" Ren asked her, pointing at her shirt.
"Eh?" Yumi then remembered that she's wearing a shirt with the Phantom Thieves logo on it. Shiki gave it to her saying "Like, wouldn't it be easier to hide your mistrust of him if you were a totes huge fangirl?"
"Y-yeah ma man." She said to him in an informal tone, immediately cringing from it. Did those words seriously leave her mouth?.
"You're fun." Ren told her with a smirk on his face. Though it didn't feel teasing to her.
"How about I make it up to you?" Ren suggested to her. "My treat.*" Rhough Ren was alreadt leading her to somewhere, not gicing hwr a say in the matter at all. Hes actually pretty pushy about things like this.
Ren took her to the closest cafe around them.
Right now they were in a local chain coffee shop. Ren insisted on doing this as an apology for bumping into her, not letting Yumi say no in this matter at all.
The waiter then brought them their drinks. Yumi settled for tea while Ren chose the coffee.
Ren then drank it, though he had a look of slight disappointment on his face, as if the coffee wasn't good enough for him.
"Are you okay?" She asked him.
"Sorry." Ren apologized to her. "It's just after living in a cafe for a year, you'd get used to expecting coffee your served to be of a higher quality compared to brand store ones."
"You lived in a cafe?" She asked him, surprised on this fact.
"Yeah. Was quite the nice and cozy place.
"So I've never seen you around before." Ren said to her. "And since this is a small rural town, you kind of see everyone at least once."
"Oh? I'm here on a school trip!" Yumi said, coming up with the excuse on the spot. Not technically a lie.
"I'm Ren Amamiya." Ren said, introducing himself with a charming smile on his face. "In my third year of high school."
"I-I'm Yumi. A third year too.".Yumi told him.
"'..Yumi." she told him.
"Yumi Yumi?" Ren responded, repeating her fake name after ther...
"Okay. Weird choice to name your child after your family name though." Ren told her, seemingly buying it.
"What year are you in?" Ren asked her, curious on this matter.
"Right now, my third year." She told him.
disgust on his face,
"Tell me what do you think of the Phantom Thieves of hearts?" she asked him, wanting to know how he'd react to this.
"They've done more than the cops are in my opinion." Ren told her with a smile on his face.
mirk on his face.
"I see." She said to him,
Yumi wanted to know what led him to using his power for such a reason. But she couldn't outright ask him without revealing herself.
So she decided to ask him a different question.
"Do you think a world where everyone is just is possible?" Yumi asked him, wanting his opinion on this matter.
"It's impossible." Ren told her, causing her to tense her jaw. Someone else was denying her grandfather's dream?
"Humans are tricky creatures." Ren said to her, adopting a serious look on his face. "There are many of us with distorted desires who'd have no problem kicking each other down for both no reason and their enjoyment." Ren told her. "Enough that it's a common problem."
Yumi couldn't deny that. The evil Shinobi we're proof of that after all. They would do both of those things with no hesitation.
"Power may be the way to unite everyone." Yumi told him. That was her plan for uniting the Shinobi schools. She'll succeed even if she has to throw away everything else to do so.
"Just forcing your own ideals on people and making them accept it won't truly help." Ren told her, denying the claim. "At the end of the day, you'll only have puppets that try to do as you say in order to please you, not something they truly believe in." Ren told her.
It may have sounded hypocritical coming from the leader of the group who changed hearts without question. But Yumi had to admit that he's raised a point.
"But is such a world filled with righteousness wrong?" Yumi tried to argue.
"Would a world like that be amazing? Yes, but if forcing everyone to agree with your ideals is the solution you get to reach that answer, then you'll be living in a world of puppets. What point is there in being righteous when no one gets a choice."
Yumi couldn't respond to him. Was there a chance that he's right?
"I see. Thank you for your time." Yumi told him,
"Hope we can have another date soon." Ren told her teasingly.
"D-date!?" Yumi was blushing completely red on her face right now.
"I-uh- I've gotta go!" She said rushing out of there.
Why was her heart beating so fast? No, rather, what was with that man?
Yumi then thought about the conversation they had before the 'date' was mentioned. Was there a chance that she was doing this the wrong way?
Yumi then felt her phone vibrate and saw that she's just got a text from Yozakura.
Yozakura: Everything's underway. We just need your command.
No. She cannot waver on this. All for the sake of showing the one who gave her everything to her, his ideal world, she'll use whatever means she has. She will eliminate all evil.
"Well what do you think?" Morgana asked him, curious about what Ren was going to do now, though having a feeling about what it'll be.
"I think we're doing the job." Ren told him confidently.
"She's not a bad person, but I can definitely tell that she's the type to do something extreme and if we leave her alone I get the feeling that things would end up terribly."
"I see. Guess we're heading back to Tokyō Tokyō."
"Never though it's be under these circumstances though." Morgana said to him. "But what about school?"
"You've seen my grades. I can miss a week and be fine." Ren assured him. Ren thought about the conversation that he's had with Hanzō last night.
"Why have they become a problem?" Ren asked him. Though Ren had a feeling that he knew what it was."Kurokage has calmed down. His righteous rage has waned."Hanzō told him. "Theirs however are still overflowing.""So, why not just have him tell them his truthful opinion?""Simple. He's too weakened to tell them. And they are far too stubborn to listen to him right now. They're trying to do everything to create the world that he once sought." Hanzo could only sigh at this."But I am curious about the perspective of one who isn't a Shinobi." Hanzō admitted, curious about his opinion. "Tell me, what do you think about that world?""Personally speaking, I'd have no problem with a world like that." Ren told Hanzō. "I don't think any regular human being like me and the other phantom thieves would.""With the absolute loosest definition of normal…"Morgana muttered to himself, not wanting to retort loudly right now when Ren was making his point."Many of us have stopped thinking in that way." Hanzō admitted to him regretfully. "All Shinobi lose something as a human at some point.""But it is a world that we'll have to reach on our own." Ren said to him, becoming serious. "If someone just tried to force it on us without any regard for our own choices, I'd probably do all that I can to refuse it.""Hmm. I see." Hanzō said, looking somewhat surprised by his answer."Now what about them?" Hanzo asked, handing Ren over a picture of girls with ridiculous breast sizes. They all looked to be in the same age group, with one or two years difference between all of them."I'll need to meet with at least one of them." Ren told him."I'll decide then." Though he was curious about why he's meeting girls with boobs so large lately. Seriously, what were they eating in their lives to end up like that?"That may be tough." Hanzō told him."If they do there missions correctly, then you probably won't see them.""I think I have a way too manage that." Ren said, thinking about his Third Eye and hoping that they would register as stronger than him in the real world. If not, then Ren would probably have a big problem on his ass."But if you do meet one of them and decide to go through with it, here are your tickets." Hanzō said, handing the tickets to hgim. But what was shocking to Ren was the destination."...Tokyo?" Ren was kind of shocked that he'd be going back. A school for ninjas was in Tokyo and they'd never found him and the other members of the Phantom Thieves our out? Seriously? Ren knew the police were bad enough at their jobs, but Shinobi never found them out? Really?"The school that they're planning on challenging for the Shinobi Battle Royale is there." Hanzō informed him."What school is it?" Ren asked him. Ren had no idea what that was, but had a good enough idea from its name and having read manga before."It's Hanzō Academy.","They named a school after you?" Ren asked him, now sincerely doubting the intelligence of the Shinobi world. Or were they all just a bunch of intense perverts?"Is that so hard to believe?" Hanzō asked him."Let me answer that with a better question." Ren told him. "Why was there only boob stuff among the porn pile?""Please. Let's not ask foolish questions."

"Come on. we've got to get ready." Ren told Morgana, heading home to quickly prepare for the trip.
I've rearranged the seasons events happened in the Senran Kagura timeline, but let's all be honest, it didn't matter much in the first place
