Somewhere in the world of Pokemon, there was a really heavy storm going on.
Normally, this would be not a big deal, at least to any trainer or normal person in the world right now.
Shame the same couldn't be said for the three pokemon running- or flying for their dear lives. All three of them were legendaries: one young Latias, one young Latios and one adult Latios.
The last thing the young Latios could remember was flying in the storm, and then his mom; an adult Latias, being peterified into stone, and taken in by some weird men…? He really wanted to fight back, as did his sister; but their father told them, very shakily:
"RUN! You're no match for them! Just focus on getting to safety!"
Not wanting to disobey their father, they both agreed, flying as fast as they could, far away from the ship that was chasing them. They thought they finally escaped, but their problems were just starting.
"Hyper Beam!" a female voice yelled.
In an instant, a beam was launched, hitting the adult Latios.
"FATHER!"
The young Latios was livid. As if he didn't have a bad day already with the giant bad storm, his mother being turned into stone and taken away, and now his father being gone? How DARE they do this! He thought.
The young Latios was ready to attack, but his sister brought him back to reality.
"Brother! Don't do it! Remember what father said, we need to focus on getting to safety!"
The young Latios nodded, and the siblings held hands, quickly flying out of sight.
Meanwhile… At the ship…
A strong-looking man was seen talking to what seemed to be his boss. "Sorry boss, the other two legendaries go away!" He said, bowing down in defeat and submission.
The boss, a woman with gray hair, what seemed to be a coat, and some sort of glasses…? Put her hand on the worker. "That's a shame, but we still managed to get the adult Latios and Latias, right?"
The worker sweatdropped. "We did get the Latias, but about the Latios boss…"
The woman stood up, angry. "Are you saying the Latios got away?"
The worker was scared, and continued. "That's the thing the boss, your hyper beam sent it crashing to the ground, but we can't find any signs of it!"
The woman slammed her first on her chair. "Send more men! I want to find Latios, and he better be alive!"
The worker ran away. "Yes, Ma'am!"
The boss grit her teeth, while looking at the window.
Elsewhere… with the siblings…
The Latias and Latios were both holding each other, flying to their safety.
The Latias then spoke up, after moments of silence. "Where do we head to, brother?"
Before the young Latios could speak up, the storm decided to make things worse for the two, and the wind became stronger. In fact, the winds became so strong, before they could say anything, it sent them both flying apart.
The last thing the young Latios remembers is seeing his sister being swept away. He tried to call for help, but he couldn't muster anything to say, as he fell to the ground, everything spinning, he closed his eyes, as he heard a loud THUD.
With the young Latias, all she remembers is seeing her brother being swept away, and she tried to also cry for help, but it was too late. By the time she yelled, she was falling down, and she felt weak, she heard a loud SPLASH, before closing her eyes, being carried away by a current.
Kanto
Somewhere, in the region of Kanto, a young woman could be seen, running to her home. She was sporting a straw hat, had a pink shirt, blue shorts and had brown hair, looking fairly young too. She was known as Delia Ketchum, and she was known for being kind throughout the people in Pallet Town. She had just come back from getting groceries, and the storm made her reasonably upset. "I didn't think the storm would be this bad today…" She muttered.
She quickly headed for her house, but on the way, one of the cans from her bag dropped and rolled to the side. Delia quickly ran after it, cursing under her breath. She picked up the can, and sighed, but then she noticed something next to the can, it was a blue… Pokemon?
Delia gasped as she came into a realization. This wasn't an ordinary Pokemon, this was a legendary Pokemon! Her connections and her family made her recognize that immedately. She quickly carried the Pokemon along with her supplies, and dashed for her house. She quickly put her supplies away, and carried the Pokemon to her spare bed, noticing all the injuries. She stared in shock, "How are you alive?" Delia quickly got her phone out, and called Professor Oak, who she was very close with.
The other end picked up. "Yes Delia, how may I help you today?"
Delia said, with panic clearly in her voice, "Samuel, I need your help, I found a heavily wounded Legendary near my house. I took them in, but I'm not sure which legendary it is, nor how to treat him. Could you please come as soon as possible? Samuel?"
She looked at her phone, and it seemed he hung up, making her mad. She angrily decided to dial the professor again, but as soon as she did, the professor had burst through the door, making Delia leap.
"Holy Arceus!" Delia yelled. "You didn't need to scare me like that, Samuel!"
The professor apologized, but had panic and excitement in his voice. "Sorry Delia, but this is urgent, where's the Pokemon?"
Delia led him into her spare room, which contained the Pokemon. The Professor quickly started taking out his medkit, spraying and treating the wounds. As he did so, he began to explain the Pokemon to Delia.
"Delia, this Pokemon is a Latias, the legendary Eon Pokemon from Hoenn. They're Dragon and Psychic types. However…"
Delia panicked. "However, what…?"
Oak continued. "However, this one is much smaller than the average Latios and Latias. If I had to guess, this one seems to be only three years old."
Delia looked shocked, and angry. "Who would do something to such a young Pokemon, and more importantly, what is such a young Pokemon doing out here?"
Oak looked with immense worry. "That's what I'm thinking too. If I had to take a guess, his parents probably ran into trouble too. The heavy storm is probably why he's not only separated, but was near death as well!"
Delia looked sad, but perked up. "But he will be fine, right?"
Oak smiled, having a huge grin. "Yes! It's a good thing you called me when you did, any longer and he would've been gone!"
Delia sighed, relieved. "Thanks so much for helping me Samuel, but before you go, could you tell me how to deal with the Pokemon when he wakes up?"
Samuel smiled, and laid a huge stack of papers on Delia's hand. "This is all you need to know about Latios!"
Delia sweatdropped. "I'm not even going to ask about this…"
Oak head for the door, and left while waving goodbye.
Delia then sat down next to the Pokemon, who was still unconscious, with the wings covered in bandages. He does look cute! Delia thought.
Delia then got up. "Better look at these notes before he wakes up!" She said happily, while getting up to prepare a meal for the Pokemon.
