Welcome to Chapter 2 of Dragon Ball PnF. I know this might seem like an odd crossover, but I hope that doesn't stop it from being enjoyable.
On the other side of the world, there was another man looking for the Dragon Balls. He was about 40, had spikey black hair and was wearing an orange uniform. Like the Summer Vacation Gang, he was also flying across the globe looking for the Dragon Balls, he even had his own device to look for them. Unlike the Summer Vacation Gang however, he was not using a jet, he was actually flying. This man was the alien warrior known as Goku. He was scouting the globe in order to fulfill a promise he had made to an old friend. He had already found three of the balls and was getting close to finding the fourth. What he did not know, was that by the end of the day, he would not only have five new friends, but five new disciples. He suddenly realised; he was getting close to the fourth Dragon Ball. It was on a small desert island. He flew down and went to retrieve the ball. It took him a while, but he eventually found it.
"Well that makes four. Just three to go," said Goku, pocketing the ball.
"Weird, I remember how this use to take weeks, but it's gotten to the point, that I can find them in a day," said Goku to himself.
He then decided to check the radar.
"Wow, the last three balls are pretty far away, but I've already found four, so this should be done quickly," said Goku, taking off again to find the fifth ball.
"Hang on King Kai, you'll have your planet back soon," said Goku, speeding of to find the balls.
Meanwhile, the summer vacation gang, were getting close to their first ball. It was then that Phineas noticed that there were now four Dragon Balls moving together.
"Hey Ferb, looks like the other person's found another ball," said Phineas, as Ferb nodded. "Wow they're moving fast, way faster than this jet. Whoever built this guy's jet must be a genius. At the rate they're going, we'll be lucky to get one Dragon Ball," said Phineas.
"Do you think he'll get the ball we're after before us?" asked Isabella, from the back of the jet.
"I don't think so. He's moving fast, but we're way closer to the one we're after," said Phineas.
"How long till we get there?" asked Baljeet.
"About five minutes," said Ferb.
"Well either way, when we get there, I'll be able to prove to you, that this is all just a bunch of baloney," said Buford.
"Whatever you say Buford," said Phineas. "I was hoping just to see the dragon, now I'm just hoping we'll get to see the balls."
After another five minutes of flying, they reached their destination. It was another small island in the middle of nowhere. They all got out and were ready to look for the Dragon Ball.
"Well it's in this direction, let's start looking," said Phineas.
And with that, the gang set out to look for the ball. They all followed Phineas, as he was the one with the Dragon Ball Locator. He mostly walked straight, but every once in a while, he would make a turn and start walking in a completely differently direction. After half an hour, Phineas said it was close.
"OK guys, it should be in this area," said Phineas, looking up from the device.
It was not a barren island, in fact, it had quite a lot of plantation. A normal person would think this would be like finding a needle in a haystack, but thankfully, Ferb had shown them a picture of the Dragon Balls, so they knew what they were looking for. Unfortunately, their device was not accurate enough to give them a precise location, just a general location.
"Well guys, getting here was the easy part. Finding the ball is gonna be the hard part," said Phineas.
"Maybe we should've asked the Fireside Girls to come, we would've had more eyes to cover more ground," said Isabella.
"Oh, don't tell me you guys are gonna give up now. That is not the way we function," said Buford.
"Buford, I thought you didn't believe in the Dragon Balls," said Baljeet.
"I don't. That's why I want to find them, to prove you wrong," said Buford.
They decided not to argue with Bufords logic, because they knew they would not win.
They spent the next twenty minutes searching for the Dragon Ball. They knew they were looking for an orange ball with stars, but that only made the task slightly less difficult. Eventually, Phineas found something that looked very out of place with the rest of the area. It was a small orange ball.
"Guys, I think I found it," called Phineas.
He picked up the ball and sure enough, it was a Dragon Ball with four stars.
"Wow they're really real," said Isabella.
"Nah it's fake, I bet this ball is just a piece of glass someone dropped," said Buford.
"I don't know Buford, it looks pretty real to me," said Baljeet.
"Maybe it does now, but when we get all seven and nothing happens, it'll prove they're fake," said Buford.
"Speaking of which, we'd better get going, because there are still six to find," said Phineas, pocketing the ball.
They were about to head off, before Ferb heard a sound that he did not like.
"Wait," said Ferb.
"What's wrong Ferb?" asked Phineas.
As soon as he said it, Phineas heard it as well. The ground was starting to shake a little, like something huge was coming towards them. There was a small pool of water next to them, and it was starting to ripple. The gang turned around and to their horror, saw that a large dinosaur was approaching, and he looked hungry.
"Guys get back to the Jet," said Phineas, and they all started running without hesitation.
Unfortunately, the dinosaur started chasing them.
"How is there a dinosaur here? We didn't time travel, we just flew across the earth," said Baljeet, running as fast as he could.
"You gotta remember Baljeet, this isn't a typical Phineas and Ferb Fanfiction," said Phineas.
"What do you mean?" asked Isabella.
"We're in a crossover, meaning the worlds structure is a little different," said Phineas.
"To simplify, our worlds have combined, meaning we're in one, where there are elements of both. For instance, Danville might not exist in the other world, just like how dinosaurs are extinct in ours. But since our worlds are combined, both can exist without question," said Ferb.
"Makes sense to me," said Buford.
The gang kept running as fast as they could. They needed to get back to the jet. It was their only chance of surviving.
While they were running, Goku noticed, that one of the balls he was after, had started moving.
"Oh man, someone's found one of the balls. I don't know if I'll be able to take it from them. They probably worked hard to find it. Oh well, maybe they can be reasoned with. Either that, or I'll have to solve more puzzle rings. Guess all I can do is ask," said Goku, and he took of faster towards the next ball.
Thanks for reading, please let me know what was good and what could be improved, as I enjoy getting feedback, especially when it can help me improve the story. Sorry I left it on a bit of a cliff hanger. Furthermore, they'll be more forth wall breaks throughout this story, because I think it's a great way to add humor.
