Chapter 3 Nen x and x Chakra
After getting situated in their new apartment Gon and Killua rest before planning how they will proceed. Their apartment has the living room and kitchen together with two separate rooms and one bathroom. All together it's a pretty nice place that most couldn't ask more from. The masked Anbu gave them their funds for the month and told them the Hokage would call for them in a week.
"Well I guess we're in a pretty good spot Gon and we now have money." Killua smiles mischievously
"Yeah but we should get our necessities first like food and clothes and then save the rest right?"
"You're right, also it seems we need to work on our nen because it wasn't as easy to maintain Ten when we woke up."
"That was really weird I wonder if our abilities work." Gon says curious
Gon gets into his Jajanken stance and tries to summon as much aura as he can to his fist through Ko but something strange happens.
"Uhhh that's not right I only managed to make a regular Ko, The power didn't amp up at all."
"Hmm let me try mine."
Killua puts his hands together to try and produce his Electricity but nothing happens.
"What is this it's like I don't have any charge." Killua says frustrated
"At least our Nen techniques still seem to work although they are weaker than where we were before."
"Maybe this world effects how are Hatsu works, we need more information."
"Well in the meantime let's get what we need and explore the village." Gon says excited
"Ok but we can't play around too much Bisky would be mad that we're slacking." Killua says fake annoyed
Gon and Killua go off into the village to explore and learn their surroundings. Gon mostly just gets a few different under shirts and some new shorts and shinobi chain mail pants and a new backpack. Killua on the other hand decides to take in the culture and buys two Ninja like attire. One is a sleeveless white hoodie with the Konoha leaf symbol on the back. And the other is a gray camouflage romper onesie with a high collar.
As they're buying their food they see a shinobi team leave from some kind of clearing in the woods. Turns out it's a training field. They remember where it is to come back later to train their Nen.
As their preparing to go back home they take greater notice of the the giant faces carved into the Stone Mountain behind the Hokage tower. Easily they recognize the third face to be Hiruzen although he's looks older now.
"Wow those faces look really cool!" Gon says amazed
"They've gotta be the faces of this villages Hokage since those would have to be the most important people."
"Yeah and that third one has to be Sarutobi-san ."
"But there's four faces which means there has to be a fourth Hokage, but where is he?" Killua thinks confused
Out of nowhere Gon and Killua hear some Kid around their age screaming
"I'm gonna be the Hokage one day believe it!"
He yells before devouring some ramen at a food stand
People look over towards him with looks of distain and annoyance.
"Hmm weird kid." Killua says before they leave to put away all their stuff
Over the week before they are called again by Sarutobi-San Gon and Killua train their nen and try to get to a combative level with their nen again.
They do their handstand push-ups.
"Ugh I hate how this makes my arms feel useless." Killua says out of breath
They crush rocks with smaller ones with Shu.
"You were always better at this." Gon says shyly after breaking his rock immediately
They spar with Ryu.
"We really are perfect matched for this technique." Killua thinks
And the most tiring thing holding Ren for two hours at a time.
"No more." Gon and Killua say at the same time
They decide to go home and rest since they expect Sarutobi-San to call on them tomorrow.
In the morning an anbu comes by and informs them to meet Lord third at the Hokage tower.
They both groan saying "it's too early" but get ready nevertheless and eat breakfast before leaving out.
The receptionist leads to the Hokages office and knocks before leaving.
"You may enter." Sarubtobi says
The two walk in to see Sarutobi sitting at his desk with Five adult ninja standing in front of him.
"Gon Killua I'm glad the village seems to be treating you kindly."
"Thank you Sarutobi-San." Gon says forgetting he is tired
"I want to introduce these 5 to you since you'll working somewhat closely with them from now on."
"Holy shit Kakashi he looks just like you." The purple haired woman says to the white haired man who must be Kakashi
"Geez can't we just introduce ourselves before you start playing around." He says annoyed
"Sorry buzzkill." She says with a smile
"Anyway as you heard I'm Kakashi Hatake." The white haired man says under his strange mask covering his face
"I'm Maito Guy his eternal rival." Says the man with black hair in a bowl cut with thick eyebrows and a bright smile
"I'm Asuma Sarutobi. If you couldn't tell I'm the old man's son." Says the man with spiky black hair and a connected beard
"I'm Kurenai Yuhi." Says a woman with shoulder long black hair and beautiful red eyes
She stands rather close to Asuma
"And last but the best I'm Anko Mitarashi." Says the purple haired flamboyant woman
All the others in the room looked on in embarrassment.
"Right anyway the first four are Jonin while Anko is Tokubetsu Jonin." Sarutobi says while Anko looks annoyed
"They are some of the best ninja this village has and will assist in your growth."
"Anko here will be your full time squad leader and Sensei."
"What you didn't tell me the brats would be my responsibility!" Anko says confused
"Well Anko all the others either already have a squad of Genin or will by tomorrow, plus this could be a chance for promotion to Jonin for you." Sarutobi says with a knowing smile
"I'm bestowing you an honor to handle these unprecedented powers from these boys."
"Fine I'll take them and turn them into Konoha's greatest assets." Anko says with sadistic smile
Gon and Killua shiver at how fast her attitude changed.
"Great now that that's settled Anko take them to training ground 17 to evaluate their skills and abilities."
"I was going to check on them one day when I found them training, they seemed to have a great foundation for combat so I left them to their devices." Sarutobi says impressed
"All right let's go brats." Anko says cockily
"We aren't brats." Killua says angry as they leave
"They have quite the youth burning inside them I'm excited to see their potential!" Guy says solidly
"I agree Guy I feel they will have quite an effect on the other Genin." Sarutobi says thinking of a few specific kids
Training ground 17 turns out to be the exact place they've been training in for the last week. Not thinking how convenient that is Anko stops them in the middle to begin her evaluation.
"So brats I've been told your powers are different from any person in this world but I want a better explanation."
"Our nen flows outside and around our bodies constantly without us having to do anything." Killua says annoyed at the brat nickname
"There are three basic techniques for our control of our aura, Ten to hold it in place, Zetsu to stop all aura flow, and Ren to increase aura flow." Gon says making sure not to mess up
"Interesting your basic principles seem to have a lot of function already." Anko says intrigued
"You're right, Ten provides low level defense, Zetsu allows us to be undetectable and helps us recover from fatigue, and Ren can be used to intimidate others. It's called bloodlust."
"Amazing we also have a similar technique called Killing intent. I'm assuming you can resist it with Ten?"
"That's right." Gon says excited
"Good." Anko says before flexing her killing intent towards them
Gon and Killua maintain a neutral face and don't falter any steps backward.
"Very nice I like your guts brats. Most men that encounter my killing intent piss their pants." Anko says sadisticly
"We didn't train for nothing obviously." Killua says unimpressed
"You said those were basic techniques so what about advanced?"
"Well actually there is technically another basic technique but we're having a problem with it." Gon admits
"Oh really?"
"Yeah it's called Hatsu and it's basically just our specific techniques we create."
"Well what's the problem?"
"We haven't been able to do them for some reason. We've been thinking it's the way this world works with actual techniques." Killua says hopefully
"Well most techniques in this world require hand seals to activate, maybe it's that you now need better control to activate your abilities?"
"What were your abilities specifically maybe there are counterparts in this one."
"My ability was Jajanken where each move in the game was an attack I could do. Rock was a super charged punch, Scissors was a sword of aura, and Paper was a projectile blast." Gon says proud
"Very versatile and keeps your opponent guessing pretty smart." Anko said truthfully
"Well I'm also more of a brawler anyway and I rely on my increased strength."
"And my ability was Electricity that I could use in a couple different ways. I could tase people, fry them, and enhance my movement speed."
"Not only do you look like Kakashi your powers are similar." Anko laughs
"Well what can you do with the advanced techniques?" Anko says not caring how annoyed Killua looked
"Gyo let's us see hidden things or enhance any part of our body really. We can actually see your chakra system." Killua says snidely
"In let's us hide our aura or ability to the five senses but not anyone with good sensing skills or the ability to see hidden things."
"En is us pushing our aura outwards to better sense things. Essentially it's our pinnacle of sensory ability."
"Shu is covering an object with our aura to increase its effectiveness. Usually for tools and weapons."
"Ko is summoning all our aura in one body part for the most possible physical damage."
"Ken is our ultimate defense by summoning an enormous amount of aura to shield our body."
"And Ryu is more of a fighting style than a technique. All we do is shift our aura to specific body parts to better attack and defend when needed." Says Killua annoyed of explaining
"That's a lot." Anko says unaffected
Killua rages after feeling he wasted his time.
"Let's have a spar to see how well you two fight with out your special abilities." Anko says as she rushes the two surprises boys

Hey guys I just wanted to say thank you for the reviews favorites and follows. I honestly didn't expect to any attention this fast. Especially after last chapters kinda boring dialogue heavy plot. This chapter was to make up for that with some character and relationship prepare for next chapter with my first fight scene. I have no idea how I will do so bare with me.
