DRAGON BALL: KANBA!
CH.2
Bulma, Goku, Carmine, Kanba, and the Dragon Ball!
Far away in an enchanted land that seems to be untouched by the steady march of time. There lived an old master named Gohan who found a baby boy abandoned in the wilderness of the region. The old master raised the boy as his own child and marvelled as the youngster grew and became uncommonly strong. Now the boy known as Goku is on his own and became the sole guardian of his grandfather's most treasured and mystical possession: His Dragon Ball.
[Mt Paozu]
Waterfalls crashing down the falls, deer drink some water, fish swimming in the water, a pterodactyl flying around, and monkeys hanging around.
Just then a boy with spikey black hair, a brown monkey tail, and a blue Gi uniform was walking on a large log while carrying a large saw blade. The boy was humming with a smile.
"Hi, just hanging around huh? Hahaha." Goku said to a monkey and then laughs as he rolls downhill.
(Later)
[Gohan's house]
Goku was practicing martial arts techniques and then lifted the log. Then he was rolling downhill with and threw it into the air and then destroyed it with a punch!
"HI-YA!" Goku shouted as he destroyed the log into smaller logs.
The logs were stacked nicely.
"Well, I guess that takes care of that. I'm hungry Woah." Goku said as he was hungry.
[Meanwhile somewhere else…]
Little did Goku know a visitor was approaching his remote mountain home. The young boy's life is about to begin a radical new phase… totally radical…
A gray car stopped and a girl in a pink outfit with the word Bulma on her shirt and Blue/Purple hair came out of the car and took out a device that was tracking something.
BEEP...BEEP...BEEP...
"Let's see here...Oh yeah, there it is...you're my now you little jewel." Bulma said as she then got into the car and drove again.
VRRMMM!
[Meanwhile somewhere nearby…]
But little did anyone know two more souls are about to change the story forever…
VVVVRRRMMM!
A motorcycle with a sidecar drove by and stopped the person who was driving the motorcycle stop and took off the helmet and revealed it to be a girl with brunette hair, a red and blue outfit, and glasses. In the sidecar was a sleeping boy with black long spikey hair, with a brown monkey tail, had a dark red tank sleeveless shirt, navy baggy pants, white boots, a mask that only covered his mouth, and wielded a giant Gunbai.
"Wake up Kanba, it's your turn to drive. Yahhh…" Carmine said with a yawn.
"Yahhh...Fine Carmine, get some rest but I have a feeling we're about to meet some incredible people today." Kanba said.
[Back with Goku]
Goku puts his Power Pole which was a gift from Gohan.
"I'm going to get some food. Grandpa, stay there okay? This won't take long I will be back." Goku said to the Dragon Ball as he walked away but the Dragon Ball glowed.
"Huh? Golly, I never seen you glow so brightly like that before grandpa. How strange can you do it again?" Goku said.
Goku stared at the ball...nothing...no glowing.
"That's okay...you can do it later… see you in a little while…" Goku said.
[In a Forest]
"So, what will I eat today? Hmm...Why don't you decide it tummy? Fish? Fish." Goku asked as he ran around until he stopped at an apple tree and ate some apples.
CHOMP!
CHOMP!
CHOMP!
Goku took a few bites of some apples then threw an apple on a saber tooth tiger.
"Grrr…" The tiger looked up and saw Goku eating some apples.
Then the tiger chased Goku but he wasn't worried one bit. Then Goku disappeared at the cliffs and the tiger fell into the ravine comically. Goku was holding onto a branch until the branch broke and he too fell.
CRACK!
"AAHHH!" Goku screamed as he fell into the water.
Then his head popped out of the water.
"Pwh..that was great!" Goku said.
(Later)
"There, that ought to do it. It'll be dry in no time. Now time to fish…" Goku said as he took off his clothes and started to fish.
After a few minutes of fighting a large fish.
Goku was dragging the large fish but then he heard something he never heard of before. In front of him and back.
VVVRRRRMM…
VVRRRM…
"Huh? What's that?" Goku said in confusion.
"WHAT THE?!" Goku said in shock.
"GET OUT OF THE WAY!/HUH?!" Kanba/Bulma said as their vehicles nearly crashed into each other while Goku was knocked back a few feet.
SCREECH!
CRASH!
Bulma's car stopped a bit but Kanba's motorcycle crashed into a tree.
"Yikes...Is he dead?" Bulma said.
"WATCH WHERE YA GOING YOU IDIOT!" Kanba said.
"What the?" Goku said as he was in shock.
"Woah, he's still alive?" Bulma said.
"You think you can finish me off? You won't get my fish that easily, you big monster." Goku said as he then lifted up Bulma's car and threw it.
"Hey! Stop it! What are you doing?!" Bulma said in fear.
"OIY IDIOT DROP THE CAR OR I'LL BEAT YOU TO A PULP!" Kanba yelled as Carmine got out of the sidecar.
"This is for hitting me!" Goku said as he threw the car.
Just then Kanba caught the car and placed it on the ground gently.
THUD!
"There! That'll teach you to stay away from my fish." Goku said as he prepared his Power Pole.
"We don't want your fish!" Kanba yelled as he prepared his Gunbai Uchiwa.
"LIAR! That giant monster should come out from its shell and fight!" Goku said.
"Tch...You're so infuriating for some reason…" Kanba said with his red eyes glowing as he was covered in a dark red and black aura.
"What's wrong, did that monster lose all its power or something?" Goku asked.
"Not quite!" Bulma said as she shot Goku.
BAM! BANG! BAM! BANG! BANG!
Each shot was supposed to hit a vital spot including the head but he was fine.
"Holy cow that hurts, what was that?" Goku said as he held his forehead.
"But how? You shouldn't be alive, kid!" Bulma said.
"So you think you can finish me off? My grandfather told me about evil creatures like you!" Goku yelled.
"NOW TAKE THIS MONSTER!" Goku yelled as was about to swing his Power Pole.
"Wait! I surrender! I'm not a monster!" Bulma panicked as she dropped her gun.
CLASH!
Goku's Power Pole and Kanba's Gunbai Uchiwa clashed.
"Oiy, listen you moron! As much as I love fighting, this will lead us nowhere! She's clearly human!" Kanba yelled.
"Kanba! Strange boy! Put down your weapons!" Carmine yelled.
"Wait, she is?" Goku asked in surprise.
"IS THIS GUY AN IDIOT?!" Kanba thought.
"Yes, of course I am. Can't you tell? I won't bite..." Bulma said as she stepped towards Goku but he was on guard.
"Oh yeah, what about those two?" Goku said.
"We're obviously! Humans! Well, for two of them at least." Kanba yelled.
BONK!
"Don't be mean…" Carmine said.
Then Goku checks all three. Then lifts Bulma's and Carmine's skirts.
Carmine was red and Bulma was too and swatted the Power Pole away.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Kanba yelled.
"I was just checking if you all had tails...you have one but the other two don't." Goku said.
"Oh/Okay…" Bulma and Carmine said.
"Tch...this kid's an idiot…" Kanba said.
"Don't worry, maybe it takes a long time for girls to grow their tails." Goku said innocently.
"Sure, anytime kid…" Bulma said while covering a smile.
"What a weirdo…" Bulma thought.
"So, how did you guys get these monsters to do what you want to do?" Goku asked.
"They're no monsters. They're vehicles we used to drive around." Carmine said.
"So, these are vehicles...My grandpa told me about these things but I never saw them." Goku said as he inspected the car and then the motorcycle.
"You know for a kid you are really strong. You too, Kanba, is it?" Bulma said
"Thanks, my grandpa trained me like steel." Goku said.
"Yeah, my dad trained me for fun or wanted a challenge…" Kanba said.
"Hey, wait a minute if you too were driving around vehicles then does that mean you guys are from the big cities?" Goku asked.
"Yeah./Yes./You got it." Kanba/Carmine/Bulma said.
"Cool, why don't you guys come to my house and eat. And you guys can tell me what city life is like. Come on!" Goku asked as he picked up the fish.
"Hold on just a second…" Bulma said as she took out her radar.
"The Dragon Radar says it's just down the road...maybe it's at this kid's house." Bulma thought.
"Sure kid...What's the plan?" Bulma asked.
"Well, we'll eat, talk, and play together." Goku said.
"Now listen idiot...if you think you can take advantage of Carmine you can forget it." Kanba said.
"Taking advantage of what?" Goku asked innocently.
"N-never mind…" Kanba said with a twitching eyebrow.
"I guess his grandfather hasn't told him about puberty…" Carmine said with a smirk.
"This kid is so innocent he's adorable…" Bulma thought.
"Huh? Why are you guys staring at me? "Goku asked.
"Nothing…" everyone said.
"You guys are so strange. Well, here we go!" Goku said as he started to walk towards his house.
"Okay." Bulma said as she and the others followed Goku.
"So, kid what's your name?" Bulma asked.
"Oh, I'm Son Goku. G-O-K-U. What's yours?" Goku asked.
"My? It's Bulma Briefs." Bulma said.
"PHFF! HAHAHAHA! Your last name is underwear!" Kanba laughed.
BONK!
"Sorry about him… my name is Carmine Gero." Carmine said as Kanba had a huge lump on his head.
"My name is Kanba Yowai." Kanba said.
"Wait a minute. Briefs...YOU MEAN FROM CAPSULE CORP!?" Carmine yelled.
"Yeah…" Bulma said.
"PLEASE MAKE ME YOUR APPRENTICE!" Carmine said.
"I'll think about it…" Bulma said.
[Gohan/Goku's House]
"Woah, nice place kid." Bulma said as they got to the house.
"Thanks. Just wait here. One second, Huh?" Goku said as he entered the house to find the Four-Star Dragon Ball glowing.
"Listen…" Goku said.
"Huh?" Kanba said in confusion.
"My grandpa is trying to talk to me." Goku said.
Where? I don't see him." Carmine said.
"Move aside...I don't see any-. No way! A Dragon Ball!" Bulma said as she pushed away Goku and grabbed the Dragon Ball.
"Hey! Give me back my Grandpa!" Goku said.
"Your grandpa?" everyone asked in confusion.
"Yeah! It's the last thing I have from him to remember him by. Nobody touches it but me." Goku said.
"Look, I think my grandpa is trying to contact us from the grave…" Goku said.
"Wait, is that what I think it is?" Kanba asked in excitement.
"Sigh...I guess I have to tell you." Bulma said as she took out two more dragon balls.
"No way! You got two grandpas?!" Goku said in shock.
"No, you dolt it's called a Dragon Ball." Kanba said.
"It must have been reacting to the ones Bulma has." Carmine said.
"Are you sure?" Goku was skeptical.
"Yes, just put yours down…" Bulma said.
Okay, just for a second…" Goku said as he placed the Four Star Ball on the table.
Then the three Dragon Balls glowed.
"Woah…" Everyone was in awe.
"I know right? These things can do a lot of good but it can also do a lot of harm if used by a bad guy." Bulma said.
"But what do these things do?" Goku asked.
"According to legends, gather all seven Dragon Balls and you can make a wish from the Eternal Dragon Shenron…" Kanba said.
[Meanwhile Somewhere else]
The doors opened revealing three people, a dog ninja, a woman in a soldier uniform,and a small blue man.
"Ahh...Finally...There it is…" Pilaf said.
"Oh, boss, it looks dark in there…" Shu said.
"Shut up Shu!" Pilaf said.
"Yes, I finally have it...come to Pilaf…" Pilaf said as then one of the suits of armor fell on him.
"AHH! Get it off me!" Pilaf said as the suit of armor fell to the ground with a skull rolling out from it.
"Okay now for the wish…" Pilaf said.
"Sir, you must have all seven Dragon Balls to make the wish…" Mai said.
"Oh…" Pilaf said as he was disappointed.
"But it'll be worth it at least…" Mai said.
"I'll wait a little bit longer…" Pilaf said.
[Back with Goku]
"Wow, that's amazing! You can wish for anything you want? I wonder why grandpa never told me about this." Goku said.
"He may not have known about this…" Carmine said.
"Right… all we can go on about these things are through legends and rumors…" Kanba said.
"Right. We are part of a handful of people who know about the Dragon Balls." Bulma said.
"Well, don't mix mine with yours." Goku said.
"Impossible… the balls have a different number of stars." Kanba said as he took the five star dragon ball.
"Anyway...I am so close to getting all the Dragon Balls...within a month I can get a Boyfriend!" Bulma said.
"That's the stupidest wish I ever heard of…" Kanba said.
"My uncle Red always wished to grow taller." Carmine said.
"...Shut up…" Kanba blushed.
Just then…
"Why do I want to see your dirty fanny?" Goku asked.
"IT IS NOT DIRTY!" Bulma yelled.
"What the hell?" Kanba thought.
"Okay, how about this...you can come along and help me hunt Dragon Balls. What do ya say?" Bulma said.
"Hmm...Okay only if I can keep my Grandpa's Dragon Ball." Goku said.
"Consider it done...how about you two?" Bulma asked.
"Well, our bike is ruined. So, why not?" Carmine said.
"This will kill boredom…" Kanba said.
"Good...heheheh...the two boys with monkey tails are good bodyguards and the girl is smart. I will have the perfect boyfriend by the end of the journey…" Bulma thought evilly.
"So, how do we find them?" Carmine asked.
"With this! I call it the Dragon Radar!" Bulma said.
BOOP!
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
The Radar shows three together, two close to each other, and two separated from the rest.
"750 Miles...Okay...everyone in the car!" Bulma said.
"Okay." Kanba said as he, Carmine, and Goku got in the car.
VVVRRRMMM!
(After a few miles or so…)
[After a hill]
"That was fun! Let's do it again!" Goku said.
"Maybe later… uh oh...Carmine do you need to go?" Bulma asked.
"Yes, I do…" Carmine said.
"Okay, me and Carmine will take a break and we'll be back." Bulma said.
"Okay, I'll come too." Goku said.
"HELL NO!" Kanba yelled as he tried to strangle Goku.
Then Carmine and Bulma went behind a rock…
Just then…
"AAHHH! GOKU! KANBA! HELP!" Bulma screamed.
"I sure wish you would make up your mind." Goku said as he and Kanba went behind the rock. Which had a giant peratdacly monster holding Bulma and Carmine in his hand.
"Oh, hi are you Bulma's friend?"Goku asked.
"You are an idiot…" Kanba said as the monster grabbed the two girls with his tail.
"Yeah, I am…" the monster said.
"LIAR! TAKE THIS! WIND TORNADO!" Kanba yelled as he fanned his Gunbai at the monster creating a tornado causing the monster to let go of the girls.
WOOSH!
"AAAHHH!" the monster screamed as he was carried off by the tornado.
"Kanba you saved us!" Bulma cried.
"I wasn't scared…" Carmine said.
"But wasn't he your friend?" Goku asked.
"NO!" everyone yelled but Goku.
"Come on, let's go to the next Dragon Ball…" Carmine said.
Later the crew got into the car and drove towards the next dragon ball.
