I met Sif outisde the training room the next morning and she lead me away from it. I was confused on where we were going.

"I thought we were training." I said and she chuckled.

"Yes, but not here... I know you have the counsel meeting to attend later and wanted you to have some fun today." she said and I chuckled. I had been invited to attend the meeting where Odin and Frigga will meet with people about what brothers them before discussing these issues with the counsel.

"Will you be there?" I asked her and she shook her head no.

"I was not invited." she said and I nodded.

"Come with me?" I asked her and she looked surprised, but smiled.

"I will... I have never been. Thor usually picks Fandral to go with him because he can be more diplomatic than the rest of us." she said and I heard some bitterness from it.

"You can come with me, since I'm sure I won't understand half of it." I said as we walked up to a stable and I looked at her surprised.

"Horses?" I asked her and she chuckled.

"Yes, we ride them a lot and it's our preferred way to travel." she said as we walked inside and she petted one of the face. The stable workers helped up saddle two of them, and we were riding in no time. I hadn't ridden in a long time, and I was happy to be able to again... I was also happy I had worn pants. She showed me around, and we even rode through parts of the city.

"You look like a natural." Fandral said as he and Hogun walked up to us as we were heading back out of the city streets.

"Where is Volstagg?" Sif asked them.

"He's... busy." Hogun said with a smirk and I chuckled as Sift shook her head.

"Are you attending the meeting?" Fandral asked me and I nodded.

"Yes, and Sif is coming with me so I can understand what's going on." I said and he looked surprised. I had a feeling they didn't regard Sif as true equals, and I didn't like that. She was badass in her own right.

We talked to them a few more minutes before heading back. We had to get ready for the meeting. I showered, changed into a traditional dress, and pulled my curly hair back into a bun. I had chosen a white long sleeve dress with a blue cloak to go over it. I was just finishing up when there was a knock at my door. I opened it to find Sif dressed in a green dress with a golden cloak over it. We both looked out of our element as she walked with me to the meeting hall.

"Thank you for coming with me." I said as we took seats near the back of the hall. I was sitting there talking to Sif when someone sat on the other side of me. I looked over to see Hogun and Volstagg.

"We thought we would join you." Volstagg said and I smiled at them.

"Thank you." I said and Hogun smiled at me. He didn't say a lot and I could appreciate that. I saw as Thor and Loki came into the hall and sat near their Father as Frigga was sitting on the side of Odin.

"Do you actually like studying people's ways of life?" Sif asked me and I chuckled.

"I do... I like see how other people handle conflict, life, and set up their society. I see what's good, what's bad, and what other societies could do to better themselves if they would look at how other's do it." I said and she nodded.

"You are very smart... no wonder Fandral likes you." Hogun said and I chuckled.

"Speaking of him... where is he?" Volstagg asked as we looked around for him. We spotted him coming through the doorways and sitting behind Thor and Loki. Thor greeted him, and Loki remained stone faced. He looked as if he would rather be anywhere else. The meeting started with people voicing their concerns, talking about what they wanted changed, and then Odin and the counsel... which was Odin, Frigga, Thor, and Loki talked about what they wanted to do. I could tell that what Loki had done on Earth had no affected how the people here thought of him; but Thor was the clear favorite.

"What do you think?" Sif asked me as they began to close down the meeting.

"It's much different from Earth. We have so many people who make our decisions, but you can tell that they care for Asgard. The same can't be said for my country." I said and she nodded. The meeting concluded and the entire city was having a feast. I walked with Sif, Volstagg, and Hogun down to where everyone was going. Thor, Loki, and Fandral wasted no time in finding us.

"What did you think, Parker?" Fandral asked me as I was handed a goblet. I was leery of what was in it after the other night and just held it.

"It was different from what I'm used to." I said and they chuckled. We wandered around as people danced around us. I was watching them as we sat on a bench.

"Would you care to dance, Lady Parker?" Thor asked me and I shook my head... I had no left feet and no intentions of looking like an idiot here.

"No, but Sif would." I said and volunteered her. She looked surprised as I nudged her. I took her goblet as Thor pulled her with him.

"Well played... they look after each other all time, but are too scared to make a move." Fandral said as Volstagg was dancing with someone, and Hogun was talking to people.

"They would make a cute couple." I said and he chuckled at me.

"Are you not going to drink?" Fandral asked me and I smirked.

"I'm scared to after the other night." I said and he laughed as he shook his head.

"We are not having that tonight... this is a celebration for the whole of Asgard. We cannot loose our heads if something was to happen." he said and I smirked as I smelled the goblet. The drink wasn't as sweet as the other night, and I took a sip... it was rich. I must have made a face as he chuckled at me. He took the goblets and handed them off to someone as I watched Thor and Sif. I realized that I hadn't seen Loki yet.

"Where is Loki?" I asked Fandral and he shook his head.

"He's not here. He doesn't come to these things. He used to, but after his attack on Earth... he's not the same." he said and I nodded.

"Do the people not care for him?" I asked him and he shrugged.

"I know a lot of people like him, but it's hard to compete with Thor. He saved Odin's life, but Thor saved Asgard." he said and I nodded.

"I'm surprised you like him." he said and I looked at him strange.

"He attacked your home." he said and I nodded. He didn't realize how big my home really was if we were talking about the country.

"I did not attack her home, and I did not really attack anyone." a voice said from above me. I looked up to see Loki standing there as he handed me a goblet.

"Thank you." I said as he sat on the other side of me.

"How do you know if wasn't her home?" Fandral asked him.

"Because it was a smaller place, and I would have noticed her." he said as he took a sip, and I didn't miss Fandral's eyes widen at that comment. He got ready to say some thing when Thor and Sif came back over to us.

"Brother, you joined us." he said and Loki gave a small nod as Thor and Sif sat with us. She gave me a grateful smile and I nodded. I sat with them and talked until I was tired. Loki stayed with us, and he even looked bored at times, but he didn't leave. We were all talking and I noticed that Fandral kept touching my arms, or shoulders... I wasn't a fan of it. I wasn't a touchy person.

"I will be heading to my room." I said as I stood up and everyone else stood up as well. I wasn't tired, but I was done being at this feast.

"I will walk with you. I am bored of this." Loki said as Fandral got ready to say something. I told everyone good night and walked with Loki.

"Thank you, but you could have stayed." I said and he shook his head no.

"I'm not tired, but I didn't want to stay anymore." I admitted as we walked back to the palace. He looked surprised at my statement.

"You didn't want to feast with the great Thor and his merry band?" he asked me with so much sarcasm I had to chuckle.

"No, sometimes less is better." I said and he nodded. I stopped and he looked at me as I walked over to the balcony.

"I enjoy coming out here... you don't need to stay." I said as I sat down and he looked a bit confused.

"You can stay, but I know where my room is." I said and he chuckled.

"I have never been dismissed before so nicely." he said, as I heard the shock in his voice, and I felt bad. I hadn't meant to dismiss him. I just knew that he probably had something better to do.

"No, I just meant if you are bored of me, or of... tonight." I said and turned to face him, but he was already walking back into the palace. I shook my head and looked out on Asgard... so far this ambassador thing was not what I expected.
