I looked around in the icy stone room that I was sitting in, and could tell that it looked like a throne room. I was thankful they had bundled me up in furs to keep me somewhat warm the cold here went to the bone as I continued to shiver. I have no idea where I was, other than a good guess I was Jotunheim.

"You aren't going to try and run?" a voice said and I turned to see a large blue figure coming into the room. He had tattoo like lines on his skin and his eyes were a reddish color.

"I don't know where to go." I admitted and he chuckled in a deep voice.

"I can see why they like you, mortal." he said and I looked at him confused.

"You don't think we don't have people helping us in Asgard? I know about you Parker, and I know that they like you. You have won them over, but especially to Jotun prince." he said and I raised an eyebrow at him. I didn't know there was a Jotun prince. He saw my confusion and chuckled.

"Ah, I see that you do no know the prince's secret. Loki isn't from Odin, but instead he was taken from here. Odin has probably told him some nice story about saving him, but he wasn't saved. He was traded for because Odin isn't as nice as everyone believes." he said and my eyes were wide at this point. Loki was Jotun... maybe that's why he felt cold.

"He was traded for?" I finally asked after processing the information I had been given.

"Yes, we gave up our prince to trade that Odin would stop attacking us. We might have provoked him into the war, but we had put our weapons down long before." he said and I nodded. I had heard the rumors that Loki was adopted, but to hear that he was actually Jotun made more sense with him saying he didn't fit in. I wonder if he knew about his past.

"So why take me?" I asked him and he chuckled.

"They have come here 2 days in a row, hurt my people, and found no actions to say that we are going to attack them, but now... they have a reason and we are ready." he said and I nodded. I felt a violent shiver go through me and I wasn't sure that it was all because I was cold. I was sitting there when someone yelled for him, and I was left sitting in this throne room. I pulled the furs closer to me as I shivered again. I could definitely say this is not how I thought my ambassadorship would go.

"Parker." a voice said and my head whipped to the right to see a Jotun coming towards me with longer black hair, lines on his skin, and red eyes... but he looked familiar.

"Loki?" I asked quietly and he nodded. He was in trousers and a fur wrapped over his shoulders to fit in. I had to admit that he looked good, but now wasn't the time. He walked over and snapped the chain holding my ankle to the chair I was in. He pulled me up with him as we started to leave the way he had gotten in. We were almost there when someone noticed we weren't there anymore and started to look for me.

"Shhh..." he said as he pushed me into a hole in the wall. I found Sif and Hogun on the other side. She hugged me and pulled me with her as Hogun hung back to get Loki. We were sneaking through the walls, and finally came out at a clearing only to find 3 guards waiting for us. I looked at Sif as she handed me two daggers and nodded. I didn't have much time as they advanced on us. I flung one and it hit him right in the eye... I should have felt bad, but I didn't have time as Sif cut another one down. We were going for the other one when he was crumbled in front of our eyes as Thor smiled at us.

"Time to go." Loki said as he and Hogun appeared beside me. He pulled me to him as I looked at him and the energy appeared again. He pulled me tighter as I looked at him while we floated through space to land on the bridge. Odin, Frigga, Fandral, and Volstagg were waiting for us. They cheered when we landed and I looked at Loki. He quickly disappeared and Frigga hugged me.

"I'm so glad you are back." she said and I nodded.

"Come on, you need to sit in the springs." she said and I nodded again as another violent shiver went over me. We walked into the lower floors of the palace and I felt it get much warmer. I still held the furs closer to me as we entered a large cave that was filled with lights and a beautiful clear blue rock pool. Two people rushed forward to help me get out of the furs, and down to the last layer I was wearing which for me was my bra and underwear. They looked confused as I explained that's what we wore under our clothing. I was first glad that I had matching ones on today and secondly that they weren't white. They helped me change into a black small dress to wear into the water. I walked out and Sif raised an eyebrow as I saw her in what would be closest to a short potato sack.

"This is what I was given." I said and she chuckled.

"It's fine, but most people don't go with the black." she said as we walked to the pool. I put my foot into it and felt the warmth.

"Thank you." I said and she smiled at me.

"You were doing fine yourself as you took out that guard." she said and I chuckled.

"Lucky throw." I said with a shrug and she shook her head as I slipped further into the water. She got ready to say something when Loki and Thor walked in to the room in just their trousers.

"May we join you?" Thor asked us and we nodded as Loki wouldn't look at me. They slipped in with us as we were brought wine. We were sitting there in mostly silence as we all reflected the day.

"I'm going to rest now." Thor said as he pulled Sid from the pool with him. I wanted to protest as I glanced at Loki who had his eyes half closed and nodded in their direction. I waved goodbye to them before also leaning against the rocks with my eyes closed... mostly from sheer exhaustion. I didn't have to wonder what was going to happen as I felt someone beside me and I opened my eyes to see perfect blue ones looking back at me.
