Thank you for the reviews!
I walked into the feast and realized that most of these were just an excuse to drink and feel each other up as I was immediately handed a goblet by Sif. She pulled me with her where everyone was sitting, and I didn't see Loki. I was pulled to sit by Thor as he smiled at me.
"Lady Parker! We won." he said as they cheered and we all toasted. I took a sip of the sweet wine and knew that it was the one that would get me in trouble if I didn't pay attention. I sat there and listened to them tell me about the battles today, their victory, and what else had happened. I was listening to Fandral when I saw Loki walk into the room from the other side. I watching him as he stopped and talked to a few people. He accepted a goblet from a blonde Asgardian, and then I watched as the man pulled Loki with him from the room. I wouldn't have thought about it except that as they go to turn the corner I see Loki kissed the back of the man's hand.
"Dance with me." Thor said and I thought he was talking to Sif, but realized that his hand was stuck out of me. He had a look on his face that said he had seen me see that. I was going to look over at Sif, but Volstagg had already pulled her with him. I shrugged and accepted his hand. We joined in everyone celebrating, eating, and drinking. Sif pulled me from dancing and we sat with the men who were eating and drinking again. I stole a grape off Volstagg's plate and he chuckled at me. I glanced up to see Loki on the other side of the room again. He still had not come to where we were, and the blonde man was standing close to him.
"Ignore my stupid brother." he said as I looked back at them. I could tell they had all seen me looking for him, and I wasn't so much embarrassed as I was feeling stupid for even looking.
"I'm a stupid mortal what do I know you gods and immortals." I said and he gave a small smile as Sif chuckled, Hogun shook his head, and Volstagg handed me another grape. I accepted it with a smile and he chuckled. Fandral was walking up to us as I said that and he gave me a weird look. He glanced at Loki and back at me, and then shook his head.
"You remind me of Jane, and Loki is a fool to no realize how much you brought out in him." Thor said and I tried to smile, but I just couldn't. I felt absolutely stupid for even thinking that Loki would like me like that.
"You can't look sad at a celebration!" Fandral said as he held out his goblet to me. I glanced at Thor and he gave an encouraging nod, so I shrugged and took a sip. I realized that wasn't wine as I felt every nerve come alive in me. They all cheered as I took another sip as more warmth spread through me. I giggled after a second and pulled Sif with me to dance. I felt like I suddenly had no cares in the world.
Thor POV
I was having fun, but I couldn't help but feel anger towards my brother. He had shown Parker favor, and now he was throwing it away for someone he had been with in the past; and threw away like he was nothing. I glanced over to see Sif and Parker dancing and looked back at my friends.
"Don't do anything." Volstagg said and I sighed.
"He shouldn't have done this to her." I said and Fandral nodded.
"Go." Hogun said and I looked at him surprised.
"He needs to leave her alone." He said and Volstagg sighed.
"Wait until tomorrow... after the celebration." he said as I glanced back at Loki. He was acting as if Parker didn't even exist.
"No, I will be back." I said and they all nodded as Volstagg shook his head. I walked over to them and clapped Loki on the shoulder hard enough for him to know that I wasn't happy with him. He turned from the people he was talking to and looked at me.
"A word, brother." I said and he got ready to say no, but I squeezed and he nodded. We excused ourselves and walked to a small balcony far enough from the guest to not be noticed.
"Why are you ruining a perfectly good celebration by dragging me out here?" he asked me once I shoved him out of the hallway.
"Because you decided to go back to your play thing, and leave Parker alone while she looks for you." I snapped at him and he chuckled.
"You can't tell me that you are exclusive to Sif... if Jane came here you wouldn't leave Sif for her." he said and I chuckled.
"Jane and I agreed when I left to come back here to clean up your mess that we would talk to others. I don't want to stand in the way of her happiness, but you haven't done that. You made her believe that you wanted to be with her." I said and he ran his hands over his face.
"I am the god of mischief... the trickster god. I can do anything. I am not always good. She's a naive mortal! She will forgive me." he said and I shook my head.
"No matter what kind of god you are... you gave her your necklace. Mortal or not that means something. She's seen you with him, and she's upset. All of Asgard knows you are an idiot for attacking Midgard, and now you have snubbed her at this feast." I said and he scoffed.
"She will forgive me." he said and I knew that there was no way to get through to him. I shook my head and turned to leave him standing there with his ego and stupidity as I headed back to the feast. I walked in there and everything was still in full swing. Sif, Fandral, and Parker were dancing as Volstagg was talking to some woman. Hogun was drinking with other warriors, as Father raised his glass to me when I walked in. I smiled back as I walked to join them in dancing. Parker giggled as Fandral told her something, and Sif raised an eyebrow in my direction. I put my hands up in defense and we went back to having fun.
Parker POV
I felt so good as the feast went on. Thor and Sif were definitely enjoying each other. I looked over at Fandral as he smiled at me.
"I'm sorry I ignored you." I said and he chuckled as he extended me his arm.
"I am fine." I said and he smirked.
"Humor me." he said and I slipped my arm through his as he smiled at me. He gave me a gentle tug and I followed him as we left the feast. We were walking past hte gardens when I looked out there.
"They are so pretty." I said and he smiled at me as he steered us out there. We walked out there, and looked up at the night sky... the galaxy here was so much prettier than at home on Earth. I was looking around when I looked back at him and he was watching me. I raised an eyebrow at him and he ran a hand up my cheek. He lightly pressed his lips to mine and I gasped at the feeling. My nerves all still felt alive from the wine, and I felt everything has his hand ran down my check, past my shoulder, and down my pulled my arm to his waist as his hand finally landed on my back.
I moaned as he pressed his lips harder against mine, and his tongue swept through my lips. We began to fight for dominance as I held onto his waist and shoulders tightly. He dragged his lips down my neck and I felt eyes on me. I couldn't explain the feeling so I glanced around, and I found Loki watching us from right inside. He had his arms crossed over his chest, and a dark look on his features. I bit my lip as Fandral kissed back up my neck and gave a small peck on my lips.
"Are you alright?" he asked me as I pulled my gaze away from Loki and back to him.
"Yes, I am afraid I have had too much wine." I said as I giggled and he smiled at me.
"I am sorry if I got carried away." he said as he tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and I smiled.
"Not at all." I said and he offered me his arm again. I smiled and took it as I looked to where Loki was standing... but he wasn't anymore. Fandral walked me back to my room, kissed my cheek, and wished me good night. I smiled as I walked in and found Loki standing beside the fireplace.
"Nice to see you too." I said and he didn't say anything as he walked over to me. I reached out and smirked as my hand went through him. He looked surprised as I smirked.
"It's the wavy edges that give it away... but it's nice to you care so much that you came here in person." I said as I walked through him.
"I just wanted to see if you would invite him for the night." he said and I chuckled.
"No, I'm not you... I don't go off with random people for no reason." I said and he scoffed. I liked that I could talk to him without actually being here because it told me how much I actually meant to him.
"Loki, I see how much you care for a mortal... I got it. You got bored of me. I should have known it after hearing all the rumors swirling through court." I said and he looked enraged.
"I knew that you would turn out like every other mortal... useless and pathetic." he snapped and while it hurt I wasn't going to let him know that he had any affect on me. I watched as he disappeared and felt tears rim my eyes... the truth had come out. I ripped the necklace from my neck, and fell onto the bed. I was done with today.
A/N: Did Loki mean it?
