Thank you for the reviews!

I had walked through the next few days in a fog. I didn't talk much, I avoided Loki at all cost, and I was training every morning. I got up that morning and went to the training room. I walked in to see Fandral already in there and he had a bow and arrows there with targets.

"I know that you haven't been yourself the last few days, and I know that you have been training... so I thought maybe I could actually get a few words out of you if I showed up early." he said and I felt my lips curl up at the edges.

"I'm sorry." I said and he waved it off. I trained with Fandral and I was glad that my archery had gotten better. I had fun talking to him, and felt myself having some fun until Loki walked into the training room.

"Thank you, I will see you later." I said and he gave a small smile as he nodded. I left the training room before Loki could come near me, and let my feet take me wherever. I ended up in front of Helga's shop. I was debating when the door opened.

"You have been standing there for a few minutes... come in." she said and I gave a small smile before following her into the shop. She handed me a mug of steaming tea and I smelled it.

"Thank you." I said as I sat down with her and she smiled at me.

"I haven't seen you in a few days, and I have heard you aren't yourself." she said and I nodded. I knew that there was no used to lying to her.

"Loki and I aren't... well, whatever we were." I said and she nodded.

"Is your mark fading?" she asked me and I shook my head no. I was actually had at myself because it had seemed to only get darker.

"Why did you and him stop talking?" she asked me.

"Because he's already played the whole relationship out, and I lost to his ego." I said and she chuckled.

"That's Loki, but believe me you shouldn't give up. I can tell that you care about him, but trust me, you shouldn't give up." she said and I got ready to say something when the door opened and I turned to see Sif and Frigga coming into the store. We both stood up and Sif hugged me as Frigga hugged Helga.

"We couldn't find you and Fandral said you left awhile ago." Frigga said and I gave a small smile.

"We were just catching up." Helga said as she covered for me and they nodded.

"Good, but we will be late for the counsel meeting. You are coming, right, Helga?" Frigga asked her and she nodded. I was glad that I had put on a dress this morning and not my tunic and pants. Helga closed up, and we walked to the meeting hall. Frigga went to sit with Odin as Sif and I went to sit with the other merry warriors. Fandral smiled at me as we sat down.

"Feeling better?" he asked me and I nodded as I smiled with him.

"Lady Parker, will you be joining us tonight?" Volstagg asked me and I looked at him confused.

"We are going to the tavern." he clarified and I nodded.

"I would like to." I said as they all smiled at me.

We all sat there as Thor and Loki came in right before Odin started. I wouldn't look at Loki, but I could feel his eyes on me. The meeting was going well until Odin called me down to him. I had no idea what was going on as I walked down there to him. I walked over to him and he smiled at me.

"Lady Park has been with us for awhile now, and we are enjoying having her. I know that she is here to study our ways so I wanted to know what she has observed so far." he said and I smiled at him. I hating being put on the spot and I was sure I was bright red.

"Thank you sir, and thank you all for being so kind to me. I have enjoyed my time here so far, and I appreciate everyone letting me learn about what you do, and how your lifestyle is here in Asgard. I have fallen in love with you all and Asgard itself. I have learned a lot about community, simpler things, and remembering to that taking care of yourself and your family is important." I said and they all cheered. Frigga hugged me and I cutsy to Odin before going back to where I had been sitting.

"Good job." Sif said and I took a deep breath as they chuckled.

"Thanks." I finally said as we turned back to Odin. The meeting didn't last much longer, but Odin did announce that the feast for Loki, because he had been crowned the best warrior at the harvest festival, would be tomorrow night. Loki was going to ask one person to be his special guest for the night, and I noticed Sif and the warriors turn to look at me. I didn't move, or react as Odin dismissed us.

We were walking out of the room when Loki stopped me, and Sif said she would find me to go with them tonight. I saw a lot of people glancing at us, and I didn't want to make a scene or appear rude, so I looked at Loki.

"Will you walk with me?" he asked me and I nodded as we started into the palace. I followed him wordlessly to the library and he shut the door behind us.

"What do you want, Loki?" I asked him and he took a deep breath.

"I want you to be my special guest." he said and I nodded.

"I guess I really can't say no." I said and he nodded.

"I want the time with you to really talk to you. I want you to see that I am sorry for things, and to show you who I really am." he said and I cross my arms over my chest.

"I will go with you, but I have seen the real you." I said and pursed his lips as we stared each other down.

"Parker..." he was saying and I held up my hand.

"Loki, please... I know what I said the other night, and I am fighting with myself over a lot of things... so I am asking you to please just leave me be until tomorrow night." I said and he ran a hand through his head, but finally nodded.

"Until tomorrow night." he said and left. I sat down on the chair next to me as I put my head in my hands... I was just here to be as an ambassador... why did I have to fall for a prince?
