Chapter 12 - The Sorting
The First years walked away from the dock up the first year's steps to the side of the great hall where they see Minerva McGonagall at the top.
Lewis contacted Gen, Mo, and Lil through mental contact,
asking, "Would you three like to see the sorting through a projection I will send so you can watch it from out there with Hagrid? Would you three like that. Think the answer.'
'Yes," Through all three.
Then there was a large image on the wall of the front of the great hall. Showing the professors and the seats.
"Greeting First year students your about to enter
The Great Hall where we are going to sort you into the great houses of Hogwarts, this will be done by calling you names, and you will come up and I will put the sorting hat on you,
and he will decide what house you will be in. Now get in an orderly line and follow me."
"I have a few starts of term notices I wish to announce.
The first years please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students. Also, our caretaker, Mr. Filch," points to a ragged old man, "His names is Mr. Argus Filch,
his cat is, called Mrs. Norris, has asked me to remind you that the 3rd floor corridor on the right-hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death."
"Also, we have a new staffer, Charley Weasley,
our new DADA teacher. Who I hope finds the joy of teaching his younger twin brothers who seems to warship at the feet of Loki, and Percy, and also his youngest twin brothers and his twin nephews starting this year. Thank you." Said Albus,
He sits back down.
The group of first years huddled near the door wile Minerva walked to the front and grabbed a list and faced the room and placed an old dirty hat one the on a stool. He woke up and started singing the following song.
Hogwarts, Hogwarts,
Hoggy Warty Hogwarts
Teach us something, please,
Whether we be old and bald
Or young with scabby knees,
Our heads could do with filling
With some interesting stuff,
For now they are bare and full of air,
Dead flies and bits of fluff,
So teach us things worth knowing,
Bring back what we have forgot,
Just do your best, we will do the rest,
And learn until our brains all rot.
"First years please come up and sit on the stool when you name is said." Said Minerva.
"Longbottom, Neville." – "Slytherin."
"Malfoy, Hermione." - "Slytherin."
"Malfoy, Draco." - "Slytherin."
Several names were listed then, "Weasley, Harry."
Said Minerva the hole room went silent in confusion wile Harry walked up to the front and sat down on the stool and she placed the hat on his head, and he heard a voice. 'So there a lot of petechial you could have if you were in Slytherin.'
Said the Hat in Harry head.
'Slytherin it should be.' Through Harry.
Changing from talking in Harry head to outload. "The first Weasley for Slytherin, Harry Weasley goes Slytherin."
The entire common room went quite no one expected this at all,
but they were also confused why the name was different
or the hear color and freckles but somewhere nervous about him, some told they were dangerous, killers. Killed his own family and other did not know at all.
"Weasley, Lewis." Said Minerva.
'So…' Started the hat then Lewis shut him out.
"Young Weasley open your mind to me." Said the hat out loud.
The hole school was shocked, they started whispering,
and fear went through the school, who can block the hat.
"It is rude to intrude into another mind without asking."
Said Lewis, "You were made by a founder, they did not teach you right and wrong did they."
"I cannot sort you unless you let me in," Said the hat.
"I will share one thang with you," Said Lewis, Sharing only his title Lord Slytherin. "That all you need to know,
so you should know what animal I should be wearing by that title, I want a reptile on my unform and color to match my eyes."
"Lord I bow to the and ask for a humble apology you great times eight grandfather's, brother's, son made me. I should know better. Don't shred me, I will serve you good. You family is one of the oldest families."
Then he said one more thang, 'Ron and Rob Weasley. Should be snakes, don't question them let them. And stay out of their minds, that mine and my twins. Forget what you saw in Harry mind,' Through Lewis, 'For I have one more title, The Master of Death, this is my second life. I also take back Harry memories you have, that are not yours to know.' Then removed all Weasleys and Potter memories from the hat.
"Slytherin, for the Lord of the Snakes." Stuttered The Hat.
Minerva and Albus looked at each other warried.
"Weasley, Robert," said Minerva. Rob walked up and sat down, and she put the hat on his head.
"I was given orders, talk only. Slytherin?" Asked the hat.
"Yes, I want Slytherin to." Said Rob.
"The Lions are not doing to good, A Triple Play,
Another Weasley for the snakes, Slytherin House."
He walks to the Slytherin table and join his nephews.
The Gryffindors and Weasleys looked shocked.
"Weasley, Ronald"
"I assume you want to join your twin in Slytherin."
Asked the hat.
"Yes." Said Rob.
"Again, to Slytherin with the Last Weasley to be under me till next year with Gen and Mo, then another six years for the last, see you then Lil. Lord of Snakes, be happy with me."
Then she finishes List of names. Then he looked at Percy who now looked confused and pissed, looking straight at Lewis.
"Percy looks confused and now mad, I may have screwed up."
Lewis now looking nervous and a little depressed.
"Welcome!" he said. "Welcome to a new year at Hogwarts! Before we begin our banquet, I would like to say a few words. And here they are: Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak! Let the feast...begin." And the food appeared.
"I had no doubt that all of us would end up together."
Said Lewis. "You are going like our room." A ghost appeared.
"Hi, Sir Nicholas." Said Lewis.
A couple six years showed up, and one asked, "You keep the hat out of you head and you scared it. How?"
"I threated it, I said I would destroy it." Said Lewis,
"I also erased Weasley and Potter memories from it."
"You did," asked Sur Nick.
"My mind is my own, my family business is our own." Said Lewis,
"My mind is my castle, only a few people are welcome in.
Defiantly not a ratty old hat, I have shredded minds for this before. Should have done that to that hat. It should have asked, manners are everything."
"You ordered the hat to stay out of my head." Said Ron.
Lewis tapped on Ron's head, "That is mine." Said Lewis,
then tapped Harry's head, "This is mine," then also taped Rob's head, "Don't think I forgot you Rob, your mine to."
"They are your?" Asked Nick.
"We are a perfect little group, we are bonded," Said Lewis,
"We are each other's. We don't let go."
"How are the sons of Lilly and James doing?" Asked Nick.
"You remember a Lily Evens and James Potter?" Asked Lewis.
"Yes, but you two look nothing like them." Said Sit Nicholas.
"You look like Arthur, Molly, and the rest of the Weasleys.
But they are my Lions, instead of My Snakes? Through those eyes they are Lilly's."
"Your Snakes? I thought we were the Bloody Barens."
Asked Lewis. "And the Lions where yours, can we be friends with us being snakes? I would like to."
"You are a Hogwarts student, your all mine." Said Sur Nick.
"This is one school after all."
Lewis was now smiling and said, "How did I know you say that,
you don't know how happy I am. We are their sons,
but we wanted our own path." Said Lewis. "Also remember some of your lions are mine."
"Lewis, are you ok?" Aske Nick.
"Not sure yet, not sure what my dad reaction will be or for that matter the rest." Said Lewis, looking right at Percy again,
"We got to talk to someone."
Lewis walked over to Neville, "Come with us my new friend."
Then they walked up to the short man at the front.
Flitwick said, "I know this was going to be the first thang after sorting, Hi again Lewis."
Lewis said, "So Hi again Hogwarts best Professor."
This surprised Flitwick then said, "That honor should not be Snapes as the head of you house or Professor Weasley.
Who are you pulling along there."
"This is Nev, he has been claimed by us." Said Lewis.
"What?" Asked Nev.
"Your one of us now Nev, we saw someone we liked,
we get out hooks in and don't let go.
Uncle Bill is a good teacher to, but you are my first contact with Hogwarts, and the nice lady there, Professor Sprout."
"So, your official a Weasley now?" Asked Flitwick.
"Would you like to know more of Lilly and James might be able to get some pictures, possible one you can talk to."
Lewis looked like he was going cry and
Harry right next to him looked the same.
"There are pictures of them out there?" Asked Lewis.
"Aside from the one book we don't have any that are just pictures." Said Harry.
"Thank You Professor." Said The Twins.
"Have a felling you're going be our favorite to,
you know what I am capable of, and Gen next year."
Said Lewis smiling. "When you have some time, would like to talk to you in your office, also can you stay here just in case."
The other Weasleys boy all showed up front, but Percy.
"I have a bad felling, from the look I saw on his face,
think we may be homeless."
"You know how to do a few spells, some advanced."
Said Flitwick. "This will be neat."
"Lewis, you know Flitwick?" Asked Fred.
Lewis looked at Flitwick and he said,
"He was here when Lilly and James Potter where here.
Good night, Professor. And he tested me and my shadow."
"Why are you four in the house of Snakes?" Asked George.
"Why are you Snakes?"
"Does it matter as to what house we are in?" Asked Lewis.
"You guys are still you, who cares what house you are in,
your still one of us." Said Fred, hugging Lewis and then the rest.
"No, it is fine." Said George.
"What about Dad over there." Asked Lewis.
He looked at Percy who in fact did look like he hated his boy now, the twins standing there. "He a prat." Said Fred.
"We still have you Daddy." Said Lewis. "But looks like Dad he hates me now, he said he would not to, might as well call it night,
but at least I have my Loki's if he is going hate me can we at least play some tricks on him. This is Neville Longbottom,
we are adopting him as a new brother."
"Sure Lewis, right George." Said Fred.
"You mean you're finally going open Percy season?" Said George.
"Yes, he hates me, why protect him?" Said Lewis.
"I have some ideas, itching powder in his undies, making all his close pink, or disappearing, or disappearing in the halls, fire flakes in his shoes."
"You did that to us?" Asked Fred.
"You tried to scar my Ron?" Asked Lewis.
"Yes." Said Fred. "But was meant to be funny."
"And was also a bit funny how you could not wear shoes for a week, because of the burns that would not go away." Said Lewis.
"But at the end of the week they healed on their 'own',
right after you apologized to Ron. Sorry about the Fire Flakes.
But you really made me mad." Said Lewis.
"That was you, that was dirty little sneak." Said Fred.
"And was fair after all. I think he is going regret this,
very soon, my son has better ideas then us." Said Fred.
"You should be happy. I went with shoes." Said Lewis.
"Wanted to do underwear first, but I did do itching powder to.
Seems a bit munch."
"Just glad you did not put those flakes in our underwear.
That would have hurt." Said Fred.
"You would never physical hurt Ron, just scare." Said Lewis,
"So I figure feet, not extreme pain with your balls.
I know the pain that can be done there. Can you distract him
so we can get by him?"
"Sure." Said the Middle twins.
They went up to Percy while the Jr Marauders snuck by in a group of Gryffindor and Hufflepuffs then joined the Slytherins, but on the way by Lewis added lots of itching powder to Percy underwear and to the rest of the robs,
with a slight delay, the four stopped outside the door watching. "Guys watch Percy." Said Lewis. With an evil grin.
"Percy why are you looking at your Lewis like you now hate him,
you know he can tell what you fell by look." Said Fred.
"You broke you promise." Flitwick was now close by.
"But he turned traitor…" Said Percy.
"No, he did not, he warned you and is still your little study buddy." Said Fred, "You know how for the past five years you have not been pranked at all not even once?
Did you not think why it stopped? Exactly five years ago what happened, when Lewis moved in and started studying with you,
and his little shadow Gen."
"Figured Mom or Dad said something?" Asked Percy.
"No, just so you know, Lewis has opened Percy Season,
you heart him." Said Fred. "He knows how you hate being tricked so he stopped it and he loved studding with you.
Now he ours he is going be tricking you now. You know how smart our boy is or should say MY boy, you lost him now, he is OURs, we won't lose him like you have Percy…"
"But he in Slytherin…" Started Percy.
"You're his dad, but he still has his smarter Daddy."
Said Fred. "We are still on his side, right uncle George."
"His daddy there is right, Lewis' Uncle is here for him."
Said George. "And Harry, Ron, and Rob are still ours."
"But he turned on us…" Started Percy.
"I DON'T BLOODY CARE IF HE TURNS INTO A REAL SNAKE,
LEWIS IS STILL THE SAME LOYAL LEWIS." Yelled Fred.
"AND FOR SOME REASION HE LOVES YOU AND ALWAYS STOOK UP FOR YOU AND YOU TURNED ON HIM BECOUSE HE CHOISE A DIFFERENT HOUSE, IT IS JUST A DAM HOUSE, WHO CARES, …" Yelled Fred.
"A mad Daddy is a bit scarry." Said Lewis.
"Is that Fred?" Asked Ron.
"Did not know he had this side. You burnt his feet and he did not get this mad." Said Rob.
"Fred Weasley stop yelling, you now have the attraction of the whole school." Said Flitwick.
"Sorry," then turned back to Percy, "And knowing our Lewis he tried to warn you to. If our little shadows ended up in Slytherin then it can't be bad, all they been through and there
not evil just themselves. Also, we are writing Mom on this."
Said Fred, "You best make this up to him or your life will be a living hell not only from the Slytherins who I sure will stand up for their new house mates. Lions are loyal to so you might be kicked out of the house till you do, we have followers you don't."
Then the middle twins started walking off but stopped.
"I hope you love sleeping in the hall."
Then Percy started itching. "What did you two do."
Asked Percy.
Fred saw Lewis smiling at the door and the other three laughing with him almost falling down, with the other three.
"It was not us, in his mind you drew first blood,
he just drew second blood. You won't stop itching till he decides you should. I think Lewis wants his Dad back.
Because I know he hates this."
"You bombed him with itching powder." Said Ron.
Fred and George walked over to him, Fred hugged him, saying,
"You did that?"
"Yes, I did. Triple douse." Said Lewis, "He might not have skin,
he coming I must go."
Then they quickly followed the Slytherins off to the Dungeons,
and got into the common room, then Lewis could see where the door is, and could tell where the room door is.
"This is the neat thang." Said Lewis. "Nev you to."
Speaking Parseltongue Lewis said, 'The Hears of Slytherin are here open up to the Masters of the Most Noble and Ancient House of Slytherin.'
Then a Door opened up with a sign on the top that said,
'Hear of Slytherin Room', Lewis moved all five of the boys' stuff into the room, and they walked into it. "Nev you in here to."
Then Nev walked into the room. Following Harry, Ron, and Rob.
Lewis walked over to a boy staring at him, "Who is the Slytherin house Quidditch team leader?" Asked Lewis.
"I am," said Markus.
"Marcus, do you have open spots?" Asked Lewis.
"Yes, four of them." Said Markus. "Seeker, Keeper,
and two chasers. You know me."
"We played and I am a great speaker, Harry is great at Keeping and the two Weasley twins are great at scoring they seem to act as one." Said Lewis. "Want to get Nev trained up to as a backup player. We are all Blacks."
"We give you a try." Said Markus. "Do you get brooms?"
"Possibly, possibly a…" Lewis leaned in and whispered so low only Markus could hear, "That new one that not out yet,
there possible the Nimbus 2001."
"The Hears of Slytherin on my team." Said Markus,
"You the head of that family house, right?"
"Yes, and Harry." Said Lewis. "Good night my new friend.
Lewis walked through the Arch then four bells sounded for a school wide announcement, and in a voice that was not Dumbledors, or any teacher said, "I am Slytherin,"
a voice came through the whole school saying.
"The Co-Masters and current generation of my hears have returned to Hogwarts and have taken the room for the
'Hear of Slytherin' and the current Co-Head of the Most Noble and Ancient House of Slytherin have taken their voting power on the school board."
Then the doors closed behind them, "Will this will be a fun year.
Not a boring second, right?" Said Lewis.
"Nev you are now one of us, we adopted you as a Weasley,
you are now our brother, five of which are Lions."
Said Lewis. "Then there us here to."
They were in a living room, with four doors, going off and a huge window into the Black Lake. One room was just a
large empty room, the next was a Dining Room and Kitchen in the corner, the next was a Library and Study,
the room with sinks and small rooms with toilets.
Then lastly a bedroom with a full Bathroom.
"That a huge bed. Are you guys ok with one?" Asked Lewis.
"Sure, it is more of them enough room, with Lewis and Harry,
they have not grown munch, and they don't take up space,
and we can make a second latter when needed." Said Ron.
"Nev, do you want your own bed or just sleep up where with us,
we don't care this bed is huge." Said Lewis.
"I am good with in the middle." Said Nev.
"Fine with us right Harry?" Asked Lewis
They striped and changed into new underwear, and they got into bed, Lewis and Ron on one side and Harry and Rob on the other.
Nev got in the center. Then Ron hugged Lewis and put his legs around him. "You mine forever."
Lewis kissed him, "And your mine, forever and ever."
"Honey do you mind if I hug Nev really quick?" Asked Lewis.
"Sure," Said Ron.
Lewis rolled over and hugged Nev, "Good night bro."
"Good night," Said Nev.
"Had to give you a proper, entry into the Weasley family.
You're a brother now, and your meet the other three Weasleys soon, they are very cute."
"Awesome," Said Nev.
"I am going back to Ron, but fell free to hug me tonight as well."
Said Lewis. "We Weasley like hugs."
"Good night, Lewis." Said Nev.
"Good night." Said Lewis, then he kissed Nev.
Lewis then went back to hugging Ron, then they all went to bed.
Before the message happened back up in the Gryffindor tower,
Fred was writing their parents.
Dear Mum and Dad,
Percy turned on our Lewis and his twin brother,
and our little brothers. He did heart his little boy Lewis,
he his Dad after all, and is now mad at them for being Slytherins, but them being that house does not matter they are still them, please send a Howler to him for breakfast.
I mean who cares what house there in Lewis looks up to Percy and heart his Lewis, this is inexcusable. Hearting out little shadows is wrong, he hurt Lewis which hurt the other three,
they seem to act at Septuplet now.
Fred and George Weasley
PS. From Fred – If his Dad going stab him in the heart,
His Daddy will be here for him.
"My twin, do you agree with this before I send it?"
Asked Fred. "We can change it if not so."
George read it then added
PS. From George, His Uncle and we have their backs.
PPS. Your middle twins will take care of them since Percy is skipping out on his Duties as the Weasley Big Brother,
Bill and Charley did it if Percy won't do it, we will.
"I like that." Said Fred.
"Sind it?" Asked George.
Then Loki and Thor showed up. "Boys we only got one,
but you can take it together." Said Fred.
Then they flew off with it. Then they went to bed.
"Good we are now doing Percy job now, he did fail." Said George.
"We love our little ones." Said George. "We are going have to talk to the four out there to. They seem to know what each other knows very quickly."
Then they head in their heads, 'Loki, is Percy enjoying,
his current state of itchy?' Asked Lewis.
'Yes,' Through Fred.
'You got him good.' Said George.
'Did he go to the hospital wing with The Doctor?' Asked Lewis.
'He did the Doctor trying to get rid of it, don't think any luck.'
Through Fred. 'He is having fun.'
'We will see how much luck he has in the morning,"
Through Lewis, 'Does he know I did it.'
'He thinks it was me and George, but he knows it is your itching powder, since you and the others used it in pranks wars,
we have had.' Through Fred.
'Good Night, Daddy and new Dad.' Through Lewis.
"George, he called you Dad." Said Fred.
"Yes, he did. Wow he is mad, never seen this from him,"
Said George. "And people tried killing him, he did not mad at."
They snuck into Percy room and laid on either side of him,
and they started poking either side of him.
Percy woke up, saw them then asked, "Why are you in my bed,"
then looked at a watch, then added, "It is late, why are you waking me at this hour?"
"You need to talk to Lewis first thang in the morning,"
Said Fred. "He is now mad."
"He made me his Dad," Said George.
"And not you," Said Fred.
"What do you think of that." Asked George.
Oli waled over, and asked, "Did you reject him?"
"Get close on now," Said Fred.
"Or you go out like that," Said Oli.
Percy got dressed, then all four of his roommates forced him out the portal, then Fred and George realized there was a new guardian. "Those emerald eyes, we got brothers with eye that look just like that?"
"He used to have hair just like that." Said George.
"Holy cow," Said Fred.
"So, Fred and George how the twin been," Asked Lilly.
"Your James and Lilly Potter," Said Fred.
"We are," Said Lilly.
"My boy, he can't see this." Said Fred.
"Nor can mine," said George.
"Who is your sons?" Asked Lilly.
"They were given to us," Said Fred.
"Charley and the back stabbing bastard known as Percy,"
added George, "But we are loyal to them."
"There named, Lewis and Harry James Potter, now Weasley."
Said Fred, "You gave them to us."
"We did?" Asked James.
"You did the guardian spell," Said George.
"Then put them in our laps," Said Fred.
"We looked this up," Said George.
"You were supposed to put them in our mom and dad arms,"
Said Fred, "Making them there guardian, but we are happy you missed it up, we love them."
"Why did you stab them in the back Percy?" Asked Lilly.
"They became snakes," Said Percy.
"Then started eating others?" Asked James.
"No," Said Percy.
"You know I am only third gen Lions, before that we were a family of snakes. We stopped being snakes when Tom Riddle.
Ruined the name of Slytherin." Said James, "Also there only houses nothing more, hated the house concept. As did my brothers, we loved each other. We made friends with Sirius,
and Regs, a family of snakes."
"Lewis set me up with James here," Said Lilly.
"He wanted someone for me, Lewis had Ron, and Harry had Rob,
Sirius had Remus. But the minuet Lewis Saw Regs he had to have him to." Said James.
"What where you brothers named." Asked Percy.
"Lewis Ronald James Potter and Harry Robert James Potter."
Said James, "Names my sons after them."
"Billius you dad brother had twin sons," Added Lilly. "Ronald Lewis Billius Weasley, and Robert Harry Billius Weasley."
"That strange," Said Fred.
"Talk to Lewis," Said James. "He knows."
"Night boys." Said Lilly.
Fred and George went in and the portal closed.
"Talk to Lewis, make up." Said Lilly.
"He in Slytherin, I can't get to him." Said Percy. "Know where it is but that it."
He went to the great hall and sleep at the table.
