He is sent to Lothlorien to seek recovery from the elves, as he no longer has a place in the kingdom of Rohan where he is regarded as nothing more than a treacherous, villainous snake. In Lothlorien, he is placed under the care of Lady Tathareth, a mysterious and reclusive healer that takes interest in him.
