"For he will walk among us, and he will smite the evil from this earth. For he who comes in our time of need is not of mortal breed, he is the Destroyer, the right hand of our Creator and the one who brings fear where there is no hope."

The Slayer opened his eyes. His helmet was on? The tomb was open? The questions in his head asked on and on but then they answered themselves when he realized that another force of evil is razing all who oppose them. But who in their right mind creates another threat to civilization? It wouldn't matter soon, though. Because every monster there was would die by his hands. He sat up from the tomb of his and stepped out. He went to go grab the Super Shotgun behind his back and... it wasn't there. Again. All of his weapons were stolen from him, for the third time! Rage-inducing, it was. At least he had his chainsaw and Combat Shotgun but the more, the merrier.

He looked behind him and saw a portal. It was the same portal he took after he left Samur in the dust after destroying the Father's life sphere. He was surprised it stayed this long, and with no other clue how he was supposed to get to the monsters he's supposed to kill he went through it.

The ARC ship was empty, likely fallen into disrepair after there was no need to continue being the ARC. No bodies in sight. Everyone in here must've left before this sea ship was just an artificial rock floating across the ocean. Maybe the was some sort of energy left. Doomguy looked around and felt two things. A switch and something else. He thrusted the switch forward and on came the lights, sort of. Most of them were dimmed and two didn't even turn on due to cracks over time, but it did give him enough light to see without his helmet guiding him. The other object he felt was a pair of glasses, broken. He gave them a tight look.

'Ready for launch, Doomguy! ... *sigh* I'm sorry.'

He put the glasses down. Now's not the time to dwell on old memories. He knew where he had to go. Luckily, the Divinity Machine didn't give only him strength. It also gave him knowledge on how to use every technological thing he came across with proficiency. So he put in the co-ordinates of where he needed to go but he had to use every computer on the front deck to do it. Was most surely time consuming but it only made him more eager to kill.

After an hour or longer the portal formed, but it was all cracked and bent unlike the normal smooth and straight. The lightning from the portal also seemed to be excessively more powerful than the normal ones too. The shape of the portal just shouted age, and this probably meant no return. No return to the ARC ship, at least. He brought out his combat shotgun to prepare for any danger, cocked it, and went through the portal.

He arrived on a cliff at the world he needed to be. And what he saw was sure as hell devastating to the normal human eye. It was night and a ship just shot its fellow ships down into the ground just like paste. Several ships were flying all over the place. The inhabitants of this world couldn't even tell which one was an ally or an enemy. Loud sirens erupted through the city. An uncountable amount of monsters were charging at this one tower with clocks all over it. A giant bird monster pecked its beak on to the forcefield it laid on, but he couldn't see what was inside of it. Apparently the fucking moon had a half of it shattered? All of this disarray, so suddenly. Before he could get Caught in a Mosh the sirens stopped for a brief moment. Then he could hear a woman speak.

"This is not a tragedy. This was not an accident. This is what happens when you hand over your trust, your safety, your children, to men who claim to be our guardians but are in reality nothing more than men. Our academies' headmasters wield more power than most armies, and one was audacious enough to control both.

They cling to this power in the name of peace, and yet, what do we have here? One nation's attempt at a synthetic army mercilessly torn apart by another's star pupil. What need would Atlas have for a soldier disguised as an innocent little girl? I don't think the Grimm can tell the difference. And what, I ask you, is Ozpin teaching his students? First, a dismemberment, now this? Huntsmen and Huntresses should carry themselves with honor and mercy, yet I have witnessed neither.

Perhaps Ozpin felt as though defeating Atlas in the tournament would help people forget his colossal failure to protect Vale when the Grimm invaded its streets. Or perhaps this was his message to the tyrannical dictator that has occupied an unsuspecting kingdom with armed forces. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue as to who is right and who is wrong, but I know that the existence of peace is fragile, and the leaders of our kingdoms conduct their business with iron gloves. As someone who hails from Mistral, I can assure you the situation there is equally undesirable.

Our kingdoms are at the brink of war, yet we, the citizens, are left in the dark. So, I ask you, when the first shots are fired, who do you think you can trust?"

Then the sirens continued. He didn't know who was right or who was wrong, but that speech was evil enough to make his blood boil. Who looks at this travesty and chooses not to ensure the citizens were safe but to turn the citizens against it's leaders after something out of their control happens? He felt exploited when he learned that the Maykrs were helping his former eternal enemy, Hell, create Argent by sacrificing thousands of healthy worlds. This was not the same thing. This was rage inducing, anger assuring, whatever he could think of to describe his madness.

He could see a few black patches coming his way. Those must be the monsters he was sent here to kill. Seems like they wanted to bite the leg of Death itself. If so, let them die trying.

Cinder looked at the carnage with a smile on her face. Her plan worked effortlessly. Now all she needed to do was find the Fall Maiden, Amber. From the place she stood she looked proud at her work... then she noticed some Grimm running in the opposite direction of the city. 'Probably just some stray hunters,' she thought. How little did she really know.

Kick. Punch. Stab. Slice. Grab. Throw. Rip. Tear. Rip. Tear. Rip. Tear. Rip. Tear. The Doom Slayer killed every monster that surrounded him. He sliced one's head off. He then shot a grenade with his equipment launcher into the mouth and threw it ahead of him. It blew up then the ashes blinded the monsters in that area. Then he proceeded to shoot all of the sticky bombs in his grenade launcher dry at the ones in front of him. That created a gap between him and the next ones to die. The monsters were starting to doubt that they could actually kill him but they were relieved when some cavalry arrived. Big elephant monsters. These guys were the size of a Baron of Hell, but that would do just fine. He dashed towards one with his chainsaw out and sawed one elephant's legs clean off. Once it was legless he ripped off the tusk and spun himself around the elephant, cutting it and several monsters around him into halves and holes like swiss cheese. After a sizeable amount of cutting he threw the tusk and it spun itself like a boomerang hitting a bunch of those big wolves up like bowling pins, then it crashed into a building. Now the monsters started to doubt that they could take him on again. One by one the monsters ran away to save themselves or find an easier target's emotions to feed off of. Slowly, but surely.

After that rage attack, the Slayer saw the monsters run. He was obviously going to chase them down but they all ran in different directions and that didn't go with him quite smoothly. He chased after the ones that were running back into the city.

The AK-200s shot down any Grimm that came across their path. Glynda Goodwitch and Qrow Branwen was right behind them killing the stragglers. After Glynda pushed one into a building and Qrow cut a Grimm behind her in two, the AKs stopped firing. They brought down their guns and turned a full 180 degrees behind them. Their displays glowed an angry red. "What?!" Glynda shouted. This wasn't supposed to happen. Before the robots fired a green blur went past them. After it disappeared the robots' display went off. Then their torsos fell behind the legs, whilst the legs fell to their knees then toppled over.

The two hunters were confused. One, what happened to the AKs? Why did they turn? And two, who or what just zoomed past us? The two of them must've asked the same questions in their head.

"Glynda, did you just-"

"Yes I did!"

"Did you think it was-"

"Couldn't possibly. Her remains were left in the arena. Which begs the question. Who?"

Barry was an all-time family man. Had a bakery he inherited from his father. Loved his wife, two kids and all. To see such memories he and his ancestors before him get ripped and torn away so easily in one night was terrifying. After safely getting his family to a good shelter he got attacked by a Beowulf. He could feel the saliva from it drop down his face and covered his eyes. Ew. Before it bit his entire head off the top half of it slipped to the side. The body of the Grimm fell on him and he was stuck. Or he was stuck until a green humanoid being tossed it off of him, got a good look at him, wiped the saliva off of his eyes and threw him towards the shelter his family was hiding in. They were glad to know he was safe.

"Barry!' His wife called.

"Katya!" The two hugged. Barry opened his eyes and asked, "Did that happen? Yes it did, Other Barry. Yes, it, did."

-/

The Slayer looked around. Alright, no more monsters, currently. There must've still been hundreds lurking around the city. Might as well head to the place where the other monsters are running towards. That huge tower. He was close pretty close to it, must've lost track saving some people and killing even more monsters. So, off he was.

Ozpin viewed security cam footage, live footage from scrolls, all kinds. It truly was devastating to witness such a great academy fall into the hands of Grimm. But what peaked his interest the most was the abundance of green flashes across some of the footage. It was there, Grimm get killed, then it's gone in the next few frames. It was confusing to say the least. He grabbed his cane and walked away from his desk. Halfway until the elevator he stopped. The ground shook. Then it shook again. Could this mean...?

-/

The Slayer could feel the ground shake but he stood still. Where did that vibration come from. What is it? Why is it here? All of his problems were answered when a giant dragon burst out of a mountain. A dragon? He's had a fair share of dragons but that one was the biggest he's seen ever since Argent D'nur. He knew he was going to kill that thing. But how was he going to get there? His question was answered when a ship crashed right next to him and slid into a building. Prayers answered. He got in the bullhead and opened the door to the cockpit. He grabbed the dead, hooded human with dog ears? Threw him out of the ship, turned it on, backed the ship up out of the building and started flying. He was a decent amount of time into the air when he suddenly got a plane transmission he wasn't able to decline.

"Rory, I thought you were supposed drop the Grimm off to- who are you?!" A man with red hair, a mask made out of the monsters bones, and more animal ears? Demanded answers. But the Slayer didn't have time to deal with pussies so he flipped the man the bird and punched the hologram. So badass that he punched the hologram and ended the transmission. So that's what these monsters were called. Grimm. So he was going to kill a Grimm dragon? Alright. He continued his path to kill the dragon.

A paladin was sprinting at the hunters in training until it fell in front of them.

"Huh! That went better than I expected!" Sun exclaimed.

"Weiss!" Yang ran over to her from the side. "You're okay! Have you heard from Ruby?" Weiss shook her head. "What about Blake?"

"She went after an Alpha... and some members of the White Fang."

"You look for Ruby. I'll look for Blake." Weiss could only hold a desperate thumbs up.

Some time went by. The Slayer was getting close to the dragon. As he was approaching he could see two women in that clock tower fight each other. Then the dragon started to fly away again. Another long trek to kill it, ugh. Then he realized it was going to crash into the two! Pushing the ship into overdrive he drove the front of the ship into the dragon and with the dragon on the nose, he crashed the ship. He was sent bumbling around the cockpit but was left with no scars. He sprinted out of the ship to see the carnage and hopefully a corpse. The dragon laid there, assumed dead. His Doomblade unsheathed, and he walked over to the head of the dragon. Before he could slice its head off it started to get back up from under the ship. 'Damn,' he thought. 'If I don't kill this thing right now its going to kill the innocent.' So he stabbed the neck of the dragon and off the two went flying.

In the air, the dragon moved every part of its body to swing the Slayer off on to the ground. But it didn't know how persistent the Slayer can be. With every movement it made the Slayer only moved closer to the body. Out of ideas, the dragon crashed into the clock tower to get him off. The Slayer was thrown off course and let go of the dragon by mistake. He fell alongside the tower until he hit the ground. Confused, the Slayer got up and looked around. Turns out he was on a ship that was going to crash into the floor. He turned around immediately and ran as fast as he can towards the end of the ship that wasn't going to crash. Once he reached the top he heard the dragon roar and saw the dragon, again. It was charging right at him with its beak wide open. That gave him a chance to go for the heart and slay the beast! Fearless, he jumped the highest he could with his armblade outstretched above him, his hand reaching out in front of him he allowed himself to get eaten by the dragon. It was quite the spectacular spectacle.

In the belly of the beast, it felt like a water slide mixed with plinko around him. He was the ball that had to go in the whatchamacallit. The body of the dragon was quite clunky and uncomfortable. But his distress came into fruition when he felt a soft thing beating. He turned his head around there it was, the heart! Chainsaw time. The chainsaw was held in his hands and after he revved it, the small blades on it cut through the heart slowly. He could feel a change in elevation, the dragon could possibly be moving upwards into the sky. He got distracted by the heart of the beast finally being cut in half. Now he could feel another change in elevation, the dragon is falling back into the ground! Going back up the tongue wouldn't work, it's very wet. So he just cut through the flesh of the beast so he could jump out and land on a building nearby.

Pyrrha was on her knees. An arrow shot her straight through the foot, and her aura wasn't enough to stop it. She couldn't walk, she could only crawl.

"It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours." Cinder circled around Pyrrha to meet her face. "But take comfort in knowing, that I will use it in ways you never have imagined." Cinder finished.

Pyrrha conjured enough strength to say a few words. "Do you believe in destiny?" She asked.

Coldly, Cinder answered. "Yes." And with her newly Maiden power, made another bow and arrow. She pulled the string back.

-/

Ruby ran up the tower. Fast, faster.

-/

The Slayer was up in the clouds after how much height he gained when he was in the dragon's body. He could soon see what's coming but didn't know what to expect. Once the cloud cleared he could see three girls on the destroyed clock tower. Seems like one was going to kill the other while the third watched. After clarifying what was going to happen if he didn't crash into the ground he dived downwards.

-/

Cinder let go of the string. The second she did, the entire platform on that clock tower began to shift upwards. The arrow she fired flew into nothingness. She had a look of confusion and saw a man in green armor doing a superhero landing. She got a brief second to look at him before, with insane speed, he dashed forwards and clocked her into the face. Her carcass bursted through a wall and off the side of the building. She flew in the air for a few seconds before she got back into control of her body and flew herself forward with her fall maiden power. Once she got back to the tower, she couldn't see anyone. That didn't leave her with a proud smirk on her face. But, there was no time to dwell on it now. She didn't want to waste the chance to see Vale burn. But she wouldn't be looking with a smile worn.

-/

Ruby woke up and sighed. Seems like her father heard her.

"Ruby! You're awake!"

"What happened?"

Taiyang sighed. "Your Uncle Qrow found you and that redhead. Both of you, unconscious, he got you out of there, though. Brought you home safely."

"Yang! Is she alright?"

Tai had to come up with an answer quickly. He didn't want to deal with the guilt of telling her what happened. So, vaguely, he told her, "Um... she's uh... she's gonna be alright. I think she's just- I think it's just going to take some time for her to get used to things. She's too strong to let this stop her. *sniffle* I'm just glad to have my girls back at home."

"What happened to the school? And Vale? Were they able to clear out the Grimm?"

"Things in Vale are under control. The school? It's, it's not that simple. Something cleared out the Grimm. We don't know what it was. All we've seen from security footage are green blurs that eliminate Grimm in an instant. But, that's not important. We can talk about it later, things are just, kind of a mess."

"It's always a mess." Qrow said behind them drinking his flask. "Mind if we have a minute?"

"What, I can't stay here?"

"Tai. Please."

Taiyang sighed. He gave Ruby a kiss on the head and then said "I'm glad you're alright. I'll go make us some tea."
