Roxas opens his eyes to find himself face-first on a black road. He gets up and looks around. The heart-shaped moon and the tall black buildings indicate that Roxas is yet again in The World That Never Was. Roxas looks around and spots a person in an organization hood. Maybe Xion? The figure walks towards the large building in the center of the world, known as the Memory's Skyscraper. Roxas follows the figure as they get closer to the skyscraper. The figure notices Roxas and turns around.
"You. . ." The man spoke like a million whispers, unable to actually hear what he says, but perfectly able to understand him. "False chosen one. . ." the man says, as he draws his own keyblade. The man's keyblade resembles that of a dragon's wing, with a guard resembling bat and bird wings, and at the very top of the guard lies a bright blue eye.
The hooded figure attacks Roxas, who summons his keyblade and blocks the attack. The hooded figure rises into the air and forms a ball of darkness, he slashes through it with his keyblade and sens a myriad of dark fire towards Roxas. Roxas attempts to block the attacks, but the fire circles around him and is able to hit him from behind. Knocking him off balance. The hooded man envelopes himself and darkness, and charges at Roxas. Roxas prepares to slash at the man with his keyblade but is suddenly surprised by a large shadowy hand grabbing him by the throat and lifting him into the air. Roxas attempts to break himself free, but the shadow arm's grip is too strong and he can't be set free/ He kicks at the hooded man and thrashes around, trying to loosen the grip on his throat. But the longer he's held like that the harder it is to fight as he attempts to gasp for air but is unable to breathe. As Roxas begins to pass out from the lack of Oxygen, he's able to get a close look at the assailant. His long silver hair reminds him of Xemnas, but his lack of height and a black blindfold over his eyes match the description of the imposter. "Riku. . .?" Roxas says, barely able to speak as his eyes close and his consciousness fades.
Roxas' eyes open widely as he gasps for air, getting up where he laid. He looks around in panic before hearing a familiar voice.
"It's okay Roxas, I'm right here," Xion says. Wrapping her hand around Roxas' hand. Roxas breathing slows and he's able to relax a bit.
"Where's everyone else? And Maleficent?" Roxas asked worryingly.
"She's gone, don't worry. She won't be bothering us for a long time." Xion says. Roxas looks down at Xions hand and notices the blue gemstone in one of her rings.
"Is that-?" Roxas asks before being answered by Xion
"Yeah, it's a drive form. Merlin called it Wisdom form. It amplifies the strength of my magic." Xion lifts her hand away from Roxas' and turns to show the backside of her hand, giving Roxas a better look at the gemstone on the ring.
"That's cool! It really suits your fighting style." Roxas says, happy that Xion can finally make use of a drive form as well. Xion smiles and for a moment there is peace, just two people happy for one another. The door to the house opens and the two look to see Merlin enter
"Ah! Your awake, very good, very good. There's something I'd like to talk to you two about." Merlin says pulling out the torn page that was in Roxas' pocket, and a book. The book resembles that of a young children's book, with a yellow bear in a red shirt seen on the front. "Some heartless got their hands on this book and shredded some of the pages. I was able to put some of them back together, but it seems the heartless had taken a few of the remaining pages to other worlds." Merlin opens the book, and with some magic, reconnects to torn page seamlessly to the book.
"You see, this isn't any ordinary book. It's actually another world! With its own inhabitants, though unlike other worlds, there are no heartless here." Merlin comments. "If you two wouldn't mind, could you come back and enter this world once you collect more pages? I don't know how the tearing of pages has affected the world's inhabitants. Roxas and Xion nod in agrement. Roxas not wanting to stay out of action for long, and Xion being fine with Roxas joining since the world poses no danger. "Okay then. I'll leave you two alone now. Good luck on your journey." Merlin says, turning and exiting the house, leaving the book with them.
After Roxas gets out of his bed the two keyblade wielders approach the book and touch it, suddenly engulfing them in light and taking them to the world known as the 100-acre woods. The two find a hollowed-out tree that resembles a house. There's a yellow bear with a red shirt outside. The two approach him
"Hi there." Said Roxas, waving his hand.
"Hello there somebody-I-Don't-know." Said the bear. Roxas and Xion are confused by the way the bear talks. The bear sits down and starts to rub his head "Sorry, I feel I'm forgetting something. Think think think. . ." Said the strange bear. Roxas and Xion sympathize with him, not being able to remember everything about their other life as Sora. The two sit down next to the bear.
"Is there anything you do remember?" Xion asked.
"Well, I know I'm Winnie the Pooh, and I like honey." said the pooh bear.
"Hmm, well, I saw another home on our way here. Maybe that place has honey! Wanna come see?" Roxas asked, trying to lift the bear's spirits.
"Yes, that would be nice." The bear said, still rubbing his head. The three got up and began walking to the nearby home. The two reach the home and find another hollowed-out tree used as a home. Suddenly, a small critter comes from a burrow under the ground. He sees pooh rubbing his head and asks him:
"Say, what's wrong sonny?" the critter's buck teeth causing him to whistle while he speaks.
"Oh, I was just thinking. . . . and- and wondering."
"You should be skedaddling out of here sonny!" Said the critter
"Hm? Why's that?" asks Xion.
"Why? Because it's Windsday, of course!" said the critter.
"Windsday?" Roxas thought. "Does he mean Wednesday?" Roxas thinks on. Confused by the critter's strange way of speaking.
"Windsday? Well, Happy Windsday!" Said the pooh bear. "Now, I think I shall wish everyone a happy Windsday!" Said the bear, strolling down the path towards the home ahead. Suddenly the bear stops and rubs his head "Oh, bother. Let's see now. Who is "everyone"?" The bear says sitting down to think. Suddenly a large gust of wind comes by and they hear a scream.
"Oh, help, help! Somebody save me!" said a small pig-like character, who was so small he was picked up and blown away by the winds. "Pooh! You two! Help! Please!" the piglet says as he grabs onto a branch of a tree.
"Hold on, little guy!" Xion says, the two keyblade wielders running to the piglet's aide. Once the two reach the tree. Xion tries to reach for the piglet, but he's too high up. "Hey Roxas, a little help?" Xion says. Roxas nods and Lifts her by her waist into the air. Xion grabs the piglet and the two let him go near the ground.
"Whew! Thank you-" The piglet stops and looks closely at the two before continuing. "Sorry, you remind me of my good friend Sora. I'm Piglet!" said Piglet.
"Nice to meet your Piglet. I'm Xion, and this is my close friend Roxas. We're also friends of Sora!" Xion says. Before they could speak anymore Piglet turns his head and notices someone familiar
"Oh. here comes Pooh Bear." Said Piglet.
"Oh, hello there. Nice to meet you. Happy Windsday!" say the bear
"Nice to m-meet you? But, Pooh. It's me, Piglet." Piglet says, confused at pooh's strange behavior. "Don't you remember me?" Piglet asked
"Sorry Piglet. Somethings wrong with Pooh, he's seems to have forgotten a lot things." Said Roxas.
"Oh, Pooh! That's-" but before piglet could finish his sentence, a strong gust of wind comes by and picks up Piglet again. Roxas and Xion run after the little pig while the pooh bear sits down and continues to think, trying to remember everything.
"Roxas!" Xion says. Roxas nods already knowing the plan.
"On it!" he says. Xion jumps into the air and Roxas draws his keyblade and uses it as a platform for Xion to land on. She lands on it and he pushes her with all his might, launching her into the air high enough to grab Piglet. Xion holds the piglet close to her as she reaches the ground, doing a dodge roll once she lands to reduce the impact. Once she's stopped she carefully lets go of Piglet.
"Oh, that was rather frightening. I do hope you're all right, Piglet." Said Winnie the Pooh, who walks up to the three.
"Pooh, you remembered my name? You really truly remembered?" Piglet asked, his voice filling with hope.
"Of course Piglet!"
"Is there anything else you remember?" Xion asked.
"No, I can't say there is." said the pooh bear
"Well, don't worry! I'm sure you'll remember eventually" Roxas tells Pooh. The two say their farewells to Pooh and Piglet, before leaving the world inside the book.
Roxas and Xion appear in Merlin's house, and as they do, they hear a familiar voice.
"There you two are! I thought you up and left without me." Said Namine, holding a couple of bags. "How are you doing Roxas? Feeling well?" Namine asked.
"Yeah. I'm good. Where were you?" Roxas asked. "You weren't here when I woke up."
"I went to the shopping district to pick up more supplies since you to use so many. I also spent some time introducing myself to Leon, Yuffie, Aerith, and Cid." Said Namine.
"Oh, thanks! We really did need more potions," said Roxas
"Yeah. I can't keep curing you every time you trip over nothing." Xion teases.
"Hey!" Roxas says, the three have a quick laugh. "So I think we have everything we need. I'm gonna go to the Gummi ship." Roxas said
"Alright, you go on ahead Roxas. Xion and I have something to do real quick."
"We do?" Xion looks at Namine confused. Roxas chuckles
"Okay then. See you there." Said, Exiting Merlin's house. Xion turns to Namine.
"So, what do you need me for?" Xion asked.
"Oh, nothing. I just wanted to ask what you and your boyfriend did while I was gone." Xion steps back, her face turning red.
"Wait- What-!? Namine we're not- I'm mean, He's not my-" Namine laughs.
"Oh come on, You two were totally on a date in there! What were you two doing?." Namine said, leaning closer with a smirk forming on he face
"Um- we, uh-" Xion says, panicking even more, and growing more flustered by the second. "Uh- nothing!" Xion says before running out of the house "Roxas wait for me!"
"Hey! Wait up!" Namine laughs, chasing after her.
