"Okay you two, we're here." Namine turning to face the two keyblade wielders.
"All right!" Roxas raises his fist into the air, very happy to be back in action after his little rest at Hollow Bastion.
"Let me get a few things and then we'll head down." Xion, taking potions from a pile on the cockpit floor, still a tad flustered from Namine's Inquires back at Hollow Bastion. After finishing preparations, the two keyblade wielders descended to the world below.
Roxas and Xion find themselves on some sort of fortress, with cannons facing the sea.
"Geeze, this place sure looks grim." Says Roxas, looking around the torch-lit fortress. Suddenly the two hear a commotion from a nearby town.
"That doesn't sound good!" Xion says the two keyblade wielders run the fortress' edge see a mass panic among the townsfolk.
"Wait, is that Pete?" Roxas says, ducking behind some crates so he's not seen, Xion joins him, and then two eavesdrops on his conversation with a group of strange men.
"If you see two brats with keyblades, steer clear, ya hear me? They got a kinda magic that don't belong in this world, see? And nobody knows what it'd do to ya. Especially when the moon shines and reveals what you really are-." But Pete is cut off by Roxas taking action
"Roxas wait!" Xion whispers trying to stop him, but it's too late. Roxas leaps over the crates and aims his keyblade at the strange skeletal men, and casts a thunder spell, instantly destroying a handful of the men. Xion emerges from the crates and stands by Roxas side, there's no point in hiding now. The men turn around to face the two, and the one in front of Pete speaks.
"A match for Barbossa ay?" says the man, presumably named Barbossa. Barbossa Pulls out his own blade and points it at Roxas and Xion you five, deal with them! We'll get Turner! The five pirates attack and the others run off. Roxas and Xion deal with the pirates effortlessly, already knowing how to deal with them, before turning to face Pete.
"Hey! This ain't over!" Pete exclaims, before turning around and fleeing. The two consider following him but decide stopping the skeletal men is more important and follow the path they took. The two get closer to the more dense part of the town when they hear the voice of a woman not that far.
"Where are you taking me!? Let me go!" Says the woman, her voice followed up by that of a young man
"Elizabeth! Stop!" the man yells before the sound of his footsteps is heard chasing after the woman, presumably Elizabeth. Suddenly the man is surrounded by multiple Shadows and is overwhelmed. Roxas and Xion run to his aide and taking out the heartless with ease.
"Well done!" the man says, thanking them for their help. "My own fencing skills are not to be ashamed of. . . but I've never faced such creatures before." said the man
"We heard you chasing after someone named Elizabeth, is she okay?" Xion asked.
"No, I was too late. But I must rescue her!" the man responds." Would you two be willing to help me?" asked the man. The two instinctively look at each other, knowing that if they were in his position, they would do what it takes to save those close to them. The two suddenly realize they're staring at each other and turn back to look at the man
"Yes, of course," Roxas says. "I'm Roxas."
"I'm Xion."
"Nice to meet you Roxas, Xion. I'm William turner, but please, call me Will." The two realize that this must be the Turner that Barbossa mentioned. But why had they taken Elizabeth instead of him? The two put that question aside for now as Will turns around, "quick, we must head to the docks!" Will said, leading the way to the docks. Roxas and Xion follow closely behind.
The three reach the docks just in time to see the pirate's ship sail away into the distance
"We're too late!" Will exclaims. "They've taken her onto their ship and set sail," Will says with anguish
"Then she's long gone. The black Pearl is nigh uncatchable." says the voice of an unfamiliar man. The three turn around to see a man in strange clothes. H wears a strange red Bandana over his dreadlocks. "Best find yourself another girl, mate." His strange way of speaking and dirty attire is uncannily similar to that of the strange skeletal pirates. The man boards a nearby boat that clearly isn't his and makes his way towards the steering wheel.
"You. . . What are you doing aboard the Interceptor?" Will asked. "She's off-limits to civilians."
"Ah, fortunate that I'm going to commandeer her, then. She'll make a fine pirate ship". Said the pirate.
"So you are really are a pirate," Roxas noted.
"Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please." Will thinks deeply for a moment before speaking again.
"Take us with you. Help us hunt down the Black Pearl and Save Miss Swann," commanded Will. "I got you out of that jail cell, Sparrow. Do this and your debt's repaid." It seems the two have a history together.
"You'll have to win the fair ladies heart yourself mate, I see no profit in it for me," Jack says, brushing off Turner's reminder of the past.
"Are you sure you can sail her, all on your own?" Turner responds back. The captain thinks for a moment before speaking again
"You have a point there," Jack says, motioning for the three to join them on the boat.
"Thanks, Sparrow," Will says, as he climbs aboard.
"CAPTAIN Sparrow." Jack snapped. Roxas and Xion climb aboard the interceptor, and Roxas introduces himself.
"I'm Roxas by the way, And that's Xion," Xion waves to Jack, Confirming that as her identity, After some last-minute preparations, the four set sail towards the open seas to chase after the Black Pearl.
Roxas, Xion, and Will Turner took care of any stray heartless and ambushing pirates, while Jack steered the ship, with his eyes fixated on a compass.
"Why are you so fixated on that compass?" Will Turner asked.
"It'll lead us to Isla de Muerta. Long ago we had sailed there with our eyes looking for treasure, but Barbossa and my crew Mutinied, and left me deserted on an island."
"So they're after the treasure then," Will said.
"The treasure's already their mate, as well as the cursed placed on it. They want to get rid of it, as for me, I want what's rightfully mine." Sparrow said.
"The black pearl?" asked Roxas. Jack nodded. After some time they finally arrived at their destination.
"You two can stay and guard the ship. Me and Turner will rescue the lady." Jack said. Before running off to the caves of the island. Some time passes, but Jack and Will have yet to return.
"If Pete's around, then that definitely means there are heartless here as well," Roxas said. "Those two aren't used to fighting heartless, they may need our help," Roxas added on. Xion thinks for a moment before responding.
"You're probably right Roxas. We should've gone with them from the beginning." Roxas and Xion draw their keyblades and begin to run for the caves. Just when they make it to the entrance, they see Will running towards them, with a girl in a yellow dress, presumably Elizabeth Swann.
"Quick, they're after us!" Will exclaimed. Pirates are right on their tails.
"We'll hold them off! Give us a signal when the ship's ready to sail!" Said Roxas.
"Alright." Said Elizabeth, as the two run off to the ship. Roxas and Xion strike at the pirates with both magic and their blades, but with every pirate they slay, another one emerges from the caves. After some time fighting, Xion catches a glance of smoke coming from the ship.
"That must be the signal! Let's go!" Xion said, casting a Magnera spell to pull the pirates away from them so that have space to run. The two make it to the ship and notice Jack's absence. "Where's Jack?" asks Xion.
"Well. . ." Will Turner explained how he went against Jack's plan and, knocked him over the head with a paddle. While that happened, Barbossa tried to free him and his crew of the curse, but cutting Elizabeth's hand and pouring her blood over the treasure, only to find that she had lied to them about being a Turner. He tossed her to the side and his crew began to argue with him, while that happened, Will grabbed Elizabeth and a gold medallion, thinking they'll need it for later, and ran off. "I had to do it. Jack isn't a fairy-tail pirate. Real pirates aren't to be trusted." Xion and Roxas felt horrible for leaving Jack behind as they set sail, but they didn't have time to argue or go back and save him. After some time sailing, Elizabeth notices something

"Will, look!" Everyone looks out to the sea and sees the black pearl within sight, sailing right towards them
"Quick, what do we do?" Roxas asked
"What would Jack do?" Xion thought out loud, trying to think like a pirate
"Run for it maybe?" Will suggested before a loud boom was heard, and the ship shook with ferocity, they had been shot. The shaking of the boat tripped will and he fell into the ocean
"Elizabeth! Roxas! Get down!" Xion yellows, grabbing both of them by the hand and pulling them to the floor. Roxas sees the medallion on the floor and grabs it
"We're going to have to fight!" Exclaimed Roxas, Drawing his keyblade and making his way to the deck. Elizabeth Turns the ship to sail towards the pearl. As they get within fighting distance, Pirates climb aboard their ship. Roxas and Xion cast their spells and fought back with the best of their abilities. The black pearl shot at the interceptor, shaking the two off-balance. Xion quickly dashes to a nearby canon and returns fire, ceasing fire from the black pearl for long enough to take down multiple pirates Suddenly, around seven pirates board the ship and surround Roxas and Xion. they charge at the two, and Xion responds by enveloping herself in a mass of blue energy, going into Wisdom Form, she then responds by shooting a barrage of magic missiles at the pirates in rapid succession, stunning them long enough for Roxas to knock four of them back into the ocean below. With the reduced numbers, Roxas and Xion take out the last three pirates with ease.
The pirates respond by sending over double the amount they had previously, roughly 25 pirates, as well as Barbossa, were aboard the Interceptor. Roxas and Xion fought back as best as they could, but they were vastly outnumbered in the small space, and they were forced to the ground. After being tied up and bound together so they couldn't move easily, the two were thrown into the captain's quarters and locked in, along with Elizabeth.
"What should we do?" Roxas asked Xion, hoping she had a genius plan up her sleeve.
"I don't know. . . I can't summon my keyblade like this." Xion says as she struggles to move while bound. Suddenly the door opens, and someone else is tossed in the room with them.
"Why hello there mates," says Captain Jack Sparrow, on the floor, also bound. The door is shut and locked behind him. "Really nice of you four to leave me with the crew of the black pearl," Jack says mockingly.
"What were we supposed to do? They were after us!" Roxas talked back.
"Hey, I'll give you that, you made it this far. Now we're gonna get blown up with the ship instead of having our throats slit at the island." Jack responds. "Well, at least that's what would happen." Jack says, he gets up from off the ground and his binds fall to his feet "If I weren't Captain Jack Sparrow." Roxas and Xion are in awe as he grabs a blade hidden behind a barrel and frees them of their binds. "Now how about we get these explosives off the ship and get out of here?" Roxas and Xion nod, drawing their keyblades. The three break down the door locking them in the quarters while Elizabeth stays inside. The three see that the Black Pearl is long gone, but a few heartless and explosive barrels remain on the ship's deck
The three split up and throw the barrels overboard while dealing with the heartless. With their quick thinking, they get rid of the heartless and barrels in under a minute, saving the ship and themselves from destruction.
"The deck's all clear!" Roxas says, looking at the captain, Jack runs to the steering wheel.
"That's the second time I've had to watch that man sail away with my ship." Jack says with distaste "But I'll be havin' her back soon enough." He says to himself as the four set sail. The four arrive at Isla de Muerta yet again.
"This time, you two come with me. You stay with the ship, lass." Jack says to Elizabeth. But Jack can't run off before she argues
"I'll do no such thing! WIll could die in there." Elizabeth argues. "Dear William will be fine. Trust me." Says Jack
"I am not a fool, Jack," Elizabeth argues again, unable to put her trust in the drunkard pirate
"How about us, can you trust us?" Xion says, calmly. Elizabeth looks at Roxas and Xion for a moment, before responding.
"Roxas, Xion- Please bring back will safely." She says, turning to board the boat. Roxas, Xion, and jack run off the cave entrance. The three are ambushed by pirates multiple times, but they're able to take them down with relative ease. The three make it to the treasure room just in time for them to interrupt Barbossa's speech about freeing them from the curse. Jack throws a couple of bombs at the skeletal pirates, blowing them up, and clearing the way for them to deal with Barbossa himself. Will Turner rushes off to get a blade to fight with, while Roxas and Xion deal with any pirates coming to Barbossa's aid. Jack and Barbossa square off, fighting atop the black rock in the center of the cave. The two block and parry each other's attacks, until Barbossa gets the upper hand on Jack, and stabs him in the stomach, Xion and Roxas look on in horror, before Jack steps backward into the light, and revealing a rotting skeletal body, and a gold piece in his hand.
Roxas and Xion smirk, and get rid of the last of the goons before joining Jack in the battle against Barbossa. Barbossa shoots at Jack, knocking him back, before throwing a handful of bombs Xion's way. She Braces herself and is sent flying back, taking minimal damage, before she can recover, Barbossa Runs and prepares to finish her off, but Roxas Jumps in between him and Xion, entering valor form and blocking the attack with his white and black keyblades. Xion recovers and leaps over Roxas and Barbossa, She hits Barbossa over the head with her keyblade mid-air, stunning him long enough for Roxas to take advantage of the situation.
Roxas slashes at Barbossa's stomach with both of his keyblades, knocking him back towards Xion, who Casts a blizzard spell directly in Barbossa's face finally the two-step back and allow Jack to finish him off.
"Right, care to surrender Barbossa?" Jack asks. The tired captain of the black pearl stands up and unsheaths his sword
"Well, enough of this, then. . ." says Jack, dropping his blade to the ground and drawing his pistol. "What say we call it- a draw?" aiming right at Barbossa's chest.
"Jack, how many times do I have to tell ya-" but before he can finish, Jack grabs his gold piece and throws it over to will, who's standing next to the casket of gold, holding a knife. He then turns his head to look at Barbossa, making sure this shot counts, before shooting him. "Heheheheha!"
"Laugh while you can, Barbossa!" exclaims Will turner, Cutting his hand and covering the medallion and gold piece in it, before dropping his medallion and jack's gold piece. Barbossa suddenly flinches and looks down at his shirt, it begins to stain a dark red color.
"I feel. . . cold." Barbossa says, before dropping to the floor. The four leave Barbossa to die and return to the interceptor.
"What now, Jack?" asks Will.
"Whatever I want, now that the Pearl is mine again." Says the captain. The two turn to face the black pearl, and then at each other.
"That she is. Thank you, Jack." Jack nods and begins walking to his ship. While Turner begins walking towards the interceptor to meet with Elizabeth. He turns around after noticing that Roxas and Xion aren't following. "Are you two coming? Turner asks
"Don't worry, we're not from around here. We have our own ride home." Xion says. Turner is confused, but he understands that the two know what they're doing.
"Alright. Just don't steal any of that Aztec treasure!" He says as he goes back to the interceptor alone. Once he's out of sight, Roxas turns and walks towards the cave
"Roxas, you heard what he said," Xion said, smirking.
"But Xion! Thing of all the Munny that gold is worth, imagine the potions we could buy!" Roxas says half jokingly. Suddenly the two see a small light in the sky, in the shape of a keyhole.
"Well, there's our ride," Xion says. The two pull out their keyblades and aim them to the sky. Beams of light shoot out from their keyblades and pierce the keyhole, opening a new path to new worlds. The two keyblade wielders disappear in a flash of light and reappear in the gummi ship.
When the two appear within the gummi ship they are surprised to see Namine asleep on the center console Her head resting on her sketchbook, covering the drawing that she had worked on while the two were away. Unable to see the Drawing Roxas and Xion decide to wake her up.
"Hey, sleepyhead! We're back." Xion shouts, startling Namine, who quickly closes her sketchbook almost falls out of her chair before playing it cool as if nothing happened. Xion smirks, getting her revenge for what happened at Hollow Bastion.
"Uh- hi!" She responds, trying to act as though nothing happened.
"Are you okay? You've never fallen asleep while we're out." Asked Roxas.
"Oh! Yeah, I'm fine. I just don't really care for Pirate stories." Says Namine. The three laugh before sitting in their seats and blasting off to a new world.
"I wonder what she was drawing." Xion thought. She puts the thought out of her mind however. She needs some rest before visiting the next world. As the two keyblade wielders close their eyes to sleep, Namine reopens her sketchbook and looks at her sketch.
It's rough, but you can just make out what it is. Two figures, a girl a boy, holding hands at the beach, eating ice cream together.
