Namine had spent the last couple of weeks in and out of the Twilight Town mansion, She had spent some time out of it, training with Aqua and hanging out with Roxas, Xion, and the rest of the gang, but with Roxas, Riku, and Aqua recovering from their injuries from their battle against Sephiroth, she's had all the time she needs to finish what she's been working on. She takes a deep breath as she finally finishes the last of her work.

"All right, that should be it. Now all I need to do is notify King Mickey," she says, materializing her keyblade using it to transport herself to the gummi ship. She goes to the terminal and sends a message to Disney Castle ( /a/7z1K9cQ [imgur link]). After notifying the king and him planning on coming as soon as possible, Namine prepares to show off her surprise. Appearing back in the manor and awaiting the mouse king on the first floor.

Namine sits down and opens her sketchbook as she begins sketching a new drawing. She draws the general face shape and rough hair before drawing the fine details of the face, she sighs as she looks at her sketch of Riku. She worked with him for so long yet she knows so little about him. Her attention is snapped away from her drawing when the door cracks open and King Mickey enters the manor.

"Hello, your majesty! It's great to see you again!" says Namine, not having seen the mouse since she had reunited with Roxas and Xion on Destiny Island.

"Hiya Namine! What'd you want to show me?" asks the mouse looking around the dilapidated manor.

"It's a surprise. Follow me." Namine gets up off the ground and escorts the king up to the library, the floor still open to the secret lab. "Since I've been training under Master Aqua, I've been getting better with my keyblade. I've been able to materialize my keyblade much faster, nearly-on-demand at this point." Namine says as she continues to guide Mickey into the lab below.

"That's amazing Namine!" says Mickey, surprised at the incredible progress she's made.

"Thank you, your majesty," says Namine politely. The two enter the room with the computer and transport to Data Twilight Town. Namine continues to speak as they make their way to the door on the opposing side of the room. "Recently, however, a thought occurred to me. What if I used the keyblade in combinations with my power over memories?"

"Oh?" Mickey says, curiosity growing in the short king. The two enter the large rectangular room where Namine, Roxas, and Xion had fought against Axel so long ago, before continuing to the door leading to Namine's surprise.

"Well, I had found out that I can use my keyblade to unlock the chains of memories that bind Donald and Goofy to Sora," Namine explains.

Mickey opens his mouth in shock as he begins to understand what Namine is saying. "Wait, are you saying, what I think you're saying?" asks Mickey. Namine nods as she opens the door, revealing to mickey the pods in which Donald and Goofy slumber. He runs up to them and presses his hands on the glass, before looking over to Namine. "How long?" he asks.

"Soon, very soon," Namine responds. He smiles before looking around.

"And what about Jimminy?" asks Mickey.

"Well. . . he chose to sleep in Sora's pocket," says Namine. "I can't take him out and move him without risking Sora reawakening early, so he'll be stuck slumbering alongside him until Sora's memories are restored as well," Namine explains.

"I see. . ." Says the mouse king as he thinks for a moment. Suddenly a noise comes from the pods. Mickey steps away from the pods as this happens.

"Looks like it's time," says Namine. The pods open revealing Donald and goofy to the outside air for the first time in a while. They slowly float out of the pods almond onto the ground, before opening their eyes.

"Your. . . highness?" Donald mutters before the two are suddenly hugged by the small mouse, he lets them go and looks at the two faces which he hasn't seen in so long.

"Gwarsh your highness. It's nice to see you and all, but where are we? And where's Sora?" asks Goofy Namine walks past them, and opens the door at the end of the hall, revealing the white room with the large pod in the center. The two rush into the room, with Mickey closely behind them.

"What happened?" asks Donald

"His memories haven't been completely restored just yet, so he's still sleeping," Namine explains.

"We lost our memories?" Goofy asked.

"Yes, I've spent nearly a year trying to restore Sora's memories. For a while, we thought we'd have to wait for his memories to be complete to release you both. But I found a way to allow you two to wake up."

"Wow. . . well thank you for restoring our memories! Um. . ." Goofy thinks for a moment

"Who are you. . . ?" asks Donald. Namine flinches a little as she hears this. She knew they wouldn't remember her after she fixed their memories. But that didn't make it sting any less when she heard the question.

Namine introduces herself. "I'm Namine. It's nice to meet you again."

"Again? We've met before?" asks Donald

"I thought you were Kairi for a moment. . ." Goofy says innocently. Namine's heart stings a little as she's told this

"We have a lot of explaining to do. . ." says Mickey. Namine nods along with this, before Namine and Mickey, guide Goofy and Donald to the white room on the opposite side of the mansion. The dog and duck take a seat before Namine and Mickey take one as well. The two explain to Donald and Goofy what has happened while they're gone, and some of the things they've forgotten. Their adventure in Castle Oblivion, Organization XIII, Who Roxas and Xion are, and how they're connected to Sora, and so on.

"Gwarsh. . . It looks like we missed a lot." says goofy, scratching his head,

"How long until they take their mark of mastery exam?" asks Donald.

"In a few weeks, roughly a week or two after Christmas," says Namine. The two sigh, knowing their reunion with their friend will have to wait a while. But it's not all gloom in the manor. The mouse gets off his seat and approaches the two.

"Aw, don't look down. Sora'll be back to his usual self in no time! All we have to do is wait." Says Mickey, as optimistic as ever. The dog and the duck smile and nod. "Now c'mon. Let's go back to the castle. There are people waiting for you. . ." Mickey says with a smile. He materializes his gold-colored keyblade. Donald and Goofy grab hold of it, and the three disappear in a flash. Namine takes a deep breath and smiles. She grabs her sketchbook and gets out of her seat, before exiting the white room and leaving the mansion. She won't need to come back for a long, long time.
