I'm back! I just have to say thanks to the two people who reviewed, you both really made me feel better about writing this story. It may seem like I'm being over dramatic but I'm verry insecure about my work and every time a read it I thought of so many things I could have changed and made better. So, thank you Yamora Love n Friendship and fabu07!

Enough with my sob story, that's not what y'all came for. I wasn't going to update so soon but when I'm in a mood to write I believe I should do it unless my creative juices won't be flowing as greatly. Anyways here is the 2nd chapter. This chapter is going to be a backstory of "The Girl in The attic" as in how she got there. Anyways enough talking on my part, please enjoy and FYi I don't own Naruto or its characters I just have an obsession with SasuSaku.

The Girl in The Attic

In a tiny village called Nikkō closely beside the village hidden in the leaves lived a small pinkette and her two parents. Her name, Sakura Haruno of the Nikkō village. She was a bright sweet girl loved by nature just as much as she loved it. Though she loved running through the big flower field that her home village has, and the forests that holds all types of creatures and bodies of water; there is one thing that has her love unconditionally. And that's her family. Her mom Mebuki and her father Kizashi. Let's not forget her best friend in the whole world Ino of course.

Her mother has short dirty blond almost brown hair, with a band that's trimmed to lay on her forehead and points down to the middled of her eyebrow line. She has pail skin with eyes a deep green as a field of new fully grown tree. Mebuki wears a long sleeveless white shirt that holds her family's symbol on the back, paired with pink pants that end in the middle of her calves. Her father Kizashi has nude pink hair that sticks up it five sections of his head. He has tan skin with turquoise eyes, and he looks old for his age of 45 caused by stress of living in a small village with not a lot of job opportunities.

When Kizashi and his wife Mebuki were young, the village of sunlight was a very well-known vacation place to go, especially by rich clans from other villages. Businesses for the locals were great, including for Kizashi and his then girlfriend Mebuki. Since business was doing so good and they've been dating for 5 years, they decided that they have been dating for long enough and should tie the knot. After getting married the two decided why wait, they should get started on their family immediately.

They had no luck on having kids. They didn't know what the problem was; and it became a depressing time for the two. They let years past thinking that if they didn't try so hard that a child could come naturally. But no luck with that either. They sought out every great doctor they could find spending as much money no matter the cost to see what the problem was and how it could be resolved, not paying attention to the changes being made around the village they call home.

Though they found no luck in anything they tried, they thought that when they are meant to have a child the time would come, and they would wait no matter how long. Business in the village took a quick high rise when the Uchiha clan of the hidden leaf village came to take a vacation, courtesy of the 3rd hokage for Danzo a well known name around the fire country was plotting to steal the eyes of the Uchiha and kill the entire clan by trying to approaching the head of the clan Fugaku's son Itachi and asking him to assist on the assassination.

The Uchiha clan is a large rich clan as well as it is popular despite them having a bad reputation amongst other clans. The Uchiha coming to the village and having a good time means the village can bring in more tourist, and more tourist means more money for the locals. The locals including Kizashi and Mebuki decided to make sure the Uchiha clan had the greatest time in the village of Nikkō.

The Uchiha clan stayed a good month in the Nikkō village. It was a great month for Mebuki and Kizashi, but that's not the reason why the month was such a great month. Durning this month Kami-Sama blessed the Haruno's with a bun in the oven. The joy that was brought to the Harunos was unbelievable. They finally have the child they've been wanting as well as the money that came from the Uchiha's stay in their village.

During Mebuki's pregnancy the Uchiha's came back every month for a vacation. Though it wasn't the whole clan that came, they would send at least three people from the clan to their village. People started to get suspicious of them for many reasons. One being that though tourist come back to have some relaxing time in the village, they wouldn't come back every single month. Another is that the people coming never looked like they were there for a vacation; they would ask the locals questions and walk around as if they are scouting the place.

1 year later

It's been a year and the Harunos are living their best life with their light pink headed bundle of joy that they named Sakura; she has fair skin and eyes as green as emeralds. Everyone in the village knows about the Harunos problem with having kids, and how mush they wanted one. Even at the age of Mebuki 37 and Kizashi 41 they are blessed with a blossom of joy.

It was March 28th Sakura's birthday. Everyone in the tiny village gathered all for the one-year-old girl. To one that is on the outside looking in, you would think the people where crazy for coming together all for a one-year-old girl; and maybe they are but all is love in the Nikkō village. They will celebrate with each other for things they feel necessary.

Throughout the months the Uchiha kept coming, and they deemed it suspicious for the whole village to come together for the one girl but didn't let it show for they had to keep a low profile. 2 months later and it had been told to the village that they would be merged with the hidden leaf village, but not any part of the leaf village. The part that holds the Uchiha clan's compound. It was a major shock to the village. What would happen now? Will they still be a popular spot to visit? They quickly got their answer when the head of the clan called a meeting.

Uchiha Fugaku. How did Fugaku call a meeting? The locals didn't know. They also didn't know that what was going to be discussed at this meeting was going to be the start of a rude awakening to them. (A.N. Ima skip the whole going to the city hall and sit down. I think yall get the idea of a small village meeting up and where it is.) As the local people of the village of sunlight talk about how ridiculous it was that the head member of the Uchiha clan was calling a meeting in THEIR village that thy willingly let him and his clan visit every month for the past year.

The chatter died down as the Uchiha monarch walked in front of them. As Fugaku stood in front of the people of the village of Nikkō everyone got quiet, and he began to speak. "People of the Nikkō village. As you know your village and the Konoha village will now be merged. Not only will you be merged but you will mainly be merged with myself and my clan's territory." Fugaku stated with a somewhat malicious tone. The people who live within the small village started to whisper to each other about how they already heard the news about their village coming together with the Konoha village, and what is the point of this meeting if he is just going to tell them something they already know.

Fugaku cleared his throat to bring every one's attention back to him and continued "Yes you know all of that already, and the main point comes now. I have bought the Nikkō village and us together will be making some changes." After that statement was made there were many gasps heard throughout the people, a lot of people were concerned, and could you blame them?

Fugaku stood there waiting for the people to take in the news that they just heard with a triumph smirk on his face. A minute or two later he continued "Listen up, the new changes, and policies will be given out tomorrow." With a smile on his face Fugaku ended his speech with "have a blessed day and with me in charge may we all make money together" and with that he left.

As nice as the people are in the Nikkō village they could not regret anything more than to have let the Uchiha clan step one foot in their village a year ago. But what was there to do. All they could do is hope that the new changes won't cause their village to fall. With Mebuki and Kizashi they were merely worried for their oh so sweet daughter and how this change will affect her future in the Nikkō village.

A few months later and the Nikkō villages original locals have been pushed aside from their homes and jobs due to many of the Uchiha clan's members. Taxes have raised and so has the bills and cost of things. The Uchiha members live for free on the land due to Fugaku owning it, and if the original locals couldn't pay their bills timely, they were aggressively kicked out and replaced with apart of the Uchiha clan members wanting to live there.

During this time not many people visited the village anymore. That meant for the Haruno family sadly started having some major financial problems. That caused more arguments between Kizashi and Mebuki, the only thing that kept them going is their little girl Sakura. But will she be enough to keep the two together? They didn't even know themselves. But the beautiful smile Sakura showed them every time she saw them gave them hope and showed the love, they had between each other when they created the darling creature.

2 years later

Walking through the town was Fugaku and his family of 3 (A.N. not including him) where walking with two people from the Nikkō police force who are also Uchiha's. "After two years we finally get to come back here" Mikoto said happily. Fugaku smiled "I wanted it to be perfect so when you all came back you al could have fun in peace" he said then ruffled 17-year-old Itachi's hair. Right after that one of the police forces men who were with them pulled Fugaku aside. "Excuse me Fugaku-Sama but we have a quick problem we need to attend to.

As Fugaku went to decline and tell them they'll need to do it another time Mikoto cut in "Go. It's a small problem and the quicker you finish the quicker you can come back" she said with a light smile. "Are you sure?" Fugaku asked. Mikoto nods "We'll be waiting for you at the flower field. I've been waiting to see it again since the last time we were here". "Yes father, plus Itachi promised to play outside with me today" 5-year-old Sasuke said. "Ok ok. I'll be back in 15 minutes ok." And with that he left.

Mikoto and her two boys walked through the beautiful and large flower field of the Nikkō village. During this time, Mikoto spotted a certain pinkette all by her lonesome enjoying the flower field and the nature around it. What was surprising is when Sasuke saw her he stopped in his tracks from playing with Itachi which is shocking considering he always has his attention on his older brother.

"Sasuke what's wrong?" Itachi asked but was ignored. He came closer to his younger brother and found a slight blush on his face and decided to look where the young one was looking and smiled. He had to admit she was a beautiful young girl with big green eyes, fair skin, and unusual pink hair. You would think she was a flower herself if not for her movement and lack of a stem.

Mikoto came from behind them to mainly say that their father has returned, but quickly caught sight of Sasuke's blush and what he was noticeably staring at. "Pretty, isn't she?" she said to her youngest son with a small smirk on her face. That made Sasuke's blush deepen "NO!" Sasuke said turning his head away. "Who's pretty?" Fugaku came up and asked as he saw his wife and eldest son giggling at his youngest.

"No one is. Let's go now." Sasuke said as he took his mother, and brother's hands and started to run to the main street. As he turned to run Fugaku caught sight of the boy's blush and turned back to the source and saw the pinkette that was praised by the village 2 years ago on her 1st birthday. He knew that the small village cherished her a lot and how it seemed like they'll do anything for her. He also took in how out of all the girls his son has come across and deemed "annoying" he is somewhat fond of this girl. Fugaku still looking at the little girl, starts to construct a rather devious plan, but he didn't get to think much about it because he heard his youngest son call out to him. "c'mon father. Mom wants us to wash off so we can go for dinner. Sasuke said with a cheery tone.

He then sees Sasuke glance at the pinkette once again, smile then run off to his mother and older brother. Fugaku smirks as he walks back to his family thinking of ways to make his new thought of idea come to life.

Kizashi is at work, and they can no longer afford daycare for Sakura, so Mebuki is at home taking care of Sakura and the house since all their friends and the original locals need the money too, so they have to work, no one else is able to watch little Sakura. Though Mebuki wishes she could work to help her small family she is glad that Sakura is not a troublesome child. She is grateful Sakura doesn't give her any problems or ask for much. All the pinkette needs is the outside to keep her entertained.

Speaking of which, Mebuki stops from folding the laundry and walks to the window to check on her little girl. She sees her little girl running through the flower field trying to catch a butterfly. She smiles gently but in her peripheral view she can see a dark shadow of a man watching her daughter. She drops the shirt she was recently attending to and runs outside and calls out for her daughter.

Mebuki looks around and sees the figure gone but quickly tells her daughter to get inside to have lunch so she won't scare the poor child that doesn't realize that she could have been taken. "What's wrong mommy? You look scared" Sakura says in her sweet small voice. Her mother looks at her and smiles "Nothing sweety, I-… I just want to have lunch with you". Sakura looks at her mother and smiles. "Ok mommy" Sakura says as she gives her mother a hug to calm her.

After lunch Mebuki takes Sakura to have her afternoon nap in which she sleeps until three. When her father gets home Sakura runs to give him a big hug and to ask about his day; the family of three have dinner together and after Sakura is off to bed. Once the two adults are in bed Mebuki starts to have a worried look on her face. "What's wrong?" Kizashi asks. "It's Sakura. When she was playing outside earlier, I think I saw someone watching her". Kizashi in a concerned voice asks "are you sure? Did you see who it was?" Mebuki shook her head no to his question. Kizashi signs "We'll figure it out ok. Maybe it was someone visiting the field and they saw her. If nothing happened, she's safe with us." Then the night took over and they went to sleep with their backs to each other.

(A.N Its almost done I promise. Idk why but I just think I should add as much detail for some reason so please forgive me.)

Another year later it's April 15th and Mebuki and Kizashi are inside their room arguing about taxes and money while their little girl plays outside. There has been money missing from the accounts and they both are pinning the blame on each other not paying attention to the men outside their house planning on taking their child away.

Man 1: "I have the girl in lock how about the parents?" Man 2: "Parents are successfully distracted." Man 1: "Good go back to the car and tell (idk a name) man 3 to start the car. I'm coming with the girl."

After the argument. Kizashi went downstairs to leave. He didn't believe his wife and he couldn't believe she would really put the blame on him; Yet he wasn't going to leave without telling his precious little girl goodbye. He went outside and didn't see the light pink hair bouncing around through the flowers. He's scolded his daughter before about wondering and when she's chasing her favorite insect of the week to always pay attention to where she is going.

He checked in the forest; he's checked the neighbor's yards, but he couldn't find his little pinkette. "MEBUKI!" Kizashi yelled when he entered back in his house. "I thought you left" Mebuki scowled to him. "Where is she? Is she here? Did she come in?" he said in a panic while looking through the rooms. "Who? Sakura? No, she's outside" Mebuki answered. "Do you think if she was outside, I would be asking where the hell she is."

"No, maybe you overlooked my baby isn't gone." She screamed with a wavering voice. She runs outside and checks all the places her husband did and more. She checked all Sakura's favorite places and all the places they like to go together. She couldn't find her little girl. When she got back home, she saw her husband on the couch with a drink in his hand. As soon as she looked at him, she started to bawl. Kizashi got up and hugged her quivering form.

"My baby is gone. Someone took my only baby from me" she said crying her eyes out. Kizashi rubbed her back and let some tears fall from his eyes. "we'll find her, ok I promise we'll find her". Little did they know that right now their little girl is begging to come back to them in an Attic that she would now call home.

A.N.: Hellooooo bumbkins this took me way too long to write and ik a lot of events happened in this and I'm sorry for that. I really wanted to put the backstory all in one chapter and it might not be the smartest idea, but I owe it to you since I kinda wrote one chapter and dipped, I'll explain that later. I started this the day after I posted the first chapter and from then on, I got two more reviews, so I want to say thank you to Duckling-irl for your advice and a special thanks to LexieDoodle for waiting patiently to my late post and I hope you enjoy long ass chapter lol. 💀

Now if you don't want to hear my sob story you don't have to read this part. I have had deaths in my family that has caused me some trouble and for me to miss school. As a 10th grader in a college prep school, even though I'm in AP and not IB… the work is still hard. Not only that but I'm about to lose another person soon within my family. I just wanna say now cherish life and spend time with the people you love because life is short and the people you would never expect to die may be gone the next day. Have a blessed day. ️
