Nurse Franklin came in today. She brought her tools by Katya's bed and continued to examine her injuries.

"Have you eaten anything yet?" The nurse asked the girl.

"No." The nurse only nodded.

"Your blood test showed that your immune system isn't used to a disease we have here, so I am going to vaccinate you."

"Okay." The girl said. It was quick and painless, compared to the many types of tortures she was trained to endure.

"I'm just going to wait here for a bit to make sure you don't have any reactions." She said as she felt the girl's pulse in her wrist, it was dropping at a slow, steady pace. Nurse Franklin had lied, it was not a medication, it was in fact an anesthetic. Katya felt fine, then she noticed the room started to become very dark, and it swirled, in an odd way.

"Nurse, I don't feel well. I think something is wrong."

"Shh… Relax, it's just one of the side effects." Katya was now leaning heavily on the nurse and was panting profusely, desperately trying to fight the shadows that closed around her. Finally, the darkness had taken over and Katya gave into unconsciousness. Her head fell onto the nurse's lap as she passed out.
