Director Fury,
Today Katya Smirnova had her very first meeting with Dr. Sugerman. She conducted a series of psychological tests, and concluded that the girl has post traumatic stress disorder, panic attacks, and a strange and twisted type of separation anxiety. She also viewed some of her memories, many of which showed particularly traumatic experiences, insight into important aspects of said Red Room program such as the sterilization progress, training methods, possible locations and people of importance, etc. She seemed very shaken when I took her back to the compound and didn't show up for dinner. Tomorrow I will see if she can identify the Red Room on a map, so that we can begin the process of removing the girls, arresting the trainers, and ultimately destroying the program. I am sending you images of some of the people from her memory session along with any information about them that Dr. Sugerman was able to learn.

Natasha rubbed her tired eyelids with her hands, before closing her laptop. She turned over the image of Madame B that was on her desk. She appeared just as Nat had remembered. Her pompous expression and cold eyes gave her goosebumps, and yet it came with a hint of nostalgia. That woman was the closest she ever came to having a mother, there was definitely no love in their relationship but still a great deal of time and energy. Madame B taught her how to shoot a gun, the proper way to stab someone, the art of disguise, assasination, and espionage. What was she thinking? Those memories were nothing but painful, and definitely distorted from the brainwashing.
"Jarvis , what time is it?"
"It is currently 12:52 am." Natasha groaned.
"Is there something I can do for you Miss Romanoff? Did you have a rough day? Do you need girl talk? Perhaps I could contact Miss Potts or Agent Hill? Or, I am always here, spill the tea, sista." Jarvis said in their monotone voice, the line was clearly programmed by Stark as a joke.
"Stark, you son of a bitch." Natasha muttered, not amused at all by Tony's little joke.
"I am sorry, this issue is clearly more serious than Mr. Stark previously predicted. Can I help in any way? Relaxing music? A cup of tea? Would you like me to alert medical staff or perhaps contact Mr. Barton?"
"No. Thank you."
"Okay, would you like me to initiate somnolence protocols?"
"Yes."
"Okay, goodnight Miss Romanoff." Jarvis said as the lights in her room dimmed. Natasha laid in bed completely still, but expectedly sleep never came. By four in the morning, she was surprised Jarvis didn't report any excessive movement coming from Katya's room.
"Jarvis, is there any movement from Katya's room?"
"No movement or sound has been detected in Miss Smirnova's room in over three hours."
"What about a heat signature?"
"A heat signature has been missing for the same amount of time." Silently, Natasha slipped into the hallway. She paused when she saw Katya's silhouette in one of the windows.
"Hey." Natasha said.
"Hey."
"Do you mind if I join you?"
"Knock yourself out." Natasha sat across from her on the other side of the windowsill.
"Couldn't sleep?" Natasha asked.
"No."
"Me neither. So what are you doing out here?"
"Sometimes I find that if I lean my head against a cold window for long enough I eventually pass out."
"Come on, that's definitely not healthy for you." Natasha said as she pulled the girl to her feet.
"Come on."
"Where are we going?"
"To work out our problems." They stepped into the elevator still in their pajamas down to the Avenger's personal gym.
"Miss Romanoff, Miss Smirnova does not have access to floor number 34."
"Creator override: Arachnid Azalea." Katya looked at her with a quizzical expression on her face.
"Inside joke." Nat shrugged. They entered the large gym. Nat flicked on the lights, illuminating a large padded space with every type of equipment, weapons, and obstacles a super spy would need. The first thing they went to was the large mat in the center of the room.
"Ready for a rematch." Natasha smiled slyly, Katya nodded. They launched at each other, Katya went for Natasha's legs and pinned her to the ground. Natasha used her knees and pushed her off. They engaged in a wrestling match filled with advanced moves and techniques that would take an adult years to master, let alone practically two teenagers. They continued to tumble around on the floor, their sneakers squeaking on the mat and echoing around the room. Katya somehow managed to climb onto Natasha's back, she carefully kicked the back of her knees, until she fell face first onto the mat. She quickly recovered, and swiped Katya's feet from beneath her, she then pinned her to the mat.
"Always be aware of your surroundings, never let your guard down." Katya gave up and laid on the mat while she caught her breath. Natasha held her hand out to her to help her up. Suddenly, Natasha was on the floor, with Katya on her chest, pinning her limbs down.
"Was that good?"
"Much, much better Katya." Then, they headed over to the targets.
"Show me what you learned, last time I saw you, I'm pretty sure you were holding the gun upside down."Natasha joked. Katya carefully picked up two guns, and turned off the safety. Without hesitation she fired. Within seconds, all 7 targets had an identical hole right in the middle.
"Is that all?" Katya was thrilled by the challenge and showed her "big sister" everything she had learned. She did backflips, threw grenades, shot at targets upside down, blindfolded, and backwards. She threw knives, spoke several different languages perfectly, disabled bombs, and even ambushed Natasha. By the end she was exhausted and could barely keep her eyes open, which was exactly what Natasha had hoped for. Both Katya and Natasha slept soundly for the rest of the night, which was good because tomorrow they would put their plan into motion.
