Chapter 4: A Tigress Shapes a Rose
It has been a week since Ruby's friends had seen a slight change towards their leader and friend attitude and it made them uneasy but as usual, they let it drop and ignored it. The only person that did not was surprisingly Blake since she heard her leader speak with the upper-classmen and hanging out with Coco.
Ruby on the other hand was practicing her combat in the training rooms as she booked it for 3 hours for herself and did not tell her team. She did not want to be around them but at the same time she wanted to spend time with them or more time with Sienna.
'Stop losing focus grrr' she growled at herself as she missed her step and slipped up the precision attack from crescent rose on the beowolf.
After nailing down her attack that she was practicing, she briefly wondered what her beautiful girlfriend was doing and if she had her own weapons. It also caused her to think about asking her girlfriend to help her train.
Covered in sweat in her training outfit and the sounds of metal piercing through air and hitting the targets and dummies. That is what you could hear outside the training room as sounds of a sniper being fired in rapid succession and the sounds of gears turning as it turned into a deadly scythe that would glide and cut through the air so flawlessly, the light reflecting off the sharp edges of the curved blade as it sunk through the diverse types of Grimm. The way she timed her moves and jumps to use it for her next attack as she flowed through the rhythm into a dance of death.
Glynda heard gunfire as she was heading back to her office after filling in for a sick professor in dust studies and heard the various sounds of metal clanking in the training room. When she opened the door to poke her head through to see who was making this ruckus, she could see it was her favourite student sweating as her muscles rippled through the movements and see her midriff and those abdominal muscles starting to show through.
"Wow..." Glynda mumbled quietly as she watched those delicate and smooth steps she was taking as she nimbly danced her way through the battle of two major taijitu's and a major ursa at the same time.
Crescent rose was cleaving through the paws of the ursa as she switched it into her sniper form to push herself away as the two taijitu's slammed down onto the ursa and then she used that momentum when she pushed herself backwards and quickly switched her holding on to her sniper, so it faced the wall and angled it at a 35 angle before shooting her upwards when she jumped as it sent her soaring into the sky making Glynda stare dumbly.
Ruby on the other hand watched as she saw the two taijitu's start to get up and waited for the perfect moment as she held crescent rose with two hands and holding it above her head before transforming into petals and pushed her semblance into the attack. Glynda was frantically looking for her student and then out of the corner of her eye she saw the glint of a curved blade reflected by the light appearing from the shadows and piercing through the four heads of the gigantic snake grimm as she landed safely as petals shimmed off her.
Sienna sighed for the umpteenth time as she was looking over her work and the script that she was handed to her by one of the directors and also looking into the speech she had written for one of those public talks in Vale.
'I wonder what my little rose is doing. Heh, probably spinning a cookie on her weapon' she giggled at the thought as she imagined Ruby spinning a cookie on her sharp and clean blade and then munching on her prized cookie.
She took one last look over the script for the upcoming talk and made readjustments to it. She didn't want to make it too long or boring but also wanted to bring up the key components to the public. At the end she gave up on editing her script and handed it to her secretary before heading into the gym facility in her place and put on gym clothes on.
"It's been a while since you picked up Cerberus up Sienna" her friend mentioned to her as she stood next to her with her own weapon in hand.
It was a simple but intricate sword that shined with a black and blue colors running down the length of the blade and had some subtle markings on the blade side. The sword would be able to split into two separate daggers as this would allow her to attack closely and dodge easily for her preference. There was a ribbon that was tied around the handle that would change colors between blue and black. She called her weapon Galene & Keres.
"I can't even remember when we last trained together, huh." Sienna looked at her weapon. It was a chain that had three rope darts linked at the end. She was highly skilled with her weapon and when she trained herself with martial arts it enabled her to dance on the battlefield so easily.
Sienna went to the machine to set up the fight for the two of them as they stood together in battle stance as they watched a pack of beowolfs appear in front of them and then two ursa's joining into the fray and then they nodded to each other.
The beowolfs didn't wait for them and instantly charged to them at full force as snarls escaped those hungry sharp teeth towards its target. What it didn't see was Jackie coming from it's left side as she converted her weapon into her two daggers and threw Galene into the thick hide of the beowolf as it roared in pain feeling it pierce its skin and ice dust slipping into the wound.
Sienna watched her friend take on the beowolf that was charging at them and then focused on her own two targets as she watched them split up and coming at her in two angles. She waited for them to near her and just before they were inches away from her, she jumped over the two grimm and smirking as she whipped cerberus around as she was turning and caught the necks of both grimm and violently pulled it back as the sound of skin could be heard tearing apart and the smoke of grimm appearing slowly. But before she could celebrate, she heard the sound of an ursa charging in at her and sidestepped out the way and pulled her weapon so it could wrap around the paw of the beast.
Meanwhile Jackie was happily dancing around the arena with her single dagger and saw the beowolf that had her other one stuck inside it's skin she turned to face it as it was turning and found her target before pulling back keres and aimed it at the other dagger and then released it with enough power sending some of her aura into her blade to trigger the fire dust as it soared through the air and slamming into the small connection of the other dagger as the fire dust shot into the grimm as it screamed in pain as the reaction of ice and fire taking it's toll.
The two girls were dancing in the battlefield flawlessly together as they silently communicated with each other as the sounds of roars and screams of the beasts and then the sounds of weapons being fire and metal connecting with it's target. It was spectacular to witness. Even if it had been a couple months since they last trained together in combat it showed that they still had it as they worked together to take down the last ursa down.
"That was much needed" Sienna panted as she rested her hands on her waist as she tried to regain her breath after a intensive training,
Jackie was the same as she was lying down on the floor on her back as she was panting and breathing heavily as her weapons laid around her.
"I agree, but we still got it" she spoke slowly as she was getting her breath back and looked at the ceiling.
"So, why did you do this? Out of curiosity. It's not out of the ordinary but you haven't touched your weapon since a couple months ago" Jackie turned to face her friend and she laid on her side.
"I…I guess it's because of my new girlfriend?" she mumbled the last part quietly as she hoped she did- nope she heard her.
"OOOoooH, and pray tell me, what does that have to do with her" she squinted her eyes at Sienna and watch her gulp some water.
There was silence between the two before the faunus walked up to the tigress and started to poke her cheek when she didn't respond to her.
"What. Does. It. Have. To. Do. With. Her." She punctuated every word as she glared at the woman and saw her blush, well she thought she saw a blush.
"BECAUSE SHE'S A HUNTRESS IN TRAINING!" Sienna squeaked loudly as she escaped her musing and was red like a tomato.
"A huntress? What does she use" She wanted to know more of this person that stole the heart of her best friend. Call it overprotective but she really cared about Sienna and wanted the best for her.
"She..uses a scythe..snipe" she mumbled as she looked down to the floor finding it interesting and heard a snicker coming from her friend and glared at her.
"YOU'RE A MEANIE" Sienna pouted and crossed her arms gracefully before picking up her weapon and stomping out to go shower as she heard the laughter of Jackie in the background getting louder.
"PPFFFFTT, HAHAHAH! THE TOUGH SIENNA ISS IN LOVE WITH THIS HUNTRESS! OH, OUM YOUR FACE!" She was crying at this point as her stomach was hurting from the reaction and couldn't help it.
Before Sienna was able to get into the shower her scroll started to ring, and she was making her way in but when she turned she slipped out the shower as she caught her phone and landed on her ass and groaned into the phone.
"Sienaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" whined Ruby on the line and caused the older woman to giggle and smile as she rubbed her sore behind.
"Yes, rose?" she spoke softly as she leaned against the glass panel of the shower, and she swore she could hear the cogs turning in her girlfriend's brain.
"Ca-n can I ask you something?" she spoke quietly and replied with a 'yes'.
"I was wondering since..you must be really good at martial arts or combat that..that." as the other girl gulped and stuttered over the line causing the mocha skinned woman to laugh every so softly.
"Take a deep breath rose." She heard the breath being released. "Now, try again" Sienna spoke calmy and could hear the girl relax and let a small smile appear on her face.
"I wanted to know if you could teach me? I'm finding it really hard to do close combat, ya know. I'm more of a long distance and supporter but when I do get close, I can do stuff but what happens if I lose my weapon…Im kinda sucky! I mean uhhh, I don't suck! WELL, I DO but I want to be good like you and be flexible and! AND" she had to intervene and stop her suffering, but she was laughing at the blabbering of the reaper and sighed softly into the scroll.
"Rose my dear, Take a deep breath." She heard the inhale and exhale and then a couple more before the girl responded 'I did' which caused her to giggle.
"I will help you train, and you can meet Jackie, she's my secretary and my friend but we know each other very well." Spoke Sienna calmy and could her the 'Whooooo' on the other side and smirked.
"BUT! This will be not easy. It's going to be physically demanding and emotionally as well. But we will make you stronger and help you out with close combat and hand to hand. Well Jackie will, I still suck" she pouted, and Ruby cooed at her making the woman blush and smack her head on the panel.
"Okay, I'm sweaty and need a shower, Ruby. So, I will call you or text you later!" she definitely needed a shower and smelled.
"Ookieee bye my mocha skinned babe" she heard the girl snickered but before she could respond the phone hung up as she shook her head and the antics and got into the shower.
The following day
Ruby woke up suddenly as she was breathing heavily as her covers were flung across her body and her corgi soft pillow was on top of her head. She wiped the sleep for her hands as she groaned and looked down and saw a wet patch on her pajamas and furiously turned red.
'Oh yeahhhh, I was thinking of my lovely girlfriend' she had drool coming down her lips as she let her mind drift to that night after the date. The thought of the mocha skinned woman hands roaming around her body and marking her own.
"Ruby?"
"…."
"rubbles" as her sister waved her hand over a glazed eyed little sister.
"RUBY, YOU DOLT!" shouted Weiss at her partner and watched the girl to react to her screeching and was stunned when her partner didn't move or react.
Blake groaned and got out of her blanket heaven and padded over towards their little leader and stepped onto Weiss's bed and looked up at the redhead. The others just watched behind from behind as Blake poked their leader's cheek.
"Ruby is everything…" she didn't finish her sentence off as she smelt something and looked down and saw some wet patches on the mattress and on her pajamas bottoms and instantly blushed.
"Huh, what did you say?" as Ruby came back to the world and looked at Blake questioningly as she tilted her head.
"UHhhhhh. What are you doing today?" she quickly recovered and stepped down and joined the others.
"Hmmm, not sure" she shrugged and got up her bed and, in a flash, she rushed into the bathroom with her stuff and locked the door before jumping into the shower.
The rest of the team just stared dumbly at each other and then shrugged and talked among themselves and didn't notice that Ruby had left them when they were so engrossed in their talking.
Ruby Rose was skipping down the hallways of the dorms humming happily as she was going to meet with her secret girlfriend and train with her. She was also thinking about changing her appearance and her combat outfit as she had loads of inspirations on her scroll. As she made her way through the various halls of beacon, she didn't quite see the headmaster coming up to her and slammed into him.
Ozpin was walking around the school in the early hours of the weekends and saw that his most promising student was in a happy mood and making her way. He chuckled at Ruby and sipped on his drink as his eyebrows rose to see that she wasn't paying attention to what was ahead of her and slammed into him. For his part he smirked and didn't even budge, meanwhile Ruby couldn't say the same and fell on her butt.
"ughhhhh" she groaned and looked up to see who she bumped into and absolutely paled and threw her arms up
"Pro-professor! I'm so sorry! I-I didn't watch where I was going" she stuttered aloud and was panicking, and the headmaster just shook his head and smiled.
"It's quite alright Ruby, you were obviously in a good mood and focusing on something else." He smiled causing the younger woman to sheepishly rub her neck.
"Heh, I was just heading towards the bullheads." She trailed off but already knew that the headmaster knew who her secret girlfriend.
This caused Ozpin to let out a cheeky grin and smiled at her softly and then thought about speaking but checked around him and then responded.
"Do send Ms. Khan my greetings when you go see her today." Which caused Ruby to be shocked and stammer a little bit but nodded slowly.
"O-of course but how do you know her?" she curiously asked the headmaster and her shook his head.
"We used to know each other and ran into each other sometimes. She's a very strong and confident person and soft but at the same time she was very strict and stubborn but that is for another time Ms. Rose. I hope you have a good day." As he continued his walk around the campus of the school.
The reaper continued to the bullhead before boarding onto it and taking her seat by the window and put her headphones to listen to some music while she waited to arrive at the town.
Sienna woke up and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and sat up in bed in her nightgown. She was excited for today but at the same time she was not quite the morning person and flopped back into bed as she hid in the blankets.
Staying snuggled in her blankets she relished the warm feeling of the covers and purred happily and closed her eyes and then the warmth was gone.
WHO DARE TAKE HER WARMTH, was the question going through her mind as she was ready to attack whoever took her warmth away and was about too and saw that it was her friend smirking at her.
"GOOOOOOD MORNINGGG BESTIEEEE!" she cheered out loudly causing the tiger faunus to groan and hide her face with her pillows as tried to keep something warm.
"JACKIEEEEE! IM GOING TO KILL YOU!" as she growled but it was muffled by the pillow and her ears were a mess as she tried to act angry.
"Nope, it's about time you get up your lazy slob!" she laughed and turned back to head out the bedroom and turned around to sneakily add "plus your girlfriend is coming here~" she sung as she quickly ran out the bedroom as a pillow fly past her face.
"I swear, I'm going to kill that woman" she grunted as she got out of her bed and scratched her head and purred a bit as she made her way to the marble floor of the bathroom.
She turned on the shower and got out of her nightgown and stretched a bit and cupped her tits and then moved into the shower relishing the feeling of the warm water hitting her skin and the way it made her feel relaxed.
'Finally, I can see my widdle reaper' she thought happily as she danced in her shower and humming.
Ruby made her way through the town of Vale towards the richer parts of the town and was listening to her pop music as she skipped down the path. Truthfully, she just wanted to meet with Sienna so she can work on her hand to hand but also spend time with her, she really missed holding her and being able to snuggle and scratch those soft and fluffy ears!
'I wonder if I should stop by dusk till dawn and pick some things up maybe? Or should I leave that for another day?' she mused as she was nearing her destination but was thinking of innovative ideas to add to her arsenal.
She reached her destination and looked up staring at the beautiful penthouse complex and just marveled at the view of it. She knew what it looked like but the last time she was here she had to rush after waking up incredibly sore but glowing like an angel.
"I never really appreciated the view she has. It's stunning, oh I'm so lucky heh." She laughed as she entered the complex as someone else was leaving and went to the elevator and pressed the button to go to the floor.
BACK WITH THE REST OF TEAM RWBY
The rest of the girls were all doing their own activities as they didn't notice Ruby had left and thought she was on campus. Yang had gone to the gym to do a workout and sparring with Pyrrha, Weiss went off with Neptune to go out on a date in Vale and Blake was sitting next to a tree and reading her book as the sun shined down on them.
Blake was reading a new book that she picked up from the library and was engrossed in the story as it got exciting, however she figured something was up with her friend. Ruby was a very much so a 'go-out' person with her team and wanting to do something with her team.
Despite being a quiet person and observant, she was exceptionally good at reading people's body language and able to detect the slightest changes in a person's reactions and movements. When she saw that Ruby had started to disappear before they could talk and not appear until later on the day was starting to worry her.
'Buttt, I have a book to focus on. Hmm, ill do it later' as she went back to the book and leaned against the tree.
Weiss had been worried about her partner, but she often kept her emotions in check but ever since she met her teammates, she's learned how to be open and express herself freely. She felt awful for leaving her partner behind when she went out with Neptune but surely that dolt couldn't understand what she was feeling. How wrong she was.
Yang the older sister of Ruby Rose was having a hand-to-hand combat practice with Pyrrha Nikos the mistral champion. It was tough competition, but it was quite fair fight as they clashed into each other.
The sounds of grunting and punches making contact, the sounds of footwork on the floor can be heard and the thrill of fighting overcoming the two girls. Sure she had a little sister to hang out with but she figured that Ruby needed to make more friends and she can do big sister things without being disturbed.
Earlier on she had deducted to figure out what was going on with her sister on her own or maybe the help of her tea-
A punch came flying at her making a solid connection to her jaw sending her down to the ground as she grunted. Those sharp emerald eyes prodding her to make a move and she fell for the trap. The minute yang stepped into range for Pyrrha's grapple she was flipped over and landed on her back with a 'oof'. She felt all her air exiting her body as she forcefully laid out on the floor and lost to the Mistral champion.
"Holy shit, which was insane" she breathed out after trying to catch her breath and saw Pyrrha smiling sheepishly at the feat she performed.
"I didn't hurt you right?" she asked quietly as she sat down next to the blonde girl and saw her smile and laugh before both were laughing out loudly.
With Ruby
Ruby walked up to the two large gray doors to the penthouse and ringed the ball as she bounced on her feet waiting to see her girlfriend. She made sure she looked good and hummed happily as she heard sounds coming closer to the door and the sound of a voice.
"Coming!" as the voice behind the door said and heard something crashing down and a groan before the door opened revealing a beautiful rabbit faunus with purple eyes looking at her with interest.
"H-hi?" Ruby squeaked out uncomfortably at the other person staring at her.
"Who are you meant to be?" Jackie asked politely but before she could go any further, she was interrupted.
"I'm Sienna's girlfriend!" she said proudly and puffed out her chest as Sienna walked towards the commotion and smiling at her girlfriend's voice. Jackie on the other hand was slacked-jawed as she stared at this young girl. This was Sienna's girlfriend!
"Rubbyyy~" oh, that sweet voice she missed hearing as she ran towards the older woman and glomping her as she buried her face in her bust and the older woman laughed and ruffled her hair.
"I missed you mocha" she mumbled in the tiger faunus breast causing Jackie to snort at the nickname and double over.
"Mocha? Dear did you just call me a drink?" she smirked at her girlfriend as she watched her nod her head.
"Yeah. Because your skin reminds me of a mocha and you're so yummy and mocha's taste good and" she was silenced as a finger was held on her lips to stop her from making her blush like a madwoman.
Jackie was still laughing at the nickname before she received a glare from her friend, but it didn't work as she closed the door and walked into the lounge and towards the gym room.
"So! ARE WE GOING TO FIGHT" Ruby cheered as she zoomed past everyone as petals remained in her place causing both woman's to be shocked at the sheer speed as the followed the excited kid.
"We will get to that but first we need to stretch and then go through basics before we move any further" Sienna explained as the walked into the gym as she caught one of the petals and watched it slowly turn into stripes as she looked at it owlishly.
"Butttt, I thought I could just jump in and do all the cool tricks!" she whined out and flopped onto the floor dramatically causing the two people to laugh.
"Soon, my dear. Now Jackie will teach you with the basic moves before she moves on the dirtier tricks and advance moves, and we will do these repeatedly until you get it into your cookie filled brain." This caused the redhead to pout at her as she rolled her eyes and walked over pressing a soft kiss on her lips.
"fineeee, I guess I can" she walked over to the rabbit faunus and smiled as the other just nodded happily.
"Don't worry, we'll take it easy and then in no time you'll be able to beat this poor tiger" She smirked as the faunus let out a growl of frustration and a giggle from the younger woman.
For over 2 hours Ruby and Jackie were practicing grappling styles, hand to hand combat, punches and other martial arts techniques so she could cover all types of ranges if needed. It was hard and enduring especially since they worked her like hell and pushed her to the limits but soon enough, she started to pick up the rhythm.
Sienna would join in sometimes and gave some pointers to her girlfriend and then spar with her lightly. They could hear the frustration in the girl's voice and the way she was breathing but not once did she give up in those 2 hours.
When the two felt comfortable they added some atlas robots to the mix and watched her put it into combat. She started of sloppily, but some started to pick it up and move around her opponent easily. They even taught her how to integrate her semblance with kick moves and punches but the one thing that Sienna taught her was adding her aura into those kicks and punches to make it more powerful.
"Uhhhhhhhhh…my leggies hurt" she grumbled as she laid on the floor in a heap of a mess as sweat dripped down her body and her breath short.
"We can have a break and you can show us your weapon, how does that sound?" the girl nodded happily as she laid there still and Jackie went off to the kitchen to make them some food to help them out.
Ruby swore she could feel her abdominal muscles pushing out or felt like her stomach muscles were on fire, more or less she felt like a vegetable at this point. She was helped up by the tigress and smiled as they walked into the kitchen leaning onto each other.
"It smells so good in here." She moaned at the smell of the salmon cooking and the sweet flavors of spices and herbs floating in the air.
"Indeed, it does, after all you need a healthy meal after an intensive training and the second part will be more softer training." She smiled encouragingly at the girl before taking a seat and seeing the plate of food in front of them.
Ruby was drooling at the sight of the pan-fried salmon that was drizzled with oil and had spices on it with some parsley on top, beside it was a spoonful of rice and a small salad next to it. She waited for the other person to clean down and sit down at the table.
"WOW, THIS IS DELICIOUS!" she spoke up as she let out a small moan at the delicious flavors pouring into her mouth. The fresh taste of the salmon, the touch of spices to make it taste spectacular and then the freshness of the parsley and lemon. It was breathtaking, she looked over to see the rabbit faunus smirking and Sienna digging in.
"Thank you, you're so kind" Jackie replied as they delve into silence and enjoying the meal in the silence.
As they ate and conversed on the table and talking about embarrassing stories about Sienna when she was in her teenager years and trying to do pranks but failing at them. Ruby smiled and held the hand of the tigress as they happily talked on how their blind date went.
"Honestly, I want to thank you Jackie for pushing me to go there" Sienna spoke up as Ruby went to the bathroom and hugged her friend.
"I'm really glad you did; you found an amazing person to be with. Not only she is adorable but also sexy I must say! But she is also strong, a leader like you but she has the innocence shining in front of her. Except at the same time, she isn't" she mused at the end causing the other to raise an eyebrow.
This caused the tiger faunus to gape at her and looked at her incredulously.
"What do you mean?" Sienna asked her friend hoping that it wasn't what she thinks her friend is going to say.
"I saw you naked in your bed with her and it stunk of hot sex" laughing aloud as the other just wanted to crawl up into a ball and cry from embarrassment but as a grown up like herself she instead sulked.
"I don't believe you at all" she pointed at Jackie before being shown pictures that she took of the two in her bed asleep naked with the mess in view and blushed.
"HONEEYYYYYYY~" the reaper called out as they could hear the pitta patter of the feet of the girl coming to them as she bounced in her step and smiling gleefully.
"Yes?" she stifled her laugh as she looked at the cute bundle of joy.
"What next for today!" causing the two older women to smile fondly and walked back towards the gym.
"Right now, I am going to teach you my weapon and then after that we will do some meditation to end the session today. After that we can go to the jacuzzi and relax and cuddle" she held the reaper's hand as they entered the facility.
Sienna took her weapon out and was about to explain it but watched it disappear from her grip within an instance and went to look for it as she saw petals floating down slowly and followed it with her gaze and smiled.
Ruby was marveling the weapon with interest and was running her finger over the sleek design. She was gasping and aweing at the craft of this whip. It was an uncomplicated design with three rope darts attached to it. She didn't notice the two occupants in the room watching her skeptically and was whispering to it.
"OOOooooh, she's neglected you! You poor beauty! Don't worry, I will take care of you when she won't do it" causing the woman to give an indignant 'hey' and crossed her arms.
Jackie smiled softly as she figured this person loved weapons as she intuitively knew what it was without having Sienna to explain it. Sienna just looked baffled at this and was looking at Jackie as if asking what was going on and she just shrugged and laughed quietly.
"Before, I was rudely interrupted" causing Ruby to blush and give back the weapon "This is Cerberus, as you can see it's a whip and it does have three blades or as you said (rope darts) attached to it. They use fire, electric and ice dust in those blades and when I don't use it I either have it on my wrist or keep it here." She sighed softly as she wrapped it around her wrist.
"it's so beautiful! I love it. Simple but seems like it suits your style especially since you like to dance around when you fight and can use it to your advantage in many ways" Ruby was taking in account the blade and the structure of it before an idea popping into her head causing her to smirk.
"Well, we will learn how to use it, in case there's a time when I can't get to it." She spoke calmy as she caught in the corner of her eye where Jackie was watching the two talks.
"Now, Ruby how about you show your baby to my friend?" she really hoped Ruby brought it with her to catch her reaction.
Without having to be asked twice about presenting crescent rose or even getting cookies, she pretty much had the same reaction. She picked up the weapon off her waist on pressed a button before effortlessly spinning the weapon during transformation as it towered over 7ft above her and the curved blade shining against the light showing that it was in immaculate form. She proudly stood there with her baby next to her and smiling happy as there was a 'click' sound from Sienna's scroll as she took a picture of it.
"that's..A SCYTHE?! YOU WIELD A SCYTHE" the rabbit faunus blurted aloud as she stared at the weapon with fear and awe.

As they talked about the weapon and how she decided to come up with it and talked about her uncle Qrow inspired her to learn this weapon since a kid and would train everyday in order to be accustomed to it.
Sienna started off by listing what to do and how to use her weapon to your advantage, how to wield it like a pro and what else you can use for it. The young girl was listening carefully as she started off with easy tasks and drills before moving up.
They did this for 2 hours and by that mark she was already getting with the flow of the weapon as she also used her semblance to aid her to appear and strike before disappearing her targets. She also learned how to violently pull it back when it was lodged into the dummies and use that momentum to spin herself around and make another attack.
Sienna found it extremely hot when she watched her partner wield her weapon with care and like an expert. In fact, her pheromones started to tingle her nose as she had to grab a tissue to stick up her nose to stop her nosebleed. Ignoring the laughing sound from her friend she watched on.
'Holy moly, that was incredibly sexy to watch' she thought to herself as those movements seemed like she was floating above the ground and just dancing around with grace.
"Did I do good?" she asked meekly as the tapped her index fingers together and giving them the ruthless puppy eyes making both girls to coo at her and nod meanwhile Sienna's nosebleed got worse, and she felt like she was about to pass out.
"You did great kiddo" Jackie spoke up as she slapped Sienna's back much to her amusement causing her to stumble a bit and Ruby beamed a smile at the feedback.
To say this was hard and tiring was a lie, this whole schedule they had conducted and made together was ruthless. Ruby had taken it upon herself to talk to the principal about the training causing him and Glynda to smile fondly at the enthusiastic redhaired girl. Sienna helped Ruby how to become a better leader and how to seem professional while Jackie would teach her to be silly and do pranks. Jackie also helped her with her courses and gave her tips and even evaluate her sometimes to make sure she was on top of everything, especially their grueling regiment.
But Ruby never backed down from this challenge as she wanted to improve herself in combat and as well in her academics and being a better leader. She would sometimes spend some time with her team but would also disappear whenever she felt fit to work and train. Some days she was so sore that she despised waking up, but it got to the point she was used to it and would shower and take baths will lavender bath salts to relax her growing and defined muscles to avoid injuries.
Sienna was enjoying the presence of her girlfriend after coming home from a long day of work and having to set up various speeches and to come home to hear laughter and sounds of weapons clashing in the gym made her smile. She would quietly tip toe her way into the gym as she heard the two focusing on their fight and watch silently. Some days she even allowed Ruby to wield her weapon to fight Jackie. It was interesting nonetheless as she watched her movements grow overtime and even Glynda started to take notice on Ruby's performance and asking her to send videos of the training to the two adults.
Her team didn't really question her disappearance over the weeks and always saw her come back sometime in the afternoon and evening as they were too busy doing their own things. The reaper just continued with her day and would also go to the gym in beacon and train the body weight exercises given by the two faunuses and would meditate in the garden in beacon. Sometimes Velvet, Yatsu and Glynda would join her in meditation and Ren helped her as well to learn diverse ways to meditate.
This had been going for over 3 months with the grueling exercises and routine that some other beacon students started to see the changes in Ruby's character, she always kept that innocent and childish vibe but at the same time she showed more moments of a true leader and leading by example, she wouldn't complain if she got a bad mark in test and would work on the areas she lacked. Overall, it had made Ruby into a new person and loved at the same time as her friends and girlfriend would always congratulate her and support her with her progress.
By the end of those three months Ruby had been thinking of something new to add to herself, in fact Sienna had told Ruby she had a week off to relax and recover especially being so determined throughout and finally convincing her even if it was with cookies to take a break.
She was making her way towards the forge in beacon, and she absolutely adored this place it was almost like her second home for her. She was able to be in her own space and let her ideas flow through, she even brought her sketchpad from all the intricate ideas for weapons. The first thing she did when she arrived was go towards the back where she felt comfortable and brought out her beloved weapon and put it on one of the workbenches as she pulled out the various boxes that were neatly stacked in the spot with different weapon components she had ordered with Sienna and her own time.
'hmmph, I had a great idea about a weapon design. I think it will work especially since I've been training with her a lot and using her weapon. Maybe I should take this idea and bring it into life' As she looked at the blueprints of the weapon she had drew after it inspired her throughout the training and using Sienna's weapon.
But before she did that she went online and ordered a new combat clothing as she was seriously getting bored of the old outfit and wanting something more mature or made her look like an absolute badass. Although the color coordination would still use black and red, but she wanted to see if she could have blacker. She had asked Sienna and Jackie for some ideas, and they gave her two ideas and she thought about it.
She ordered both outfit ideas and would put it together when it would arrive and smiled happily as she was excited to make this new reality to come to life. She had also been working on a new cloak where it would enable her to disappear but that would take awhile for her and especially since ordering it from atlas region.
Finally getting those first things done she noticed her scroll vibrating and responded to it by putting it onto speaker.
"Rooseee?" the soft voice of her partner speaking up caused her to smile
"Mhmmm?" hearing the woman pout through the call caused her to let out a giggle
"Can you put on your video, pwetty please Ruby-chan~" this caused the girl to spit out her water and blush as she fumbled her scroll to turn the video on.
"SIENNA, THAT'S CRUEL" she pouted and crossed her arms before focusing on unboxing the packages.
"All is fair in love and war ruby=chan~" as she blew a kiss to the girl as the other caught it and blew one back to her"
"So, what's up mocha" she smirked at the nickname hearing a huff and smiled innocently into the camera.
"I just wanted to check on how you were doing and my curiosity coming more forefront about what you are doing." She spoke softly as she watched the reaper working on a project as she watched cardboard boxes being thrown over her and disappearing.
"WHAT SHE MEANS IS THAT SHE'S BORED OUT OF HER MIND" yelled an energetic Jackie causing Ruby to shake her head.
"Well, I've been working on a couple ideas that I want to get done today which would probably take all day and maybe tomorrow if needed. It's a surprise before you ask so don't even try!" she scolded the woman as she pointed an accusing finger to her.
Said woman gasped in mock hurt at her girlfriend comment. "Oh Ruby, you are a mean one" she placed her hand on her chest pretending to look hurt but laughed and nodded.
"Well is it a weapon or is it something else?" she prodded a little bit as she watched the cute tongue poking out of her mouth as the cogs turned in her little head.
"Yeah, I've been working on this weapon that I want to do. It has a special meaning to me, but you'll see soon! Other than that, I think im going to change my baby over time and will add a new form. I also ordered two new combat clothes styles! HOORAYYY" exclaimed the young one causing the woman to laugh.
"Alright my rose, I will call you later tonight! Please take care of yourself and try not to pass out in the forge. I would hate to send Ozpin or even Glynda to extract you" she grinned at the girl pouting and turning away.
"Rubbyyyyy" she watched the girl not responded and thought of something evil as she set her scroll on the table and kneeled and put on her begging eyes and put on a voice from one of the anime's they watched together.
"Ruby-chan~ please look at me. I want to see your smile" Ruby instantly froze instantly recognizing the voice and tried to not turn around but to her avail that was her weakness and she looked and saw her tigress with those big anime eyes and her ears twitch ever so slightly and blushed.
"H-hi" she squeaked out as she took a screenshot and saw the other smiling softly.
"I love youuuu ruby-chan~" this caused her brain to overload and just shutdown, it was all too much of the cuteness. She shook out of her stupor and blushed as she saw the cute face of the tiger faunus and smiled. Right now, she felt so loved and felt like nothing could knock her down and was on the moon after hearing those words.
'so this is what love feels like hehe' she thought to herself and looked at the screen.
"I love you too Sienna" this caused the faunus to stutter and blush as she just gave a nod and a kiss as they said goodbye.
Ruby sighed softly as she sat on the stool and had a silly smile on her face at those words being said to her.
"She loves me. Oh, my oum! SHE LOVESSSS MEEEEE!" She squealed aloud making her giggle and wiggle in her seat in joy.
After a bit she regained her attention back to her original task she smiled as she picked up the different components of the weapon and laid them on the table and put her mask and apron on.
She started to make the two curved reaper scythes blades as she focused on modeling the weapon and making sure that it was slick and aerodynamic. She had used vibroblade into the two smaller scythes (sickles) as she took her time to hammer and wield it in perfectly and making sure there was no errors in the design. She wanted it to be perfect, but the fact was that vibroblade is very expensive and at this time was very rare to get. She had convinced the help of Ozpin and Uncle Qrow but also Sienna helped to acquire some even if it was a small quantity.
She could feel the heat of the room surrounding her as it made her feel at ease as she continues to shape it until she considered it perfect and saw how beautiful the curve of the blade was and how sharp it gleamed against the lights. After allowing the weapon to cool down, she started to etch some details on the blunt side of the blade as she designed a tiger surrounded by petals. She smiled softly as grease and carvings of the blade were all over the table as she inhaled the smell of working of a new weapon.
She then took the left sickle and on the bottom of the onyx handle she started to etch in 'Rozu' and added her aura gently into the etching of the left sickle as it glowed red. She then repeated that onto the right sickle as she etched in 'shima moyo' on it and didn't add her aura until she asked Sienna to do it. Feeling a little bit extra she added their symbols on the respective side and smile widely as sweat poured don her forehead.
'this is so beautiful..wow. this is called striped rose' she hummed happily as she etched in an ancient language she read from a book in Sienna's library of books and the help of Glynda.
After adding all the designing aspects to the weapon and going over making sure it was all done. She picked it up and held it. It felt a little heavier than expected but still lightweight for her. She did some moves with it test it out and was excited by the looks of it. She then found the chain she wanted to use, it was quite a lengthy chain, but it also was sturdy and strong as hell. She attached it too the buts of the sickles.
Ruby couldn't be even happier than she felt right now in fact she felt ecstatic about her new weapons but still had one more key component to do but let the weapon hang on the hooks carefully to relax before she did anything else to it.
She went to working on crescent rose and started to fix the underlying issue with it was it was heavy, and she had ordered magnesium alloy which was the strongest but also lighter as well this would make her attacks even more deadly with her speed. As she started to take it apart and add fresh components to the ones that were falling out and looked on their last foot. She also added a new configuration on her weapon by making it into a war scythe that had serrated blades and that could be changed. She had also added a new dust component when in scythe mode so that the blade can fire out any dust but that was complicated as she tried to make it work and that took a while.
Taking breaks and drinking water and having her stashes of cookies in the forge she looked over her weapon and smiled softly as she polished every single corner and bits of her weapon.
She then picked up the finished product of 'Striped rose' and smiled at the weapon. She turned it around so the light can shine at the beautiful crafter work she had done and was truly marvelling at the sight of it. The one problem she had was making sure it was hidden but that was where her new cloak would come in handy. She had come up with two ways to keep it hidden. First in her new cloak she had made a special compartment to keep it hidden and safe without anyone knowing it was there and the chains would be fitted snuggly against the weapon. The second was blend it with one of her attires and she had the perfect plan for that.
After a hard work of 17 hours in the forge she smiled at the finished a cleaned product of the new weapon and the upgraded version of crescent rose. She called Sienna and told her she was going to come over and stay the week with her and left with a hurry after cleaning her place up and adding her new additions to her backpack and leaving.
One more look at Striped she smirked as it looked completely hidden on her attire with her dark the colours are and wrapped the chains around her waist to make it look like a belt.
Ozpin and Glynda watched from the cameras as they hadn't heard from Ruby for majority day but saw the incredible weapons and devices she had created.
Striped Rose had been born and built by its creator and it was there to protect the two.

Wow that took some time! I must say this part took me a couple days to nail down the idea and what I wanted to do. I like this chapter a lot and I really am trying to improve the dialogue, but I will get better I promise! To be honest I am really enjoying this story a lot and appreciate all the new follows and favs + reviews on this! Now time to explain some things here!
Vibroblade does exist but it is extremely rare to get but only some people have access to it such as Ozpin because he's literally the oldest person, Sienna Khan as she had some in her possession when she raided the white fang before leaving and didn't know what to do with it and Qrow Branwen as he's a sneaky drunk character but knows a lot of contacts.
Ruby knows how to send her aura into inanimate objects such as weapon as Jackie had taught about using her aura to power her punches or add to when she fires crescent rose. Ruby is also smart and an incredible forger and engineer as well, but she is still being supervised by Ozpin and Glynda
