That same evening, Mei Hatsume was just about finished packing her things and was on her way to the Development Studio to make sure everything was sorted out before leaving. She hummed to herself as she walked along, her mind filled with the prospects of all the support items she could possibly create that year. That train. of thought, however, was interrupted when she noticed the door to the studio was cracked open a tad bit, only noticeable to her keen eyes.

Curious, Mei crept closer to the door and began to hear the sounds of someone tinkering with machinery inside.

Mr. Power Loader? she thought to herself. However, when she risked a peek through the door, she saw not the Pro Hero, but a teenage girl wearing a green jumpsuit under some kind of dark grey harness/armor. She also wore goggles that glowed a bright green and seemed to be staring at a support device on her wrist as she worked on it. At first, Mei thought she was another student, but then noticed the window had been opened, and rather forcefully at that. Mei gasped; this girl wasn't a student, she was an intruder!

Mei decided to rush in. "HEY!"

The girl gasped in shock as she turned to face Mei.

"You can't just break in he-!" Mei began. However, she was swiftly knocked aside by something, she couldn't make out what as she was too stunned, but she swore it came from behind the girl's back. Regaining her senses, Mei stood back up to see the girl was gone. The only evidence she was even there was the small pile of tools and spare parts on the workbench. Mei was too shaken up to say much, but she realized the Pro-Heroes needed to be on alert. Managing to close the window, she then ran out of the lab in search of a Pro.

Outside, the girl crouched in the bushes, hidden. Making sure the coast was clear, she ran out into the streets before taking a look at the device on her arm: a metal gauntlet that glowed with energy from the tech within. It wasn't a tuned up as she would have hoped, the weird, pink haired girl had interrupted hr before she could put the finishing touches on, but it would have to do for now. It would be more than sufficient for her to handle the threat only she knew was coming...

...

The next day began Chris's first true day at UA. As expected, the students were mingling in the halls, taking their valuable time before getting to their classroom. Chris and Midoriya were no different, though Midoriya seemed to be in a bit of a hurry.

"Iida has a habit of making sure everyone gets there on time" he told Chris, "He's the class representative, and if I'm being honest, he takes his job a little too seriously."

Chris chuckled, but then his expression dropped suddenly as he began feeling light headed. He leaned on the nearby wall to steady himself. Midoriya noticed this and looked worried.

"You ok?" he asked.

Chris nodded as the dizziness went away almost as quickly as it started. Weird.

Even weirder was he found the rest of Class 1-A waiting in the courtyard, along with a great number of other students. Various Pro-Heroes were also present, and they seemed to be investigating something inside. Ururaka noticed Chris and Midoriya approach and waved them over.

"You guys ok?" she asked.

"Yeah, we're fine" Midoriya replied, "But what happened here?"

"My thoughts exactly" Chris added.

Bakugo chuckled. "You're not gonna believe this, but it looks like someone broke into the school last night."

Chris and Midoriya gasped in shock.

"What?" Chris said, "Who?"

"No idea. Whoever it was though, thrust me, they're gonna pay."

"One of the Support Group students saw it happen" Kaminari added, "but the second she walked in, the intruder knocked her down and escaped. Pretty crazy if you ask me."

"What were they thinking?" Yaoyorozu demanded, "Breaking into a place like this? what could they possibly need?"

"Ribbit. It must have been important enough to risk getting caught." Tsu replied, "I'm just curious as to if it was a hero or villain."

"Well, whatever the case" Kirishima said, "Mr. Aizawa's keeping us out here with the other students; says we can use this time to study while the Pros check things out. So, here we are."

"We need not worry about it now" Iida pointed out, "The Pros are taking care of this. We should get back to studying like Mr. Aizawa wants us too."

Suddenly, an explosion could be heard in the distance, just as the Pro-Heroes Mirko, and Kamui Woods, ran out of the building.

Before anyone could stop him, Chris asked them as they passed, "What is it?"

"There's a Nomu in the city" Mirko hurriedly explained, "Just stay here; we'll handle it."

This only seemed to get the class in a panic, and they nervously whispered to each other.

"Just calm down everyone!" Iida said, chopping the air with his hand, "they said they would handle it!"

"Look!" Mina shouted, waving her phone. She had opened it up to the news app and, sure enough, the main feed showed a hideous creature, tearing through the town. Chris had never seen anything like it; it was humanoid, but with black skin, scrawny frame, clawed hands, and was just overall unnatural to look at.

"What the hell IS that?" he gasped.

"A Nomu" Midoriya replied, "We fought one a while before you got here. They're some kind of monster, though we're not sure what exactly it is."

"Shh!" Mina hissed, "I can't hear it!"

The class watched as the attack unfolded. The Nomu tore through traffic, but it didn't seem interested in any of the fleeing people, which the class found rather unusual.

Yaoyorozu stroked her chin in interest as she observed the feed. "I don't think it's just mindlessly attacking."

Iida nodded in agreement. "It's looking for something."

"Looking for what, though?" Chris asked.

Just then, the Nomu stopped in its tracks and looked around for a few moments before a car slammed into the back of its head, sending it sprawling to the ground. The smoke behind it obscured the attacker, but then a silver, metal tentacle appeared, landing on the ground.

Ururaka gasped. "What...is that?"

In another part of the courtyard, Mei watched the same footage on her phone, gasping in shock when the figure emerged from the smoke. "It's her...!"

...

Meanwhile, at the Nomu's location in the city, the Pro-Heroes had finally arrived to the scene i time to see the Nomu get slammed into a wall.

"What in the...?" Mt. Lady began, but then they noticed the girl in green with grey armor standing nearby, she held a silver container in her hand.

Mirko was the first to address her. "Who are you?"

The girl turned to face the Pros, but before she could answer, the Nomu burst from the rubble, clearly angered, only to stop and narrow its eyes as it spotted the container.

"Call me Liz." the girl quickly said, "I'll handle this."

Before the Pros could ask her how, they looked in shock to see four mechanical tentacles suddenly sprout from her back, lifting her off the ground. She then held up the container towards the Nomu.

"You want this?" she taunted, "Come and get it!"

With that, she turned and began using the tentacles to scale the building. Angered, the Nomu began climbing after her. However, a shadow appeared above it as Mirko jumped up towards it, bringing her foot down on its face and sending it careening back into the ground.

"Sorry" Mirko shot back to Liz, "but we're here to help, so that's what we're gonna do."

Liz had stopped in her tracks when Mirko shouted to her. Seeing there was no changing the rabbit hero's mind, she quickly looked around as her mind came up with a new plan.

"Ok." she replied, "But I need you to keep that thing still!"

"I got this!" Kamui Woods said, immediately springing into action and using his quirk to create long, wooden vines that wrapped around the Nomu. Mirko also jumped onto the creature's shoulders, using both her arms and legs to keep its head from thrashing.

Kamui strained against the creature. "If you're going to do something, kid, do it now!"

As if on cue, Liz dropped down in front of the Nomu, her tentacles catching her fall, and raised her fist. Her gauntlet began to glow with a blue light as the weapon on her wrist charged. After a few moments, she drove her fist right onto the creature's exposed brain. Mirko and Kamui let go just in time as a surge of electricity flared around the creature. Liz pulled back after several seconds, and the Nomu fell to the ground, dead.

Once the smoke cleared, Liz stood there, a grin on her face as the saw the Nomu's smoking corpse.

"That was impressive" Mirko said, walking up, "You got skill, Liz. I think I might like you."

Liz smiled at the comment before Kamui walked up as well, and his expression was less pleasing.

"I've seen these tentacles before" he said, "In a villain profile."

"You're thinking of my father" Liz said, "And no, before you say anything, I'm not a villain."

"Clearly not" Mirko added, "Though Kamui is right. Does this mean you're...?"

The girl nodded before answering, "Yes. My full name is Elizabeth Octavius. My father is Doctor Octopus."

The two Pros, as well as those watching the news footage, were left practically speechless. The last thing those watching saw before the feed cut out was the Pros suddenly leading Liz back to the UA. What for? They could only guess...

Let me know what you think so far!
