Here's another chapter. I'm making chapters faster than I usually am. But I cannot finish by Christmas. I hope they finish by the end of winter even before then.
At night and Hiccups house, he looks through his father's Maps and Books define close to the Hidden World. then he hears creaking on the rooftop, and the Florawood creaking as well. Hiding in the shadows pouring a pint of mead is Grimmel. Grimmel says to the young chief Hiccup: "Oh, I hope you don't mind. I helped myself. This is, quite good." Hiccup lights his flame sword, glowing at the room to reveal Grimmel's face. "That is impressive. But let me finish my drink." He walks by Hiccup holding his sword pointing it at the intruder. Who now pause out his crossbow fires at Toothless who is sleeping, but Grimmel tranquilized him. Hiccup exclaims: "Toothless!" he rushes to his Dragon, the dragon trapper finishes his drink and toss the pie to the ground. "What did you do to him?" Grimmel answers: "Nothing he want to sleep off." he reloads a crossbow and sit down in Stoick's chair.
The dragon trapper continues to speak: "May I?" The young chief feels insulted seeing a total stranger in his fathers chair without permission. "Chief Hiccup. Or do you prefer chef (hiccup) or do you prefer Hiccup? What do you prefer?" Hiccup doesn't reply just simply angrily glares at the rude man. "You have no idea who I am?" Hiccup doesn't reply just simply still angrily glares at Grimmel. "Oh (Chuckles) well, your father knew about me. Now there was a chief. One of the greatest dragon hunters who ever lived. What would you think a few?" He still chuckles Hiccup who's feeling self doubt. "So let's get to the point. I am the Night Fury killer. I've had it every last one but yours. You're going to give me that dragon or I will…" Hiccup interrupts: "I will never give him up."
Grimmel laughs as he stands up, and says: "You wish dragon still have free among us as equals? A toxic notion, my boy. History has shown us that we are the superior species. What if word of your miss guided ideas were to spread? it would be the undoing of civilization as we know it." He looks down and noticed something wrong, he kicks the tail fan and it feels it's not Toothless, but Fishlegs is playing as the dragon. Fishlegs ask feeling drugged: "Did we get him?" he passes out onto the ground. While Grimmel was distracted Hiccup takes the crossbow and orders: "Now!" Coming out of their hiding spots are Astrid and Valka in armor, Tigatron, Cheetor, Rattrap, Airazor, Blackarachina and Silverbolt all in robot mode and finally Gobber jumps out says: "Sorry to barge in!" Grimmel says to Hiccup: "An ambush? Clever, and you included your… Pets. Two cats, a bird, a rat, a spider and whatever is you are." Each hissed and growled at the trapper for calling them pets.
Tigertron says in anger as he and the others overheard: "You drove a species to extinction, with a smile on your face?! You're no hunter, you're a butcher." Rattrap adds in confusion: "Butcher? I would thought exterminator to be precise." Airazor asks: "How do you take pride in it? Dragons are amazing creatures, like every other animal on this world. They just fight for their share of the world." Hiccup finishes: "They are right. You can't take pride in the extermination of an entire species. And you think you can just come into my home, sit in my father's chair and threaten my dragon and insult my friends? This is Berk. and we've defended our way of life from far worse than you." The trapper amused and replies: "A fighting spirit. I love it. Only I'm afraid you are mistaken. You've never faced anything like me." He whistles a command in a green flammable slime burst through the ceiling, Astrid and Blackarachnia jumped out of the way, The two landed on the ground as the Deathgripper aims it's tail at them. Hiccup yells: "Astrid, Blackarachnia, look out!" As he rushes to save them, the Deathgripper strikes with his tail and stinger but they dodge it in time. As Grimmel picks up his crossbow he whistles again and a second Deathgripper appears on the ceiling.
The grove trace to retreat Gobber carrying Fishlegs over his shoulders, Silverbolt exclaims: "Blackarachnia my love!" He transforms into beast mode, charging into the Deathgripper pinning it down and growls at it, The wolf griffin and dragon fought until Blackarachnia grabs him in the back with her webbing, pulls him off the dragon and says: "Thanks for the save lover boy. But now let's get out of this burning wood box." They escape out of the flaming house.
Hiccup and Valka where are the only ones left inside the burning house, One of the Deathgrippers breaths the flammable slime only for the Chief's mother tries to shield them, but the heat was so intense, it melts the shield. Grimmel says in a demanding and threading tone: "Have my Dragon ready by this time tomorrow, I will destroy everything you love. And as we speak Lockdown's attacking Optimus Prime." Grimmel vanishes in the smoke as Hiccup and Valka rushes out of the burning house to see most of the village on fire, and people rushing to put the fires out.
Optimus saw the village under fire, he says: "By Primus! I need to get there and help!" He's interrupted by a shot form back through to the chest, the last of the Primes falls to the ground groaning in pain. The one who shot him was Lockeddown in cannon head mode, as je transforms his cannon head, back to his normal, head his crew besides him are former Deceptacons are Mohawk, Dreadbot, Nitro Zeus, Onslaught, Shatter and Dropkick.
The former Deceptacons and their leader surrounded prime. Optimus spoke through his pain: "Lockdown." The Cybertronian mercenary says: "Autobots, Decepticons. Like a little children, Always fighting. Leaving bounty hunters like me to clean up the mess. Do I must say Prime, long time no see." Mohawk says in agreement: "Yeah, you got some upgrades. Got bigger, and flight mode." They kicked and punched him while he was down and wounded.
Optimus Prime questions: "But how did you get in? The alarm…" Shatter interrupts and answers: "Meer child's play. All your security systems were easy to break into." Optimus tries to get up but it kicked in the face by Dropkick who says: "And your scout and rhinoceros were easily disarm." He held Rhinox' left arm. Optimus questions last time: "Who sent you?" Lockdown answers: "We were sent by the three warlords, to capture the Night Fury. But you, where do you think you come from? (Scoffs) Do you think you're human? Do you think you was born? No, you were built. And your creators want you back."
Just as Nitro Zeus and Onslaught left of Optimus, Ultra Magnus with Hound, Arcee and Drift stop them. Ultra Magnus orders: "Drop Optimus Prime, now!" Lockdown orders his mercenaries: "Kill them!" The Cybertronian mercenary's attack the Autobots, and began open fire which the they minus Drift fire back. Drift on the other hand uses his swords by deflecting their shots.
As the two large Decepticons carried Optimus, they are stopped by Bumblebee who has just recovered, stunned shoots them both. Nitro Zeus falls to the floor, Onslaught gets back up and sees Drift, he tries to shoot him with his machine gun but the Autobot samurai was too quick, he even manages to cut both the gun and Onslaught's leg off causing him to fall to the ground and round house kick him in the head. Hound using his quadruple mini gun he manages to shoot off both of Mohawk's arms, Dropkick's left leg, and some of Shatter's ride side. While they were wounded Arcee jumps in between the three, she kicks Mohawk in the face, crotch punches Dropkick, and flips kick's Shatter. Then coming from the hallway is Smokescreen, Optimal Optimus, Botanica, Nightscream and Crosshairs come in helping their team mates. Seeing they're out numbered and matched Lockdown order: "All mercenaries retreat!" Optimus barely conscious as Lockdowns looks down at him and says: "Make your peace Prime. I will be back for my bounty." After the mercenaries collected their parts making a retreat, even throwing a smoke bomb to cover their escape as fast as they could. In the end the Autobots gathered. Ultra Magnus says: "Doctor we need your assistance we got two men down and are heavily injured." Ratchet repiles through his com-link: "I am on my way." He rushes to help Optimus and Rhinox.
Ratchet in vehicle mode enters the base door, transforms into robot mode and asks: "What happened to you?" Optimist grounds as he answers: "Lockdown he attacked us." Rhinox adds in pain: "One of his cons sucker punched me. Bee was hit hard. But me, I tried my best but there's too many of them. I even lost my arm in the process." As the Autobot medic tends to the leader of the Autobots and science officer of the Maximals, Cheetor in beast mode rushes into the base.
Cheetor says to the team: "Hey guys we need you to… Wow! Jumping gyros, what happened here?" The base was covered with bullet shots and plasma burns all over the walls. As Optimus Prime groans, Optimal Optimus answers for him: "We were attacked by Lockdown. And apparently some Deceptacons joined him." Hounds adds while smoking a bullet cigar: "With Megatron gone the cons are either gone and disoriented or find some other employment." The Maximal cheetah says to the group: "Well the village was hit pretty hard too. That Grimmel guy we were warned about. He caught us with our guard down. We had an ambush, and has unknown and dragons with him. Anyway Hiccup's calling for a meeting. He expects us all there." The Transformers didn't argue but head straight for the Great Hall.
The people gathered in the great Hall for the meeting. Hiccup, his Dragon riders along with Optimus and Optimal Optimus sad as the leading council members. Hiccup yells to the people: "All right. All right everyone. Settle down please. Fishlegs." The knowledgeable Viking still woozy from the dark, tries to wake up. "Have you ever seen that species of dragon before?" Before he could answer he falls backwards passed out.
The crowd all angry over the attack, among the crowd members Spitlout yells: "Let me at him!" another Viking yells: "I'll give him piece of mind! And by mind I mean fist!" He punched another Viking to demonstrate his what he was saying.
Hiccup questions to crowd: "Did you miss the part where we almost died? Have you seen my house? Not only were we hit, look at Optimus, he got shot for Odin's sake! This is a new kind of enemy. And I underestimated them. Now, that's on me. But I will not do that again." The people felt unease until Snotlout frustratedly pounds the table stands up and says: "We are Vikings. We don't run from a fight." Cheetor and beast mode says in agreement: "I'm with Snotlout. They attacked us, we should retaliate. Go in guns and swords blazing."
Some people agreed, but Hiccup states: "In short of full-blown war and risking everyone we loved, I don't… I don't see a way to stay here any longer." Everyone in disagreeing with the idea. Rattrap asks: "Have you lost your mind?! If we can bring all these people go to the Edge base. There's not enough room for everybody. Or every dragon. Will be sitting ducks there!" People are still in protesting the idea to leave Berk, until Astrid smacks her axe on the table and orders: "Hey! Here him out!" She nods to our chief to continue.
Hiccup says to the people: "If we want to live in peace with our dragons, we need a better plan." Gobber asks: "So what are you saying chief?" Optimal Optimus asks as well: "If you're saying we need to move, just tell us where to go."
Hiccup answers: "I'm saying we have to disappear off the map." The crowd were confused of this idea. Arcee questions: "Is that even possible?" Crosshairs adds: "What do you thinking? Travel to another planet?" Wheelie says: "I don't think that's possible." Brains agrees: "Yeah, the last planet suitable for carbon-based life forms is 5,000 light years away. All of our ships barely have enough fuel to reach Cybertron."
Hiccup continues: "Take the dragons to a place no one will find them." A Viking asks: "And where might that be?" Astrid answers for her chief: "He's talking about a quest for the Hidden World." Many people continue to question, about this quest. Ruffnut says: "Out to lunch." Blackarachnia asks: "So we're expecting to going on a wild goose chase?" Hiccup explains: "My father was obsessed with it when I was a boy. He made maps and notes in search of the ancestral home of all dragons, tucked in somewhere beyond the edge of the world. It may be the solution we need." He shows the maps and books.
Hiccup continues: "We're dragon people. It's where we belong." The people were small chair to hear this, "Look, I know this is our home. My father left me to protect it. But Berk is more than this place. We are Berk. The people, the dragons. I say Berk is wherever we go."
Optimus Prime stands up despite Ratchet's protest: "Optimus, wait you're still injured." Optimus still pushing through the pain, says: "No, I must speak." He stood before the people and says: "Humans of Berk, I know leaving Berk is a painful decision. Believe me, me and my fellow Autobots know that pain. But Hiccup's right. Berk's isn't a place it's a people. So long it's people live, so shall Berk. The same could be said about us Autobots. So long as any Cybertronian be they Autobot or Decepticons or any in between lives, so will Cybertron. And finding this Hidden World is the solution. Then will search for it. Everybody must travel to the edge of the earth and beyond." A moment of silence, until Tuffnut stands up and yells: "I'm with them! Who else?!"
That night the people gather their belongings with the Autobot and Maximal aid, minus Optimus Prime, Rhinox, Ratchet, WheelJack and Rattrap. Cheetor in charge orders the people: "All right everyone. This is gonna be a long journey. Don't bother yourself with personal treasures. Take only what you need. Food, clothes, tools and weapons."
As the villagers packed the essentials, Nightscream lands beside Cheetor in beast mode and asks: "Hey I can help, but Optimus Prime, Rhinox and Ratchet aren't helping. But where's WheelJack and Rattrap?" Bulkhead carrying a ship with the aid of Smokescreen and Hound, answers: "Jackie and Rattap's gonna blow up the base." Hound speaks his mind: "To bad. I would love to blow somethin' up." Nightscream questioning blowing up the base: "Blow up the base? Why?" Cheetor answers: "To cover our tracks. So the humans cannot reverse engineer our technology." Nightscream still continues to questions: "Don't you think that this world is a little primitive to reverse engineer our technology?" Smokescreen points out: "Yes. But sooner or later as this world grows more advanced they'll probably copy it." Hound finishes: "And there's no telling what are used for. Probably make weapons of mass destruction or something."
Tigertron in robot mode walks up and says to the group: "I've send Airazor and Silverbolt back to the Edge base to gather some the Energon for our travel." Cheetor says in a happy tone: "Good. We need as much as we can carry." The team continues work through the night.
At the base, Rattrap and WheelJack places explosives all over the base all over the computer, in every room to make sure that nothing will be left standing. After the bombs are set, and removes all their personal belongs, waiting outside is Optimal Optimus. After the demolition experts leave the base Optimus asks: "Are the bomb set?" Rattrap answers: "Yeah boss monkey. We've got the whole place ready to blow up like fireworks." WheelJack says holding the detonator: "Enough talk. Let's get this party started." He presses the detonator causing it to explode. The trio gather up all their and their teammates belongings and head back to the village.
At the Edge base, Silverbolt and Airazor gathered up as much Energon as they could find and carry. Airazor says to her ally: "OK Silverbolt. We've collected all the Energon we found." The wolf griffin replies to his she-falcon ally: "I hope it's enough to get us to the Hidden World. Silverbolt Maximize!" He transforms into beast mode. Airazor: "Airazor Maximize!" She transforms into her beast mode as well. The two carried the Energon back to the Island of Berk, with enough for 3 months.
At the Autobot ship yard, the collection of Autobot ships that are being repaired by Wheelie, Fixit and Brains. Wheelie asks Brains: "Hey Brains, pass me the socket ranch will ya?" Brains replies: "Sure." The minicon passes the tool, and asks: "Do you honestly believe that this Hidden World exists?" Fixit speaks his mind: "That sounds highly impossible. The idea of a great waterfall in the middle of the ocean sounds preposterous." Wheelie replies: "Well to be honest with you guys, I don't know what to believe anymore. I mean we've seen some interesting stuff since we came on this planet. And if there is a hidden world I hope it's far away from Lockdown and the other cons." The three minicons continue working on repairing the ships, all they need is the Energon and fuel source.
The next day the people of Berk, rode their dragons and carried supplies and ships with some sheep in them, some of the Autobots and Maximals were flying in space ships, while those who can fly without ships flew naturally all but Optimus Prime 2.0 who is still recovering.
As they flew, Fishlegs trying to keep the baby Gronckle in check and says: "Fishmeat, look eat your rocks. Eat your rocks." the baby dragon eats the rocks, Snotlout speaks his mind: "Gods! People who fly with babies are the worse." Fishmeat lava belches almost hitting Snotlout but ducked and instead hits his seat.
The Smithy Gobber flying next to his chief Hiccup and asks: I feel like I'm always asking this question, but…" His dragon falls asleep in mid-flight. "Wake up Grumpy! Wake up!" he flies right behind the chief who is lucky to spyglass. "Is there an actual plan or…?" Hiccup answers: "Just keep flying until we reach the end of the World." Gobber says: "Ah. That seems sensible."
Nightscream groans of how primitive these people are, and speaks to his leaders through radio silence: "These people actually believe their planet is flat. Permission to tell them the truth and it's round not flat?" Optimal Optimus answers: "Now, we need to let them figure this out on their own." The Maximal knight flying next to the bat Maximal and says: "it's true we shared our technology with them. But when we offered to teach them, sometimes they listen other times they doubt." Optimus Prime adds: "We must let them grow and evolve on their own. Only then will they understand the secrets of their world." The Maximal bat continues to fly, while complaining: "I hope we find the Hidden World soon because my wings are starting to ache." Silverbolt gives advice: "Just glide I'll make your flying a whole lot easier." So Nightscream begins to glide in a straight path like everyone else is.
Back on the Island of Berk, is now surrounded by the three Warlords fleet and hovering above it is Lockdown's ship. Changhatai Khan questions: "So, where are they?" The three Warlords climb the steps seeing Grimmel eating an apple and sitting on one of the steps with a map displayed. The Night Fury killer answers: "Gone. Obviously." The female warlord questions to the dragon Hunter: "You let the Night Fury escape you? Again?" Grimmel corrects: "I encouraged it. They abandon their only defensible position. Running scared with what little they can carry."
Lockdown with some of his lesser known crew, Nitro Zeus and Dropkick walks up and he says: "Well thanks to your encouragement, Prime's gone. And worse yet some of the Energon gone too." Dropkick adds: "I was hoping to smash some Autobots!" He said sounding disappointed.
With the fleeing Berkians, Snotlout groans out of boardum and says "It just keeps going on." Tuffnut theorizes: "That's 'cause the worlds actually round." While the Cybertronians agreed especially Nightscream feeling relief, the humans being a primitive race disbelief. " The sun is round, the moons round. Stars around. even though they're small and stupid." As the twins laughs, Toothless smells something familiar in the air.
On Berk Grimmel explains to them: "Don't fret. They won't get far." Nitro Zeus asks: "What makes you so sure?" Grimmel places his apple on one of his dragon's tusks and continues to explain: "The Night Fury is distracted. I introduced him to your female. Furies made for life you see."
With the flying Berkians, Toothless still recognizes the scent, Hiccup asks Toothless: "What are you picking up, bud?" Toothless notices the Light Fury, so does everyone else. Astrid Happily says: "The Light Fury!" Valka adds also happy: "She's following us!"
The entire group was amazed by the Light Fury. Airazor says about the Light Fury: "She's beautiful." Silverbolt agrees: "Like a day light shooting star." The Light Fury fires a plasma shot creating a cloud of smoke and flies into it and turns invisible. They were amazed again she just dirappaered. Nighscream asks: "Did you see that?"
Toothless follows the Light Fury and knowing where it is, I could try to calm them down, Airazor asks Optimus: "Sir, permission to give Hiccup and Toothless cover and see the Light Fury up close?" Optimal Optimus answers: "Permission granted. Just be careful." Airazor replies with confidence: "I'm always am."
The she-hawk-bot flies forward to follow Hiccup and Toothless. Up in the clouds, they stopped Airazor behind them searching for the Light Fury. Hiccup asks: "Do you see her?" They looked all around but no sigh Airazor answers: "I'm not picking up her on my sensors." The Light Fury coming in swooping down, Hiccup says: "Well look who it is." It didn't go as he was hoping. The Light Fury grabs Hiccup off of Toothless' back. "Oh, hey, it's really nice to finally…" She then let's go of him in mid sentence, he falls screaming She turns around to Toothless thinking he'll follow her still. The Night Fury alpha felt he had a choice either go with her or save his friend, he chooses to save Hiccup which confused the Light Fury.
Airazor flies up to the wild dragon and say:"Hey. I think you don't trust humans too well. But give it time, these humans are the good kind. Now if you'll excuse me I have a flock to rejoin." She swoops down back with the rest, the Light Fury was more confused seeing a talking hawk.
Toothless catch Hiccup mounting him back on his back, some of the people laugh thinking the Light Fury is just playing around. Hiccup felt embarassed says to everyone: "Not a word." Toothless looks up and the Light Fury is gone again.
Back on Berk Ragnar the Rock asks: "Y-Yes, yes but where did they go?" Grimmel answers: "Night Furies cannot fly long distances without rest. Their flight path must include stops." He points to the islands on his map demonstrating where they might land.
With the flock dragons and Berkians and transformers who sees A nearby long and tall island, Fishlegs yells: "Potty break!" everyone lands on the island, allowing to rest and stretch.
On Berk, Grimmel asks the three warlords and Lockdown: "Where is your love of the hunt? I thought you were conquerors. You'll have your prize in time just allow me A few more days to enjoy this. I dearly missed it." Lockdown says in annoyance: "Fine. You can play big game hunter all you want. I have a bounty to collect." The Cybertronian mercenaries leaves to rejoin his crew at the Autobot's base.
At the destroyed Autobot base, his team were searching through the rubble. Lockdown asks Shatter: "What have you discovered? Any Intel?" Shatter answers: "They destroyed everything. The equipment, computers, all of it. They cover their tracks too well." Dropkick kicks some pile of ashes and angrily says: "This all that human chief's fault! Since they got attacked, they turn tail and run like cowards. I was hoping Prime would stay and fight." Onslaught says in disagreement: "You wouldn't have faired against him anyway." Lockdown and frustration says: "So for the time being, we just have to follow Grimmel's plan." Nitro Zeus questions: "So we're letting the Dragon Hunter do all the dirty work for us? I'm OK with that." Lockdown felt Grimmel was enjoying this too much, he has a deadline to keep, but until then when he came and collect his bounty he just plays along.
After they land, the young chief dismount off of his dragon and says: "all right. Looks like we're camping here for the night." Gobber says in relief: well, thank Thor for that." The entire village plans to set up their own personal homes on the island.
Gobber pulls out a tool and plants it into the ground while saying: "Blacksmith stall goes right here." He screams seeing more Hobgobblers, there is now five, two in baskets, one in the net basket upside down. He counts them still in fear. Hiccup announces: "Uh, OK. Hold on gang I said make camp. That build a new village." Snotlout questions his Chiefs authority: "Who died and made you chief? What?" Many people gasp at his choice of words, Gothe in a balloon basket being carried by her dragons hits Snotlout in the head. Smokescreen says remembering last year: "His father numb skull." Rattrap speaks his mind: "Seriously. I'm thinking that helmets getting tighter on his head."
Hiccup continues: "Granted, this place is very nice, but it's not the Hidden World." One Viking says: "We don't know if this Hidden World exists." Another Viking agrees: "Yeah. This place is real." Optimus recovers from his bones and says: "True. But many myths and legends are based off truth. The scout ahead searching for it. Until then build your camp and eat your fill regain your strength. While Silverbolt, Airazor, Crosshairs and Ultra Magnus scout out ahead. The rest of us will fortify this place."
Valka walking up to her son and says: "There's nothing more stubborn than a mob tired, hungry Vikings." Hiccup says regarding the island: "Well, I guess this can work as a base in the meantime. It's defensible, hidden. All right. You can stay."
As the people cheered for New Berk. "Until Toothless and I find the Hidden World." They all grown and disappointment. As Tuffnut tells him about his voice saying: "Now, about that voice. Can we lose the whole hocking ghost thing. It's hard to imagine what a blast with that going off every minute." He walks away after giving advice Valka walks up to her son and says: "If you're going to continue west, I should head back to make sure we weren't followed." Snotlout wanted to go but she says no that he's needed here more. He agrees and leaves the two along, Hiccup replies in agreement: "Just be careful." Valka speaking from experience: "This plan to hide us from the rest of the world. Though-so I wish you were possible, I fear it can't last, Hiccup. We know I try to do the same thing for years. But greedy humans always find away. I only… I only ask you think about it." She begins her scouting patrol to see if they were followed.
Hiccup asks Astrid: "Do you still think I'm crazy or…?" Astrid replies: "let's just say. This whole idea is very you." Hiccup says to her: "Well thanks for supporting me last night. It meant a lot." Astrid holding a books finishes calling "don't thank me yet. I just hope that you're right about this." she gives the block, that's only clue to the Hidden World.
That night when everyone is sleeping I'll snoring noises are made a hidden Dragon sneaks into the camp. Toothless sleeping beside Hiccup wakes up notices the smell, knocking Hiccup off his bed he says to his dragon still trying to sleep: "Toothless. No, it's too early." The night fury leaves the tent to follow the scent. When he reaches the spot he turns around as the Light Fury reveals herself. Toothless is happy to see her, he hops around like a cheerful dog, until she growls at him to stop so as not to wake everybody. She walks away, he begins to follow her though the camp, trying tp catch with her. where they are heading is unknown.
