Issei slowly came back to consciousness and stared around at the void. He was in front of a desk floating in an unending white. Behind the desk furiously going through paperwork was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen with short blond hair framing a heart shaped face. As he noticed her she looked up and he stared into her dark green eyes. She scowled as he looked on unabashed.

"Stupid stupid boy. Do you know how difficult it has been to keep you alive?," she said softly. "Your soul is not designed to change so rapidly in any situation. You should be dead." She pointed at a suddenly floating clear orb with hairline fractures slowly spreading across it's surface. Floating inside were small lights of diffrent colors. As he focused more he felt and saw the seven red lights, one brilliant green light, and one white light.

"What...," he tried to speak and started hacking in pain as the hairline fractures grew across the orb.

"Don't speak boy," she admonished as she stared at the orb in frustration. "Your soul is to unstable even in this place. Now shush, I'm trying to figure out how fix this. Your lucky you know," she added quietly at the end as she calmed a little, "I wouldn't even try but you are bringing back my daughter."

She stared for what felt like hours to Issei as the cracks spread slowly around the orb. He tried to figure out the lights over this time and came to a few thoughts. The seven red lights were probably his peerage and the green light was maybe Ddraig. Although he thought the dragon had moved onto it's next host with the sacred gear...as he thought this the shattered remains of the sacred gear suddenly appeared in front of him to the astonishment of himself and sudden delight of the woman across from him.

"That may just work you idiot," she smiled as she grabbed it quickly and began taking what remained of it apart. As the pieces fell away and disappeared a light that burned his eyes slowly began to appear from within the mangled gauntlet. "A spark of divinity," she cooed as she carefully grabbed the piece with a long pair of tongs she pulled out of thin air.

The piece was just barely a spark. Just an ember that burned Issei's eyes if he stared at it for more then a second. The light coming off it made him regret burning ants under a microscope as a child. It felt like the light itself burned his very being. Carefully and methodically she moved another pair of thongs into the sphere before her and dragged the green orb out. It steched and caved like a soap bubble as a few more cracks appeared and Issei had to fight not to scream at the sudden unbearable pain.

She slowly put the shard of pure heavenly light above the orb and placed the tiny orb of green light above that. She crushed the green orb with a look of hope in her eyes. Distantly Issei heard the terrible scream of a dying dragon as green fluid seeped from the crushed orb and fell over the spark and down to the thing that he now understood was his very soul.

As it touched the spark it turned from a slow moving sludge to a pure clean green fluid. And as that dripped onto the cracks on his soul it filled in the gaps and solidified. Slowly his soul became a light see through green and the lights inside all turned a light green.

He felt better at the process slowly completed over the course of an eternity. His body could move and he saw himself become more solid as he stared down at his hands.

"Thank you," was all he said as the process competed. His soul now a vibrant green with seven green orbs inside. He stared as the one white soul slowly was forced out of his soul and moved to merge with the lovely woman as she sighed in relief.

"You should be much more careful then that Issei Hyodou," she said as she inspected the tool that once held the spark. It was gone and nothing was left. "I was Ukina before I died. The reason why what you did is so frowned upon is that my people keep our souls in our Kagune. I am what is left of the one you had implanted within you," she slowly relaxed onto the table before the lightly spinning orb. "You should be dead and your lucky its me who was sealed inside you. I was a very good soul medic during the war. You would not believe what effect even being in the light of an arch-angel at war will do." As she stared more intently at him she continued, "I have a few requests now that I am free of you and you are healed."

He nodded and still in awe sat down on his knees and bowed low in humility. "Anything I can do I will. I was stupid to have not talked about it with Yoshimura. Thank you for saving me."

As he relaxed again he saw her smile. "My dear Yoshimura. You, Issei Hyodou, are bound by this contract and I accept," she said as a small seal appeared between them and then constricted on him. "You will tell my dear surviving husband I will wait for him and that I love him. You will never do anything to your peerage against their will. And you will tell my daughter I love her."

"Of course," he scoffed as she thought he would ever be like Riser. "Are you sure that is all I can do?" he asked as he thought back on the eternity it took to heal his soul.

"Hmmmm...maybe you'll do after all," she said contemplative before she continued, "You know you should never offer more then is required you young foolish devil?...very well if you are to be foolish I may as well prepare you."

She walked up to his still kneeling form and placed a single finger on his forehead. "This will hurt worse then anything you have ever felt before and was only used in the most dire of circumstances. You will take all I can give you about Devil Society, Devil Politics, and The House Ghoul."

"Good Luck, your road will not be an easy one," she said soberly as she started fading away, "You will leave this place when the transfer is complete."

As she disappeared all that could be heard was the scream of a soul in unending pain. His mind forced to take on the knowledge of a lifetime.

As he slowly came back to his senses his mind realed at the enormous amount of information. He had fucked up in so many ways already and he hadn't even been the head of house for more then a day. The treaties broken by his kagune implantation and the soul sacrificed for his own to live. If it wasn't for Yoshimura and Serzechs covering for him he would be in one of the eternal torture pits already for what had been done. He would have to work hard to rectify the situation as soon as he could. How long had he been unconscious?

As he looked up he realized he was still standing in front of his new peerage, glorified slaves to family members depending on house, and Yorshimura was still looking on in horror. He calmly watched as the pieces were in the process of rebuilding the bodies of the parents of Touka and Hinami and his...saviors...daughter Eto. As the bodies grew out of nothing but ash the whole peerage, if naked he both arousedly and shamefully noticed in the case of the parents, had bands of green energy launched out of their chests and slammed into his. All seven members eyes changed to a void filled with an emerald nova at the center and their kagune launched out of their backs. The Kagune developed veins of glowing emerald power all throughout as he watched the process.

He knew abit of what was happening as the knowledge of Ukina was still fresh and raw in his mind. The pieces were based in ancient, even among devils, rituals that expanded the soul to allow it to bind to artifacts like the wards over the castle. His newly reconstructed soul was spreading, surrounding, and seeping into their bodies. The power he had acquired from the true death...true death of the soul itself...of Ddraig was enhancing the parts of them corresponding with their pieces.

"Yoshimura," he said as the process would take a few more minutes, "We need to have a chat when this is complete."

Looking confused at the suddenly fine young man but quickly refocusing on his reconstructing daughter he nodded as Issei sat down on a nearby chair and rubbed his forehead. So many things to do so little time.

As they all sat down in the side room, a study for war time matters, Issei stared out at the crowd that now relied on his decisions. He hoped this would go over well and thanked again whoever stocked robes in one of the closets nearby. He could not explain this and look out over a sea of bountiful chest pillows fully bared to the world.

"So firstly I'd like to welcome you all back into the main house of Ghoul and my peerage..."

"Then she faded and moved on as I was woke up to your Reincarnations. Knowing what I know now this is a secret we must all take very seriously for all our sakes," Issei finished bringing them all up to speed.

Yorshimura sat quietly holding his daughter with a stern look on his face while his Eto sat quietly taking it in with tears running down her face. She was a stunning young lady with light green hair and green eyes that expressed more then he felt he could understand.

Touka and Hinami both had looks of disbelief on their faces at the crazy situation as they cuddled with their parents and wept quietly at the reunion.

The parents of both children could not believe their fortune at being able to be with their children again and focused strongly on the young man before them.

As his story had come to an end he laid back and thought over what should come in the next few days. As he laid their quietly taking in the atmosphere someone spoke up.

"What's our first step Lord?," asked Hinami's father he assumed.

"Well...," thought Issei outloud as he sorted through what he now knew, "First I need to reclaim the Ghoul lordship and my seat on the houses before they think of some way to take advantage of my situation. Yorshimura would you be willing to collect some material on the last few hundred years of house politics?"

"Of course."

"Thank you. That will take time but I can get started now," he thought outloud as he called upon the magic runed into the castle. The original lords had designed it for comfort since many hated the house for the differences between them. A small desk with quill and parchment appeared before him. Taking the quill and cursing the unique family design to prevent forgeries he stabbed its special tip into his palm and hissed softly. With the blood he wrote as the parchment glowed with his personal devil power.

"I Issei Hyodou Ghoul do claim the lordship of the House Ghoul and my seat on the Council of 72 Houses. As my first act I formally invite those of Ghoul blood to be interviewed before the House at their earliest convenience. As my second act I register one Yoshimura as my standing heir in case of my departure from this life before I have children so that we may never again lose the House Ghoul."

He placed the newly written decree on the special stand on the desk and willed it to be sent to the Council and all living descendants of the House.

As the runes in the house took his decree he saw Yorshimura glow brightly for a second and look at him in shock. "Why would you add me as a heir?"

"You are the most senior member of the House, regardless of blood purity, and with this the people here will be safe if I'm targeted," Issei replied as he saw how devious and cruel some houses could be when they wanted something. Things had surely changed over the last few centuries but he doubted that changed excessively. "And now we can move forward with 'Interviewing' people to give them a home here, bring the family back together."

"I know many of you may have doubts but I just want the people I care about to be safe," Issei continued, "I still want what I want but this whole system is fucked. The least we can do is stay together. And I'd like you to help me with that. I know it may be hard but this may turn out right with your help."

Staring around the room he saw them all hesitate then nod. Except for Eto who promptly stood up and walked over to him. She just sat down on his lap as he was trying not so successfully to remember what he was talking about as her robe opened up and gave him quite an eyeful.

"As your new Queen I expect to be pampered my dear," she said as she smiled wickedly at his failure to keep his erection from pressing into her. "Only the best will do."

"Yyyyyyyes," he stuttered out as he stared at her very impressive bouncy bulbs. "Only the best."

Yorshimura sighed as he saw his daughter go for the kill and quietly left the room to collect the needed documents. He should have never allowed his wife to let her read any book she wanted.
