It wasn't long for the group to start to include Jade in their walks to class, meetings before school, and after school conversations. Even though she was brash and was offensive as a standard, they boys had learned that it was her love language.

Kind of.

Eli couldn't help but feel his heartbeat quicken and his face redden at every smirk, shoulder bump, and pet name thrown his way. Jade was becoming a face that he thought about frequently.

"So, I was thinking about the next season of Game of Thrones, right?" Demetri started as Jade walked out of the classroom. The boy had class right next to hers and a few days ago had started patiently waiting for her to get out so they could walk to lunch together. "Tommen was actually a really good king. The man should have killed Cersei, and Tommen and Margaery could have ruled Westeros peacefully."

"Yeah, but then there'd be no awesome battles or hot sex scenes." They turned to the corner to see Eli and Miguel waiting outside the cafeteria. "What would you rather have; peace or sex?"

Demetri was used to her comments, but that didn't stop the red filling his cheeks at the obscene question. He chose to greet his friends as a distraction.

Jade followed her friends as they got their lunch trays filled up with delicious shitty school food only for Kyler to make a huge scene.

He always was a drama queen.

To the girls ultimate delight, Miguel spoke up and took on the dumb kid in a pretty badass fight. Jade walked until she was next to Eli and nodded over to the fight.

"That's pretty hot."

Eli felt warm when Jade walked over and stood next to him. The spikes on her jacket rubbed up against his arm and he could help but enjoy being close to the danger. But the comment about the fight made Eli a little green.

Jade could see through the boys fidgeting that the words had done their damaged and smirked. The girl was 5'3'' in height and her shoes added two inches, but that still wasn't enough to beat the 5'8'' shy boy.

If only he carried his confidence in his height.

Jade leaned up into Eli's ear and whispered.

"That could be you, chiqui." Noticing the shiver physically run down Eli's spine.

Jade grinned and pulled away.

"But you're just too sweet, mi chiquito." With a small laugh, Jade walked away to go join Demetri at the lunch table. Demetri was giving the girl a dirty look.

"Stop harassing, Eli! He's not made for that much female attention." Jade scoffed.

"I don't know what you mean, Tigre. I was just talkin' to the kid." Demetri let out his own scoff of air at the audacity. Before he could reply, Eli had made his way to the table. His face was red.

"Aye, señor rojo. Everything okay?" Jade snickered as she took a bite from her ham and cheese sandwich. Miguel had been taken to counselor Blatts office and would most likely not be joining the three for lunch. Her eyes flickered over to Kyler and the other kids who attacked Miguel.

She'd deal with them later.

...

It was later.

"You know, mamón. It's not always love when butterflies are in your stomach."

Kyler looked over at the voice in fear. He had just exited the gas station near his house after buying some energy drinks and snacks. The teen was filling up his car before going home.

It was late and the gas station lights went out.

Jade Lester was sitting on the bench outside of the gas station with her legs crossed. In her right hand she held a colorful butterfly knife that she played with while talking. Kyler could feel the fear shoot down his back and took a small step back.

"Where ya goin', mi mamónito. I just want to... talk." Jade got up from the bench slowly and cracked her neck. "What you did today was... unacceptable." Kyler stayed silent as he took a few more steps out onto the street in fear.

"H-hey listen freak, you-"

"I-I-I don't give a fuck." Jade mocked. She pointed the blade towards the teen. "You are a tiny little roach on the bottom of my shoe. I don't care about you." The mint-haired teen walked until she was mere inches away from Kyler. "Miguel? He has a future in his head that's gonna happen. Me?"

Jade pointed the blade in her direction for a brief moment and grinned.

"I bloom everywhere, mamón. Wether that's outside where the grass grows... or inside four concrete walls." Kyler felt like he was about to shit himself. "So take a little hint of advice.." Jade allowed the tip of her blade to roam over the boys trembling stomach.

"Back the fuck up, bitch."

Kyler quickly ran away from the girl, almost dropping his bad of snack as he went to his car and drove away. The girls cackles fled his ears and would later fill his nightmares.

Jade closed up the knife and tucked her hands in her jacket. Walking inside the gas station she sent the attendant a nod and smirk.

"Gracias por tu ayuda, Diego." Diego shook his head and sent a smirk back, turning the lights back on.

"Cuando quieres, prima. Para mi siempre ha sido un placer encontrarme con usted."

Jade was feeling satisfied at the exchange when she left the gas station.

...

The next day at lunch Eli was trying to convince her and Demetri to join Cobra Kai with him.

"I-I just think it would be cool to learn how to do what Miguel did." Jade looked at the teen.

"Usted es muy apuesto..."

Eli looked at Jade in confusion, red flushing over his face.

"W-what?"

Jade chuckled and shook her head, enjoying her ham and cheese sandwhich. Demetri rolled his eyes cleared his throat.

"Now that you two are done flirting..." Eli's face flared red as he look anywhere but a human face. Jade just smirked, not bothering to hide it. "I don't mind giving it a try, I guess. It's be pretty cool to not have to worry about Kyler and his gang." Jade snorted.

"You don't have to worry about him, tigre." Demetri looked over at the punk with narrowed eyes. She did something. He knew it.

And it was probably pretty illegal.

"What about you, miss americano? You going to join Eli and I at Cobra Kai this afternoon?"

Jade thought about it for a moment. Class was at 4:30 pm, but she had to work at 7:30 pm. She supposed that she could get a shower and change in time to go.

She nodded.

"Yeah, I'll give it a try." Jade pointed at Eli. "Only because you asked, chiqui. No promises I'll stay though."

Eli felt a smile play on his lips, heart warmed at the though of her joining because of him.

"Besides, I'd love to have you pin me down on the mat, mi osito." Eli's face flared up like a volcano at the insinuation and choked on his YooHoo.

Demetri found himself disturbed at the flirting and obscene comments.

Maybe he shouldn't go tonight...

...

"Where the hell is she?!"

Eli was upset.

Jade hadn't shown up to the dojo like she had said she would, which left him and Demetri together to fend for themselves. Standing next to Jade made Eli feel like he was invincible. She exuded a confidence that seeped into his pores and made his shoulders feel lighter. Jade made him feel like he had a fighting chance.

Without Jade, Eli's scar was more visible.

...

Jade felt terrible.

Her ride was late and therefore she was late. And Jade be damned if she'd let her Eli down.

Her friends. Her friends down.

She even wore a tank top for this.

Jade's workout outfit consisted of a black tube top and a baggy tank top with a rose and moon phases on the front. She wore normal black yoga pants, but made up for the normal with her knee high four inch platform. Deciding the outfit was too... soft for her, Jade paired the outfit with a spiky chain collar necklace and spike bracelets on either wrist. Jade even put some make up on for battle effect.

Jade was loud. And she loved it.

"Let that be a lesson to you all."

As the doors chimed violently, announcing her late. Jade noticed Demetri on the ground, looking physically and emotionally offended.

Heads swiveled.

Looking passed Demetri, Jade's eyes narrowed. Eli was hiding his scar behind his hand and was refusing eye contact. She walked further into the dojo and stopped just before the mat.

"Who the fuck are you?" Johnny asked, eyeing the girl with impressed eyes. "Now that is Cobra Kai material. Fall in-"

"It's Jade." The mint haired girl cut off Johnny as her eyes flicked over to the man. "I don't do nicknames." Thankfully, the boots she had picked out had zippers down the side of them and after they were neatly on the side wall, Jade made her way over to the fallen Demetri and stuck out a hand.

Jade pulled the boy up and stood next Eli, who only looked away in shame.

Johnny nodded his head, not bothering with... whatever that was about. With a little more hope of having more badass students like Jade, he called the class back to attention.

Jade's fury was internal and dormant.

She didn't like Demetri face when he was on the ground.

Or Eli covering his scar.

She can wait.

...

A/N:

Jade, Jade, Jade...

overprotective?

Probably.

Psychotic?

Maybe.

Overbearing.

...Possibly...

-Anythings, cousin. It's always a pleasure to see you

-You are so cute...

Answer: Gianni. His interviews with fans make me laugh and cringe. I love it because he's a normal human and I love that about him.

Question: If you had to delete one character from Cobra Kai, who would it be?
