"Zuko, if you want to have some alone time with Azula, you can just say so" Lu Ten told him with a smirk after Zuko spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to subtly (by his standards) to ask him to keep an eye on Kiyi by himself instead of with their help like they had agreed to when Ursa, Ikem and Iroh said they were going out "It's better than the two of you risking getting caught again."
He didn't like leaving all of the responsibility to Lu Ten or to bail on Kiyi, but he wanted to be with his girlfriend. It had been so long since they got to spend a whole day by themselves, just enjoying each other's company. Thankfully, their cousin and their sister seemed to be understanding, or at the very least unwilling to deal with them being clingy all day.
So, the two of them went to the woods, talking, bickering and flirting the entire time. Azula was very annoyed when their mother started texting Zuko, asking how long they'd stay out and warning them to be careful.
"Can't you just ignore her?" she asked, irritated.
"If I answer now, she'll leave us alone later" he said, already typing his reply, but he stopped when he noticed where his sister was going "That's the wrong way"
"Ikem showed me a short-cut last year" she explained.
"Go through the regular path, just to be safe" he insisted.
Azula rolled her eyes and did what he told her to do... or at least he thought so. He managed to reply to the message pretty fast, sprinted after her, and didn't find her. He would have probably started yelling the second he saw her... if she wasn't in a hot-spring, fully naked.
"So, this is what you had in mind, huh?"
"Obviously. You know better than anyone how much I enjoy hot baths" she teased as she used her firebending to make the water even hotter.
He stayed silent for a moment as he remembered that he should be upset by what she did "I told you not to take the short-cut by yourself"

"This place is huge and you only used the path you took once. You could have gotten lost"
"Can't you berate me later? We're finally getting some alone time, and I don't want to spend it arguing" she said with that cute little sorry face that she always used when she wanted him to no longer be mad, but without having to actually apologize.

Zuko placed his back-pack next to hers and of her clothes, on the rocks around the hot-spring, trying to get at least a glimpse of his sister's body, even though he had already seen it hundredths of times, but the water and the fog made it impossible. Azula noticed and offered him a malicious smirk as she played with her hair.
"Why don't you get in, brother?" as usual, her voiced sounded like the world's sweetest music to his ears.
"I thought we were supposed to try to control ourselves" he teased, taking another step closer to her.
"We're not doing anything..." she kept playing coy, leaning back, but being careful enough not to show him what he wanted to see.
And even if we were, we're all alone, dum-dum, he could almost hear her say.
He started to undress, and his sister practically devoured him with her eyes. Usually he'd undress slowly as part of their little game, but it was too cold... and he just wanted to feel his sister near him. He got in, the hot water feeling like a blessing. As it started to snow outside, Zuko went to bed, and instantly begun to drift off. But before he could sleep, he heard the sound of his door being opened, and then his sister climbing into bed with him, wrapping her arms around him, pressing up against him and kissing his neck. Zuko had to smile - even an entire day together wasn't enough for her.
"I couldn't sleep" she whispered in his ear, sounding tired and needy.
"This is a bad idea" he said, but she didn't even bother to respond, not moving a muscle.
They both knew he'd let her stay even if he was sure that'd be caught the next morning. He only hoped that, if that did happen, the others wouldn't find it suspicious enough to start asking too many questions.
