Chapter 1 of 1
Jason slammed his gun down as he looked at most of his men…his brothers. "Anyone want to tell me how she got the drop on us?" He hissed as he sat down in one of the folding chairs.
"Jas, I think it's safe to say we underestimated them, especially her." Ray told his friend as he looked at the downtrodden faces of the rest of the team.
This mission was supposed to be a cakewalk, it wasn't supposed to play out this way.
"Well, I think it's safe to say Blondie here didn't do his due diligence," Sonny said in a lazy southern drawl.
"Screw you Sonny," the younger man snapped. He was pissed because he knew some of what the other man said was true but how was he supposed to know she was a wolf in sheep clothing and had lulled him into a false sense of security.
They all looked up when Full Metal came strutting up to them with a grinning Stella Baxter sitting on his shoulders brandishing her paint gun and Cerberus trotting beside them.
"You two don't need to gloat," huffed Trent.
"Don't be pissed because you all got your asses handed to you by a civilian." He gloated.
"You brought in a ringer!" Brock argued.
"Hey, we won fair and square," the big man argued.
Jason narrowed his eyes at the woman as Metal settled her on the ground next to him before slinging a comradeship arm over her shoulders. "I want to know how a woman who claims to have never shot a gun took out six of my men…"
"Five," Metal interrupted.
"I couldn't shoot Clay," Stella admitted as she gave her boyfriend a smile.
Sonny rolled his eyes when Clay gave the woman a flirtatious grin. "Head in the game Blondie Skywalker," he grumbled.
Davis smirked at the men as she tapped her clipboard, "so this training exercise was to help family and loved ones to understand what we are up against and personally I think Stella now has more than a good idea of that."
"I still want to know how the professor who has never handled a gun managed to get the drop on us." Jason said as he eyed the woman in question.
Stella shrugged her shoulders, "honestly I can't explain it, just felt natural when the gun was in my hands."
"Beginner's luck," Ray reasoned.
The others all begrudgingly agreed as they stood up. Clay shook his head slightly as he made his way over to his girlfriend, "come on Annie Oakley, let's go home."
Jack smiled as he watched the scene below. When he had first heard that Balthazar had stolen Jo Harvelle from Heaven after he had meet her when he had un-sunk the Titanic and had changed history timeline...a timeline that Jo didn't die in Carthage, Missouri.
Balthazar had decided that the blonde huntress could come in handy, so he had gone to Heaven and found Jo, bringing her back to earth. Jack was sure that the angel had planned to use Jo at some point to get Dean Winchester to do his bidding but had died before this happened.
Before he died though Balthazar had wiped Jo's memories completely and she truly did believe she was a woman called Stella Baxter and had even inserted her into a family and planted memories of a whole different life for Jo and the couple he had chosen as her surrogate parents.
At first he was tempted to correct what had been done to her...to restore her memories...knowing how much it would mean to Dean and to Sam to have Jo back in their lives but then he saw her how happy her and Clay were together and that they were building a life together and decided that even though Balthazar had done what he had done to use Jo as a pawn that the woman she was now had a good life that he decided he didn't have the right to destroy it.
He turned when Ellen Harvelle joined him. "Look at my girl," she murmured.
"She's truly happy Ellen," he reassured her.
"Good, that's all a parent ever wants for their child. Thank you, Jack, for locating her for me."
"I'm glad I was able to find her," he said.
Ellen nodded her head and whispered, "me too." They watched as the other men got up and followed the young couple. "Of course, part of me feel a little sorry for her man. Poor bastard has no idea that my girl is a sharpshooter."
Jack grinned as the men all they took off their paint covered vests. "Oh, I think Clay isn't the only one who now realizes there's more to Stella Baxter than meets the eyes."
The End
I hope people like it and if you're not familiar with Supernatural I apologize.
Basically, Alona played the character Jo Harvelle who was a hunter and died while saving the character of Dean Winchester. Her character was 'brought' back a couple of seasons later when one of the angel's (Balthazar) changed history by going back in time and not letting the Titanic sink but then when he fixes this her character is 'dead' again.
