"Well," started Dumbledore. Yes- the Albus Dumbledore. Teddy sat in his chair at the kitchen table, his mouth agape. Every Order member that had met him and Vic were staring at the two of them as they were interrogated. "You two have created quite the stir haven't you?" Dumbledore gazed both Teddy and Victoire over, seeming to be studying every one of their features. "Now- can either of you explain to us exactly what had happened to get you here?"

"Well," Victoire started weakly. "Ted and I were having a sleepover, and we got really bored, so we went looking for something to do in my Uncle's closet. Then Ted here tripped and the time turner fell off of its shelf and…here we are."

"Very well," said Dumbledore, "and this Uncle of yours is…"

"Well, Harry Potter of course," Victoire supplied as if it was the most obvious answer.

"Why were both of you at Harry's," asked Remus. He was sitting across from Teddy and was staring directly at him, even if he was speaking to the both of them. "And how did he have a time turner?"

"Because…," Vic trailed off.

"Because I'm his Godson," answered Teddy. "I hadn't seen him or his kids since I had before I'd left Hogwarts, so I was spending the night there and Vic tagged along. His kids are a lot younger though, so they were all knackered at this point."

"And the time turner," Bill pushed.

"Uncle Harry's an auror," explained Vic. "It was from work."

"And he left it out in the open for you two and his children to get a hold of," asked Molly, horrified.

"Well…," Teddy started hesitantly, "we may not have been supposed to be in that closet."

"So all of this happened because you both were somewhere where you shouldn't have been," asked Remus.

"Yeah," Teddy answered lamely.

"Very well then," said Dumbledore, standing up from his seat at the table. "The good news for the two of you is that it is very easy for someone to get here from your time. As long as the sand from the time turner is still there, all they will need to do is touch it and they'll be transported back in time, as you two were. However, getting back to your time will be the hard part. They would need a time turner that can transport you to the future."

"But Professor," said Tonks, "they don't exist, right?"

"They do in our time," Teddy told her. "But they're really hard to get. They're only for real emergencies."

"I would say that the high possibility of you two changing the future as it was written constitutes itself as a real emergency," stated Dumbledore. "I have to get back to the castle now. Please do inform me if anything happens."

"Thank you, Professor," said Remus. Dumbeldore gave the room a courteous bow before leaving the room. Victoire turned to Teddy, but before she could speak, he stood up and walked out of the kitchen.

Teddy spent the rest of that evening digging through all of the books in the library. He always enjoyed reading, but he was doing it now more so to get away from Vic. Teddy didn't want to talk to her since he opened up to her about not wanting to leave his parents. She didn't understand; he knew she wouldn't, but she wasn't even trying to either.

He was now on his third round of one of the bookshelves- he couldn't find any book that seemed interesting. They were all about some form of dark magic or some dark ancient relic or rune.

"There's nothing good in here," said a hoarse voice from behind Teddy. He turned around to see his Father in the doorway- a breath getting caught in his throat as he had forgotten for a moment. Remus smiled at him, "believe me I've checked."

"It's all weird stuff," Teddy bemoaned.

"Yes, and there's probably things that bite living in most of these," said Remus. "I have books in my room if you need something to read. Ones that don't have colonies of spiders in them."

Remus led Teddy out of the library, up a flight of stairs, and down the hall to a bedroom. He opened the door and they both stepped inside. The room was decorated just as drab and dark as the rest of the house. In fact, the room was almost identical to Teddy's and Vic's, only there was one bed. In the corner of the room lay two trunks, one that was open with robes neatly folded within. The other was sealed shut. Remus waved his wand at it and it sprang open as he nudged Teddy closer to it.

He peered inside to see piles upon piles of books. He looked back up at Remus, amazed.

"I've collected a few over the years," he said with a shrug. "I think a few might be from Hogwarts after I left after teaching. I left so quickly I forgot to return them to the library. I'm surprised Madam Pince hasn't sent for my head yet."

Teddy laughed, "I was banned from the library for about a month earlier this year- well….earlier in 2009."

"Oh boy, what did you do," asked Remus with a smirk.

"I was checking out a book for my transfiguration homework, and while I was flipping through the pages I fell and tore a page out by mistake," explained Teddy.

Remus winced, "wow- ripping a book, you're incredibly lucky it was only a month."

"Yeah," agreed Teddy. "I was only allowed back because my professors kept complaining to Madam Pince because I had a hard time getting my homework done without any resources. But she still hates me."

"Well, Teddy, after breaking a book, that's never going to stop," said Remus with a kind smile. Teddy returned it by smiling up at his father. "Merlin…you have your Mother's smile, did you know that?"

Teddy smiled even wider, "my Gran always tells me that."

Remus sat down on the edge of the bed, "it's a beautiful smile, Ted. It's honestly one of my favorite things to see." Remus looked off into the distance; his eyes were becoming glassy as though he were about to cry.

Teddy sat down next to him, "are you alright, Dad?"

Remus looked at him and smiled, "I've never been better."
