CRASH!!!

A shaymin was sent flying into the stone wall, the force was powerful enough to create a giant hole in the wall. As he crashed into the wall, a beautiful gardevoir, with celestial wings and stones floating all around her, channeled a bright beam of light, and blasted it towards the chaos. The blast caused an explosion.

Amongst the battle, a meowth wearing a black hoodie with grey decals, and a black face mask, dive kicked a pokemon. This pokemon appeared to be another form of plusle and minun. It was purple with the plus and minus sign symbol in his clothing.

The pokemon staggered backwards but regained its footing. Suddenly it did a move, and it split itself in two. Now there was a plusle AND a minun in its place. Minun wore a hood, wielding a katana, while Plusle wore pants and a bandana, but his fists radiated with powerful electricity. Both of them had blank, white, soul piercing eyes.

The meowth didn't hold back, despite the match up, and he stood his ground as both of the pokemon charged at him. Meowth used swift, but the two front flipped over all of the stars and they attacked him.

He caught all of their fists and blocked them, reversing their attacks with his own. Minun swiftly pulled out his katana and sliced it at Meowth. Meowth ducked under the blade and drove his fist into MInun's ribcage, bright blue energy exploded from Meowth's fist, and pushed Minun back.

Plusle suppressed Meowth with a flurry of punches, forcing Meowth to defend. Then Plusle tried a spin kick. Meowth dodged the kick and grabbed his throat, lifting him up and choke slamming him into the ground.

Across the battle, a purrloin wearing a dark red cloak, with the hood up and a red face mask, was fighting a pachirisu. The pachirisu wore a red bandana, with a set of katanas over her back. Pachirisu used a quick attack to catch the purrloin slacking, but purrloin created a wall of dry blood, which pachirisu ran straight into. She fell back on her back. Then the wall began to fall onto her, but pachirisu rolled out of the way just in time. The dry blood liquified, returning to the purrloin.

Purrloin charged Pachirisu, and Pachirisu dodged her attacks, however Purrloin's claws found her stomach, and she slashed a nasty gash into her. The blood that spilled out of Pachirisu quickly formed into a big spear, in which Purrloin used to smack her across the face with. Pachirisu fell back onto the ground, and Purrloin raised the blood spear, ready to finish her. As she went in for the kill, a flurry of shurikens pierced her body and left her staggered. Suddenly something fast and swift, broke her knee cap by kicking it. Purrloin fell on her knees, as this pokemon grabbed both sides of her head, and snapped her neck. The force was powerful enough that purrloins head spun completely 180 degrees.

Pachirisu looked up at the figure, who appeared to be all metal. The figure turned around, revealing that it was an eevee, who was completely cyberized from the neck down. Suddenly as this eevee had saved Pachirisu, she grabbed her sword and went in for the kill. Pachirisu quickly spun onto her feet, ignoring the pain from her abdomen.

As those two fought, the meowth from before had managed to defeat both the minun and the plusle. The two fused back into the hybrid upon their defeat. Suddenly amongst the chaos, a large roar echoed and shook the place. Meowth looked towards the sound, and things got real.

It was a large ursaring, much like the eevee, was fully cyberized. One arm was half metal, half flesh, while the other arm was just a giant chainsaw. Half of the ursaring's face was also cyberized, sporting a glowing, red eye. He roared once again as he power walked into the battle.

Both a buizel and a buneary charged at him with their own moves. Buizel used Aqua Jet and Buneary used Pound. Ursaring caught Buizel with his claws, like catching a bullet. Then with his head within his grasp, Ursaring, drove his head into the ground, powerful enough to create a crater where his head was.

Then he turned and backhanded Buneary, who flew backwards into the distance. Then suddenly as he was moving on, a yellow, rubbery mallet struck him across the side of his head. He staggered a bit, and looked towards the rubber as it retracted. It came from a rubber pikachu, one with extreme elastic capabilities.

He squished his own body into a spring-like shape, and with an audible creak, he bounced straight into the ursaring, knocking him back. Ursaring roared and revved his chainsaw. Then he swung it at the pikachu, not letting back. The pikachu dodged the chainsaw, stretching and contorting his body to dodge it.

Then he began to strike him back, inflating his fists to make them bigger and more impactful. He threw a flurry of rubber punches into the ursaring. He kept punching and punching. However, the attacks didn't seem to faze the ursaring. He laughed, then he slammed his giant fist into the back of Pikachu's skull. Pikachu fell face first into the ground. Then ursaring began striking him, one strike after another. Each strike sent PIkachu more and more into the ground.

Soon there was just a big hole where Pikachu was, his form was horribly deformed from Ursaring's ruthless attacks.

As Ursaring recovered, Meowth struck him with his big sword. Ursaring stumbled back, and Meowth went in again. Ursaring deflected his blade with his chainsaw. Despite the size difference, these two pokemon appeared to be evenly matched.

As the two fought, Pikachu seemed to have recovered from the attack and he snuck up on Ursaring. He stretched his body and limbs, wrapping his limbs around Ursaring's body and constricting him tightly.

Ursaring roared as he tried to break free, but his struggles merely stretched the pikachu out more, but making the grip around him tighter. As Fenris went in for the kill, a huge ray of light filled the battlefield, followed up by a big explosion.

The chaos immediately settled down, as everyone within radius was knocked out onto the ground. The only pokemon left standing was walking towards them. It was an undead lucario, wearing a black cloak, with black mist surrounding his body, and a human mandible covering his face like a mask.

Pikachu weakly lifted up his head, and looked upon the creature. Close to Lucario, a sylveon forced herself up to strike the lucario. Without looking, Lucario caught her arm and drove his elbow into her. Then effortlessly, he drove his arm straight through the sylveon, creating a huge, messy and bloody hole in the sylveon. She threw up blood as her body lifelessly collapsed, her intestines spilling out onto the floor as she fell.

Then, a snivy with bionic equipment over her arms, tried to attack him as well. She tried to beat him down with her bionical gauntlets, but Lucario deflected all of her attacks, and flipped her around. He then wrapped his paws around her head, and squeezed. She screamed out in pain as he squeezed her head with all of his might. Her eyes popped out of her sockets, and fluid began leaking from her head as her skull was getting crushed. Then, like a zit, he popped her head, an explosion of blood and bits of brain was all that was left.

Lucario approached the rubber pikachu. Pikachu slowly tried to get up onto his feet. But suddenly he felt an invisible force choke him. He gasped and croaked as he was being lifted up into the air, choking him. Lucario brought him up to his face, staring into his soul as Pikachu was being choked to death. Pikachu weakly clawed and grasped his neck, desperately trying to breathe.

Lucario slowly brought his paw up to his mask, and with one finger, hushed him. This was it… the end of days… one final fight before the end...

Chapter Two [Pikachu]

I was alone. Standing out in an empty field, surrounded by a thin tree line of dead willows. There was no color, instead there was a thick, grey fog.

I stood there, out in the middle of nowhere, not a word nor a peep. Despite being outside in open space, I had a constant, overwhelming feeling of isolation and claustrophobia. I felt trapped.

I continued to stand there, not moving a muscle. It was complete silence. No wind, no wildlife, just me… or so I thought.

Through the thick of some shrubs, I saw a figure, standing there and staring at me. They were about my size, maybe a bit taller. I couldn't tell what it was, its face was covered by a mask, and it wore a hood.

It's piercing, glowing white eyes stared into my soul. Unable to move, I stared back at it.

I suddenly shot awake, sweat dripping from my body, and my heart racing. I panted, feeling overwhelming anxiety. I placed my paw over my chest, it was racing so much. I looked around to find myself back in my burrow. I sighed and tried to calm myself down. I had that dream again.

I was in the middle of my burrow, my body was stretched out and coiled up like a snake, using my body as support to lay on. I also had my stuffed plushie with me, wrapped in my arms. It was a little bear pokemon. It was light orangish brown, with black button eyes, and a cream colored crescent on its forehead. I didn't know what Pokémon it was, but I named him Cuddles. He was my best friend… my only friend…

I leaned forward and planted my elbows onto my coils, resting my head on my paws. That thing was in my dream again. It was my second encounter with that same person. I wasn't sure if it was a human or a Pokémon. It covered it's identity well.

But I was surprised to see it again, especially since outside my first dream, I had never seen it before in real life. So why was it in my dreams? What was the symbolism? It seemed to be watching me. But what did that mean? Did it even mean anything?

I've been having these strange dreams of being either isolated or being out in the middle of nowhere before, but this figure has become a recent thing. Maybe it was my anxiety reminding me that even though the pikachu around me ignore me most of the time, they're still watching me, whether out of fear, or because I'm a freak show.

How could you blame them? A pikachu made of rubber isn't normal. The things my body does isn't exactly something anyone wants to see either, at least not without hurling.

I try to be nice, but simply existing is enough to make them back off. Tales and folklore of dark magic and monsters plague these parts. Tales of Pokémon being born from the dark energy of Yvetal.

Having the unusual ability that I possess, I've been on the radar. They call me a bad omen, and other heart wrenching names.

I hear them talking behind my back all the time. They say that by simply being here, I put them all at risk. I'm not sure what the risk was, and I'm pretty sure they don't know either. They just believe in folklore. And to be honest, maybe they are right. I don't even know how I'm here. I don't remember anything from my childhood, the only life I know is here. In solitude.

And the only reason why they haven't kicked me out of this place, was because of the prophet. Although the prophet and I don't actually interact with each other, for some reason he insists that I stay. The prophet was the leader of the clan, him being not only a religious leader, but also the only Raichu within the clan, making him the elder.

As much as I would love to leave this clan and live on my own, there's no telling what horrible monstrosities are out there in the wild. It's much safer here. Rumor has it that the prophet protects our home with a spiritual barrier that deflects all the dark magic and the savage pokemon that roam the forest. Now I'm not so sure if I actually believe that, but this place is pretty safe. I don't recall us ever having been attacked by other wild pokemon before.

Finally having calmed down, I rose up and began to retract my body back to normal shape and length. Once I was done retracting myself, I stood up from the floor and began my morning stretches. I raised my arms over my head and streeetched out my midriff vertically, raising my height. Then I retracted and twisted my body to the left and to the right.

After my morning stretches, I walked over to the other side of my burrow to check on my food supply. Upon inspection I found out that I was actually out of food. I sighed, knowing I'd have to go out and find food before I could even have breakfast. I was annoyed at myself that I couldn't even manage my own food supply properly.

I walked around the burrow and found my brown satchel, which I picked up and slung over my shoulder. I set cuddles inside the satchel, his fuzzy head poking out from the main pocket, and I walked out of the burrow into the outside world.

The sky was dull, thick grey clouds stretched across the sky, masking the sun. Walking out, I was surrounded by trees, no immediate signs of other Pokémon here. After taking in a deep breath of the fresh air, I marched forward in search of food.

The forest wasn't exciting, it was all just trees and plants. It looked beautiful, but it wasn't anything special. Outside of scavenging for food, I didn't go outside of my burrow much. I wasn't quite comfortable with going out. Pokémon around me would give me weird looks and stares, and they said things behind my back about me.

I was better off being alone in my burrow, where I didn't have to deal with judgment. Just the very thought of being seen, was enough for me to cower away in my burrow.

I came across a berry tree, filled with Oran berries. I began to pick each berry individually, and tossed them into the satchel. After I've gotten enough berries, I went out deeper into the forest to find more kinds of food.

I came across an apple tree, red juicy apples hanging from their stems. I walked up underneath the tree, and looked up at all the apples. I reached out to them with my arm, and began to stretch it out towards them. My arm creaked softly as it elongated, slightly thinning out as it stretched longer. I felt the hard surface of the apple under my paw, and I gently grasped it. I pulled, and the stem broke off, releasing the apple from the tree. I retracted my arm back to me, and tossed the apple into my satchel.

Stretching my arm out again to great lengths, I grabbed a bunch more apples, and filled up my satchel with them. Upon finishing that up, I decided that that would be enough, and I proceeded to quickly head back to my burrow. On the way there, I heard a twig snap next to me. I froze, chills going up my spin, and goosebumps rising on my rubber skin. I looked around me, my feet stuck on the ground. I didn't see anything, or hear anything else. But an overwhelming feeling of dread washed over me.

I began to tremble a bit, and I finally was able to move. I eased forward a bit, and suddenly heard another twig snap. I panicked and I quickly sprinted back into my burrow. Without looking back, and the wind blowing in my ears, I ran into my burrow where inside I was safe. I sat against the wall, breathing heavily. I took a moment to sit there and gain my breath back, sweat dripping down the side of my head. I sighed in relief, as I unslung my satchel and sat it down next to me.

I hated going out there. Past the so-called "Spiritual Barrier" was the forest of horrors. A place where savage, wild pokemon wandered. A place where dark magic resided and corrupted the weak. Maybe it was just the leaders of the clan scaring us so we wouldn't leave, but that place was unsettling nonetheless. I couldn't defend myself. I was unable to use any pokemon moves. I didn't know how. I couldn't control electricity, couldn't turn my tail iron, I couldn't even perform a simple Quick Attack.

I was useless… a pikachu who couldn't perform any electric moves. I didn't stand a chance out there in the forest. Here in the clan was the only place where I was safe.

After a moment of rest, I got up and grabbed the satchel. I carried it over to my food supply and refilled it. Finally, I didn't have to worry about food for a while. I grabbed an apple, and I chomped into it. Tasting that delicious taste, and feeling the juice run down my tongue. I hummed in content.

Now my hunger was satisfied. After eating, my mind began to drift off into space, and I thought back to my dream. I pondered over the figure that watched me, over and over again each night.

It really began to creep me out, because what if it did mean something. Or what if it was a ghost haunting my dreams? I had so many questions and speculations, but no answers.

There was a service going on today, with the prophet. Maybe he could give me answers. He was the only Pokémon around that didn't just run away from me at first sight, or look at me in disgust.

Perhaps I could ask him. However, that meant that I had to go out and talk to him, which meant I would have to go out in public. I didn't like being around other Pokémon, everyone would always stare at me. And I would always hear them whisper behind my back. I knew they were talking about me, they always do.

As much as I didn't want to go out, I desperately wanted an answer. I wanted to know what was wrong with me.

So, after making my decision, I mustered up my courage, and I walked out of my burrow, to where the prophet resides.

It was still dull and cloudy, a cool breeze swept through the trees. And the chill of the cold gave me goosebumps.

All around the area, all evolutions of the chu's, besides raichu, roamed and frolicked. The little pichu played, while the pikachu watched over them and talked amongst themselves.

I envied the pichu. I didn't have a family. No parents, no siblings, no grandparents, just me, myself and I.

I had no memories of my childhood, therefore I didn't know who my parents were. All of my life, I had been alone, taking care of myself.

As I walked past a group of chus, two pikachu who were talking to each other as they approached me, saw me and immediately turned the other way.

I sighed and hung my head as I continued to walk. Eventually I saw the prophet. He was out by the pond, preaching to a group of chu's. The pikachu were completely engaged, while a couple of the pichu had fallen asleep.

I stood at a safe distance, behind a tree, waiting out for the service to end. Once the service was over, and all the attendants began to leave, I started awkwardly walking towards the prophet, nervous.

"H-hello..?" I asked him, nervously.

His ear perked up, and he turned to me. He looked surprised when he saw me, and he turned his whole body to me, completely. This only made me more nervous and awkward.

"Greetings…" he said to me, half questioning, "Wasn't expecting to see you today."

I rubbed my arm and stared at the ground.

"E-erm… ah… I-I was hoping I-I could talk to you about something..?"

"Why, of course. What is on your mind, young one?"

I fidgeted with my paws nervously, pulling on my tiny fingers and stretching them a bit absent-mindedly as I always did when I was nervous. Upon noticing what I was doing, I quickly froze, chills going up my spine, and I threw my paws behind my back, embarrassed.

"U-um… I-I've been having strange dreams lately… u-um… they've been going on for a while, and they seem to be connected somehow I think… e-erm… d-do you think you'd know the reason why?"

He pondered to himself for a moment, with his paw rubbing against his chin.

"Strange dreams?" He repeated, "What do you see in the dreams?"

"Um… soo there's this figure that keeps watching me… and I've seen it in multiple dreams before, the same figure. And I'll be alone, out in the middle of nowhere, and he'll just be there, watching me. Er, I don't know what it is, it's body is all covered up, so I don't know whether it's a pokemon or, something else…"

"Hmm, and this creature continues to revisit your dreams? Are you sure it's the same one?"

I nodded my head.

"Perhaps," he said, "It has something to do with your… abnormality."

I blushed, and stared at the ground in shame.

"Young one," he said, "This leads me to believe that there is a dark mark upon you."

I looked back up at him, with a sad look.

"W-wha..?" I asked.

"Yes. As much as it pains me to tell you, I believe that you are cursed. It makes sense now. Your abnormality is merely a symptom of your curse… a punishment. But it appears that you are also being followed by a dark entity, ready to pounce on your soul."

"B-but why??" Calling out my elasticity like that really hurt my feelings, and made my heart sore.

"I do not know. But there are tales that tell of the Legends punishing mortals who toy with dark magic. Perhaps your parents, or even your ancestors before them, practiced dark magic, and were forever cursed to breed abnormal children. This possibility could also explain the entity watching you in your dreams. I believe it to be one of Yvetal's demons, possibly summoned by your ancestors, but now haunt the family tree."

This was a response I was not expecting at all.

"U-uh… w-what should I do? C-can you help me?"

"If this demon only lurks within your dreams, then there is very little that I can do. That is a conflict within the Realm of Dreams. And the only Pokémon capable of entering YOUR Yume, is you. That, and a Pokémon with the ability to cross worlds and astral projection. However, that is an ability I do not possess. I can pray for you and give you blessings, but it will have to be on you to beg for Arceus's forgiveness. To be rid of this demon once and for all."

Both of my ears had drooped down, hanging by my face cheeks. Going into this, it was not at all what I was expecting. If I didn't already feel crappy about my "abnormality" I certainly did now.

"O-okay…"

"Come, young one. Join me in prayer, as we speak out to the Legends, to hear your plea."

He held out his paws to me. I hesitantly grabbed his paws with mine. He bowed his head, and I followed along with him. Then, we prayed…
